Country music legend Trace Adkins will bring his deep baritone voice and catalog of hits to the Great New York State Fair this summer, performing at the Suburban Park stage on Saturday, September 5, at 8 p.m.
The three-time Grammy Award nominee, known for chart-toppers like "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk," "Ladies Love Country Boys," and "You're Gonna Miss This," will headline as part of the 2026 Chevrolet Music Series, according to fair officials.
"Adkins's commanding voice and authentic presence on stage make every concert a memorable experience," said Fair Director Julie LaFave. "We're thrilled to bring his legendary talent to The Fair and look forward to a night of unforgettable country music."
With a career spanning more than three decades, Adkins has charted over 20 singles on the Billboard country music charts and earned multiple industry awards. Beyond music, he's appeared in television and film projects, including roles on "King of the Hill" and as a winner on "Celebrity Apprentice."
The Great New York State Fair runs from Wednesday, August 26, through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. All concerts are included with fair admission, making it one of the most affordable state fairs in the country. Tickets are $8 for adults, while children under 12 and seniors 65 and older get in free.
Adkins joins other announced acts in the fair's concert lineup, including rock legends ZZ Top, who will perform at Suburban Park on Thursday, September 3. The 2026 Chevrolet Music Series is expected to feature 41 national recording acts, with concerts happening daily at various times and venues throughout the fairgrounds.
Tickets for the fair are expected to go on sale later this summer.
