Fivio Foreign is entering rehab to start 2026 on a positive note after a challenging 2025. The "Big Drip" artist announced his decision via an Instagram video on Wednesday, December 31st, where he introduced his wife and their infant son. He credited his family, team, and probation officer for encouraging him to seek professional help. Fivio revealed that the rehab program costs $10,000 for one or two weeks.
In the video, he shared, "I wanna let y'all know, with the help of my team, my wife, my family, my probation officer, and the people I've been talking to: I'm admitting myself into a rehab center in the next couple of days, for like a week or two." He added, "I just feel like I'm at a point where, you know, I want to change, I wanna live, and I wanna stop making a lot of dumb decisions and a lot of dumb mistakes that I've been making."
Fivio's decision comes after a tumultuous year. He spent most of 2025 in jail following a New Year's Eve incident in Edgewater, New Jersey, where he was accused of pulling a gun on a woman over a parking dispute. He faced multiple charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon and terroristic threats. After serving 196 days in jail, he was released in August and is now on a three-year probation.
Fivio's past legal troubles have included various incidents, but 2025 was particularly challenging for the rapper, impacting his music career significantly.
The rehab announcement highlights Fivio's determination to comply with his probation terms and avoid returning to jail. With three years of supervision ahead, staying out of trouble is crucial for the rapper's future.
