People Hearing Without Listening

October 27, 2025

I had an interesting email exchange after Friday’s show. The Sound of Silence came immediately to mind. We know folks are listening here. We talk with many of them every day. Yet, how many are hearing what’s being said? Most certainly, it’s not all.

News didn’t stop over the weekend. It never does.

The technology used in that NBA related gambling/theft operation is nothing short of cutting edge. The thieves in the Louvre crown jewel heist have been arrested and their tactics could very well benefit on German company. Bari Weiss is making a smart move at CBS. It’s just not smart that the news got out when it did.

We have a look at a day in the life of Antifa members and what happens when you fool around and find out at an American military base.

18–20-year-olds in Florida have had their 2nd amendment rights restored by a Broward County judge. FDLE is investigating what appears to be a family/business squabble involving Melbourne Mayor Paul Alfrey.

The president’s in Asia and says a trade deal with China is likely. In Chicago, a Border Patrol commander has been ordered to appear in front of a judge to answer for tactics the judge had banned in getting Chicago’s streets under control.

Let’s see what we can cover on a Monday morning.
