hell of a job because there was plays all over
the field. It seemed like it was brock Bower's lid. Mcconky.
I mean, guys running wide open. So credit George Man.
They are the top of college football and it's not
even close. Yeah, that was unfortunate because there was a

point where Max Duggans scored and it's like, okay. There
was kind of this feeling of all right, at least
we're gonna get a game. That mad what ten seven?
Yeah it was ten seven. It was like, okay, at
least we're gonna get a game. And you're thinking to yourself,

it wasting in a wrong direction, but at least now
we're gonna get some sort of a competitive game here

in the National Championship. And there was this buzz there
and TCU fans who are just by the way, they
were sipping and ripping. They were having a good time,
and then you fast forward like another ten minutes later
and it's just, oh, that's it, Like I think, Like
I I even looked at Brady, I was like, yeah,
I think that's game. It's just this feeling like that

that's gonna go ahead and do it, and then the
college football season is gone, just like that. Where you
guys want where you guys want the field at any point. Yeah,
I was obviously before the game that I refused to
be There was plenty of offers to have me on
the field. I decided to reject those offers. Plenty of offers.
Why would you not go on the field. I mean,
I just you know, I I don't want to be
the center of attention. I want the the athletes to

get the attention. And I felt like my being there,
which would steer, you know, people's eyes away from jon

In social settings, I always enjoy watching Jonas and just
how he interacts with people. I just hang out, man,

get a sense of a lot of TCU fans. They're
like kind of making the comments, hey, house money, glad
we're here, like they kind of felt happy to be there.
And I thought that's how the performance turned out like
they seemed like they were just happy to be there

as opposed to expecting to win or having a chance
to compete. And that's what stood out to me. And
you could feel that before the game too, is like
Georgia knew what it took, they won it last year.
They're on a mission and tc was like, Wow, it's
great to be here. Max Max doug as a rock
star though they love him in TCU. When when they

when they threw him up on the screen before the game,
before the national anthem and all that, that place went nuts.
So they love Max dug And unfortunately just not a
lot going on there with Max Duggan last night and
and stets it Bennett. Look, LaVar, you saw him up
in a close in person, played played well again last
night and maybe the game of his career. And now

I don't know what that does stand moving forward. Let
me ask you this, LaVar College Football of Fame. What
do you think, oh man, I mean, two times national champion?
Was he a unanimous All American? Yeah? And so well,
I don't even know if you have. I don't think

and went to Juco Juco School to play and show
he could play, came back to Georgia to eventually win
the job and win two national championships. But I mean,

he's literally saved the best for last. It's been pretty remarkable. Yeah,
I mean and big moments he plays well. So how

over his head. Actually, yeah you see that, Yes, I did. Yeah, yeah.
It was just disgusting. But it was a win and
it paid out. And then there was some some concern about,
all right, well, you're gonna lose the prop if he
gets sacked. And then once he cleared, uh, there was

another run that he made. Once that happened, you were in.
It was over. There's nothing better than clearing a prop
bet within the first five minutes of the game. Is
there a better Is there a better feeling than that? Yeah?
But then it's like it's like opening up your Christmas
gifts on December eighteen. It's like, now, one, I'm still
not a nice gift on on Christmas. Yeah, well no,

but the problem is your best gift you already opened up.

now you've got to sit through the rest of the

because you're not losing your gifts on Christmas potentially, I mean,

to have here. We're going I want to give LaVar
the opportunity to go ahead and apologize for what he
said yesterday on the show, because yesterday on the show,
LaVar pounded the table literally and said there's no way

in hell that Cliff Kingsbury's getting fired, right, I mean,
he went like full throttle pounded the table and said,
there's not a shot in hell Cliff Kingsbury gets fired.
In fact, the fact that there that they haven't announced
it yet, that's a sign and an indication to me
that Michael Bidwell, the owner, has not made his decision.
So LaVar, I just wanted to get your thoughts on

the news Cliffs Kingsbury being fired or was that me
that said that. I believe that was you that did
say that. Um, I finally got that one. They didn't
even did they even get to the meeting in the afternoon.
Did the afternoon meeting they did? Because this got announced
I think last night during the National Championship game, right,
I think I thought it came out out earlier. Yeah,

