WWE superstar and A-list actor John Cena called A.J. Styles the "best to ever do it" during an interview with podcaster Chris Van Vliet.
“Best to ever do it. Shawn [Michaels is] gonna be p*ssed, and God did Shawn ever take care of me. There’s not a lot he [Styles] can’t do, and he makes difficult look easy.
"But that is not God given talent. That is practice. When you see difficult become seamless, it’s because it’s been done 10,000 times, and the amount of sh*t he can do seamlessly. Man, he’s best to ever do it.”
Cena was one of Styles' most notable feuds early in his WWE tenure, which began in 2016 after finding success in many of wrestling's other top promotions.
“It’s true that there isn’t is anyone in the ring I trust more than John Cena,” Styles told wrestling journalist Justin Barrasso this week. “He’s incredible at understanding what the fans need when they need it, but he’s even more incredible with the way he treats people.
“John is incredible at understanding and listening to what the fans need when they need it. I love watching that. But I take even more pleasure in seeing the kind of guy he is outside the ring.”
Cena is set to appear in his final match as a WWE superstar during the Saturday Night's Main Event premium live event airing on Peacock Saturday (December 13) night.
