If you watched Bad Bunny perform during the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, you saw a couple seemingly get married on the biggest stage in sports. But was it real?
According to People, the bride and groom, clad in all white, actually tied the knot on the field at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday (February 8) as Bad Bunny performed hits like "Tití Me Preguntó" and "Yo Perreo Sola" in his star-studded set.
The couple, whose names have not been shared, said "I do" and shared a kiss before special guest Lady Gaga appeared on stage to sing a revamped version of her hit "Die with a Smile." The newlyweds were even seen cutting into a three-tiered cake and sharing a slice.
After the performance, the musician's team confirmed that the nuptials were authentic, noting that "as the music played, a real wedding took place onstage." The couple had originally invited Bad Bunny to attend their wedding but were instead invited to be a part of his historic Halftime Show "where they were married live, with him serving as a witness and signing the marriage certificate, complete with a wedding cake, turning the moment into a joyful celebration unfolding in real time."