Kingsbury get paid from Arizona? I mean, I don't know

you know, this was just an interesting boy. This all
worked out, and it's it's crazy to me how in
the NFL, one bad season can mean the end of
your career. There it can look like you're on the
right linear trajectory, right what they start off as like

a five win season, in eight wins and eleven wins
and you have one bad season. Third most guys and
I are a bunch of guys hurt miss I mean, DeAndre,
how was your best player? Arguably missing time and what
he missed eight games this season? It's like, but yeah,
you're expected to win. I don't know. I mean maybe

we talked about NFL teams. We said, well, everyone's battle injuries,
everyone's you know, bad. It's like, no, they're not, not
to this extent. And also their schedule. We talked about
it and just start the year was brutal, so like
all of that, and then but I do I wonder
if it was more the the interactions with Kyler that
were caught in television. Yeah, you think like there that
had to be more and more to it. I just

think the whole entirety of that relationship dynamic is what
played out. You know. I think that it's the way
they handled their business and losing, you know, just then
seeing like Kingsbury had the control that that was necessary,

you know, for them to get through some of the
things they were seemingly going through, like the whole contract situation. Now,
I don't think he had anything to do with that
in terms of how it was, you know, the whole
you know, limit on game time and stuff like that
for video games and stuff like that. But I just
you know, by the way, the fact that that's a

real thing, it's just that where is that where they
started to go wrong? Is that where is that's where
it started to go wrong? The video game close but
even even the offseason, just how Kyler Murray, you know,
kind of he scrubbed his social media, he was showing

that there were cracks and what was going on. I
just wonder how deep that goes with Kyler Murray, Like
is there is there a thing where he has a
lot of power and that that organization and over influence
of decision makers, like what because it just seems like
this is based off of is it going to be

Kyler Murray's team? And if it's going to be his team,
it's not going to be through Cliff Cliff Kingsbury. That's
what it kind of to me, is what it said
in terms of why they would have gotten rid of,
you know, Kingsbury when they did. So. I don't know
that they're going to move on from from Kyler, but
maybe they do. And if they do, then that means

that you're all together your whole selling basically what you
have right now, You've got to rebuild your team. So
I mean that's a really really big move to get
rid of Kingsbury and and honestly to get rid of
your GM at the same time. I mean that's a
really really big move for this organization. I mean I
talked about it yesterday. I said, I could go one

of two ways. You either look at the fact of
where your roster is and the in the situation with
Steve Kim and what happened this season, and you say
I'm just gonna take out, take out the eraser, just
wipe this whole thing cling because because you can't turn
the roster over, and you literally can figure this thing
out with a new general manager, new head coach if

you want. But I still think they have good people
within their front office. I mean that's the tough thing
about going and hiring a new general manager is they
might want to bring in their own people. You know,
guys like Adrian Wilson do a hell of a job.
They might end up being demoted, They could end up,
you know, being pushed out because you get a general
manager wants his own guy in there, his own tenants.

So I can see why Michael Bidwell would want to
do it at this point in time. I just think
this is where when you're an owner and you don't
stay the course. Now, at what three or four or
five years down the line, you're looking for this team
to actually be competitive again. I mean, do you think
maybe he makes a call says hey, Lincoln Riley, what

do you say? No? I mean if he's got to
make it work with with Kyler Murray because he's invested
that the money's and E's invested in him, like the theory.
But like you kind of already did that once who
was an advocate? I mean, fool me once, shame on
you twice. That's a great point. Can we run with that, Lee?

quote that and send that out, that's a that's a
great point. Um. I just I wonder though, what the
how attractive the job is, because if you're a coach,
like you have to come in and tell Kyler Murray, like, hey, dude,
put down the Nintendo Power glove, getting the getting the
playbook and let's try and work work on something. Because

the reason he was you know, drafted by Arizona and
the reason that whole pairing even existed is because they
thought that that was the perfect coach quarterback combination. So
now that didn't work apparently, even though you know, it
was felt like it was on the way to working
before this season and the injuries and all that stuff

that you laid out. So then who's who's the ideal
coach there? I mean, if Kyler Murray can't handle some
of the conversations and hard discussions that have been had
there in the past couple of years with people that
were brought in there to help groom him and make
him an NFL quarterback, what if Sean Payton rolls in
there and and says, no, no no, no, no, we're doing
it this way. Kyler Murray is going to get a

