Rap Rising: Megan Thee Stallion Channels Total For New Song 'LOVER GIRL'

Megan Thee Stallion is back with a song for all the lover girls in the world.

On Friday, October 24, the Houston hottie delivered her latest single "LOVER GIRL" via Hot Girl Productions. Produced by JACOBDIOR, Meg channels her inner Total by rapping over a sample of the R&B trio's 1996 hit “Kissin' You."

"Your n***a fantasy, my man reality/I had to lock in when I found out he could handle me," Meg raps in the first verse. "Some n****s call me extra, my nigga call me pressure/This s**t be easy when you find somebody on your level."

Meg has been building the excitement for her new song over the past few weeks. Since she first teased it last month, the multifaceted artist has included clips from the song in several Instagram and TikTok posts. The song was the soundtrack of her latest video with her new boyfriend, Klay Thompson, who may have been her muse while she made the record.
