Speaker 1 (00:02):
Is the best of two pros and a couple Joe
with lamar As rating Win and Jonas Knox on radio.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
We are back and we are fully loaded. B q's
back stick City in the house, rocking and rolling here
on this football Friday. How we feeling?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Let's go?

Speaker 4 (00:26):
What up?

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Really?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
I think we got screwed out last night on two
game sevens. We had an opportunity to land two game
sevens in the NBA playoffs, But thankfully the Detroit.

Speaker 5 (00:40):
Piston I did, I wanted to, yeah, and uh why
Thankfully the the Detroit Pistons decided to defecate down their
leg leading in that game at home.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Uh, thus not only to see the New York Knicks
and Jalen Brunson rip the life out of their bodies
there in front of that home crowd.

Speaker 6 (01:01):
So yeah, who does like a game seven?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I mean, even though most of the time they're sloppy
and they're you know, it's it's all about defense and
not offense, you get two game sevens.

Speaker 7 (01:12):
That's fun.

Speaker 8 (01:12):
Man.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
Really, I don't know, man, I look at this this
Knicks Piston series. I kind of felt like it was
a boring series, Like I'm it's it's like, to me,
I look at either one of these teams advancing is
a team that may not be good enough to win
in the next round, and both I feel that about

(01:38):
both teams. It's like I feel that about both teams.
So it's kind of like, all right, let's get through
this series. Let's get to the next series and get
get whatever team it is, which obviously is now the Knicks.
They'll they'll go home after this next round. And you

(01:58):
know that's that just kind of I don't know, I
just wasn't I wasn't super into this series.

Speaker 8 (02:06):
I don't know why.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
I know that the Pistons are, you know, kind of
they improved dramatically this year to get to where they're at.

Speaker 8 (02:15):
So you know, congrats on their season and to the Knicks.

Speaker 5 (02:19):
I mean, Knicks have been a team that's been able
to do this, you know, get out of the first
round or play well early on. But you know, saying
it's kind of feel like it's the same thing like
Brunton's battling injuries. He's going to be banged up and
he's going to be the catalyst too if they're going
to be able to play well. And I just don't

(02:41):
know how healthy, he's going to be going into the
next series. So I don't know. It was kind of
a boring series to me, and I'm kind of glad
it's over. But you know, Game seven, I guess you
would have enjoyed it.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah, he would have enjoyed it.

Speaker 9 (02:54):
I mean, Jonas, you love the gamble, you love to
throw some money into sort of thing, so especially in
the game seven working But I understand where LaVar is
coming from.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
I think I said this at the beginning of the
series too.

Speaker 9 (03:05):
I didn't feel like either team really faced a chance
against Boston the next round. But Jim and Brunts is
fun to watch. I mean that being said, like the
NBA playoffs are all about stars. When those stars show up,
Brunson was phenomenal last night. Uh, And so look, it's
it's an old school matchup if you will, rivalry if
you will, And I'm excited to watch it.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
So it would have been fun to see go Game seven.

Speaker 9 (03:29):
I understand what you're saying, but I'm still excited to
see what this next series actually has to bring. Like,
I give the next a shot in this one, even
though I think Boston's a much better team.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Is that because it would be better for you because
the in laws are all loss.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Yeah, they need they need some light at the end
of the tunnel. It's it's been pretty pretty tough of late.

Speaker 9 (03:52):
You know, it's like they've really you know, the from
the Red Sox to the Pats now without Belichick and
time Brady, the whole situation.

Speaker 8 (04:02):
I need.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
I need the Celtics to do something all right, just
so I can.

Speaker 9 (04:06):
Have a nice optimistic conversation about sports with the in laws.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Otherwise I want to be in a lot of trouble.

Speaker 9 (04:12):
I't have to you know, figuring a lot of trips
and different things out and try to make them happy.
And that is not where I want to be, especially
with the five kids. Just that's that cost adds up,
and it adds up over time.

Speaker 7 (04:22):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Now, Tom Thibodeau, he did speak about his superstar Jalen
Brunson the game winning shot last night in Detroit and
had this to say.

Speaker 8 (04:33):
That's what makes them so special. And you know we
talk about, you know, the all the.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Intangibles that it's his makeup and oftentimes you know, that's
that's where mistakes I think are made in the draft
and things like that, and there's it's easy to see
like how many points of guy scores or what physical
tools tools are, but when you look at the mental tools,
that's everything.

