Rising R&B star Coco Jones is set to take center stage at Super Bowl LX as the performer of “Lift Every Voice and Sing."
According to the Associated Press, Jones has been announced as one of the pre-game perfomers set to open the 2026 Super Bowl, marking a major milestone in her rising music career.
The announcement comes off the heels of Jones winning her first Grammy for Best R&B Performance with her hit single “ICU” and earning a nomination for Best R&B Album for her debut project Why Not More?. Jones also stars as Hilary Banks on Peacock’s Bel-Air, which is entering its final season.
During the Super Bowl LX pregame show, Jones will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing” alongside deaf performing artist Fred Beam, who will interpret the perfomance and the national anthem in American Sign Language.
Jones' performance, as well as Charlie Puth's rendition of the national anthem and Brandi Carlile singing "America the Beautiful," will air live on February 8 on NBC, Telemundo and Peacock ahead of the championship matchup at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
“Charlie, Brandi and Coco are generational talents,” Desiree Perez, CEO of Roc Nation, which is producing the show, said in a statement. “This moment embodies the very best of culture, live performance and our country.”
Bad Bunny is also set to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show, which will include a multilingual signing program featuring Puerto Rican Sign Language, led by interpreter Celimar Rivera Cosme.
