Katy Perry 'In A Great Place' Amid Justin Trudeau Romance

Katy Perry is "really enjoying" her new romance with Justin Trudeau.

An insider spoke with People explaining how the "Firework" singer has been "flattered" by the care the former Canadian prime minister has shown her amid their blossoming romance. The pair first sparked romance rumors in July after a reported date in Montreal and made their first public appearance together during an outing in Paris on Saturday (October 25).

"She's focused on her tour, and Justin has made a real effort to meet her where she is — literally," the source said. "She's flattered. He's shown that he's committed and really cares about spending time with her. It's clear that he values the connection, and so does Katy. She's in a great place."

They added, "Dating Justin is something she never saw coming, but she's really enjoying this surprising life twist."

Another source said the pair share a strong connection even despite their respective careers.

"They both have busy schedules but make time for each other and have a really strong connection," the insider said. "Katy didn't expect to fall for somebody so soon, but Justin checks all the boxes. He has a great sense of humor, he's charming and treats her with respect."

The new romance comes after the "Woman's World" singer split from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, this summer. Trudeau split from his estranged wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. They share three kids.