Speaker 7 (04:57):
So that was Tom Thibodau, t.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
O G, O G and Michal are going to have to,
like they are going to have to play their brains
out to be able to get out of the next round.
I don't I just don't see it. I don't see
them having enough to deal with what, you know, what
they're going to see next round. But they're going to
have to show up. You know, it can't just be
on on Brunson and and I think we we could,

(05:25):
you know, kind of even dovetail tel that into the
Clippers Nuggets game, like they you know, the defensive scheme
was to limit Nicola and and make other guys win it.
When Murray is on, it's it's a it's a dope,
it's a dope, dope situation for them when he's not.

(05:46):
If if the Clippers are playing the way they played
last night, and they have hard and playing the way
that Harden played, it's it's hard. It's hard to think
that they can go into this last game and be
able to win. And and so I don't know, man,
it's it's it's a it's a star driven league. And

(06:08):
if a star, if the three, if you have three
that can do it like at the highest of high levels,
and they can do it night in and night out,
just like you saw, which I don't Again, the more
and more I look at the Lakers game, I mean,
I do think it was a gaff.

Speaker 8 (06:24):
In terms of coaching. They chose.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
They chose to try to I don't know, out offense
the you know, the Timberwolves, and they they sacrifice length
for what the I guess maybe they felt would be
forced Anthony Edwards to be the one that beats us
and try to limit him and let's let's play some

(06:48):
offense on the other end of the court. And it
didn't work out for them, and and so to me,
I don't look at Rudy Gobert being like one of
the Big three outside of the way he rebound and
plays defense. But I wouldn't assume any other team is
going to try to defense them the way that the
Lakers did. So you got to pretty much have people

(07:09):
that can match up really well. I don't know that
the Knicks matchup well against Boston, and looking at and
looking at the game against the Clippers, and the Nuggets
hit into this game seven. Now that's a game seven
that's going to be truly interesting. Both of those teams
are are really scrapping and fighting for their playoff lives.

(07:32):
I think that one is a super entertaining one. The
storyline is good, and the matchups are good, you know,
and history isn't on the Nuggets side to be able
to win a game seven. So it'll be interesting to
see if they're able to pull through and get up
out of there, because you know, I would assume that
people would have thought, well, I don't know, some people

(07:53):
really are high on the you know, the Clippers until
they're not. But I would have thought the Nuggets would
have been able to get out the first round.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
David Adaman, the head coach of the Denver Nuggets, he
spoke about the opportunity to host a game seven. Obviously,
down the stretch they won some games to go ahead
and be able to have that advantage heading into this
one against the Clippers. But here was the Denver Nuggets
head coach, David Adaman, who just took over about an

(08:21):
hour and a half ago as the headman there in Denver.

Speaker 7 (08:25):
Let's take it.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
Listen, we talked about it. You know after the game.

Speaker 10 (08:28):
You win those last three games not just to stay
out of the plan, but to get the home court
in Game seven, bottom line, And we earned it.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
And that's what I told him in there. You've earned
this opportunity.

Speaker 10 (08:37):
You earned the opportunity tonight to try to close it
out because of the way you played in the series
to get to three to two. But now you have
the opportunity to go home in front of your home
fans and advance.

Speaker 6 (08:47):
And so you know, you play all year for that.

Speaker 10 (08:49):
We got that opportunity and we're very, very excited to
go back out there and play again.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
LA could really use one team to advance in the postseason.
The Kings just got clipped last night in the NHL playoffs.
They had they had a lead in that series, and
they also defecated down their skates and then the Lakers
were totally outclassed and outmatched in their series. The Clippers
are LA's only hope right now to make a playoff run,

(09:16):
which is not which is not a comfortable is that?

Speaker 7 (09:19):
No?

Speaker 3 (09:20):
No, based on history, that's not where the LA fans
want to be.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Right It's just like it is one of those fan
bases where you're just like, all right, so what's gonna
go wrong?

Speaker 8 (09:29):
All right?

Speaker 6 (09:29):
Based on this what's gonna go wrong?

Speaker 11 (09:31):
Here?

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Here we go again.

Speaker 7 (09:32):
Yeah, it's one of those one of those scenarios.

