Hey Kretchy! What'd You Do on Vacation?

Well, since you asked - here's some of what I did on vacation!

First- to be truthful - I did something I don't usually do - and that's - A LOT OF NOTHING. As you all know, the past 3 months haven't been easy and I think we all needed time to power down and recharge. I know I certainly did. But Im ready to go and get back into things!

The Friday after Buzzball- going on only 3 hrs sleep, we jumped in the car with our Brew Crew friends Gary and Lorraine- and headed for Burlington VT. Our friends in the Adam Ezra Group were playing that night, along with Griffin William Sherry of the Ghost of Paul Revere- at High Ground, so we made a weekend out of it!

It was great to see and hang with both Adam and Griffin, and the show, the venue and everything was just awesome. Valerie and I brought back a gift for Adam from our trip to Ireland- and we made pretty quick use of it - haha

The next day we spent Brewery hopping - heres a few we hit up

Burlington Brewing Co, Zero Gravity, Lawsons, and a couple more - and all were awewsome! We had a great couple days touring around with no timeline or destination. It was totally what I needed -

I couldn't resist the second pic- and before you climb up in my s**t about "TURN ON THE HEAT IN THE HOUSE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, KRETCHY!"- let me say that I'm NOT the one who wants it cold in the house - talk to the sleeping woman! haha

We had a really nice, quiet holiday - and it was our first ever "Giftless Christmas". We basically said - we don't need anything, and our kids (who are adults) said the same - so we basically did small stuff in Xmas stockings and thats it. And I have to say- it was pretty great! Imagine - an NO PRESSURE CHRISTMAS! The only thing we all wanted was to hang out together, share a meal and relax - and that's what we did. If you've never done it- I suggest you try it - you might like it!

Of course I got out with the camera a few times - and got some pretty cool time with some baldies -

And we had a huge, ugly looking bird stop by our birdfeed cam too!

New Years Eve was totally chill at our friends Dave and Jolene's place - and all i remember is my friend Rachel MIGHT have gotten me hammered....

I said MIGHT......cuz I kind of don't remember!!! :)

We start with a sub zero morning in New Castle, complete with sea smoke at sunrise -

The last sunrise of 2025 - had me in Rye NH

And New Years Morning didn't feature the sun, but the waves were rocking at Nubble Light in Cape Neddick ME

And I also had a great morning out in Old Orchard Beach too

And lastly- I spent some time going thru the photos and videos from Buzzball - (videos posted below) but here's one I didn't share. Its one of my favorite moments from Buzzball - and nobody saw it. During the Ozzy Tribute - he and Demetri Papanicolau (awesome singer in the band D-Comp) were just grooving to the band, and I loved how much ROADKILL was loving it. Cool to see. He had no idea I took it - and you are seeing it before he does- hahaha

And a listener posted one of my favorite pics from Buzzball - it was me and Tom during the "Misfits" song we sung and it is just perfect...

It's the moment when I roasted him about getting fired from Dancing with the Stars- LOOK AT THE FACE ON HIM! Classic!
