Speaker 1 (00:01):
Is the best of two pros and a couple of
Joe with Lamar Areans, Rady, Quinn, and Jonas knocks on
Fox four Radio. Just to start off, it's just so unfair.
It really is a fair. Roferta just knifes us and
then we can't fight back because we go on the air.

(00:23):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe's least
stealing coffee next to two cops, next two cops in
the building. At least stealing coffee from another. He's taking
coffee from the sleep number of station here a radio row.
Well technically he has his own, his own coffee, just

(00:43):
doing something legally looking back at the cops. Definitely, he's
definitely in the right right outside from where he's at.
They have a cured machine, which is what he's using. Yeah,
they literally have one for everyone to use right outside
that sleep that's to trade music. Is so fitting right now,
right over there, it is two pros and a cup

(01:07):
of Joe. Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
knocks with here. You can hang out with us as
always on the I Heart Radio app, and you can
find us on hundreds of affiliates all across the country
and wherever the hell you are making us a part
of your Wednesday morning. We appreciate you doing so. We're
gonna take you all the way up until nine am
Eastern times, six o'clock Pacific. We are live from Radio
Row at the Super Bowl in Arizona, and of course

(01:30):
we do this show live from the tire rack dot
Com studios tirac dot com. We'll help you get there
and unmatched election fast free shipping, free road has a
protection and over ten thousand recommended installers tirac dot com
the way tire buying should be. Yeah, I just want
to like smash someone's school. And when I hear that, yeah, hey,

(01:52):
Lebron James, he smashed it. Yeahd yeah, Lebron James, your
brand new scoring champ being everybody. And it was a
big celebration last night for the Lakers and Lebron James
and a big win for the Lake. Oh no, they
stole as point being. Lebron broke the record. That's really

(02:12):
all that matters at this point in time. He's the
all time scoring leader in NBA history. Eight for a
guy who had all that hype coming into his career,
surpassed all of it, and so we bust balls and
tease him, and you know, Laker fans get upset about it,
but fact remains an incredible career and he's we got

(02:33):
a brand new scoring champions He surpassed his Kareem Abdul Jabbar,
who was on hand. I'm happy for him, man, I
really am. And I think you said the best Jonas
like every single step of his career. I mean, he
hasn't gotten trouble, he hasn't had a bunch of stuff
out there. I think the most controversial decision he ever

(02:55):
made was the decision where he decided, after raising millions
of dollars for charity, to go to Miami. And I
think if he just phrases it different, he's probably not
getting any flak for that either. Um, he learned how
to win there. He came back to Cleveland, won a championship,
He goes to l A, wins a championship, or as
you say, half of one and everyone of you he

(03:20):
has been. Arguably he not Jordan's right, and then no
one will ever be Jordan's. But he's right there after
that as far as to me, at least, not granted
he was you know, my my year in high school
and all that, and he uh still remember we were
trying to recruit to play in that SAWM the All
American Game. He was so good, like he played his
junior year, but he never didn't play football a senior

(03:41):
year because it was too much of a risk. And
I remember remember Tom Lemming. Tom Lemming was like, oh,
you have a calling Lebron. We're thinking he might he
might just show up, get ready to throw past the
Lebron James. And I was like, this dude is out
of his mind. But he, Uh, he's been incredible. I
think I personally think he's the greatest i'll say athlete

(04:02):
that the NBA has ever seen. I mean, it's hard
to take anything away from what he he did. Kareem
Abdul Jabbar set the bar so high in terms of scoring,
like that was that was a record that probably people
felt like would never fall ever, Like there's no way

(04:23):
anyone would get to that that amount of points. So
to that, I mean, he's the best. He has He
has earned the statistical the statistical category that probably matters
the most out of anything, which is scoring. And he's
never been considered a score round player. But yet now

(04:45):
he's the scoring champion. I heard a stat only eight
times in his career has he not scored double digits
in a game. Think about that, and in twenty years,
twenty plus years, eight times his entire career he hasn't
reached ten points. And that's you gotta give him as
flowers today. Like, like you said, cute, a lot of

(05:05):
people may have things to say one way or the
other the whole shut up and dribble or the decision
or whatever it may be about only reading the first
page of a buck. That's right up there with I'm like,
come on, man, I mean, when you're when you're to
the level that Lebron James is an influencer, Everybody's going
to have something to say about you. I mean that's

(05:27):
just what comes along with the nature of the beast
of where we are with with you know, how quickly
media gets out. But you know, and in some regards
you have to assume and we always you know, I
think it's a it's such an honor in itself too,
when when you talk about Lebron, you're gonna bring up
Michael Jordan's like people are going to bring them up, um,

