Liam Hemsworth 'Incredibly Excited' About Engagement To Gabriella Brooks

Liam Hemsworth is "incredibly excited" about taking his relationship with Gabriella Brooks to the next level.

During a Monday (October 27) appearance on the Today Show, the Hunger Games actor, 35, opened up about his recent engagement to his new fiancée. Confirming that he popped the question to the 29-year-old model "a few months ago," Hemsworth explained that they are "super excited" about their upcoming nuptials and that "it's a happy time in life," per E! Online.

Hemsworth also shut down rumors that he and Brooks got engaged in the Maldives during a recent vacation; instead, they had a nice getaway after he wrapped filming on an the season of The Witcher.

"We went there recently," he said. "I finished shooting about three weeks ago and went straight to a tropical island and let my hair down... or took my hair off."

Brooks announced her engagement to The Last Song actor on September 12, sharing a set of sweet photos to Instagram of her posing with her new fiancé and giving followers a close look at her stunning engagement ring. The news came weeks after they first sparked engagement rumors after she was seen with what appeared to be a diamond ring on her left hand while in Spain.

Hemsworth and Brooks have been linked since December 2019, following his divorce from ex-wife Miley Cyrus, but went public with their relationship two years later.
