A fantastic drone video of a UFO over Ukraine, a fresh crop formation found in England, and an alleged mischief-making goblin causing a commotion at an Argentine oil field were among the weird and wondrous stories to cross our desk this week.

Based on this past week's headlines, the United Kingdom may be in for a busy summer of high strangeness as far as a pair of classic paranormal mysteries is concerned. Ahead of a massive annual search at Loch Ness later this month, two separate witnesses were credited with possibly spotting the popular Scottish site's famed 'monster,' including one astounded individual who snapped a photo of a peculiar anomaly emerging from the water. Meanwhile, just a few days after the first crop circle of the season appeared, a second formation was found this past week. The newly discovered design depicts a five-pointed star comprised of circles that, taken together, somewhat resemble the famed Michelin Man.

One of the more fantastic UFO videos we have seen in quite some time popped up on our radar this past week when a Ukrainian military drone specialist shared astonishing footage of a remarkably clear and rather unusual object hovering in the sky. Captured by one of the country's UAVs last May, the tantalizing scene shows a close-up view of an odd orb that sported a central illumination and six lighted cones. The weird UFO seen in the video immediately drew comparisons to a similar object featured in a newly released Pentagon video from 2013. The source of the footage, Serhiy Beskrestnov, a senior drone advisor to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, posited that the anomalies were likely "hidden new weapons of our enemy" rather than alien visitors.

Easily, the most bizarre story of the week came by way of Argentina, where oil field workers claimed their job site was being menaced by a mischievous goblin-like figure and purportedly had the footage to prove it. Revealed by the uncle of a man newly employed at the location, the mysterious figure was said to cause a ruckus in the middle of the night by banging metal structures and moving things. Seemingly confirming something is amiss at the site, a strange security video from the oil field featured a safety cone appearing to move on its own, and a photo showed a diminutive figure believed to be the baffling being, which some suspect is a supernatural creature akin to a goblin. Skeptics, however, suggested the workers were simply hazing their newest crew member with a well-crafted tall tale.
