A Little Understanding

October 24, 2025

We’ll begin our day with some TalkBack calls from yesterday’s show about violence. Then, we shift gears somewhat as we seek understanding and, if we’re lucky, some unity.

For some, confrontation is the goal instead of communication. That’s a mistake. I’m not saying don’t stand up for your beliefs. I’m saying you can win people over with respectful dialog and recognition of where you do agree. That’s a starting point.

Around that we have to acknowledge reality. The issues going on that tend to divide us. Are we looking to win or to find solutions?

Our items today include how teachers’ unions during COVID hurt today’s kids, the president having success in America’s crime-ridden cities, the Democrats having trouble raising money, crime and punishment and Governor DeSantis coming out on term limits. He’s wrong on that one.

Glad you’re with us on a Friday.
