A pair of compelling UFO videos, a witchcraft ritual caught by a security camera in India, and an alleged car thief who told cops he teleported into the vehicle were among the weird and wondrous stories to cross our desk this past week.

This week was bookended by remarkable UFO videos, starting on Monday with a triangular set of lights filmed floating over the Mexican city of Orizaba. As is often the case with such strange scenes, response to the video largely fell into two camps: those who believed the oddity was otherworldly and others who argued that it was a drone or something similarly prosaic. The week came to a close with an equally bizarre UFO case out of Bogota, Colombia, where multiple people spotted a curious-looking UFO hovering in the night sky on several different nights. The particularly puzzling anomaly resembles a set of approximately five vertical illuminations surrounded by a glowing ring.

A pair of peculiar stories involving cars made headlines this past week, beginning with a video from a hospital in Mexico wherein a worker seemingly spotted an eerie face lingering in a vehicle outside the building. When the man went outside the facility to investigate the situation, he was stunned to find no one there. Chillingly, upon his return to the building, the creepy visage appeared again before slowly vanishing as he watched with unease. Meanwhile, in Florida, a suspected car thief offered a rather fantastic excuse for his actions when questioned by cops by claiming that he had teleported into the vehicle. After subsequently declaring "you saved me from the aliens," the man was arrested for grand theft and, adding insult to injury, driving without a license.

Two rather strange pieces of security footage caught our eye this past week. First, in India, a camera captured a man conducting a witchcraft ritual at the doorstep of a shuttered home. The attempted black magic, which involved breaking a coconut over various ingredients like turmeric and vermilion, understandably unsettled residents of the neighborhood visited by the mysterious stranger, who gave no indication why he performed the ritual. A decidedly less unnerving security video from England showed a clever troublemaker illegally dumping trash in someone's bin while dressed in an inflatable purple dinosaur costume.
