Halsey Shares Health Update After 'Medical Emergency' Lands Them In ER

Halsey is "ready to rock" after spending several hours in the emergency room.

On Monday (November 3), the "Without Me" singer shared a health update on their Instagram Stories prior to their show in Boston after an unspecified "minor medical emergency" landed her at Mass General Hospital, per People. Paired with an close-up selfie, Halsey wanted to let fans in on the situation in case she had to pace herself during the concert.

"Boston I'm gonna be honest with ya, after the show last night I was in the ER till 6 this morning," she wrote. "Minor medical emergency but I am A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! but if I'm pacing myself, that's why!"

The musician, who is currently on their Back to Badlands tour, also gave a "huge shout out" to the doctors, nurses and other medical staff who attended to them "for being the absolute best team I've ever met" and expressing how "so so grateful" they are for the help.

Halsey's latest health update comes more than a month after they revealed in September they had undergone "another few sessions" of chemotherapy. The singer previously shared they had been diagnosed with lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder in 2022 and have been open about the challenges she has faced battling the conditions.

They revealed their secret health battle in June 2024 and later followed up with another update to share how they were "feeling better" after a "rocky start" to their illness.