(05:49):
because it's always the comparison and the gauge in the
brometer first and foremost, whether you you fall on the
side of him being better or Mike being better, it's
still a debate. It's it was something that's worth worth
bringing up, which in itself is crazy. Um, but the
idea that Lebron James has has done it in an

(06:09):
era where I would say it's the most difficult era
to stay focused. It's the most difficult era to to
achieve because things are moving so fast, development is so
different than what it's ever been. And that's something to
be said that that Lebron James has really been uh

(06:29):
an anomaly of sorts, because there's there's no there's no
way of understanding, you know, how he's been able to
be the type of player that he's been for as
long as he as he's been. You know, it's crazy,
but he's never had that, you know, season ending injury.
I mean, look at the way he's built though you don't.
Heard someone say the other day and that that's kind

(06:50):
of where I said, the athlete. I don't know that
we've ever seen a basketball player built and look and
and be like him. Someone brought this up the other
day though that I said, like, what's his go to shot?
Like I kind of you kind of can go through
some of the greatest scores like Kareem obviously the shot
or whatever, you know, Jordan's like it was like almost

(07:12):
like a turnaround. Um Navitsky who was it was up there?
Probably amost that group had that step back. So so
here's let me give you a list of guys. And
by the way, I don't know that Lebron has that
signature shot, which is like an interesting point. Someone else
brought that up. You can't remember who, but it is
interesting if you sit there and think about it, you're like, oh, yeah,
even Harden's got to step back. That's what he's known for.

(07:35):
Lebron as as the all time leading score, and I
don't maybe that's a good thing because he's so versatile
that he doesn't need to have a a one one
shot that he's known for. But it is kind of
interesting that I don't know that you you think about
any particular part of his game ago that's it as
a score, but he but he can do it all.
Let me give you a list of the guys who

(07:55):
are still active who you could maybe say would have
a shot at catching it, and I don't know if
anyone does, because Lebron's what thirty eight turning thirty nine,
He's got what thirty eight thousand, three ninety points? Now,
so the next act, next active player that's close, and
I don't think it's a shot as Carmelo Anthony he's
at he's ten thousand lass no same draft class too.

(08:18):
But and if you were to ask anybody better score
Carmelo or Lebron, everybody would say Carmelo a prolific score.
But I don't know, like as far as better better
score in college Carmelo or Lebron. That's a great Carmelo Carmelo,
But I would put Jerry McNamara ahead of both of them.

(08:38):
But again, you know we're splitting Harrison here. Well i'll
put the guttlieb in front of all over. Um. So
so the next active player that has a shot, and
it's not much of one, I don't think is Kevin Durant.
Now he's four years younger, six thousand, six, four twelve
th that all right, I'll keep going, Um, he doesn't

(09:01):
play enough. James Harden no chance, thirty three and he's
fourteen thousand points away from it, uh didn't. The right
below him is Russell Westbrook, which I don't think there's
a shot, no chance. Um. The only one that's kind
of interesting is Steph Curry. Where is he? He's way
behind twenty one thousand points and now he is thirty three,

(09:25):
I believe. But he'd have to play for thirty four actually,
so he had to play at least for six seven
more years and Lebron would have to retire now. Yeah,
And and Lebron's got at least a couple of more
years he wants to play with. Yeah, he wants to
play with his son, So he's gonna be He'll be
at forty probably, So the idea, yeah, it's it's one

(09:45):
of those records probably, That's what I say. I don't
think we're gonna we're gonna see someone in our lifetime
maybe beat but he beat it. Never. It's gonna take
a solid two decades of scoring to get there. And
I don't know that. Maybe you'd say Luca, who's even
on the top forty of that list obviously at this point,
maybe he's a guy you look at and say, how's
Lucan now? But but health body wise, you know, there's

(10:10):
been some questions about Oh, he likes to he likes
to lick the lid a little bit, you know, likes
to get after and have a couple of lit Yeah,
that in the elbow the lid. Yeah, you are funny,
blue up your liver. Have you ever heard that before?
A couple of throat bombs? Because I don't even know
if there's a lid when you drink. What's the lid?
Could you just say that a couple of throat bombs?

