Kevin Jonas Shares the Real Story Behind First Solo Track "Changing": Watch

Worth the wait! Kevin Jonas shared with Ryan Seacrest the real story behind his first-ever solo track "Changing." The eldest Jonas Brother shared with Seacrest it was the right time and right song, but it still took a minute.

Kevin shared he reached out to producer Jason Evigani after he performed solo in their new holiday film A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, but he didn't initially hear back from the producer.

"I texted Jason Evigani and I said, 'Hey do you have any songs that you think might work for me?'  ... And he does not respond to me -- this is February -- until June and he responds with the song and says 'I think I found it.'"

Kevin continued that he then flew to LA almost immediately to start recording. 

"Timing is everything with these things."

So why did it take nearly 20 years to debut his own solo track?
