50 Cent had something to say after his ex, Vivica A. Fox, told people not to date him or any other rappers.
The esteemed actress recently shared her thoughts about Fif during her recent appearance at the Ultimate Women's Expo in Edison, New Jersey. After an audience member asked a question about her chasing her dreams, Vivica A. Fox immediately responded by advising people not to become romantically involved with 50 Cent or other rap artists. The "Power" creator didn't take long to clap back.
“Either way I’m a have that ass in the matrix, you know I love me some you girl,” 50 Cent wrote. “But damn it’s been 22 years, Vivica.”
“Don't date 50 Cent, don’t date no damn rappers,” Fox said. “Facts! … Just so you know, it took me years to be able to laugh about it. I had to learn to laugh not to cry no more, but I did it.”
50 Cent and Vivica A. Fox briefly dated in 2003 following his appearance at the BET Awards. After he won Best New Artist, the G-Unit founder shouted out the Independence Day actress and sparked a romance that would follow him for the rest of his life.
“I’m just happy to be present with all of these beautiful people in here," 50 said at the time. I want to thank Vivica Fox for wearing that dress too."
Soon after, 50 Cent and Vivica A. Fox dated for several months and even attended the MTV Video Music Awards later that year, but eventually broke up. The duo did reunite for 50 Cent's 2009 video for "Do You Think About Me." However, they've gone back-and-forth a few times online over the years.