(10:32):
That allowed you mean throw bomb. It's like ripping a beer.
See that. This is the problem. You guys are from California.
You don't get it. In the Midwest. That's how we talk.
But again, not everybody's from the Midwest. It's funny. I'm
just telling you, man, are you to get away with that?
What are you talking about? Throat bombs? First of all,
talk about beer, all right, I'm not talking about I've

(10:54):
gotten dumb for for far less far. I wasn't talking
about anything but what I was talking about. But look
at Leo happy over there. You got away from the
cops and store coffee. Sep at least he stole coffee
in front of cops. Here's the irony here's the irony.
He did catch us Sleep Number sleeping. No one's there
right now, so he was able to slide in. It's

(11:16):
a good point, takeaway, really solid point. I hope to
god they've got a camera over there and they're just
checking on who is this guy? Oh my god, you
may have just you may have just thought of a
new invention for them with a camera Sleep number can
that would be playing that back. I was coming handy
for a lot. Make your own okay, Yeah, well I'm

(11:37):
just saying it would. Yeah, you make your own entertainment.
You could definitely with the third bombs. Hey, what's up everybody?
It's me three time pro bowler Tle Warrington and I
couldn't be more excited to announce a podcast called Up

Search f s R to listen live. I drew first
Blood out and here what they called me Rambo Lamari
look lighter man good. Somebody's got to uh bake the loafs,

(12:46):
you know what I mean, somebody's somebody's got to provide.
I'll tell you what. The lives are very clean right now.
But I drew first blood today. This car be as
brutal that bas rocket fuel for real. Yeah, I got

(13:06):
the Colombian kind. This is that straight from a toilet
and medine. You get that leave And I didn't realize
that's what you wrote on there. Yeah, you did write
it on there there. It was hard because it's got
the wavy the way it looks, it looks kind of
artsy though. It's kind of like our Burt Reynolds hotel. Yeah.
I didn't realize what I was looking at until day too.

(13:29):
I picked my eyes up. I was like, why what
the dude? I was moving stuff like creating a different
whole different layout. So fellow Burt Reynolds, that guy, impressive number,
impressive numbers, just saying with Burt Reynolds. No, just a
big fan of the Cannonball Run. Oh that's it. I

(13:52):
thought you're a big fan of It's a classic movie.
You know, Cannonball Runs a great movie. Smokey and the bandit. Yeah,
I mean listen, and you know what they probably went
to in the Cannonball Run like this is probably some
of these scenes that were not included which should have
been included. They probably went to ti Iraq, you know.
And we're bringing this show to you alive from the
Tirax Studios. Tirac dot com will help you get there

(14:13):
and unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free road has a
protection and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tirac dot com
the way tire buying should be. So you know who
else was in the Cannonball Run. Terry Bradshaw Remember that.
I remember that Terry Bradshaw was in the Cannonball Run.
And Terry Bradshaw was also speaking with nine two five
in Denver about Russell Wilson and uh well he had

(14:37):
this to say, your co order so mad at him?
Why why come up? We all saw this coming? When
did you know? When? Did you? Well? I knew maybe
perhaps uh Sean knew him. We drank beer, he drank

(15:00):
my whiskey, and uh we would talk and he'd talk
and talk and talk, and I'd say, well, you can't
go to Charlotte, that's a NFC South. Uh you can't
go to Houston. I don't have a quarterback down there.
You don't want to be in Houston. Uh Where else
could you have gone? We Arizola, Arizona. Now that quarterback.
He didn't want to work with that quarterback? I don't

(15:24):
think so. But you know what, that's all he's got.
Well he's got no choice. But I'll tell you one thing.
He'll get the most out of him. But that so
they're going to the isolation. You know who that is?

(15:46):
That's my guy, Vick Lombardi. That's my guy. Yeah, out
there in deavor. I'm covering the NFL for a thirty
something forever. He does a tremendous job. But him, my cliss,
my cliss is a great job falling the team. But
that's okay. So so let me throw this out that
you guys as a conspiracy theory. I mean, we need
the music, that's what we need with the unsolved mysteries.

(16:09):
Do we get it though? For a conspiracy theory with
another a f C West team, Robert Stack through the
fog on, so does Burt Reynolds, but he's not anything
just cowboy hat. So we heard Sean Payton right out

(16:29):
the gate set the tone and talk about how there's
not gonna be people who are outside the organization coming
in as far as Russell Wilson's team, there's not gonna
be an office and all that stuff. Out the gate,
he's saying that, making a statement to the public, putting
out there. We then hear Terry Bradshaw say this, Now

(16:51):
I'll remind you guys too, Like those guys were all close,
they worked together for this past year, this past season.
And one of the things that I think I took
away from all of this is Sean Payton was even
kind of leaving you some some bread crumps. Like like
two weeks before he was wearing an orange tie and
somebody had asked him, hey, was that maybe prophetic of