red ass again, and what he's not for long there
in Arizona. It just feels like they're in a tough
spot that they they're going with Kyler moving forward, But
what are those conversations going to be? Like? I mean,
that's the thing, is the way we're talking about. It's
like Kyle's the problem. I Mean, he's the only one
that survives all this, right, everyone gets a new deal.
You get a deal, You get a deal you get
a deal and then everyone gets fired, but Kyler is

the only one there and you think he's the biggest
pain point of whoever the next head coach and general
manager is Like, isn't that kind of telling of something? Okay?
You got so LaVar. You called the Browns Lions game
last year, and I remember we were talking about it
on the air, and you got a vibe that things
weren't all that great with Baker Mayfield and the rest

of the team, the organization, like just you know, you
felt like there was some there was some stuff going
on there. And as it turns out, he's no longer
Cleveland Brown and you move on. Britty, You called Arizona
is what cliffs second to last game as head coach?
Did you get a vibe that there was something going
on there? Uh? Yeah, obviously, I mean you could kind

of tell based on the coaching staff who you know,
talking to him before the game, like those they didn't
know what they were like, well sup, we'll beer next year.
Like it was that sort of vibe. But I also
think you know, when you get to that point, coaches
a lot of times realized when you were talking to
a guy who's calling the game, like they want to
kind of help paint the picture of the struggles they've

been through and why they should stay or what they've
been dealing with. Um. When I talked to Michael Bidwell,
you know, I got the sense things are definitely up
in the air. And I don't know that had they
won the last two games, it would have made a difference.
I mean, it's it's hard to think that it wouldn't
have helped. And you couldn't have made the case that, hey,
they're still playing for him. You've got a fourth string

quarterback who has come in there, he's winning with him.
You could have made those cases. It was just an
uphill battle though, you know, back to back weeks on
the road to finish. And not that they couldn't beat Atlanta.
That was a close game, but San Francisco, I mean,
come on, they weren't beating in San France. Yeah. So,
uh so that's a wrap on Cliff Kingsbury's time with
the Arizona Cardinals. But so where is he gonna go?

Where you guys think he's going, well, but he's just
gonna sit back, sit back for next three or four years.
We we threw this out yesterday on the show, and
that was, you know, hijacked I saw from Brady's buddy
dan Orlovsky. What about what about Kingsbury, his offensive coordinator
for the Patriots. I mean, listen, we talked about that yesterday.
We we brought that up on this show yesterday, so

that that could be an interesting pairing. I mean, Bill
Belichick's back, maybe Cliff Kingsbury wants to come back, or
maybe he just takes a year off. He's got the money.
I mean, it's not like he's he's got to be
in a hurry. He could take a little bit of
time off. I mean, I just yeah, I don't know
what the what the options would be though, man, I mean, LaVar,
you coach like you guys are wired a certain way,
Like I feel like it's hard to take time off coaching.

I mean, are there let's what's what's out there at
the college level right now? Well that's the thing though
about like Kingsbury, wherever he goes next, Like, I mean,
I don't think he's looking at a head job like
those have mostly been filled now, so you have to
be going o C. And I think if he's gonna
be an OC, someone will probably hire him in the NFL.

I mean, it's not like his offices offenses can't produce
or he isn't creative, it doesn't have stuff. So I
don't know. I mean, I'm not sure. I think an
NFL C would be what he's looking for. But again,
like do you want to do that and potentially, you know,
risk some of the conversation receiving from a team you
get fired. It like like, I'm gonna sit down and
think about that for a year or something. Right, And

here's here's the other thing I'll say is depending on
a break up with the team, you know, you get
some head coaches who are like, no, no, no no, no,
I'm not working And if I do, I'm gonna consult
for free because I want that owner to pay me
every damn cent from I Just I think there's there's

coaches who do that when they get fired. You know,
they wait for that big check to come in on
Christmas Day. There's some coaches to do that. I'm saying,

if it's a sixteen ounce or it's not that ridiculous
or twenty, but for twelve that's a that's a real