Speaker 9 (09:35):
So like when Lee grabs one of those bean burritos,
like Wyley, we know exactly how this is gonna end.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
All right.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
By the way, I'm just saying, there's you know, there
is there is that Lee. When's the last time you
rifle to bean burrito? Just for the hell of it,
just for for ss and giggles.

Speaker 12 (09:56):
I had a burrito uha, bean burrito?

Speaker 13 (10:01):
Well it was it was bean and cheese.

Speaker 12 (10:03):
You gotta have some cheese b r C Beans, rice
and cheese burrito earlier in the week from where Home
Made Just delicious?

Speaker 3 (10:13):
You made it?

Speaker 8 (10:13):
What kind of beans?

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Pinto?

Speaker 13 (10:16):
They were black beans?

Speaker 6 (10:19):
That's a stunner. Pino Are any other kind of beans
in that house?

Speaker 13 (10:26):
Actually have three or four different kinds of beans right now.

Speaker 12 (10:29):
I got some baked beans, some pinto beans, yeah, some
some some black beans.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
I know you were dating again, Los mask On, is
that you know?

Speaker 14 (10:40):
I thought about this the other day because me andly
hung out the other night. And you know what, you
as soon as he sat in my car.

Speaker 8 (10:48):
Say that against.

Speaker 12 (10:51):
Yeah, I let one go, I think yeah twice.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
Oh yeah, you guys went to that that dump? What
was it? Pineapple Tanderine saloon or saloon?

Speaker 8 (11:04):
I mean, this is more interesting than the games last night?
How how how did that go? What was that all about?

Speaker 13 (11:10):
Huh?

Speaker 6 (11:11):
It was good.

Speaker 13 (11:12):
We watched Laker game. The burger was dry, very dry berger.
We shared a burger and wings.

Speaker 8 (11:17):
Yeah, Howard wings wings were good.

Speaker 12 (11:21):
We got some old Bay wings and some some medium wings.

Speaker 8 (11:24):
Show them buffalocks. You are funny?

Speaker 4 (11:26):
What?

Speaker 9 (11:28):
Yeah, I didn't want to draw attention to its.

Speaker 8 (11:36):
Nothing. You're good. You're good.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
So what what was the So why would you go
there to watch the game?

Speaker 8 (11:47):
Now?

Speaker 12 (11:47):
Well, we actually went to go to a different place,
but they ended up having like a live band there
and it was pretty packs, so we ended up going
down the road to there.

Speaker 8 (11:58):
Showed her Frank a date. Was this a date?

Speaker 4 (12:01):
No?

Speaker 14 (12:02):
Lo, No, I don't know why a man and a
woman can't hang out and then just be hanging out.
I wanted to go a.

Speaker 8 (12:07):
Man and a woman can just hang out, but go and.

Speaker 14 (12:10):
Have dinner and I don't have a lot of friends.
So I hit up Lee and I was like, Hey, Lee,
do you want.

Speaker 8 (12:16):
To go have like live right next to one another?

Speaker 14 (12:19):
No, but I come this way from my way to work,
so it's kind of just, you know, on my way.

Speaker 6 (12:26):
And I was like, do you want to split up?

Speaker 14 (12:28):
And he was like, maybe I can get away from my.

Speaker 13 (12:32):
Life?

Speaker 3 (12:33):
And uh, you say it?

Speaker 8 (12:35):
Wife or life? What was that? Okay? Life?

Speaker 6 (12:39):
Okay, he's a busy man.

Speaker 8 (12:41):
Okay.

Speaker 14 (12:42):
Yeah, so he came and hang out with me for
a bit.

Speaker 13 (12:45):
Yeah, watch the Laker game in my car twice.

Speaker 7 (12:51):
Burger.

Speaker 6 (12:52):
I was so dry.

Speaker 7 (12:53):
You're gonna work on that Alle Yeah.

Speaker 13 (13:00):
I was talking a big game too on that burger.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
The talk is not what makes the juicy takes more
than that.

Speaker 14 (13:13):
I was so hungry and he was like, Oh, they
got food.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
You got to grab that.

Speaker 8 (13:22):
You gotta get it going.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Corress that thing before you get in there, right.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
I never I never thought of grabbing a burger at
Pineapple Saloon.

Speaker 7 (13:30):
I'll be honest with you.