(17:14):
what was gonna happen. He's like, yeah, it was. There
was an intent behind that he's a very calculated guy.
How do you kind of put it out there that
maybe you know you're taking this job, but you're not
all about the guy who's currently there. You let other
people do it for you. Uh. I'm just saying, like
what he's savvy enough to be able to say. And

(17:36):
and by the way, we all know Terry, Terry's he's
a right, he's he's awesome, one of the best in television.
We all know people. If Terry had said it, two
people would be like, well, it's Terry. Come on, it's
Terry Bratch Like he says this crazy stuff all the time,
but maybe this time, like there's a little bit of hey, Terry, Wayne,
help me out with somebody he knew. Like that that
was a direct conversation that they had had and they

(17:58):
sounded like they had it a couple of different man.
He established the fact that he drinks his whiskey, and
when you're drinking whiskey, somebody's whiskey. That made it there
there in your colleagues, you're going to talk like he
put that light like basically, if you deciphered and read
between the lines, he said, Russ stinks. You stink, Like

(18:22):
think about it, like, but he's got no choice, like
and and and the biggest indictment of the whole thing,
what's Skyler Murray? Like, Hey, won't work with him? So
so Russ Russ is considerably the least of the evils
of the ones you don't want to work with, which

(18:44):
is great. That's how Terry Pratt so I put it.
It was weird how Terry kind of was like, oh,
you know, you go in the NFC South, you wanna
go to Carolina? Like I was like, why doesn't that
division seem right for the taking off Tom Brady's retired,
you have to worry about Tampa. Maybe he was looking
at me. It wasn't enough because maybe do a deal
with an NFC South team, But it does. This is

(19:05):
what I wonder. I wonder if Sean Payton part of
what the reason why he finally accepted the job and
took the gig is he needed an understanding from new
ownership he could get rid of us who didn't give
Russ this contract. Hey, I need to know if this
is a bag of crap in year one, that that
we can wash our hands and washing. I believe I

(19:25):
said that before. I believe I said Sean Payton coming
into Denver. You can't you can't be married to the
situation of I have to make it work with Russell Wilson.
You can't be married to that. This is this is
a golden opportunity for for Sean Payton because it's not

(19:46):
a bad team. They just weren't cohesive. It was a
very they went in the opposite direction of being a
cohesive team. Their defense was holding up for him all
year long, and their offense terrible underperformed. So if you're
looking at it from a very critical perspective, what is
the one element and the one factor that kept coming

(20:08):
up and was kept and continued to be the main
focal point of why this team performed so poorly? Is
your quarterback? Is your quarterback? And the way the games
were managed and and I fell on the head coach
as well. So those one one of those elements is
still there. And I'm totally with you on that, Like
why not put it out there, like, hey, listen, there

(20:31):
there will be no office there, your your your quarterback
coach will not be in here, your staff will not
be in here. And I needed to know before I'm
coming that if this doesn't go right, you're not basing
my job security off of the success or failures of
one Russell Wilson. To further your point on at least,

(20:53):
I think the league perception of what the issue was
there in Denver. Does nath Annual Hackett get an O
C job right away for a team that needs not
only needed someone to come in, but need someone to
come in fix Zach Wilson, you know, be able to
help them offensively, because that's the one thing they need
there in New York. It's not their defense, it was
their offensive issues. And I think if there was a

(21:16):
perception that Nathaniel Hackett was that bad as an offensive coordinator,
then he's come up. That's a great point. But he
gets picked up like great point, So it's got to
be us. I think that's has got to be right.
And and I know some people who know Nathaniel Hackett,
and there's kind of that conversation of when we get time,
we'll talk about all the stuff that went on. And

(21:36):
so clearly there's more to the story there. And I've
heard some different things too, you know, from Denver. But
I just think Sean Payton is as calculated and as
savvy as they come, and I think, you know, he's
already using the media as a tool to chop his
head off, well off with his head, but but to

(21:58):
make a statement and to kind of make sure that
everyone in Denver knows who's the head coach, who's running
that building, and and where the players reside, and that
no one's gonna be viewed. We talked about this on yesterday, like,
you're not gonna view you know, Russell different from anyone
else in this roster. That's it, Thank you us. I
don't know what's so funny Ross. Your career could be

(22:19):
in jeopardy here, pal, So I don't know what. But
at least he's got Sierra. They might make it racial,
you know what I mean? I might you know, that
might come back on me. My apologies, I get my
my apology out already. All right, my apologies. We're saying
off with your head, okay. Can I also ask this though,
when Terry bradch Has says that was a figure of speech,
he kind of had, you know, it was in a

