bulk up just make you drink shakes when you were
a kid like the remember that he literally from the
time I was probably like I probably looked like chet
Holme Grin and like havn or eight years old. He
gave me this, uh it was I'll never forget the

powder just said heavy weight gater on the front of it.
I was like, okay. It was one of those deals
where it was like a mule replacement or supplement where
it was it was two thousand calories. I mean, you
put a couple of scoops of this into a blender,
it's two thousand calories. And so he would put that
in with like a banana some ice. I think he
crack an egg and he put an egg in there

just like I don't know because a Rocky watched that.
He thought that was cool. Um, And he literally made
me these like chocolate protein shakes that were probably all
in like calorie. I mean, but it worked, man, I guess.
I mean, I don't you are that looking dude on?

I think we would have gotten there eventually. I don't
know that we needed a heavy weight in or eight
years old. You just never know. As props. Yeah, I do,
trust me. He was on something. Um. So what is um?
Is Dan Snyder Lavars guy who apparently his legal team

has said that he has agreed to talk with the
US House Oversight Committee. There's been a little height and
go see going on where he's been on some yacht
and like Israel or or wherever the hell he's most
likely Yeah, and and uh, he would be on somebody
else ye different, And so he might have been it
might have been yeah, but what do you think? So

That's what I'm posing to you guys. He's doing a
via video because I think there's gonna be like someone
behind the video camera where when he gets asked a question,
they're like play the fifth or say this, Like he's

gonna be so coached up and ready. They will have
like signals and he will know exactly what to say.
I think that that's the whole reason why he hasn't
gone period, is that he has to be preparing for
what it is that they're going to ask him, because
I think he knows this is either the nail in
the coffin or or he puts his finger in between

you know, the coffin door coming down and slamming down,
and and and still keeping a little bit of hope
allowed that he can get out of this. So I
agree with that it might not let's not say one person.
There might be an entire team. There might be there
might be lobbyists in there. There might be lawyers in there,

there might be publicists in there. What do they call
him the crisis controls, uh specialists and stuff like that.
He might have an entire team in there with him. See,
you don't think, you don't think he's planning on doing
this on the up and up, you know, just uh,
you know, he's he's I don't know if he's a
billionaire still or I don't know where he's at net worthwise.

He also could plain technical difficulties, WiFi outages. I'm sorry,
can you repeat that question? I'm sorry? Can you? I
don't know. I don't know what's happening here, because at
some point he can't just not be in the country forever, right,
He's he's got to have some some conversation with him
at some point. Maybe just waiting for this whole thing
to die down a little. I mean, I think for
anyone who's traveled internationally. I mean, I don't know. It's

nice places out there. Yeah, you could definitely probably just
chill there for a while. I mean plus RFK, I mean,
I don't know where they're gonna play games this year
because RFK just caught on fire, which which is you know,
a major there. He's waiting for the insurance to check

Listen When I think, when I think we're Washington plays,
I think RFK. When I think the Dolphins, I think
Joe Robbie Stadium, and I think the meadow Lands. I
don't think you did play in RFK though, didn't you?

had Brad Johnson at quarterback. They had John Janssen at
at tackle. They they had I mean, they had a
lot of football players on on that team. Michael Westbrook,
Albert Connell. Uh three of them, yeah, fifty three of them.
That that was a team from the former regime. By

the way they had Champ they rely on that team.
They had some serious ass football players on that team.
And then they get the number two and the number
three overall picks in the next draft out of the
Ricky Williams um trade to to New Orleans. Is that

Pro Bowls, Like you're talking like nine or or so
Pro Bowls between me and Chris Samuels on that team.
And we made the playoffs one time during my time there,

One time. So I just I don't think people have
well because I think that the last time outside of
year one, I think the last time the team was winning.
You know, Dan Snyder really has only had success one time,

was the one time we went to the playoffs. I
think they made the playoffs. They made the playoffs with
with r G three his rookie years, So there was
there was that there was the hope of the world
on RG three shoulders, and he delivered and got hurt.

I mean he went down in the injury and so
did the hopes and dreams of of the Washington football team.
So you know, I think this relates to This relates

think people may have may have let their their memories

football re alignment crap. And here's why. Already. Okay, here

here they talked about DeShawn Watson for like, trust trust me.
But here here's my problem. Because now there's this report
that these a c C schools like Clemson and North
Carolina are gonna leave the a c C and join
the SEC. And it's it's like from some site called
(17:24):
swim swam dot com that the initial report came out.
It just it feels like I'm and I'm not attacking
the guy who came out with this, but I'm starting
to see the jokes on Twitter. I'm hearing so and
so it is leaving this conference for this. It just
feels like the clowns are out now and I don't
know what reports are even true. And it's just happening
so fast. It's like the n I L deals to

where all of this stuff comes out. It's like, hold on,
can we slow down? What's really happening? What is actually happening?
Are now a CEC schools leaving to go to the
SEC in one week? We've seen big at PAC twelve
schools leave. We've seen PAC twelve schools leave to go
to to the Big twelve, to the Big ten. You're

just seeing teams get poach left and right. I have
no idea what's even real anymore. It just feels like
a lot happening. What what teams have left the Pack
twelve due to the Big twelve? All right, so there's
the rumor that Arizona. You know, I'm saying what definitively
is actually happened. That's I'm talking about the rumors that
are out there right, it just feel which isn't really
news and not probably really news for to talk about.

