Two More Arrested In UFC Event Attack Plot

Two more individuals have been arrested in connection with a plot to attack a UFC event at the White House, according to the Department of Justice. The suspects, from Missouri and Washington, face charges of conspiracy to commit murder. They join five others already charged in the plot.

The conspiracy involved plans to use drones carrying explosives and snipers to target attendees, including U.S. politicians. Federal prosecutors allege the conspirators intended to create chaos by detonating drones over the crowd and shooting fleeing guests.

The plot was uncovered after a concerned mother in Ohio alerted authorities about her son's suspicious behavior. Tycen Proper, 19, admitted to planning the attack to "jump-start" a revolution in the U.S. He, along with others, was part of a network using encrypted communications to coordinate the attack.

The FBI's swift action, in collaboration with the Secret Service, prevented the attack, as reported by The Washington Post. The event, attended by President Donald Trump, was part of the 250th-anniversary celebrations of the Declaration of Independence.

Investigators are continuing to analyze digital evidence to identify more individuals involved in the plot. The arrested suspects face severe federal charges, including life imprisonment.
