GloRilla wants to dig into her R&B bag for a future project.
The Memphis rapper shared an update about a new direction she plans to go in for an upcoming album. Big Glo has made a name for herself after dropping a series of top-charting rap records, including "FNF (Let's Go)" to her recent smash hit "TGIF," which was recently nominated for Best Rap Song ahead of the 2026 Grammy Awards. Now she plans to switch things up for her next LP. On Wednesday, November 19, GloRilla informed her 2.8 million X followers that she plans to cook up an R&B album.

The CMG signee didn't specify if the project would serve as the follow-up to her debut album, Glorious. Her first full-length LP holds 15 tracks including collaborations with Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, Sexyy Red, T-Pain, BossMan Dlow, and K Carbon. She also teamed up with R&B artists Muni Long and Fridayy, as well as Kirk Franklin, Maverick City Music, Kierra Sheard and Chandler Moore for her gospel track "Rain Down On Me." The song earned her the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the 2025 BET Awards earlier this year.
GloRilla is up for three Grammy Awards this year including Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song for "TGIF" and her verse on Tyler, The Creator's "Sticky." She has been nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance in the past, but has yet to take home a golden gramophone. Hopefully, this will be her year.
There's no word on when to expect her R&B album, but let her cook. In the meantime, listen to her latest single "Typa" on iHeartRadio now.
