Benny Blanco's mother and Selena Gomez's new mother-in-law Sandra Levin survived a scary incident earlier this week after barricading herself in her bathroom when a group of masked burglars broke into her home.
Levin was home alone at Studio City, California, residence on Monday (November 24), when three men reportedly broke a sliding glass door and entered the home shortly after 9 p.m., ABC7 reports. When she heard the noise, she ran upstairs and barricaded herself in a bathroom to call 911. Officers responded to the call, but the burglars had already left the scene by the time they arrived. Authorities were also alerted to the break-in after a home security alarm was triggered.
Levin was not named in the report, but neighbors and property records allegedly identify Levin's home as the one that was burglarized. She was unharmed but reportedly shaken up after the terrifying incident, claiming that the suspects kicked down the bathroom door before they got away. Another report states that the burglars fled after realizing someone was in the home when Levin peeked out of the bathroom, per TMZ.
It is unclear what they suspects stole during the burglary as several rooms in the home were "ransacked."
As of Wednesday morning, the suspects remain at large. According to NBC Los Angeles, they were reported to be wearing masks and dark clothing at the time of the burglary.
