The Chicago Bears have reportedly traded wide receiver D.J. Moore and a fifth-round 2026 NFL Draft pick to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero on Thursday (March 5).

"Done deal: The Bills are sending a 2026 second-round pick to the Bears for WR D.J. Moore and a 2026 fifth-round pick, per sources. A pick swap that gives Chicago extra draft ammo and Buffalo a new top receiver," Pelissero wrote on his X account.

Moore, 28, along with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft -- which was used on quarterback Caleb Williams -- in exchange for the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Moore led the Bears in receiving yards during his first two seasons with the franchise, but saw his production drop to a career-low 50 receptions for 682 yards -- though matching his six receiving touchdowns from the previous season -- in 2025, having been targeted 85 times, the lowest total since his rookie season in 2018. The veteran wide receiver will join a Bills team in need of a primary option for former NFL MVP Josh Allen after several key departures in recent years.
