In the latest twist in the ongoing saga surrounding ownership of the infamous Conjuring House, the disputed sale of the home has been squashed for now. The purportedly haunted Rhode Island residence has had an uncertain fate over the last several months. First scheduled for auction on Halloween, the sale was cancelled when YouTuber Elton Castee bought the underlying mortgage of the home, but not the deed to the house itself. The situation took an even stranger turn in December when a lawsuit filed by owner Jacqueline Nuñez's sister, Elizabeth Greenhalgh, revealed that Jason Hawes of Ghost Hunters fame had arranged to purchase the property and argued that she was "not of sound mind" when she signed off on the exchange.
