Cynthia Erivo & Ariana Grande Share Which 'Wicked' Song Was Most Emotional

It's an emotional time for Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Wicked: For Good, the final chapter of their Wicked story, hits theaters and comes to a close. Recently, the opened up about all of the incredible music from the film in a new interview with iHeartRadio — including which song was most emotional to film.

The verdict? "For Good." Both Erivo and Grande agreed that "For Good" was most emotional for them, and with lyrics like "Because I knew you/ I have been changed/ For good," who can blame them? It is a heartfelt duet between Elphaba and Glinda that captures the emotional core of their friendship. They both shared together, "Of course, 'For good.' That was a mess. And it was shot over a few days as well," with Ariana following up with, "I was out of my body for two weeks."

Earlier in the interview, Grande also shared of the track, "'I have been changed for good' certainly hits in a new way than it ever has, as a fan of course," to which Erivo agreed.

Wicked: For Good is the second and final part to the Wicked film released last year. The emotionally charged sequel continues the untold story of Elphaba and Glinda. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the film explores Elphaba's life in exile as she fights for the oppressed in Oz, while Glinda, now a celebrated symbol of goodness, grapples with fame and a looming royal wedding. As their paths diverge and a dangerous mob rises, their deep friendship becomes the unlikely force that could change Oz — for good.