(22:42):
child's book. You know, the queen used to stay off
with it. It wasn't this Queen of of the Hearts
quit as somewhere, Yeah, And Alice in Wonderland. Didn't she
stay off with their head? Queen of hearts? Wasn't she hard?
It is, but it's also and I believe in the
Alison wonder Land. Huh, bro you didn't no no, if

(23:02):
it wasn't the all twenty two is I wasn't interesting?
Come on? What what was your pom? Sorry? Pumping iron?
That's a great movie. I mean we're talking about great flags.
That's again. Yeah, yes, well my lemon legs like all
my arms like legs, my legs like people. Is that
that quote? Remember that they're smoking weed and they were

(23:24):
just just squatting like six they'll be Arnold Schwarzenegger in
the eighties. I mean honestly tried being his nanny. Oh god,
what just happy Father's Day? What I can't but point being,

(23:48):
if you bring it back to Sean payton Um when
Terry Bradshaw says, When Terry Bradshaw says, those were the
only options for him, Like he couldn't have just waited
another year, Like the Cowboys job will open up if
they're not if they fall short this year, that's gonna
open up. Same with the Chargers. So why was there

(24:08):
the rush to want to take one of these jobs.
If these weren't ideal situations. See, I think Dallas is
set up for dan Quinn to take over, and with
especially with them elevating because Brian Schottenheimer was already there
as an analyst, them elevating him. No. See, even though
we know McCarthy is calling the plays. I think it
sets up perfectly now for who's the scapegoat. They still

(24:32):
really can't move on from Dak so it's gonna be mikemccarthy.
And then you've got an experienced head coach who comes
in and Dan Quinn. They love him, the defense has
been great. He gives them a shot to see what
he's able to do in that role. Probably a personality. Yeah,
and you allow Brian Schottenheimer then to call plays. He's
done it forever. And I know there's Dallas Cowboys fans

(24:52):
who you know, make question whether or not he'll be
a good play caller. Um, that's up to their opinion.
But it sets up to be that for Dallas. I
think if things don't go well early on this season
with Mike McCarthy, next year, if you really think about it,
if you look at it from a critical I any
job that may come available next year is not going

(25:14):
to be as attractive as Denver if you really think
about it, Because if you're able, if indeed what we
spoke about is true, where he has the autonomy to
be able to handle the quarterback position away that he
wants to, it's a hell of a that's a that's
a hell of a landing spot. Yeah. Well in the
ownership group too, right, I mean you've got you've got resources,
and it's a great that's a great network play, right

(25:36):
beyond football. That's a hell of a network play if
you have success. And what teams you say on the
hot seats starting the next season? Obviously, I think Dallas
always gonna bet Dallas. I mean Tampa Bay. You could
probably say with top bowls if they don't do well,
Tampa Bay, I think you'd say all in the Saints.
You can say the Saints. Um, maybe you look at
Atlantic to is one, Atlanta the Jets, that's a good one.

(26:03):
Although that that feels like it would be Salah and
Joe Douglas would be out. How many how many Chargers?
The Chargers are going to be one? I mean the
Texans just because it's another year, you know, I wouldn't
say the Texas. Cleveland, Yeah, Cleveland, definitely. He's on his
last leg and they can't move on from lots of
it's too much guaranteed tied up into him. So he's

(26:26):
on his list. That's an interest. That's a curious one
because who would want that? Who would want that job?
So all right, then keep going because they're still more.
There are more. I would say Washington. Did we say Washington?
The commanders know, I don't know that Washington. I don't
know that he would be on I don't think it's
the commandos. Like we've we've consistently called that. Clean that

(26:50):
up with the podcast, I said, commanders, I want to
apologize to that one. Commandos. Can you just dub that
over commandos real quick? Say commandos will be quiet? Three
two one? What about the Washington commandos? There you go.
We we can cut that, we get splice that. If
we can get that done, then appreciate it. That's that's

(27:11):
forty three million dollar, you know, that's how much does
this yacht? By the way, Dan Snyder, millions? Pretty you
have a yacht? How much a yachts? I would not
buy a yacht. I've always said to people if there's
like one thing that I think is most valued is

(27:32):
like rich people stuff, it's private plants, like that's that's
what I feel like when you know you made it.
Let's go live to our on yachts insider lead to
laugh for the latest one hundred and eighty million dollars
for the yacht. How big is they get? Let's get
the ninety three which is about three five ft? Holy
Why is the yacht more expensive than the house the

(27:54):
lady s yacht? Think about this. If it costs a
hundred and eighty million, think about what the maintenance of
that basic that ten percent a year ten percent a
year maintenance. Yeah, you have a full time crew that
lives on it. They're constantly doing stuff that they have
to have your docking I mean, Dane. The stuff that

(28:18):
goes wrong expensive. My buddies and I bought a pontoon
boat chipped in like five bucks each, five of us.
We called it pontoons are dope, but they're awesome. But
we called it the floating coffin because it was just
a disaster and we tried to keep it up as
much as we could, and eventually it just wasn't word.
I was about to get a pontoon boat and I

(28:40):
ended up moving to l A. There's boats are probably
like the least mainten terrible power engine on that. I
mean it topped out at eighteen miles. The one I
was looking at was souped up. Yeah, it was badass.
I mean it was bad not the one showing us.

