NO, TRUMP CAN'T PARDON TINA PETERS I know there was a flurry of activity online last night when Trump made this post on Truth Social:

Tina Peters has not been charged with or found guilty of ANY Federal crimes. She was charged and found guilty of STATE crimes. There is no precedent that says a President can pardon someone for state crimes. The pardon power comes from Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution, which states:

“The President… shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.”

“Offenses against the United States.”

That language has consistently been interpreted to mean federal crimes only, not violations of state law. He can't pardon her. Period. Full stop. The only person that can pardon her is the Governor of Colorado. And frankly, she doesn't deserve a pardon. She may deserve a sentence commutation, but she clearly broke the law no matter what her intentions were. Our team is supposed to be pro-Constitution, aren't we? You can read more here, but he can't pardon Tina Peters no matter how much you want him to.

IT'S CHRISTMAS "BONUS" TIME Does anyone still do that? I remembered something funny and posted about it.

Has anyone gotten a worse "bonus"? I'd love to know.

COLORADO IS THE THIRD MOST EXPENSIVE PLACE TO LIVE IN THE US And we can look squarely at the Colorado Democrats who have been running the place since 2019 and thank them for this. Why? Look at these:

Colorado dropped from 47th to 48th in housing affordability in U.S. News’ 2025 rankings.
According to the Colorado Realtors’ Association, the average home price in the Denver Metro area stood at nearly $700,000 in 2024.
The state’s overall cost of living also lagged behind most of the country. The CNBC’s rankings said Colorado fell from 46th to 47th this year.
Colorado is the sixth-most regulated state in the country, which business leaders often cite when expressing worries that the regulatory environment and red tape are deterring companies from relocating to the state.
That number comes from the chamber’s own study conducted last year, which found that about 45% of Colorado’s nearly 200,000 regulations are “excessive or duplicative.”

Yay. Job well done. This is what bigger government, which we have certainly gotten under Jared Polis, does.

BUT THEY HAVEN'T STOPPED OVER REGULATING US YET! Because here is a list of a bunch of the new laws that are landing on January 1st, and most of them are about making business harder than it already is.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK HAS TOO MANY MOOSE And they are working on a management plan. The moose are tearing up parts of the park because there are too many, so I'm guessing they will talk about culling moose pretty soon. That means killing them for you non-hunters. Read more here.

THE WOMEN'S SOCCER STADIUM IS MOVING FORWARD But the team says it is still in conversations about a backup site after some members of the Denver City Council balked and demanded a delay on the votes to buy the land needed for the stadium. Now it seems to be moving forward, but it's not done yet.

SOCIAL JUSTICE GROUP ACCUSED OF STEALING WAGES And I laughed and laughed when I saw this about former Aurora City Councilor Crystal Murillo's SJW organization is being hit with wage theft accusations. Why? Her Colorado People’s Alliance defines itself as a member-led, multi-racial social justice organization focused on promoting progressive change in Colorado. Now a former employee says the dispute is linked to issues surrounding flex-time, paid time off and other wage allegations during her tenure as Director of Organizing. I'm sure it was just an oversight.

CALIFORNIA'S FRAUD RIDDEN HOMELESS MESS This is a great column on how riddled with fraud the California homeless initiative is. When you read this a lot of it will sound VERY familiar as Colorado is pursuing many of the same sorts of things with the complete lack of follow up to determine effectiveness, which has led to rampant fraud.

SLEEP MATTERS MORE THAN DIET OR EXERCISE When it comes to living a long and healthy life. Only smoking shortened life spans by more. Read it here.

NORAD NEEDS NEEDED SANTA TRACKERS! If I were going to be here I'd 100% do this. UPDATE: All the slots are full but I'm leaving this here so you know about it for next year!

SHE IS A TYPICAL LOUISVILLE LIBERAL Kentucky State Representative Sarah Stalker has made the news with a speech so full of claptrap that I feel sorry for her because she really 100% believes this.

Don't ever feel bad about something you can't control. Just do your best to correct the injustices you can and go about your life without this performative garbage designed to make people think you are morally superior. Full stop.

“Elf” is a staple rewatch every holiday season. While on a tour of some of New York City’s most recognizable locations used in film and TV, we heard a little BTS from the movie’s production. Roseanne Almanzar of @onlocationtours shares the story, so it goes, of the decision to shoot Santaland in Gimbels. #nyc #elf #holidays #bts

WHY NUTRITION SCIENCE IS SO SHADY This is a GREAT example of how nutrition science has been bastardized by Big Food, although in this case it's Big Soda.

ELI LILLY'S NEW WEIGHT LOSS DRUG IS BONKERS And some in the trial had to stop taking it because they lost TOO MUCH weight. Read about this next breakthrough here.

NANO BOTS ARE BEING PERFECTED And now scientists have built an itty bitty robot that has an "onboard computer, sensors and a motor, the whole assembly less than 1 millimeter in size — smaller than a grain of salt." This is the next step to nanobots that can be injected into humans to destroy cancer cells and other stuff. I can't wait!

WHY DOES THE FED NEED 350 PHD ECONOMISTS? I simply love Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

YOU SHOULD WATCH THE TWISTED VIEW With my pal Leland Conway and Christian Toto and Ben Albright in this episode. The Independence Institute is doing some great shows, you should check them all out.

I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOOR DASH DRIVER And for the people who got a bag from outside that had been sprayed with pepper spray, and DIDN'T NOTICE UNTIL THEY ATE IT???? Watch below or click here.

@insideedition

After eating the food they Doordashed to their Indiana home, Marc Cardin says his wife started coughing before throwing up. When Cardin watched the footage from the doorbell camera, he noticed the driver spraying something that he believes was pepper spray right on the bag. In a statement, Doordash says, "We have zero tolerance for this type of appalling behavior," and the driver has been permanently removed from the platform. They also say they are cooperating with the investigation. #doordash #indiana