how many you do they know how many ounces those

First of all, there were people walking in drinking beers,
like they were sitting in their car and they were
ripping beers. It's the same thing with I got there
about four hours before the game and I pulled up parked.
There is a truck with some TCU fans in it
and they were just sitting there truck boozing, and then

they were taking pictures outside next to the little reflection
pool whatever it is. This is awesome. Yeah, they were
they like tailgated anyway pretty much. I mean it's that
was like in essence. I mean, honestly, the weather was
so bad you really couldn't have tailgated. As it was.
I will say that there were some cool events and
stuff around, like inside the stadium, so that was kind

of nice. Speak in the bad weather. Did you see
anybody gets stretchered out of there, slipping and slidding all
because of the rain coming through the It did rain
pretty heavy from about the second half or from about
the second quarter on, and there were it was a
little treacherous there because there were some people that didn't
know where they are. I mean, what's the point of

the roof if it doesn't actually repel the water? Yeah,
well it's you know, they've got that open air and
I this is my first time there and I'm looking
around going so it's just just like a canopy, like
a like a giant gazebo. Is that what we got it?
It's just a giant gazebo with a field thrown in
the middle of it. That's not the issue. There was
literally water coming in through it. It wasn't the coming

from the open ends. It was coming from the roof.
And so we like there's people sitting out there's just

I don't know what the construct is of that roof,
but somebody's to check that out. Maybe there's a couple
of tents. I see a lot of tents around the

hell of a job because there was plays all over
the field. It seemed like it was brock Bower's lid. Mcconky.
I mean, guys running wide open. So credit George Man.
They are the top of college football and it's not
even close. Yeah, that was unfortunate because there was a

point where Max Duggans scored and it's like, okay. There
was kind of this feeling of all right, at least
we're gonna get a game. That mad what ten seven?
Yeah it was ten seven. It was like, okay, at
least we're gonna get a game. And you're thinking to yourself,
you know this that find, you know, it seemed like
it wasting in a wrong direction, but at least now
we're gonna get some sort of a competitive game here

in the National Championship. And there was this buzz there
and TCU fans who are just by the way, they
were sipping and ripping. They were having a good time,
and then you fast forward like another ten minutes later
and it's just, oh, that's it, Like I think, Like
I I even looked at Brady, I was like, yeah,
I think that's game. It's just this feeling like that

that's gonna go ahead and do it, and then the
college football season is gone, just like that. Where you
guys want where you guys want the field at any point. Yeah,
I was obviously before the game that I refused to
be There was plenty of offers to have me on
the field. I decided to reject those offers. Plenty of offers.
Why would you not go on the field. I mean,
I just you know, I I don't want to be
the center of attention. I want the the athletes to

get the attention. And I felt like my being there,
which would steer, you know, people's eyes away from jon

In social settings, I always enjoy watching Jonas and just
how he interacts with people. I just hang out, man,

like how a vampire looks in public, That's what Jonas
looks like, the best comple But I've ever got on

they were down thirty eight seven a half time. Right,
you're the last team to come back and win a
margin that margin of the deficit, okay, was it? Was it?

stadium were hold on hope. They're like, well, look we've
seen tc you do it again. Let's just hang around.
These horn frogs will come back you. Let's make the
greatest come back we've ever seen. Yeah, it's I mean racist,
keep me out. I mean what we can't say horn
frog that's gonna that's gonna insult some people or offend

people here. I mean, this is ridiculous. I I just
sound like Georgia fans man. Well, I mean I did
get a sense of a lot of TCU fans. They're
like kind of making the comments, hey, house money, glad
we're here, like they kind of felt happy to be there.
And I thought that's how the performance turned out like
they seemed like they were just happy to be there

as opposed to expecting to win or having a chance
to compete. And that's what stood out to me. And
you could feel that before the game too, is like
Georgia knew what it took, they won it last year.
They're on a mission and tc was like, Wow, it's
great to be here. Max Max doug as a rock
star though they love him in TCU. When when they

when they threw him up on the screen before the game,
before the national anthem and all that, that place went nuts.
So they love Max dug And unfortunately just not a
lot going on there with Max Duggan last night and
and stets it Bennett. Look, LaVar, you saw him up
in a close in person, played played well again last
night and maybe the game of his career. And now