(29:00):
We get though, this is like you don't want to
take a you know, because of blue lights. Well, and
I needed a squat rack there as well too, because
it doesn't matter where I listen. You guys saw my
power Clans, Yeah, you gotta, you gotta get down a
little look more like a hand clean. Yeah, it did
look like a hand clean. Power cleans with the floor buddy, Yeah, responsible.

(29:21):
Have you figured out a joke? By the way, for
Tom Cruise Calamaria, we gave you one La la La
la la. I don't know, La la La. I don't know.
I don't know Lance gave La La La. I don't
know why I've been tasked with that, Like, why is
that's your thing? I mean, it's your thing. The visual
was sitting on a street curve, though, is the funniest

(29:43):
part of it all. It's that's like the one group
that you actually go after that. I'm always worried about
your little ras. It's a joke. Come on, what I'm saying,
like if you go after that group and you you
feel like there's no repercussion. Little true. First of all,
it's like horse j key jokes are different. Why okay,

(30:04):
what you're you're writing a stupid animals. Horses are very
smart you're talking about they let dwarfs ride on their
back and circles and and then what's their prize? They
get a bouquet of roses that somebody bought. It like
a safe way to pretend they get it out. They
don't get any of that money. They get the money.

(30:26):
What do you mean by study it out? Are you
doing serious? What happened? Why is your facing like twitching
like that? Why do you want to but try to
keep the file off your face? What happens? Yeah, I'll
put it this way for you that you understand. They
look at that pepper mill as a seat. You know,
it's usually no jockey's no good jockeys being there are like,

(30:49):
hey man, you better win Lucy's way before you. That
looks terrible. You look like the Chargers security guard. That
looks terrible. We we gotta win. We're I'm gonna get
the money. You get the girl were really we're really
kicked out. Who's the kicks out here? Let's go the

(31:13):
Kenner engineer guys what to apologize? Ken Things are off
the rails here, oh Man. Be sure to catch live

Someone left their alarm cloth, they left their alarm clock
and it's peeping at an hour where they're nowhere to
be found. By the way, they live in the Central

(31:58):
time zone. Don't know who's boot that is because it's
set for Yeah, time zones are very good. Way how
you feeling, Brady Quinn come from the East coast out here.
I know you're a big fan of Super Bowls out
on the West coast, so I'm a huge fan of it. Hey,
the weather is nice. I've enjoyed I've enjoyed Phoenix for
a little bit that I've seen. Yeah, I just think

(32:19):
it throws a wrench in the whole thing. It does,
a little bit of a runch just gets thrown in.
By the way, it is too pros and a cup

dot com the way tire buying should be. So we've

(33:04):
got some over unders coming up here shortly as we're
sprinkling in five a day all the way up until
the Super Bowl. So we've got more of that coming
up here in just a few moments from now. But
as we sit here Wednesday before the Super Bowl, anybody
got an angle or storyline or I thought about the
Super Bowl that hasn't been hit on yet? Are we
pretty much exhausted at this point? Now that we're looking

(33:26):
at Nick Sirianni getting revenge over losing his job ten
years ago. One thing we haven't discussed. And I don't
know if you guys think it all matter or not,
but you know, the Chiefs have plaid the most snaps
played by rookies all year of any team. The Eagles
have had the fewest, So there are much. I mean,

(33:46):
it's two completely different rosters when you look at how
they're built, and so I don't I mean I tend
to lean on like watching what happened last year the
Super Bowl, more of a veteran roster and guys for
the Rams and how that worked out similar to the
the Eagles almost in how they set up for this.
And then you had a Bengals team that none of

(34:06):
those dudes had been to a Super Bowl, right, And
so I'm not not saying that that will necessarily play
out in this game, but I do think that's there's
something to that. There's something to the fact that what
we say, you're like, oh, only seven players are from
that last Super Bowl roster. Here's the reality that it's
like seven starters of of the guys that were with
the last Super Bowl team of the Eagles. So there's

