Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster both made headlines this past week as astonished witnesses reported possible sightings of the legendary cryptids. On the Sasquatch front, a Colorado woman cruising down the highway spotted an 8-foot-tall, hair-covered bipedal creature on the side of the road. Previously skeptical that Bigfoot exists, she became an instant believer after the remarkable moment. Meanwhile, at Loch Ness, an Australian tourist visiting the iconic Scottish site observed three seemingly connected humps emerge from the water and move in a fashion reminiscent of a swimming creature. The fantastic account has been recognized as the 10th official 'monster' sighting in what has become a banner year for Nessie cases.

This past week featured a pair of puzzling videos from Colombia wherein paranormal phenomena appeared to vanish into thin air. In the first instance, witnesses watching a weird white orb hovering in the sky were astonished when the mystifying UFO suddenly disappeared before their eyes. While some viewers of the viral video suggested that curious moment was an alien craft cloaking itself, more skeptical observers argued it was simply a balloon popping. The second piece of footage was nearly as mystifying. Filmed by a security camera, it showed a ghostly figure walking through a parking lot before seemingly dematerializing.

Two rather peculiar tales of farmers making terrible decisions popped up in the news this past week. In India, a man who had recently acquired $5,000 in a property sale decided to keep the money a secret from his family by burying it on his land. The strange scheme quickly went south as he first forgot where he hid the cash after a few months. Then, when it finally surfaced after monsoon season, the bills were discovered destroyed by termites. Later in the week, a Chinese farmer who had grown fond of relying on an AI chatbot for insights to help with his work made a grave error when he blindly followed an incorrect weedkiller recipe he received and subsequently wiped out a staggering 25 acres of crops.