But I did talk to someone who who on good
authority did say to me, yeah, North Carolina is going
to join the SEC and this is before this bogus
before came out, and so you know, will there be
more realignment? Sure? And and my push back to that
person was, why would if I, well, if I'm a
team in the SEC, why would I want to invite
(18:49):
in other brands that are only gonna take away the
amount of money that I'm receiving from my TV deal?
And there was really no response to that because because
there's not like you want to bring in brands that
you feel like you're building that up. And people can say, well,
North Carolina has a National Basketball Grant brand. That's great,
it just doesn't drive as much revenue as football does.
(19:11):
And you know, unfortunately for those big time college basketball
fans or basketball fans in general, you are behind both
the NFL and college football and viewership. So you're just
you're you're not gonna get You're not gonna move the
needle as much And the odd thing about this, you know,
report or rumor what if you wanna call it, is
if I was the SEC and UM or even the
(19:33):
a SEC for that matter, and I've got four schools
they want to jump ship and they've got to pay out,
you know, their their granted rights fees. One of the
things that the report was that they're gonna avoid their
TV deal. Well ESPN is it's obviously orchestrating both TV deals,
that of which with the SEC and that of which
with the A c C. So if I was the conference,
really both conferences, I'll be a set by it because
(19:56):
I'd say to them, wait, wait a second, So you're
gonna avoid it for these four, but you're not gonna
do it for the rest of them that we may
want to jump over there because Virginia was the other
school without Virginia Tech, which I would imagine Virginia Tech
moves the needle more in football. And I guess I again,
I look at I go, well, wouldn't both conferences be
upset about this? Only because there's gotta be some teams
(20:17):
that don't like this. There's gotta be some people who
are saying so before this year, if we tried to move,
we would have to pay hundreds of millions of dollars
to get out. But be now now, because of what's
happened with USC and U c l A moving to
the Big Ten, you're willing to avoid that and waive that,
But then the other other schools within this conference can't
come over. There's not a lot of it that really
(20:38):
makes a whole lot of sense. And that's why until
it's definitive, until actually is going to happen, and it's
been reported that way, it's hard to buy into a
lot of the talking conversation around it. It's hard enough
to have use USC and U c l A moved
to the Big Ten, let alone all these other teams
that people act like are gonna be moving over. See.
I mean, it's not that easy just to take a
(20:59):
bunch of teams and throw them into a conference, and uh,
it works. It works easier if you've got a network
that owns the rights to both. Like to think that
the SEC couldn't absorb the A c C. Yeah, like
that it works easier that way. ESPN owns the rights
to both of those conferences. The problem is you're gonna
(21:19):
get pushed back from obviously the commissioner, I mean Jim Phillips,
he's sitting there going, wait a second, what do you
I have a job if the a CEC dissolves, What
am I gonna do? Um? So there's that part of it.
I think there's also some schools that probably wouldn't get invited.
Like you need all the schools in the a c
C to join the SEC um, there's probably some schools
(21:42):
that wouldn't get invited. So what do those schools do?
And as the SEC conference and the conference commissioner, you
gotta figure all that stuff out. And so yeah, there's
gonna be pushed back with some of that. Like it's
not like it's gonna be a smooth transition, even though
those two conferences should have the smooth stuff conversations because
their TV partners should be working with them. So it's
the same TV partner for both. I don't care. You
(22:08):
guys can have this segment. I mean, well, let me
ask you this, all right hypothetical. All right, say the
SEC goes, we're not bringing in four teams, we're not
splitting everything out that much. We'll bring into if they
had their pick of two teams from the school that matters.
(22:29):
That's out there, like I don't care, all right, hypothetical,
just a hypothetical. What two brands from the a SEC
if you were the SEC, would you want to bring in?
Clemson's an obvious one. But then it comes down to
what Florida State Miami SAMI? And who would you pick
between Florida State Miami. I would say Miami because I

think they're they're probably better position moving forward. But I
think Florida State would be another team, bigger school. Um
that would be the other school that I think would
probably be brought in, even though I don't think they're
in as good of a spot as Byame is. Alright,
So LaVar, I do have something you might care about,
all right, So I just want to I want to
know how you feel about this. What do you where
(23:12):
do you think Penn State ranks? All right, this is
a little go to, uh you know, in into the
tool belt for this. According to Draft Kings, where do
you think Penn State ranks? Uh in likely to win
the Big Ten championship this upcoming season? So how many? So?
What teams do you think are ahead of Penn State
right now in the odds? According to DraftKings, Ohio State.

