Myles Smith sparked an arena-wide singalong when he took the stage with his viral single at the 2025 iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball Presented By Capital One.

Smith was part of the star-studded lineup during the Friday night (December 12) show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The U.K.-born singer-songwriter, 27, kicked off his set with “Wait For You,” before launching into his viral TikTok anthem, “Nice to Meet You,” getting fans throughout the venue on their feet. Smith released the hit single last November, and revamped it earlier this year with reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson. The folk-pop hitmaker closed out his performance with “Stay” and breakout single, “Stargazing.”

Smith caught up with Z100's Danielle and Gandhi in the Mercedes-Benz Interview Lounge backstage before his performance. He said it’s “wild” to write “Stargazing” “in the middle of nowhere with some friends,” and to see it become a globally-embraced hit. Smith, a self-proclaimed “cookie monster,” said writing the song “was beautiful, and it was so amazing to create a song in that environment [Malibu], and for it to be as beautiful as the scene we were looking at.”

Other artists who took the stage throughout the night include Alex Warren, BigXThaPlug, Conan Gray, Ed Sheeran, Jessie Murph, Laufey, MONSTA X, Nelly, Ravyn Lenae and Zara Larsson. This year’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour also included stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth and other major cities nationwide with star-studded lineups. To relive the holiday magic, iHeartRadio is partnering with ABC to bring the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour to even more fans across the country, as an exclusive network special will be aired on December 17th and next day on Hulu.