I don't know what that does stand moving forward. Let
me ask you this, LaVar College Football of Fame. What
do you think, oh man, I mean, two times national champion?
Was he a unanimous All American? Yeah? And so well,
I don't even know if you have. I don't think

a shot after winning two national championships, playing arguably as
good as any quarterback has played on those stages. Like
that's the one thing I think you can take away
from his performance too, is say whatever you want, Like

was a former walk on, went to Georgia, he left
and went to Juco Juco School to play and show
he could play, came back to Georgia to eventually win
the job and win two national championships. But I mean,
he accounted for what six touchdowns last night? He's right, Yeah,
he's played his best football in both the semifinal National

championship games. If you look at his look at his career,
he's literally saved the best for last. It's been pretty remarkable. Yeah,
I mean and big moments he plays well. So how
much of that While I was talking about college football
all the fame, Well, you know, just ye were there
with Reggs last night and got Ann got in. Yeah,

we were toasting. Really, I mean, it's that's a nice class.
That's a nice class got into. Well, he's got some
other issues you want on right now. I mean, I
mean now coming out by the way, more and more details,
somebody gets to think, uh, to be the fall gut.

that's attached to all that good stuff. Um, all right,

rooting interest here. And then hurricane Brady comes in and

you know, like there's a waiter in there. He takes
the tray out of the waiter's hand starts banging it
over his head. Actually, yeah you see that, Yes, I did. Yeah, yeah.
It was just disgusting. But it was a win and
it paid out. And then there was some some concern about,
all right, well, you're gonna lose the prop if he
gets sacked. And then once he cleared, uh, there was

another run that he made. Once that happened, you were in.
It was over. There's nothing better than clearing a prop
bet within the first five minutes of the game. Is
there a better Is there a better feeling than that? Yeah?
But then it's like it's like opening up your Christmas
gifts on December eighteen. It's like, now, one, I'm still
not a nice gift on on Christmas. Yeah, well no,

to have here. We're going I want to give LaVar
the opportunity to go ahead and apologize for what he
said yesterday on the show, because yesterday on the show,
LaVar pounded the table literally and said there's no way

in hell that Cliff Kingsbury's getting fired, right, I mean,
he went like full throttle pounded the table and said,
there's not a shot in hell Cliff Kingsbury gets fired.
In fact, the fact that there that they haven't announced
it yet, that's a sign and an indication to me
that Michael Bidwell, the owner, has not made his decision.
So LaVar, I just wanted to get your thoughts on

the news Cliffs Kingsbury being fired or was that me
that said that. I believe that was you that did
say that. Um, I finally got that one. They didn't
even did they even get to the meeting in the afternoon.
Did the afternoon meeting they did? Because this got announced
I think last night during the National Championship game, right,
I think I thought it came out out earlier. Yeah,

did it come out earlier? Steve Kim was gonna be
gone and then step down? They said, Steve Kim stepped down? Yeah? Yeah,
Which so how much? How much? How much longer does
Kingsbury get paid from Arizona? I mean, I don't know
the details of the contract. If there's offsets where if

he went and took a job elsewhere, you know, he
would be you know, forfeitings some of that conversation. But
you know, this was just an interesting boy. This all
worked out, and it's it's crazy to me how in
the NFL, one bad season can mean the end of
your career. There it can look like you're on the
right linear trajectory, right what they start off as like

a five win season, in eight wins and eleven wins
and you have one bad season. Third most guys and
I are a bunch of guys hurt miss I mean, DeAndre,
how was your best player? Arguably missing time and what
he missed eight games this season? It's like, but yeah,
you're expected to win. I don't know. I mean maybe

we talked about NFL teams. We said, well, everyone's battle injuries,
everyone's you know, bad. It's like, no, they're not, not
to this extent. And also their schedule. We talked about
it and just start the year was brutal, so like
all of that, and then but I do I wonder
if it was more the the interactions with Kyler that
were caught in television. Yeah, you think like there that
had to be more and more to it. I just

think the whole entirety of that relationship dynamic is what
played out. You know. I think that it's the way
they handled their business and losing, you know, just then
seeing like Kingsbury had the control that that was necessary,

