Shunning Normal
November 4, 2025
Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic joined us as we closed yesterday’s show. There’s an election today, but only in Indialantic, Melbourne Beach and Barefoot Bay. Polls are open 7am-7pm and results should be in quite early, even if it seems Pickleball is the biggest question out there.
Normal used to be a base requirement for life. To be accepted at school or in a job or social setting, normal was kind of expected. It should be. But no, today it’s being shunned. It’s completely stupid and the why is the problem.
We claim to cherish the first amendment, so for a moment let’s say that we do. England has no such thing and they want to impose their standards upon the world. We fought a war over this once, maybe it’s time to do so again- maybe with tariffs or other American innovations the Brits could not handle if it weren’t for the close association with us.
Speaking of the first amendment, congrats to one M4L leader who’s doing what M4L does all across the country- win local and win big.
We didn’t get to Steve in Melbourne’s native land of Indiana hating America yesterday. We’ll try and get there today.
There are some things to learn from the government shutdown. Not the least of which are things we don’t need!
Let’s see where a Tuesday takes us on BML.
