In a historic collaboration, Juan Luis Guerra and Sting have come together for the first time to release a brand-new version of Guerra’s beloved classic, "Estrellitas y Duendes." The single and its accompanying video bring two very celebrated artists into one unforgettable moment.

Originally released in 1991 on Guerra's landmark album Bachata Rosa, "Estrellitas y Duendes" became one of Latin music’s most enduring love songs. Now, thirty-four years later, the track gets a stunning revival that blends Guerra's signature Caribbean sound with Sting's unmistakable voice. In a surprising twist, Sting performs the entire song in Spanish — a heartfelt gesture that honors the original while adding new emotional depth.

"Working with Sting has been an immense honor,” said Guerra in a statement. "His artistry and sensitivity brought a new light to 'Estrellitas y Duendes.' Hearing him sing one of my songs in Spanish is a great gift and privilege." Sting added, "I've always admired Juan Luis Guerra's work. His songwriting has such grace and depth, and it was an honor to be part of this new interpretation."

The music video, filmed at New York’s legendary Power Station Studios and directed by Guerra Films, captures the genuine connection between both artists as they share an intimate studio session filled with mutual respect and creative energy.

Together, Guerra and Sting represent over five decades of musical excellence, with a combined total of over 50 Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards. Their new version of "Estrellitas y Duendes" is more than a collaboration — it's a celebration of artistry, culture, and timeless music reborn for a new generation.
