Mariah Carey Rings In Holiday Season With Face-Off Against Thieving Elf

The Queen of Christmas is ushering in the most wonderful time of the year.

Now that Halloween has officially come to an end, Mariah Carey is celebrating the upcoming holiday season in true Mariah fashion. In a video shared to her Instagram, made in partnership with Sephora, the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" singer rang in the start of the holidays with a festive face-off with a thieving elf, played by comedian Billy Eichner.

"It's Time!!! 🎄🎁" she captioned the video.

Carey, dressed as an angel, walks into a room declaring how "Halloween slayed" before she comes across a mess on her vanity. As she turns around, Eichner admits he's "busted" and is "striking" with the other elves this holiday season so he stole some of her makeup.

"Elf revenge for putting us through holiday hell," he said. "Santa's helper quit. I'm pawning all this so I can afford elf therapy... Your lipstick, I'm taking it! Christmas is canceled! No bells, no cheer, no glam."

Telling the cynical elf "you can't cancel Christmas," Carey ditched her angel outfit and wings to reveal a sparking red body suit lined with white fur as she fought back with a whistle note of "it's time" that froze Eichner in his place and transformed him into a snowman.

Soundtracked by her beloved holiday hit, scenes began to play showing Carey dashing through the snow in a sleigh and tossing Sephora goodie bags down chimneys before she flies around the Statue of Liberty.
