On Thursday (November 6), a reckless driving incident in Aurora, Colorado, led to three firefighters being hospitalized. The crash occurred as Engine 7 of the Aurora Fire Department was responding to a medical emergency with its lights flashing and sirens blaring. The firetruck was making a left-hand U-turn when a black Nissan, driven by 20-year-old Javohir Asrorov, attempted to overtake traffic and collided with the truck.

The impact caused significant damage to the Nissan, with its driver-side door shredded and airbags deployed. Fortunately, the firetruck sustained only minor damage, with scrapes to its paintwork. The Aurora Police Department reported that the three firefighters involved suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Asrorov was issued a summons for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, lacking vehicle registration, and having no insurance. The Aurora Police Department emphasized the importance of yielding to emergency vehicles, stating, "When you see lights and hear sirens, move over and stop."

Aurora Fire Rescue echoed this message, urging drivers to slow down and move over for emergency vehicles.
