Sean "Diddy" Combs might have to spend a little more time behind bars amid his recent issues in prison.

According to a report Page Six published on Wednesday, November 12, the artist's release date from the Federal Correctional Institute Fort Dix in New Jersey was pushed back from May 8, 2028, to June 4, 2028. There's no confirmation on what caused the change, but the report comes after the Bad Boy Records founder allegedly experienced some problems with prison officials while at Fort Dix. Following reports that alleged he possessed an alcoholic substance in his cell, Combs vehemently denied that he was drinking behind bars.

"The rumors claiming Mr. Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false," they wrote on X. "His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family."

"Mr. Combs is in his first week at FCI Fort Dix and is focused on adjusting, working on himself, and doing better each day," Diddy’s family spokesperson Juda Engelmayer told TMZ. "As with any high-profile individual in a new environment, there will be many rumors and exaggerated stories throughout his time there—most of them untrue. We ask that people give him the benefit of the doubt, the privacy to focus on his personal growth with grace and purpose."

In addition to allegedly drinking prison hooch, Combs was also reprimanded for allegedly conducting a three-way call. CBS News recently reported that the call happened on November 3. He began by talking to a woman about coordinating visits for the weekend and allegedly asked them to bring $200 in singles, which is prohibited. Midway through the call, Combs allegedly said he needed to talk to "the digital person" about blogs. A woman asked Combs if she should add that person to the call, and he agreed. Prisons do not allow inmates to have three-way calls with multiple people.

"It was a procedural call initiated by one of his attorneys and was protected under attorney client privilege," Engelmayer said. "There was nothing improper."

Combs arrived at Fort Dix on October 30. He's currently working as a chaplain's assistant, which is one of the most coveted jobs at the facility. His tasks reportedly include maintaining the chaplain's religious library, cleaning their office, and assisting with record-keeping.