Speaker 6 (13:31):
Didn't that place almost, by the way, shouldn't didn't that place.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Wasn't it illegally open during COVID or something like that didn'
they get shut down.

Speaker 12 (13:38):
The owner made the rounds even on national news about
you know, restaurants trying to open up again.

Speaker 13 (13:46):
I don't think they got shut down. There was another
restaurant all ten horn.

Speaker 6 (13:48):
Flat horned flashes.

Speaker 12 (13:50):
Also another great bar with a great burger by the.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Way, that place that they were reckless. They were like,
oh you're shutting us down, no problem, And second everybody
turned around, they opened right back up.

Speaker 12 (14:00):
The guy would the owner would get arrested, get let out,
and then he would immediately go back to the bar,
get a generate, because they actually cut off the power
to the place.

Speaker 13 (14:08):
He would bring a generator.

Speaker 9 (14:09):
Cut cut god, cut through the people are trying to
survive and have a business happening.

Speaker 13 (14:17):
They put a fence around the entire establishment.

Speaker 6 (14:20):
He would thanks, whatever happened to that? Is that play
still close?

Speaker 12 (14:26):
They got they got sold from under him. They they're
almost going to reopen. It's going to be renamed the Corner,
But it still looks exactly the same. They have like
this big saloon doors, big mural on the side, makes
it look like a stagecoach kind of spot.

Speaker 7 (14:39):
What a clown show. Wow, that's too bad?

Speaker 8 (14:43):
Is that the one on Sunset.

Speaker 13 (14:46):
I know which one you're talking about, but no, it's
in Burbak.

Speaker 8 (14:49):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (14:49):
Okay, Well, I do have some good news for you
guys here.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
I know the games were a little bit lackluster last night,
outside of the finish in the Detroit New York game.

Speaker 8 (14:58):
I finish, Yeah, I don't want to take anything from it.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
I just didn't feel like there was very much electricity
or energy surrounding that series. But there is something in
the West. So clips clips, you know, they delivered you
want you know, it's a series.

Speaker 7 (15:15):
If you want some energy, I got it for you.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
Give us the energy, John, Yeah, come on Friday.

Speaker 15 (15:27):
Yeah Yeah, that that grin Burger. Yeah, Friday's.

Speaker 7 (15:50):
Juice.

Speaker 8 (15:55):
Alright, let's get Cue up out of here.

Speaker 7 (15:59):
It's getting back.

Speaker 5 (16:00):
Yeah for you, Eddie, Friday Night is a murder Friday.

Speaker 6 (16:07):
Trap Berger, It is a football Friday here on the show.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
We do have you know a situation to address here
on the show the Bill Belichick Jordan Hudson fiasco that
has gone on that has gotten ut fiasco based on
some of the scenes, responses details of her portfolio. We

(16:53):
talked yesterday about how The New York Post made sure
to point out that her mom worked at a sex
shop following the closure of their fishing and what. Yeah,
she was like an antique sex toy shop or something
like that.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Well, what's I mean? They aren't a lot of antiques
that you know. Yeah, people are freaky back in the day.

Speaker 6 (17:13):
That's a good point.

Speaker 9 (17:14):
I'm just saying they're living out there and all lonely
and hey, like a farm and figure out things to do.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Hey, to you, that's a chandelier. To me, that's a
table for five, you know what I mean? Whoa to Jonas?
You know he looks at that as a pepper mill.
How long you've been waiting to use that one, Jonas?
It's like, but listen, that that's part of her, that's
part of her background. And so that was people made
sure to point that out.

Speaker 9 (17:43):
Why does that have to be attracted to then her
Like now she's all of a sudden working at the
antique sex shop.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
You know what I mean, is that even verified? Is
that true?

Speaker 2 (17:52):
That was the reporting from the New York Post And
I'm assuming so again is that true? I don't know?

Speaker 6 (17:59):
Lee shaking take question the New York Post. Have you
been to that sex shop? Is that where you're shaking
your head?

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Oh?

Speaker 13 (18:04):
Yeah, do my Christmas shopping there?

Speaker 4 (18:06):
No?

Speaker 13 (18:06):
Yeah, from what I understand, I believe she owns the shop.
Am I wrong on that? I'm looking for verification, but yes.

Speaker 9 (18:13):
Based on your lack of response last nightly, yes, there's
a chance. Based on response.