That is correct. Oh there's another, Yeah, there, there's multiples. Wisconsin.
That is correct. There are multiples there. Please don't say Michigan.
That is correct. That is correct. How does that feel?
So Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin. Ohio States the minus two

ten favorite to win the Big Ten Championship, followed by
Michigan at plus six hundred Wisconsin, and then Penn States
sitting there plus six hundred. So there's good value there.
So if you liked the nickney Lyons to win the
win the Big Ten this upcoming season, I mean you
know you're you're already gambling on a number of games.
Deshaun Watson is going to be suspended by the NFL.

We've turned you into a regular gambler here on the program.
I mean, so if you want to venture into these waters,
you know, grab a snorkel and you can bet on
the Penn State. Yeah, they turned turn it into something there.
So so there it is. So there's your update on
the The Big Ten show. You always have some gambling
odds up every every time, and you want to know
why when a topic dies on the vine, let's just

talk gambling. And so when LaVar killed this topic on
the air, UH, and we went to UH needed to
go to there was the big ten odds sitting right
in front of me. You know, I do think that
plays a small portion in viewership and in the in
the discussions about Okay, like I said earlier this week,
they're to make college football into a national uh or

these these you know, brands of the national brands and
making a national audience like that's that's really what you
know they're trying to do. And if you look at why, well,
why would you well because I mean probably gambling like
and and Jonas you can relate to this because I'm
sure there's some games and teams you gambled on them
you had no clue what you were doing. Now, like
you were just throwing money away, gambling on some team
(25:26):
you'd never seen before but wanted some action on the
game you're gonna watch, right, I I swear to God
on this. I I became a fan of Oregon State
football a couple of years ago. Yeah, because they were
always on late and to your point, and I'm glad
you brought this up because I was gonna mention this
the other day. If if you're the pack twelve or

the Mountain West, and you're like, how can we get
people interested in these teams now that some of these
big brands have left. Isn't gambling an avenue you would
knock on? Like, wouldn't you knock on the door and say,
all right, look, Kauai has been the running joke gamble
on Hawaii. It's a last game gone, It's not, it's
it's not always the last game going. You've got Oregon State,
(26:08):
you've got Washington State, like you could, you could take
advantage of this opportunity. And at this point, don't you
have to play the hand that you got, Like you
have to at some point get people interested in these programs.
And if you've got to go the gambling route, who cares.
If you're gonna bring in revenue and interest, it makes
a lot of sense. I think the hard thing is
it's it's still considered an amateur sports, so these guys
(26:29):
are considered professional. You'll worry about that, and even then
you worry about, you know, young people making dumb decisions,
dumb mistakes, you know. I mean it was a Blue Ships,
which was the one they were they were, you know,
they were kind of impacting some games. Blue chips. Hey,
you know what, those are outliers. So those are outliers,
and you know they want a big game against Indiana
(26:49):
their first year together. So I'm not going to sit
here and criticize those guys. They needed to do what
they needed to do. Uh. And if you can't trust
and I'm not saying players betting on these games, but
make it, make it appointment television. You know, figure out
a way to to put these broadcasts together that are
going to welcome in people that are looking around that
have lost their ass all day on college football, that
(27:10):
are looking to get a little bit of action later
on and start welcoming in that. And I just don't
think a lot of networks have done a good enough
job and really fully embracing gambling. I think they're still
trying to figure it out. They've got odds popping up
on the screen. But I think they're better legal state
by state. I mean, you you've got restrictions. How can
you fully adopted if you've got restrictions. Get crafty, get creative,

you know, like he created like bookies. These are like
publicly traded company. That's fine, you know, so well, so
here's what you do. You just instead of, you know,
saying explicitly the the line or what the action is
at stake, you just say, man, oh man, Jim, can
you believe this? What do you know? They're up by
four points? If only it were four and a half? Right?

