Kim Kardashian had a chilling conversation with her sister Kourtney Kardashian about being robbed just hours before she faced that exact situation.

Kim said her life was "changed forever" after a trip to Paris Fashion Week in October 2016 turned into a nightmare when she was held up at gunpoint in her hotel room by a group of men dressed as policemen who robbed her of more than $10 million in jewelry, per People. The SKIMS founder's terrifying ordeal was brought up during Thursday's (December 4) episode of The Kardashians when she traveled to Paris to testify in the trial of 10 people facing charges related to the heist.

Kim's friend Simone Harouche was in her hotel room under Kim's own at the time and recalled hearing the "sheer terror" in Kim's voice during the robbery, including the mom of four telling the robbers, "Take anything you want."

The plea seemingly struck a chord with Kourtney, who revealed in a confessional that the robbery came at an eerie time as she and Kim had discussed earlier that same day what they would do if they were robbed.

"We had just had that conversation at lunch," she said. "[We were] saying that, if we were ever getting robbed, that we would say, 'Take whatever you want.'"

The Lemme founder added that the timing of the conversation "was just so crazy" because of what Kim experienced later that day.

Kim was visibly shaken as she testified during the trial in May 2025, tearfully recalling the night she "thought [she] was going to die" when she realized running "wasn't an option" after she was bound and gagged with a gun held to her back.

"At that point, I was sure that's when they were going to shoot me," she said. "So I said a prayer for my family, my mom, my sister, and best friend. I absolutely did think I was gonna die."