Speaker 13 (18:17):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (18:19):
It was a little delayed.

Speaker 13 (18:21):
Yes, she owns the shop.

Speaker 6 (18:24):
Okay, good for her.

Speaker 8 (18:26):
So now man.

Speaker 13 (18:29):
In Hancock, Maine.

Speaker 8 (18:30):
There you go. Is it really what you say?

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (18:33):
No, it's actually in Cape Cod provincetone is the shop.

Speaker 8 (18:38):
You thought it was? I'd be like high end? Huh.
This is like high end sex toys.

Speaker 13 (18:43):
And a museum. Sex toy shop and museum.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
Hey man, it's an honest living Now. This is also
uh spilled over into other members of the North Caroline
the North Carolina football program.

Speaker 6 (19:03):
Mike Lombardi, who's the is his title?

Speaker 8 (19:06):
GM?

Speaker 6 (19:06):
There is that basically what they're calling?

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Yeah, I believe that's his technical title.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Okay, so I feel like he's acting as the GM
at the moment he was contacted. You can tell by
hearing this that he was not expecting this call. But
he was contacted by Barstool Sports host Kirk Menahan on
The Kirk Menahan Show yesterday, and it went like.

Speaker 16 (19:25):
This, Hello, Mike, it's Kirk Miniahan form Barstool Sports. Mike,
it's Kirk Minihan, Barstool Sports.

Speaker 8 (19:33):
How are you.

Speaker 6 (19:35):
I'm good?

Speaker 16 (19:36):
Good, Kirk live the tape. We have questions we're trying
to figure out out. We've been talking about it. We
talked about portnoim and they go, can you explain to
us what this woman's role is? And with you and
c we're just confused.

Speaker 10 (19:50):
Actually, I'm in a meeting right now going over recruiting,
so that's kind of what my focus is right now.

Speaker 16 (19:55):
How significant role does she have with the recruiting at
this point?

Speaker 6 (19:57):
Does she Is she the lead recruiter or no, I'm
in recruiting.

Speaker 16 (20:05):
Yeah, and I'm working on that.

Speaker 8 (20:06):
So that's about it. Kirk.

Speaker 16 (20:08):
Thanks, all right, Mike Hangan, they're good to talk to you. Yeah,
I've gotta laugh.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
He picked me in mine But I think we ended.

Speaker 11 (20:16):
Okay, so, uh could you imagine can you imagine one
of us calls the other and we say, hey, uh
LaVar Arrington here.

Speaker 9 (20:26):
It's a pretty Quinn live the tape right into the
like did did Michael port you have any idea? Like
he was picking up the phone and getting involved in
So that's not gonna go.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
And that is a true radio professional Kirk who did
a long time in Boston, because he let him know
you're on the air, and he did it quickly to
where they can't be You're on there, said just Mi
and we're rolling here. Look I've done a little bit
of a one eighty on this whole thing. I'm team
Belichick here, okay, okay, teams for this. We do not

(21:01):
know what her intentions are. All we know is that
she seems to have a lot of influence, and she
seems to have built up quite a portfolio, and her
mom has an interesting employment background.

Speaker 8 (21:15):
Other than that, nobia mess with Bill. Other than that,
she don't play around about Bill Belichick. Man, I mean,
don't leave that out.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
That's an important What's what's the problem here? I mean
love is love, okay, and it's a little awkward but
come on, I.

Speaker 9 (21:30):
Think I think we're missing the bigger picture here. Is
this the football version of pretty woman? Potentially? Like are
we are we missing out on what could it could
be one of the greatest love stories of all time.

Speaker 5 (21:40):
I wonder who he took her from when he van
de caamped her ass about it at water right?

Speaker 8 (21:45):
I mean?

Speaker 2 (21:46):
But by the way, I do think if the timelines
match up. When he met he still had his longtime girlfriend,
So she came in like a wrecking.

Speaker 8 (21:57):
Ball, like like a wrecking.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
My thing is, look, have you guys ever been to
money Carlo.

Speaker 7 (22:07):
Have you guys ever been over there the casino? Uh no,
the destination? Okay, okay, anyway, I swear to got it.

Speaker 6 (22:21):
I had no idea.