(34:29):
there's there's a lot to that when you think about
the fact you got twenty two and that was back
in you still got seven of those guys still around.
That's pretty meaningful. Who do you think is gonna have
more fans out of here Philly? You think so? Not
even close. H shorter trip though for Casey it is,
But from what I've seen out and about already, it's
been filling. Yeah. Yeah. I think a storyline to to

(34:53):
think about to take into consideration is Jonathan you know Cannon, Yeah,
I think so, because while we're looking at a a defense,
who he's the d C for for the Eagles. You know,
we know these coaches by name, We know Sirianni now
by name, we know and we know uh, the defensive

(35:17):
coordinators as Spagnola for Um for Kansas City. We know
these names, we know these names, and but we don't
know Gannon and and they've got no no and we
um yeah, yeah right. Anyway, for all of the success

(35:49):
that they've had, I think the storyline has to be
you guys are outrageously out of control right now. And
if you if you want to see the outrageousness that
goes on, I mean, check us out on on YouTube.
I mean, or we live streaming on Yeah, we're live streaming,
so so make sure you know you check out Jonas

(36:09):
knocks Um pulling his pea shooter out on me. And
while I'm in the middle of a LaVar used to
blow dart from my face in the middle of a
segment there today and I missed us. I did blow
darting in the face. Yeah, I did get him. Brady

(36:30):
got you good yesterday. Though that's a military background because
he knew exactly where to hide, proper position self cover.
I was more curious to see LaVar actually, because he's like,
what the hell is he doing? Yeah, and then when
I got hit, you know, I felt like I got
weak in my knees and I was almost fell down. Yeah,
it was interesting, But no, I really think that is

(36:52):
this is a storyline worth thinking about. Is that you
named we ran off the names of the teams that
they've played over like the last month, month and a half.
And while you could sit there and say, you know,
Gannon and company have been overachieving all each season long,
have done some tremendously great things, this is a forty

(37:15):
year old a forty year old defensive coordinator, and there's
there you could say that there is a lack of
experience um connected to No, I wouldn't say that. You
could say there is a lack of experience here for
this defensive coordinator. And and if there's one, and we

(37:38):
also brought up the idea and the fact that Andy Reid,
when given more than one week to prepare it is
pretty money with with how he's able to to game plan.
I think that that's a storyline that really should be
taken into serious consideration because you're going to have to
adjust to what the game plan is that Andy Reid,

(38:02):
because he probably has one to two that he's going
to bring to the table to try to confuse a young,
aspiring defensive coordinator. I think if you're looking at the
field doing tilted it to your point. It is the
experience of Andy Reid and Steve Spagnola for that matter,
in Super Bowls calling plays as you know, offensive my

(38:23):
defensive mind compared to Philly. Right, both these coordinators are young.
You don't know how they're gonna handle things when they
get into it. I remember back with the Patriots Rams
first Super Bowl with McVeigh. He was so conservative early
on in that game, and part because of what New
England did. They came out in a lot of bare fronts,

(38:45):
five man fronts, and he was like, we haven't seen
this from them all year, at least not to this magnitude.
I think he was miked up and he said, they're
doing what Chicago did to us, like literally said it
out loud. Cada game work out for Chicago that they
beat the Rams year, and they did, but the playoff
game the Bears lost. But you know, but that I
remember him being miked up and he just the playoffs

(39:06):
that year. Yeah, yeah, that was the Cody Parky, Oh yeah,
the double joint. But he he pointed that out though,
is that we they just didn't expect it at all. No,
and and and and that's I mean for people who
are listening you don't know. Usually you know as bear funds,
there's five man fronts. It eliminates a lot of your
run game. You know you're gonna you're gonna get out
of certain run calls. But because you can't necessarily work

(39:28):
a double team up to the second level. Uh, some
offensive line coaches, you know, either don't like the matchup
or they don't like how it presents. So you go
to a basically a list of about five plays that
you will be able to run, depending on the offensive system,
depending on what you're doing, usually some some outside zones games,
some other stuff. But bottom line is, to that point,
you just don't know what Spagnolan and Read are gonna do,

(39:49):
and then how those guys are going to react off
because it's always a game of adjustments. And by the way,
if people don't like Nick Sirianni's attitude, just what if
he wins, it's gonna go to the next level and
he's gonna be buckled at the parade and pissing everybody off.
So just get ready. If you're not a fan of
his behavior, you're probably not gonna be win this game.

