Trisha Yearwood shared a sweet anniversary tribute to her husband, fellow country icon Garth Brooks, on Wednesday (December 10). The two artists are celebrating 20 years of marriage.

“The very best part of the last 20 years has been you. Merry Christmas, Valentine. I love you. Trisha,” Yearwood wrote as she posted a photo on Instagram of herself kissing Brooks on the cheek. She released “Merry Christmas, Valentine,” a duet with Brooks, on her new holiday album that arrived last month. Christmastime also includes Yearwood’s renditions of “Blue Christmas,” “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,” and more.

Brooks, 63, and Yearwood, 61, got married in an intimate ceremony at their home in Oklahoma on December 10, 2005. The two country superstars met at a demo recording session in the late 1980s in Nashville, Tennessee. They remained friends and maintained a professional relationship until they began dating in 2002, after finalizing their divorces from their previous spouses. Brooks and Yearwood made their public debut as a couple that year, and tied the knot in 2005. They've since recorded duets together and shared sweet tributes to one another as they've marked meaningful milestones over the years. See Yearwood’s anniversary tribute to Brooks here:
