While I’m not a fan of instant replay in sports, I have to admit that if you’re going to use it, use it well. And most sports aren’t, especially the NFL. Former coach and current analyst Tony Dungy is right. It’s time for the NFL to make replay worth having.
Staying in the sports world, that whole mob theft ring using NBA celebrities to draw marks into rigged poker games is a saga that will be going for some time…as long as the participants last. If you’re in bed with the mob, don’t be surprised when nightmares are part of the deal.
A young lady from Germany is seeking asylum in the US and I hope she gets it. She’s been named the Anti-Greta for her anti-enviro-nut-job stance and she fears imprisonment should she return to Germany.
Dope smokers have filed a lawsuit in Florida over their inability to carry guns because of their illicit behavior. The case is now on hold as the US Supreme Court has taken up a case about the same law.
25 states are suing the Trump administration over SNAP funding ending for the November 1 check rollout. Are these same folks pressuring the Democrats to end the shutdown?
There is a shift happening in the job market with a couple of major employers laying off thousands. Has AI made them that much more efficient?