you know, for them to get through some of the
things they were seemingly going through, like the whole contract situation. Now,
I don't think he had anything to do with that
in terms of how it was, you know, the whole
you know, limit on game time and stuff like that
for video games and stuff like that. But I just
you know, by the way, the fact that that's a

real thing, it's just that where is that where they
started to go wrong? Is that where is that's where
it started to go wrong? The video game close but
even even the offseason, just how Kyler Murray, you know,
kind of he scrubbed his social media, he was showing
(20:41):
that there were cracks and what was going on. I
just wonder how deep that goes with Kyler Murray, Like
is there is there a thing where he has a
lot of power and that that organization and over influence
of decision makers, like what because it just seems like
this is based off of is it going to be

Kyler Murray's team? And if it's going to be his team,
it's not going to be through Cliff Cliff Kingsbury. That's
what it kind of to me, is what it said
in terms of why they would have gotten rid of,
you know, Kingsbury when they did. So. I don't know
that they're going to move on from from Kyler, but
maybe they do. And if they do, then that means

that you're all together your whole selling basically what you
have right now, You've got to rebuild your team. So
I mean that's a really really big move to get
rid of Kingsbury and and honestly to get rid of
your GM at the same time. I mean that's a
really really big move for this organization. I mean I
talked about it yesterday. I said, I could go one

of two ways. You either look at the fact of
where your roster is and the in the situation with
Steve Kim and what happened this season, and you say
I'm just gonna take out, take out the eraser, just
wipe this whole thing cling because because you can't turn
the roster over, and you literally can figure this thing
out with a new general manager, new head coach if
(22:06):
you want. But I still think they have good people
within their front office. I mean that's the tough thing
about going and hiring a new general manager is they
might want to bring in their own people. You know,
guys like Adrian Wilson do a hell of a job.
They might end up being demoted, They could end up,
you know, being pushed out because you get a general
manager wants his own guy in there, his own tenants.

So I can see why Michael Bidwell would want to
do it at this point in time. I just think
this is where when you're an owner and you don't
stay the course. Now, at what three or four or
five years down the line, you're looking for this team
to actually be competitive again. I mean, do you think
maybe he makes a call says hey, Lincoln Riley, what
(22:51):
do you say? No? I mean if he's got to
make it work with with Kyler Murray because he's invested
that the money's and E's invested in him, like the theory.
But like you kind of already did that once who
was an advocate? I mean, fool me once, shame on
you twice. That's a great point. Can we run with that, Lee?

how attractive the job is, because if you're a coach,
like you have to come in and tell Kyler Murray, like, hey, dude,
put down the Nintendo Power glove, getting the getting the
playbook and let's try and work work on something. Because

the reason he was you know, drafted by Arizona and
the reason that whole pairing even existed is because they
thought that that was the perfect coach quarterback combination. So
now that didn't work apparently, even though you know, it
was felt like it was on the way to working
before this season and the injuries and all that stuff
(23:54):
that you laid out. So then who's who's the ideal
coach there? I mean, if Kyler Murray can't handle some
of the conversations and hard discussions that have been had
there in the past couple of years with people that
were brought in there to help groom him and make
him an NFL quarterback, what if Sean Payton rolls in
there and and says, no, no no, no, no, we're doing
it this way. Kyler Murray is going to get a
(24:16):
red ass again, and what he's not for long there
in Arizona. It just feels like they're in a tough
spot that they they're going with Kyler moving forward, But
what are those conversations going to be? Like? I mean,
that's the thing, is the way we're talking about. It's
like Kyle's the problem. I Mean, he's the only one
that survives all this, right, everyone gets a new deal.
You get a deal, You get a deal you get
a deal and then everyone gets fired, but Kyler is

the only one there and you think he's the biggest
pain point of whoever the next head coach and general
manager is Like, isn't that kind of telling of something? Okay?
You got so LaVar. You called the Browns Lions game
last year, and I remember we were talking about it
on the air, and you got a vibe that things
weren't all that great with Baker Mayfield and the rest

of the team, the organization, like just you know, you
felt like there was some there was some stuff going
on there. And as it turns out, he's no longer
Cleveland Brown and you move on. Britty, You called Arizona
is what cliffs second to last game as head coach?
Did you get a vibe that there was something going
on there? Uh? Yeah, obviously, I mean you could kind