(40:11):
I got to hang out with him the night when
he found out he was becoming the head coach. So
he married into a family of a buddy of mine,
and so I get to see him down in South
Florida and stuff like that connected to your family's crazy man,
you don't know's he married into a buddy of minds.
He married a buddy of mine. They both married into

(40:32):
that family, so like they both married, the two the
two daughters, whatever, but the they came by the house
because he was a wire serious coach in Kansas City
in twos and twelve when I was with him and
so we got to know each other. He's he's a
great guy's great coach. People people don't understand is like
he's passionate man and his dad surviving multiple ballots with
cancers played a large role in why he's so passionate

(40:53):
about things and how he lives life. But he cares.
He's a grinder. And I think the thing that like
you've seen more and more in sports and especially with coaching,
is these guys want you to be relatable and he
is that. Like he connects with them on a genuine level.
Like he didn't take that job and try to be
somebody's not like That's what I love about him is
what you see is what he is. He's not putting

(41:13):
that on for the camera, putting that on for to
be somebody's not like he is genuinely like that. He's
genuinely got a chip on his shoulder since he was
at Mount Union plan wide receiver back during his college
days in Ohio. Like, he's got that sort of stuff
to him. So I appreciate it. I love it, and
I think I think the players all connect with him

(41:34):
on that in that way because he's he's not a
young guy who took the job. I was like, oh,
now I need to be like this. He's just he
is who he is. Have a couple of you were
hanging out that night, Yeah, we did. We had a
drink when he came in, but he he had already
had a number four that we actually FaceTime. We actually
FaceTime one of our one of my old coaches, one

(41:56):
of his old UH colleagues. So it was great, but
he was who was still in the playoffs at that point,
and so it was not great because of the day
and the hour that we were faced time. But he
was still up, So can he come on? Like, tell
him to come on? The show. He's in town. Yeah, yeah,
I think he's got that. Why would you do that?

(42:16):
He really wants to come on, Well, we'd have to
move Albert Brier. So will we shoot? Will we shoot them?
Gotta be flexible. They were drinking so much. Albert Bier
might have been there that night. So I'll say this, man,
I'll say, is for that Ohio State alumni group. Like
they'll teach, they teach, they teach them how to drink.

(42:40):
That's a that's an underrated drinking party school. Yeah. I'm
gonna throw one more thing out there before we go
to break after, you know, visiting the family deal of
Nick Syria unbelievable. I think it's pretty dope everything. He's
got a story, he knows, he's connecting. You're maybe the
most connected person I have pretty connected to. Man. It's

(43:00):
not he's got connections in Hollywood. You've got connections. Just
kind of interesting. It is kind of interesting. But I
think my my last point to the you know, the
storyline of this is when you when you think about
going into this game, you you mentioned the idea of
the beer front and stuff like that. It'll be interesting

(43:21):
to see how like I recall a defensive scheme where
to stop the run but still be able to play
the pass. You put the linebacker. You put the middle
linebacker into the line of scrimmage, like you put him
into the gap that he would be filling in a run.
And you take your week side linebacker and you stack

(43:41):
him behind, like just a little bit behind, and and
offset to the center, so that that that linebacker has
the ability to read and react against the run, and
if it becomes a pass, he's still freed up to
be able to cover the past. And then you use
your your safety as the weak side linebacker, which in

(44:04):
most cases you're strong side. You're strong safety is basically
a glorified linebacker as well. So I would be interested
to see do they play around with the fronts. A
bare front may hurt you unless you're trying to use
your defensive ends. And I know this is football talk,
but I think that it would be pretty interesting to
see if if you're putting your defensive end situations where

(44:27):
they cover the backs. Uh, they will throw the ball
to the backs, so but they don't run heavy right, Well,
excuse me, let me let me go back to this
looking at it from the Eagles perspective, that's going to
be interesting to see how they they do it right.
But for for the Eagles and coming into this game, um,

(44:50):
to know that you don't have very many guys to cover,
do you take the chance on being able? Well, you know,
I guess you don't have to worry about stopping the run.
But I will probably sell out to pressure because I
don't only feel like I have to cover one guy. Um, yeah,
he's back, he's on the active ross. So although Pacheco

(45:10):
has had such an impact, I'd have to thank him
and McKinnon the way they can catch the ball on
the back of those guys end up being the matchup
and try to get Teach Edwards in space who's missed
some tackles in the NFC Championship game. I would just
think Jonathan Gannon feel is good about how they match
up versus everyone, even Kelsey, because I think Chances Gardner Johnson,
he's he's kind of they I mean, he's the type

(45:31):
of guy that they can put on the tight end
and let him lock him down like he's that type
of player for Philly. So I think there's a lot
of matchup. I don't want to say issues for Casey
because Patrick Mahomes ultimately is the equalizer. But I think
Philly should feel really good about when they look across
what they're lining up against, they've got answers.
