Tim McGraw Tumbles Backward On Stage While Performing 'I Like It, I Love It'

Tim McGraw took a tumble during his concert on Thursday night (August 27) at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

McGraw, 59, arrived late on the amphitheater stage. He appeared about 40 minutes after his scheduled time because of travel- and weather-related issues. McGraw exclaimed as he greeted the crowd, “I made it!”

Videos recorded by concertgoers circulated on social media after McGraw fell on stage. McGraw stumbled during his performance of his 1995 anthem, “I Like It, I Love It,” and tumbled backward. The 2026 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee quickly recovered, seemingly laughing it off as he said “there’s a hole there!” McGraw, who’s recovered from onstage falls before, continued his set with more carer-spanning hits.

McGraw is currently on his “Pawn Shop Guitar Tour.” His next performance is slated for Pine Knob Music Theatre on Friday (August 28) in Clarkston, Michigan. Additional shows and appearances are set for Colorado, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Florida and more. Later this year, McGraw will return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, playing a limited five-show run spanning from late October to early November. His final performance of 2026 is listed at Hondo Rodeo in Phoenix, Arizona.
