More Snow and Ice Expected Across Midwest and Northeast
December 2, 2025
Another round of winter weather is hitting the Midwest and Northeast, marking the third major storm in just seven days. Chicago and much of the upper Midwest are bracing for more accumulation as heavy snow moves through the region.
Weather alerts have been issued from Pennsylvania to Maine, with winter conditions expected west of the I-95 corridor. East of the corridor, the storm will bring rain instead of snow.
Parts of Virginia and western North Carolina could see dangerous ice buildup, prompting warnings from meteorologists and local officials. Residents are strongly urged to use caution, avoid unnecessary travel, prepare for slick roads, and stay warm.
With several storms hitting in quick succession, forecasters are reminding people that winter is far from over and conditions could worsen over the next few days.
