Tim McGraw shared his performance of a “beautiful,” “powerful” unreleased ballad with a timely message.

“In this world right now, this message has never been more relevant and true,” McGraw wrote in his caption when he posted the performance clip on Instagram on Tuesday (December 16). The audience applauded and rose from their seats in a standing ovation. Commenters hailed the song “so powerful,” “beautiful,” and “this just hits differently.” Instagram users encouraged others to “be kind,” “be a good human” to one another, and understand that “we are all different but still human.”

McGraw has not shared any other details about the song — including whether he plans to release it, or a possible release date — as of publication time on Wednesday morning (December 17).

McGraw’s latest song to make its debut is “King Rodeo.” He released the emotional track in August, a live recording from the first-ever Music City Rodeo in Nashville, Tennessee. McGraw was one of the headlining artists of the inaugural event, along with Reba McEntire and Jelly Roll. He shared the stage with cowboys and cowgirls during his first show in his Las Vegas run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace earlier this month, and together, they revealed headliners of the second annual rodeo in 2026. McGraw said when he introduced “King Rodeo” to the Nashville arena audience for the first time, “we’ve been working on a new record and we thought that this song was appropriate for the night.”

McGraw’s most recent full studio album is Standing Room Only, which arrived in August 2023. He followed it with a surprise 6-track EP, Poet’s Resumé, in November of that year. The country superstar is known for “I Like It, I Love It,” “Live Like You Were Dying,” “Something Like That,” “Where The Green Grass Grows,” “Just To See You Smile,” “Humble and Kind” and more throughout his career.