of tell based on the coaching staff who you know,
talking to him before the game, like those they didn't
know what they were like, well sup, we'll beer next year.
Like it was that sort of vibe. But I also
think you know, when you get to that point, coaches
a lot of times realized when you were talking to
a guy who's calling the game, like they want to
kind of help paint the picture of the struggles they've

been through and why they should stay or what they've
been dealing with. Um. When I talked to Michael Bidwell,
you know, I got the sense things are definitely up
in the air. And I don't know that had they
won the last two games, it would have made a difference.
I mean, it's it's hard to think that it wouldn't
have helped. And you couldn't have made the case that, hey,
they're still playing for him. You've got a fourth string
(26:05):
quarterback who has come in there, he's winning with him.
You could have made those cases. It was just an
uphill battle though, you know, back to back weeks on
the road to finish. And not that they couldn't beat Atlanta.
That was a close game, but San Francisco, I mean,
come on, they weren't beating in San France. Yeah. So,
uh so that's a wrap on Cliff Kingsbury's time with
the Arizona Cardinals. But so where is he gonna go?
(26:27):
Where you guys think he's going, well, but he's just
gonna sit back, sit back for next three or four years.
We we threw this out yesterday on the show, and
that was, you know, hijacked I saw from Brady's buddy
dan Orlovsky. What about what about Kingsbury, his offensive coordinator
for the Patriots. I mean, listen, we talked about that yesterday.
We we brought that up on this show yesterday, so

that that could be an interesting pairing. I mean, Bill
Belichick's back, maybe Cliff Kingsbury wants to come back, or
maybe he just takes a year off. He's got the money.
I mean, it's not like he's he's got to be
in a hurry. He could take a little bit of
time off. I mean, I just yeah, I don't know
what the what the options would be though, man, I mean, LaVar,
you coach like you guys are wired a certain way,
Like I feel like it's hard to take time off coaching.

I mean, are there let's what's what's out there at
the college level right now? Well that's the thing though
about like Kingsbury, wherever he goes next, Like, I mean,
I don't think he's looking at a head job like
those have mostly been filled now, so you have to
be going o C. And I think if he's gonna
be an OC, someone will probably hire him in the NFL.

I mean, it's not like his offices offenses can't produce
or he isn't creative, it doesn't have stuff. So I
don't know. I mean, I'm not sure. I think an
NFL C would be what he's looking for. But again,
like do you want to do that and potentially, you know,
risk some of the conversation receiving from a team you
get fired. It like like, I'm gonna sit down and
think about that for a year or something. Right, And

here's here's the other thing I'll say is depending on
a break up with the team, you know, you get
some head coaches who are like, no, no, no no, no,
I'm not working And if I do, I'm gonna consult
for free because I want that owner to pay me
every damn cent from I Just I think there's there's

coaches who do that when they get fired. You know,
they wait for that big check to come in on
Christmas Day. There's some coaches to do that. I'm saying,

how many you do they know how many ounces those

First of all, there were people walking in drinking beers,

There is a truck with some TCU fans in it
and they were just sitting there truck boozing, and then

they were taking pictures outside next to the little reflection
pool whatever it is. This is awesome. Yeah, they were
they like tailgated anyway pretty much. I mean it's that
was like in essence. I mean, honestly, the weather was
so bad you really couldn't have tailgated. As it was.
I will say that there were some cool events and
stuff around, like inside the stadium, so that was kind

of nice. Speak in the bad weather. Did you see
anybody gets stretchered out of there, slipping and slidding all
because of the rain coming through the It did rain
pretty heavy from about the second half or from about
the second quarter on, and there were it was a
little treacherous there because there were some people that didn't
know where they are. I mean, what's the point of

the roof if it doesn't actually repel the water? Yeah,
well it's you know, they've got that open air and
I this is my first time there and I'm looking
around going so it's just just like a canopy, like
a like a giant gazebo. Is that what we got it?
It's just a giant gazebo with a field thrown in
the middle of it. That's not the issue. There was
literally water coming in through it. It wasn't the coming

from the open ends. It was coming from the roof.
And so we like there's people sitting out there's just