You don't like you just allude to stuff you don't
have to do to come out right and just say
it completely. There's a lot of announcers that do that,
now listen. I don't think they do a good enough
job of it. And that's why I'm here just trying

the big, the big question is where is Jimmy Garoppolo

going to be reporting to Because Jimmy Garoppolo still remember
the San Francisco forty Niners. It feels like, uh, the
musical chairs, the music is stopped. There's no chairs left
Baker Mayfields. Now in Carolina, we're waiting to see what
the hell happens with Deshaun Watson. So what's the plan
in San fran Because I know Jerry Rice is optimistic
on Trey Lances time there. You've heard some other reports
(30:34):
that uh, you know, well, you know, maybe he's not
you know, as as ready as he needs to be,
and there's some concerns, but the Niners seemed dead set.
I wanted to trade Garoppolo. I'm assuming he has recovered
or is close to recovering fully from his shoulder surgery.
So what's happening with Jimmy Garoppolo, Like what makes sense
(30:54):
as far as a potential starting job that's out there.
If it's not going to be San Francisco. Well, Jerry
feels a lot better about Tray Lance that I do,
but he's probably been able to see him practice and
do some more stuff. I just watched all the tape
of him last year, and you know he's gotta take
a big jump, I think in order to get to
the level that at least Garoppolo provides for them when healthy.
I mean, he gives them the chance with that roster

when healthy, to be a super Bowl caliber team, to
win your conference. He gives them that shot. We've seen
him do it before. I don't know if I'm San
Francisco that I want to move on from him. The
problem is his I mean, what you gotta pay him
is is huge, and you can get out from underneath
it without any penalty because they don't have any He
doesn't have any guarantees, so they could cut him at
(31:39):
some point and and be able to move on the
problem is, you know, do you risk him going somewhere
else or may come back to bite you. Do you
feel like you need that security with having Jimmy g
there because you're not sure what you're maybe having Trey Lance.
I mean, there's a lot of questions, but it's hard
to look at any scenario and say, you know, obviously,

I think he'd be better off in Seattle than any
of the quarterbacks they currently have there now. But outside
of that scenario, like, I'm not sure which situation you'd
say you'd go into. I mean, and and there's still
concerned with the amount of money he's being paid, with
his ability to stay healthy, like that's always been his
achilles heal in regards to what he's gonna be compensated,
and teams desire to have him on the roster. When
(32:22):
he's healthy, he plays well, he's a winning quarterback. Uh,
I'm assuming he's going to be back in San fran
at this point. I think it's it's just too too
late in the game. And listen, I said this about
I said this about Baker Mayfield. But you gotta keep
(32:42):
in mind and the Baker Mayfield situation, Baker had to
make that deal happen. So you're talking about him absorbing
the amount of money I think it was what it
was three million that they said that he had to
absorb of. Well, they shifted to incentives so he could
actually earn them back. But yeah, yeah, but he's I mean,

that's still kind of his responsibility. I think with garoppolo situation,
he's not going to go to They're not going to
send him to a divisional opponent, like I don't. I
don't see that happening. So the question begs to to
to ask, is again, where where does he end up

if he weren't in San France? I don't. I don't
think there's a market for him. So if you think
it's best bet, is there if he gets traded too,
because I just I don't know that San Francisco wants
to carry was a twenty four point six million I
think he's like in a backup quarterback because they're still
they're still trying to figure out someone that with Deebo
Samuel From from my understand, they're trying to get some

sort of a deal done. I don't know that they
can they can swing that necessarily if they if Garoppolo
is still there. But if they do trade him and
say Cleveland says, you know, we we'd rather have Jimmy
Garoppolo than Jacoby said or whatever they got, does Cleveland
now pick up that twenty four whatever million dollars that
Garoppolo is od or is this something to where that
(34:10):
doesn't carry with him like it would Baker Mayfield, because
it's already been you know, guaranteed this upcoming season him
getting traded. Okay, so you said they would have to
figure out financially how to make it work. Yeah, well
I can't you keep going back to it. Why would
you trade him? You're if you're that team, maybe you'd
(34:30):
offer a high high pick, like a six seventh round pick,
But the recourse is to cut them if they don't
want them and they want to move on from him,
Like like, why would any team absorb that contract? You
just cut them. You wait till he's a free agent,
you renegotiate that deal. What he's gonna come play for
for a year or two. So there's no real market
for him trade wise. No, I mean to cut him

though that I just man, well he's not healthy. I
think you gotta be able to pass a physical. That's
that's a portion of it too. Oh live of the purposes,
Yeah yeah, yeah, I could see that. Yeah. Oh, well
he's in a bad spot, like it's the wrong time
for him to I mean, his health has been used

to not step on you, but I think his health
has been used as a reference point obviously throughout his career,
it's costing him now because if that's the case, if
if it's his health that's the reason why he hasn't
been let go from the team yet, then I mean
it's it's it's now carried him into a window of

time where the window is closed to have an opportunity
to go get a legitimate team to you know, to
go play and lets an injury happens to another team.
I would assume, Okay, which teams if we're going down,
you know, the teams that you would think have questions
as a starting quarterback? Like what teams do you think Atlanta? Okay,
you think Atlanta would rather have him than Marcus Mariotta? Yes, okay?

The Giants with Daniel Jones, Tyrod Taylor, Yes, Okay. Um,
if you're going to say Detroit Jared gofferd Jimmy Garoppolo,
Jimmy G. Although they've both kind of been in the
same spot, I don't I don't know for the contract
that it makes as much sense, but I mean that
would be would go with Jimmy G. I would go

with Jimmy G. Seattle, I mean, Seattle would be fun
just to see him sign with Seattle and then you know,
keep him in division. But you know, you know, I
think it's happened in Seattle. I mean, there's just there's
not a lot of options out there. Do you think
Cleveland would kick the tires on him that Cleveland? I
for sure think they would. If the suspensions, you know,

six eight games something like that. If it's only four,
you might be saying, we could probably get through with
with our first four games, and look at who we play,
and then you know d Sean coming back, You're not
sure you want to bring Jimmy g up might not
want to sign up for that. And then there's also

like with your nachos and stuff? Yeah, oh yeah, I'll

But as a defensive player, I will continue to say
this through the ages, as long as we ever bring
up the forty Niners game and them losing to Kansas City,
that defense all year long gave them a dominant effort,
especially up front, that led to them being able to

win games and make it all the way to the
super Bowl. You get to the Super Bowl. If an
offense gives a defense a tow u two possession game lead,
and that defense is what it's been up to that
point and they give up that to possession lead, then
to me, okay, we could say he missed the past

that could have got them the lead back whatever. But
as a defender, you give me a two possession lead
and and in the second half, out of way, you
got it. You gotta do your job, you gotta you
gotta preserve that victory. And to me, that's I don't
put that super Bowl on Jimmy G. I put it
on their defense. And also, if not from a Jimmy

G fan, if not being your pepper, if not for
the the third and a mile completion to Tyree Hill,
I mean, the forty Niners probably win that game. I mean,
if we're gonna be honest about it, I mean they were,
they were leading that game, they were playing well, and

the rumor that Arizona. You know, I'm saying what definitively
is actually happened. That's I'm talking about the rumors that
are out there right, it just feel which isn't really
news and not probably really news for to talk about.
(18:28):
But I did talk to someone who who on good
authority did say to me, yeah, North Carolina is going
to join the SEC and this is before this bogus
before came out, and so you know, will there be
more realignment? Sure? And and my push back to that
person was, why would if I, well, if I'm a
team in the SEC, why would I want to invite
(18:49):
in other brands that are only gonna take away the
amount of money that I'm receiving from my TV deal?
And there was really no response to that because because
there's not like you want to bring in brands that
you feel like you're building that up. And people can say, well,
North Carolina has a National Basketball Grant brand. That's great,
it just doesn't drive as much revenue as football does.
(19:11):
And you know, unfortunately for those big time college basketball
fans or basketball fans in general, you are behind both
the NFL and college football and viewership. So you're just
you're you're not gonna get You're not gonna move the
needle as much And the odd thing about this, you know,
report or rumor what if you wanna call it, is
if I was the SEC and UM or even the
(19:33):
a SEC for that matter, and I've got four schools
they want to jump ship and they've got to pay out,
you know, their their granted rights fees. One of the
things that the report was that they're gonna avoid their
TV deal. Well ESPN is it's obviously orchestrating both TV deals,
that of which with the SEC and that of which
with the A c C. So if I was the conference,
really both conferences, I'll be a set by it because
(19:56):
I'd say to them, wait, wait a second, So you're
gonna avoid it for these four, but you're not gonna
do it for the rest of them that we may
want to jump over there because Virginia was the other
school without Virginia Tech, which I would imagine Virginia Tech
moves the needle more in football. And I guess I again,
I look at I go, well, wouldn't both conferences be
upset about this? Only because there's gotta be some teams
(20:17):
that don't like this. There's gotta be some people who
are saying so before this year, if we tried to move,
we would have to pay hundreds of millions of dollars
to get out. But be now now, because of what's
happened with USC and U c l A moving to
the Big Ten, you're willing to avoid that and waive that,
But then the other other schools within this conference can't
come over. There's not a lot of it that really
(20:38):
makes a whole lot of sense. And that's why until
it's definitive, until actually is going to happen, and it's
been reported that way, it's hard to buy into a
lot of the talking conversation around it. It's hard enough
to have use USC and U c l A moved
to the Big Ten, let alone all these other teams
that people act like are gonna be moving over. See.
I mean, it's not that easy just to take a
(20:59):
bunch of teams and throw them into a conference, and uh,
it works. It works easier if you've got a network
that owns the rights to both. Like to think that
the SEC couldn't absorb the A c C. Yeah, like
that it works easier that way. ESPN owns the rights
to both of those conferences. The problem is you're gonna
(21:19):
get pushed back from obviously the commissioner, I mean Jim Phillips,
he's sitting there going, wait a second, what do you
I have a job if the a CEC dissolves, What
am I gonna do? Um? So there's that part of it.
I think there's also some schools that probably wouldn't get invited.
Like you need all the schools in the a c
C to join the SEC um, there's probably some schools
(21:42):
that wouldn't get invited. So what do those schools do?
And as the SEC conference and the conference commissioner, you
gotta figure all that stuff out. And so yeah, there's
gonna be pushed back with some of that. Like it's
not like it's gonna be a smooth transition, even though
those two conferences should have the smooth stuff conversations because
their TV partners should be working with them. So it's
the same TV partner for both. I don't care. You
(22:08):
guys can have this segment. I mean, well, let me
ask you this, all right hypothetical. All right, say the
SEC goes, we're not bringing in four teams, we're not
splitting everything out that much. We'll bring into if they
had their pick of two teams from the school that matters.
(22:29):
That's out there, like I don't care, all right, hypothetical,
just a hypothetical. What two brands from the a SEC
if you were the SEC, would you want to bring in?
Clemson's an obvious one. But then it comes down to
what Florida State Miami SAMI? And who would you pick
between Florida State Miami. I would say Miami because I
(22:52):
think they're they're probably better position moving forward. But I
think Florida State would be another team, bigger school. Um
that would be the other school that I think would
probably be brought in, even though I don't think they're
in as good of a spot as Byame is. Alright,
So LaVar, I do have something you might care about,
all right, So I just want to I want to
know how you feel about this. What do you where
(23:12):
do you think Penn State ranks? All right, this is
a little go to, uh you know, in into the
tool belt for this. According to Draft Kings, where do
you think Penn State ranks? Uh in likely to win
the Big Ten championship this upcoming season? So how many? So?
What teams do you think are ahead of Penn State
right now in the odds? According to DraftKings, Ohio State.

That is correct. Oh there's another, Yeah, there, there's multiples. Wisconsin.
That is correct. There are multiples there. Please don't say Michigan.
That is correct. That is correct. How does that feel?
So Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin. Ohio States the minus two

ten favorite to win the Big Ten Championship, followed by
Michigan at plus six hundred Wisconsin, and then Penn States
sitting there plus six hundred. So there's good value there.
So if you liked the nickney Lyons to win the
win the Big Ten this upcoming season, I mean you
know you're you're already gambling on a number of games.
Deshaun Watson is going to be suspended by the NFL.

We've turned you into a regular gambler here on the program.
I mean, so if you want to venture into these waters,
you know, grab a snorkel and you can bet on
the Penn State. Yeah, they turned turn it into something there.
So so there it is. So there's your update on
the The Big Ten show. You always have some gambling
odds up every every time, and you want to know
why when a topic dies on the vine, let's just

talk gambling. And so when LaVar killed this topic on
the air, UH, and we went to UH needed to
go to there was the big ten odds sitting right
in front of me. You know, I do think that
plays a small portion in viewership and in the in
the discussions about Okay, like I said earlier this week,
they're to make college football into a national uh or

these these you know, brands of the national brands and
making a national audience like that's that's really what you
know they're trying to do. And if you look at why, well,
why would you well because I mean probably gambling like
and and Jonas you can relate to this because I'm
sure there's some games and teams you gambled on them
you had no clue what you were doing. Now, like
you were just throwing money away, gambling on some team

you'd never seen before but wanted some action on the
game you're gonna watch, right, I I swear to God
on this. I I became a fan of Oregon State
football a couple of years ago. Yeah, because they were
always on late and to your point, and I'm glad
you brought this up because I was gonna mention this
the other day. If if you're the pack twelve or

the Mountain West, and you're like, how can we get
people interested in these teams now that some of these
big brands have left. Isn't gambling an avenue you would
knock on? Like, wouldn't you knock on the door and say,
all right, look, Kauai has been the running joke gamble
on Hawaii. It's a last game gone, It's not, it's
it's not always the last game going. You've got Oregon State,
(26:08):
you've got Washington State, like you could, you could take
advantage of this opportunity. And at this point, don't you
have to play the hand that you got, Like you
have to at some point get people interested in these programs.
And if you've got to go the gambling route, who cares.
If you're gonna bring in revenue and interest, it makes
a lot of sense. I think the hard thing is
it's it's still considered an amateur sports, so these guys
(26:29):
are considered professional. You'll worry about that, and even then
you worry about, you know, young people making dumb decisions,
dumb mistakes, you know. I mean it was a Blue Ships,
which was the one they were they were, you know,
they were kind of impacting some games. Blue chips. Hey,
you know what, those are outliers. So those are outliers,
and you know they want a big game against Indiana
(26:49):
their first year together. So I'm not going to sit
here and criticize those guys. They needed to do what
they needed to do. Uh. And if you can't trust
and I'm not saying players betting on these games, but
make it, make it appointment television. You know, figure out
a way to to put these broadcasts together that are
going to welcome in people that are looking around that
have lost their ass all day on college football, that
(27:10):
are looking to get a little bit of action later
on and start welcoming in that. And I just don't
think a lot of networks have done a good enough
job and really fully embracing gambling. I think they're still
trying to figure it out. They've got odds popping up
on the screen. But I think they're better legal state
by state. I mean, you you've got restrictions. How can
you fully adopted if you've got restrictions. Get crafty, get creative,
(27:33):
you know, like he created like bookies. These are like
publicly traded company. That's fine, you know, so well, so
here's what you do. You just instead of, you know,
saying explicitly the the line or what the action is
at stake, you just say, man, oh man, Jim, can
you believe this? What do you know? They're up by
four points? If only it were four and a half? Right?

You don't like you just allude to stuff you don't
have to do to come out right and just say
it completely. There's a lot of announcers that do that,
now listen. I don't think they do a good enough
job of it. And that's why I'm here just trying

the big, the big question is where is Jimmy Garoppolo

going to be reporting to Because Jimmy Garoppolo still remember
the San Francisco forty Niners. It feels like, uh, the
musical chairs, the music is stopped. There's no chairs left
Baker Mayfields. Now in Carolina, we're waiting to see what
the hell happens with Deshaun Watson. So what's the plan
in San fran Because I know Jerry Rice is optimistic
on Trey Lances time there. You've heard some other reports
(30:34):
that uh, you know, well, you know, maybe he's not
you know, as as ready as he needs to be,
and there's some concerns, but the Niners seemed dead set.
I wanted to trade Garoppolo. I'm assuming he has recovered
or is close to recovering fully from his shoulder surgery.
So what's happening with Jimmy Garoppolo, Like what makes sense
(30:54):
as far as a potential starting job that's out there.
If it's not going to be San Francisco. Well, Jerry
feels a lot better about Tray Lance that I do,
but he's probably been able to see him practice and
do some more stuff. I just watched all the tape
of him last year, and you know he's gotta take
a big jump, I think in order to get to
the level that at least Garoppolo provides for them when healthy.
I mean, he gives them the chance with that roster
(31:17):
when healthy, to be a super Bowl caliber team, to
win your conference. He gives them that shot. We've seen
him do it before. I don't know if I'm San
Francisco that I want to move on from him. The
problem is his I mean, what you gotta pay him
is is huge, and you can get out from underneath
it without any penalty because they don't have any He
doesn't have any guarantees, so they could cut him at
(31:39):
some point and and be able to move on the
problem is, you know, do you risk him going somewhere
else or may come back to bite you. Do you
feel like you need that security with having Jimmy g
there because you're not sure what you're maybe having Trey Lance.
I mean, there's a lot of questions, but it's hard
to look at any scenario and say, you know, obviously,
(32:00):
I think he'd be better off in Seattle than any
of the quarterbacks they currently have there now. But outside
of that scenario, like, I'm not sure which situation you'd
say you'd go into. I mean, and and there's still
concerned with the amount of money he's being paid, with
his ability to stay healthy, like that's always been his
achilles heal in regards to what he's gonna be compensated,
and teams desire to have him on the roster. When
(32:22):
he's healthy, he plays well, he's a winning quarterback. Uh,
I'm assuming he's going to be back in San fran
at this point. I think it's it's just too too
late in the game. And listen, I said this about
I said this about Baker Mayfield. But you gotta keep
(32:42):
in mind and the Baker Mayfield situation, Baker had to
make that deal happen. So you're talking about him absorbing
the amount of money I think it was what it
was three million that they said that he had to
absorb of. Well, they shifted to incentives so he could
actually earn them back. But yeah, yeah, but he's I mean,
(33:04):
that's still kind of his responsibility. I think with garoppolo situation,
he's not going to go to They're not going to
send him to a divisional opponent, like I don't. I
don't see that happening. So the question begs to to
to ask, is again, where where does he end up
(33:26):
if he weren't in San France? I don't. I don't
think there's a market for him. So if you think
it's best bet, is there if he gets traded too,
because I just I don't know that San Francisco wants
to carry was a twenty four point six million I
think he's like in a backup quarterback because they're still
they're still trying to figure out someone that with Deebo
Samuel From from my understand, they're trying to get some
(33:48):
sort of a deal done. I don't know that they
can they can swing that necessarily if they if Garoppolo
is still there. But if they do trade him and
say Cleveland says, you know, we we'd rather have Jimmy
Garoppolo than Jacoby said or whatever they got, does Cleveland
now pick up that twenty four whatever million dollars that
Garoppolo is od or is this something to where that
(34:10):
doesn't carry with him like it would Baker Mayfield, because
it's already been you know, guaranteed this upcoming season him
getting traded. Okay, so you said they would have to
figure out financially how to make it work. Yeah, well
I can't you keep going back to it. Why would
you trade him? You're if you're that team, maybe you'd
(34:30):
offer a high high pick, like a six seventh round pick,
But the recourse is to cut them if they don't
want them and they want to move on from him,
Like like, why would any team absorb that contract? You
just cut them. You wait till he's a free agent,
you renegotiate that deal. What he's gonna come play for
for a year or two. So there's no real market
for him trade wise. No, I mean to cut him
(34:51):
though that I just man, well he's not healthy. I
think you gotta be able to pass a physical. That's
that's a portion of it too. Oh live of the purposes,
Yeah yeah, yeah, I could see that. Yeah. Oh, well
he's in a bad spot, like it's the wrong time
for him to I mean, his health has been used
(35:13):
to not step on you, but I think his health
has been used as a reference point obviously throughout his career,
it's costing him now because if that's the case, if
if it's his health that's the reason why he hasn't
been let go from the team yet, then I mean
it's it's it's now carried him into a window of
(35:34):
time where the window is closed to have an opportunity
to go get a legitimate team to you know, to
go play and lets an injury happens to another team.
I would assume, Okay, which teams if we're going down,
you know, the teams that you would think have questions
as a starting quarterback? Like what teams do you think Atlanta? Okay,
you think Atlanta would rather have him than Marcus Mariotta? Yes, okay?

The Giants with Daniel Jones, Tyrod Taylor, Yes, Okay. Um,
if you're going to say Detroit Jared gofferd Jimmy Garoppolo,
Jimmy G. Although they've both kind of been in the
same spot, I don't I don't know for the contract
that it makes as much sense, but I mean that
would be would go with Jimmy G. I would go
(36:19):
with Jimmy G. Seattle, I mean, Seattle would be fun
just to see him sign with Seattle and then you know,
keep him in division. But you know, you know, I
think it's happened in Seattle. I mean, there's just there's
not a lot of options out there. Do you think
Cleveland would kick the tires on him that Cleveland? I
for sure think they would. If the suspensions, you know,
(36:39):
six eight games something like that. If it's only four,
you might be saying, we could probably get through with
with our first four games, and look at who we play,
and then you know d Sean coming back, You're not
sure you want to bring Jimmy g up might not
want to sign up for that. And then there's also
hughes like peppers, Yeah yeah. Are you big on him,

like with your nachos and stuff? Yeah, oh yeah, I'll
put those things in sandwiches and everything. Taco fresh. By
the way, I don't do the pickled because I'm not soft.
I go fresh with seeds still in. Yeah. How else
would you do it? Yeah, well, there's a lot of
people like it pickled. Yeah, it dims the taste in
the spice a little bit. You know what made you

think of that? Um? I felt like it was more
interesting than Jimmy Garoppolo at this point, And would you
compare Jimmy Garoppolo to a help in your pepper um, Yes,
because he's spicy. You know, he's a spicy dude. Yeah.

the injuries, you can't there's nothing to really complain about
with them. I mean, you know, some people feel as
though he can't deliver in the big games and different
things like that. I just never really subscribe to that. Like,
I know, he's had his moments where he came up short.
But and and everybody loves the reference to Super Bowl.

But as a defensive player, I will continue to say
this through the ages, as long as we ever bring
up the forty Niners game and them losing to Kansas City,
that defense all year long gave them a dominant effort,
especially up front, that led to them being able to
(38:27):
win games and make it all the way to the
super Bowl. You get to the Super Bowl. If an
offense gives a defense a tow u two possession game lead,
and that defense is what it's been up to that
point and they give up that to possession lead, then
to me, okay, we could say he missed the past
(38:50):
that could have got them the lead back whatever. But
as a defender, you give me a two possession lead
and and in the second half, out of way, you
got it. You gotta do your job, you gotta you
gotta preserve that victory. And to me, that's I don't
put that super Bowl on Jimmy G. I put it
on their defense. And also, if not from a Jimmy
(39:11):
G fan, if not being your pepper, if not for
the the third and a mile completion to Tyree Hill,
I mean, the forty Niners probably win that game. I mean,
if we're gonna be honest about it, I mean they were,
they were leading that game, they were playing well, and
then you know, Patrick Mahomes and Tyree Hill had that
big conversion on that wasp plays what they call it.

I know you were all over that because you watch well. Yeah,
I mean, you know I wasp um. Some people call bumblebee. Uh,
some people call it, you know, just a yellow jacket.
It just depends on it depends on your terminology, what
part of the country you're in speaking of before, how

So here's what happened. Uh, the other day I put
my I have one of those really cool uh out
back portable um bonfire pits. And I moved it directly
under the tree on that and I just burned. I

basically smoked him out of their house. I mean I
