Details have been announced to remember Criscilla Crossland Anderson, star of Country Ever After and ex-wife of country artist Coffey Anderson. She died earlier this month after a years-long battle with cancer. She was 45.

Criscilla’s funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Hope Fellowship Prosper, a non-denominational church in Prosper, Texas. Per a post on Criscilla’s Instagram account: “It is with love, intention, and deep respect for her wishes that we invite the public to celebrate the life of Criscilla Emma Marie.

“Criscilla was very specific about how she wanted this day to look and feel, and it has been an honor to help bring her vision to life,” the post states. Attendees are also asked to honor a dress code inspired by Criscilla: “No black, please. Dress as Criscilla would. Coral and teal were her favorite colors, and we invite you to wear them in celebration of her. …Please continue to pray over this day, over her children, and over everyone who loved her. My hope is that this gathering reflects the beauty, depth, and love she carried—and that it is everything she imagined.”

Criscilla’s friend, a photographer named Lindsey, shared a posthumous message from Criscilla on Instagram on December 2. Crisilla, who battled cancer for seven years, wrote, in part, that “if you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus — peacefully and surrounded by love. Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone… I’m Home.” She shared heartfelt messages to loved ones, including to her children. She concluded her post: “Be gentle with each other. Hold my children close. And remember: heaven isn’t as far away as it feels. I love you all. Always.”
