Britney Spears is reflecting on an eventful year in her social media return.

The "Baby One More Time" singer returned to Instagram over the weekend, nearly one week after deactivating her account amid fan worries as well as drama surrounding her ex-husband Kevin Federline and the shocking accusations made against her in his new memoir, per People. Spears shared a new post to Instagram on Friday (November 7), with the singer posing in racy lingerie and black boots as she encouraged fans to "own your boundaries."

"So much has happened this year, it's crazy ... I try to live within my means and the book, 'Draw the Circle' is an incredible perspective," she wrote in the caption. "Get your ballerina 🩰, circle, and own your boundaries. It's incredibly strict and somewhat of a form of prayer but with so many endless possibilities in life, it's important to do you and keep it simple. I know there is a confusing side too. The devil is in the details but we can get to that later 😳😂🤧"

The pop princess previously deactivated her Instagram account on November 2 following after recent posts raised concerns among some followers. A post shared last month featured Spears with bruising on her arms and bandages on her hand that she brushed off as being injuries she sustained during a fall down stairs.

The move also came after Spears called out her ex for spreading "lies" after he made shocking allegations in his memoir that she watched their sons, Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19, sleeping while holding a knife." A rep for the singer also slammed the claims as Federline as "profiting" off his ex-wife and noting that his remarks came "after child support has ended."

The rep added, "All [Spears] cares about are her kids Sean Preston and Jayden James and their well-being during this sensation."