Speaker 9 (22:23):
What I'm trying to point out is if you go
over there, this will be more common than not. You know,
you see an older man with a younger woman and
it's it's just part of the deal over there, like
it's it's regulated, it's you see it all the time.
And so I remember at first it's a bit jarring

(22:43):
coming from the stage and I used to seeing this,
or when you do see it, you're like, oh, I
kind of know what's going on there. Well, then when
you see it everywhere, you're like, oh, okay, like that's
what's happening here, got it.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
I'm just I'm just not ever one to judge, you know,
if if they want to have a really and ship,
they love each other, so be it.

Speaker 9 (23:03):
Like I'm not going to sit there and try to
break anything down. If she's playing a more prominent role
than most realizing UNC's football program, maybe that's good for
other women out there, you know, try to get their
foot in the door and try to you know, become
you know into sports and football and operations and all
that stuff.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
Whatever she's technically in charge of.

Speaker 9 (23:23):
I know it was I think initially communications and it's
kind of evolved, it feels like but regardless, I mean,
he's got his he's over top of all this.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
He's probably on top of that.

Speaker 9 (23:36):
But the general, the general point is like why do
we care about this so much? Like why can't we
let him be happy if this is what he wants.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
To do, Because he's Bill Belichick, He's just he's He's
aren't the right to have this type of attention. I mean,
this is what people people who have accomplished at the
level of that high of level. They command that type
of attention, And I don't know, I don't know what
the craze is or what the.

Speaker 8 (24:09):
Infatuation is on when things like this happen.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
It's like people thrive off of getting news like this
or being able to say, Bill Belichick dates a woman
that's fifty years younger than them.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
Hey, God blessing.

Speaker 8 (24:28):
I mean, that's what I'm saying. He pulled it off.
He pulled it off.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
Probably most likely there's a ton of dudes out there
that's wondering or saying the usual thing about what they
say about athletes and people in athletics is if you
weren't in athletics, you wouldn't be able to get that girl.
So then the infatuation becomes about how you're able to
do something they can't do.

Speaker 8 (24:53):
Like, to me, that's what I think it stems from.
It's jealousy.

Speaker 5 (24:56):
I think a lot of the people out here that
are still talking about this whole thing because it really
hasn't like what And I know a lot of people
are like making the comparisons, like what makes Bill Belichick
different from Shennon Sharp, Like they should both be in
Like no one is a girlfriend and one is you know,
seemingly unless it comes something different comes out with Belichick seemingly.

Speaker 8 (25:20):
I mean one was paid help, you know, and I don't.
I mean he's gone to.

Speaker 5 (25:24):
Awards's, He's walked red carpets with this young lady, like
he claims her like this is his shorty. I mean
he's doing things he's never done. He's doing yoga poses
and fishing for mermaids and all kinds of different things
that I just don't think Bill Belichick would have ever done.
So he claims her like like that's his people, whereas

(25:47):
and I think that people should understand that that, Like
it seems like he's really into her.

Speaker 8 (25:51):
So yeah, I'm with you because I don't have no
jealousy about it.

Speaker 5 (25:55):
I don't feel as though he's done something that I
wouldn't be able to do or anything like that. I
just don't feel like there's any reason to pass any
judgments on him. I mean, there's an initial reaction, there's
a shock and a reaction. I have a son that's
older than the woman he's dating, Like, and I'm only
forty six. I have a son older than the woman

(26:17):
he's dating.

Speaker 8 (26:18):
But does that like bother me? As long as it's
not my daughter, it doesn't bother me, So we're good.
By the way, what are you good for me?

Speaker 7 (26:26):
What do you think it was like?

Speaker 5 (26:27):
For?

Speaker 2 (26:28):
You know, people are just like a nice little stroll
on the beach and they look over and like, is
that Bill Belichick dressed like the vandicamp's logo and is
she a mermaid? Are they taking pictures?

Speaker 6 (26:40):
Like you mentionine that, like like wait, what what is
happening here?

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Everybody has got ig on the brain nowadays, and Belichick
fell for it and he just keeps rolling with it.
By the way, his book tour continues. They're going to
NYU coming up on Tuesday, I believe. So they're not
gonna let this Nick Lyndime CBS interview stop them from
what they're trying to do, which is pushed the book
and hopefully she's there and they'll crack a couple of jokes.

Speaker 9 (27:09):
Was that Sunday morning when that interview took place? Yeah,
when it aired, which just that was it was a
doozy for a Sunday. You know, usually people are getting up,
some people getting ready to go to church, or she's
kind of taking it slow.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
On your off day. There on the weekend.

Speaker 9 (27:24):
I don't know, maybe you're turning up likely and grab
it a uh, I don't know, something bloody Mary or
a screwdriver.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
But I just I was like this a lot, Like they.

Speaker 9 (27:33):
Were just all like immediately diving into his personal life,
and I was more curious to see, like what he
was talking about about the program and al it compares
to what he did in New England or what he
sees in the differences in college football. And it was nothing,
nothing like that. I was like, oh, all right, definitely
took a.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Different turn there, by the way, some of those road
games and some of those road crowds this year are
going to have a field day with that. With him
and his girlfriend in this whole situation, they're probably gonna
dress like fishermen.

Speaker 8 (28:01):
They're not going to do anything that that man isn't
prepared to handle.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Well yeah, I mean, and the fun you don't think
they've done stuff in the past us and the fun
he's had material, I don't.

Speaker 5 (28:14):
I don't think he cares like that's a flex Like
y'all said, y'all will here sweating my chick, Like that's
my people, y'all here sweating me and sweating me because
of her?

Speaker 8 (28:26):
Like, who else am I supposed to deal with?

Speaker 5 (28:31):
Y'all kick rocks like I'm Bill Belichick, Like I win,
That's what I do.

Speaker 8 (28:39):
I win.

Speaker 5 (28:40):
Could say like she's a bad looking Like if she
was young and just didn't like, just looked homely and
you know, like, just it be, it wouldn't be the same.
It was the same reaction.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
True, But it shouldn't matter how she looks.

Speaker 6 (28:55):
If she was like she, if she was less attractive,
North Carolina should fire him.

Speaker 5 (29:03):
If she was less attractive, wouldn't nobody even care? Yeah,
they wouldn't even care. But the fact that she's not
the fact that superficially, the fact that she's actually a
pretty good looking person makes.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
A pretty good looking.

Speaker 8 (29:20):
She's pretty good looking.

Speaker 7 (29:21):
I'm with you if you say extremely, I mean, okay, I.

Speaker 8 (29:26):
Mean, I'm not trying to like Gock over his his people.

Speaker 5 (29:30):
I'm just saying if she was pretty good looking chick like,
and it is what it is, And if she wasn't,
wouldn't nobody be making no big deal about it?

Speaker 3 (29:38):
But but she is.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
If she was hating, if she wasn't attractive, I would
have lost all respect for him.

Speaker 5 (29:44):
I would, I mean, why why go that young if
you're not going to go attracted? And to all the
ugly women out there, I'm sorry if you ugly, I
ain't got nothing to do with it. But the bottom
line is is that Bill Belichick probably wouldn't want you
to be the bottom line.

Speaker 6 (29:58):
Like he would lose my Hall of Fame vote.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Oh, I hain't gotten with.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
Dang.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
I mean.

Speaker 5 (30:14):
How many how many have we seen Tom Brady mess with?
I mean, yeah, it's just the Patriot away. Clearly they
embraced the Patriot Away. Yeah, Lee, what's your take on this?

Speaker 13 (30:30):
I got nothing. I'm good on this one. Live and
let live, man, live and let love.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
Yeah, what what's the saying?

Speaker 8 (30:38):
You said? This should be the last person saying why
and let love?

Speaker 6 (30:46):
What's some problem?

Speaker 5 (30:47):
There's there's everything but that taking place in Lee's personal life. Well,
and he should be happy that the live part is
still part of his deal. Yeah, he hasn't been un
alive Ballsley the way he live and let live, let love. Okay,

(31:09):
it's a flex like that.

Speaker 8 (31:11):
Just be clear.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
Bill Belichick walked out did the Walk of shame, half
naked with the with the white silver taco meat out
and and had no problem with it. And then it
services that this is the person he's dating. I mean,
Bill ain't playing around, that's all. He ain't playing around.

(31:33):
And apparently he's got a ton of personality and and
this young lady is literally watchdogging him like we're not
doing this, We're not doing this. Move on?

Speaker 8 (31:46):
Oh really?

Speaker 5 (31:47):
Oh done? Like she ain't playing around. Don't mess with Bill,
don't do it. And she got the energy for you
more than enough. She's gonna come right at your chin. Yeah,
don't be playing with this. Don't disturb this groove.

Speaker 8 (32:03):
We're good. Better not, We're good over here.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
I'm messing around, by the way, it is Two Pros
and a Cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 8 (32:15):
What do you guys?

Speaker 5 (32:17):
Everybody went out start, everybody went out, started getting bandicapped, fish,
fish and chips.

Speaker 6 (32:25):
Y'all got the fish sticks.

Speaker 8 (32:28):
I'll save it, freeze flying off. I'm going to get
what Coach Belichick got though.

Speaker 6 (32:35):
It's like it's like toilet paper during COVID on at
a time only one.

Speaker 1 (32:43):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six a m. Eastern three am Pacific.
Is it a horse knave or horse crap?

Speaker 5 (33:04):
All right?

Speaker 2 (33:05):
It's Kentucky Derby time. And what that means is we've
got a list of names here. It's either an actual
horse name card it's completely made up and it's horse crap.
We've got LeVar versus Brady LeVar. You are the defending champion,
so you get the honors here. Would you like to

(33:25):
go first or go second?

Speaker 8 (33:30):
Let's let him go first?

Speaker 3 (33:33):
Sticks picks so good?

Speaker 8 (33:35):
All right?

Speaker 2 (33:36):
So Brady, now din't Just to be clear on this,
these are all if it's an actual name of a horse.
These are horses not running in the Kentucky Derby, but
they are running at Churchhill Downs this weekend. All right,
So is this a horse name or is this horse crap?
Brady Quinn up first, and the first name for you, sir,
is table flirt.

Speaker 9 (33:58):
Okay, all right, that's a tough one because that could
be misconstrued as any one of our members of our crew.
All right, it could be Jonas LeVar myself. We've eaten
out enough. We're pretty friendly when we sit down to
eat and grub together. Table flirts. I'm gonna go with

(34:18):
horse name.

Speaker 6 (34:21):
That is correct.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Congratulations Brady, you are on the board, and we go
over to LeVar. Now, who's next up?

Speaker 6 (34:26):
LeVar? Horse name or horse crap? Fall down drunk.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
By you one last year, Jonas, and I appreciate and
I appreciate the easy loable on this one.

Speaker 8 (34:40):
But I'm gonna say it is not a horse name,
so's horse crap. It's horse crap.

Speaker 6 (34:49):
That is corrast.

Speaker 8 (34:52):
That was that was a lob, That was a love.
I'll take it all right.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
So things will get a little bit more difficult here
for Brady Quinn, who was next? Stuff here the horse
name or horse crap, Brady Quinn, the name for you
is Trot Shapiro.

Speaker 9 (35:09):
First off, shout out congrats to Scott Shapiro, our boss,
or for the Minnesota Timberwolves getting to the second round.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
This is the third time in like thirty years or something.

Speaker 9 (35:20):
I think he was sweeting about it. Yeah, in fact,
happy for you, Scott. Minnesota's got a shot and maybe
to make a little run here. So we'll see that
is a horse crap though it's not a horse name, correct,
That is horse crap. Trot Shapiro not an actual navable horse.
Shapiro over to LeVar Arrington.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
LeVar, you are next up here on this edition of
Horse Name or Horse Crap, and the name for you
is naked Eye.

Speaker 5 (35:48):
Naked Eye sounds like it should be a horse's name.
So I'm going to lean towards what is it?

Speaker 8 (35:54):
What horse what or horse?

Speaker 6 (35:56):
Horse name or horse crap.

Speaker 8 (35:57):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with horse name.

Speaker 6 (36:00):
That is correct.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Congratulations, LeVar. You guys are perfect thus far. So now
we go back over to Brady Quinn. Here, Brady, the
name I just gave LeVar was naked Eye. The name
I've got for you is naked Guy.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
That sounds more like Lee on a Wednesday night. I'm
gonna say that's horse crap.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
Jonas, You're correct, You are correct, and you guys are
perfect here. By the way, I don't know why Lee
caught astray out of all people here on this show.

Speaker 6 (36:30):
We're trying to have.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
Your own, all right, So LeVar, next up for you
here on this edition of Horse Name or Horse Crap?

Speaker 6 (36:39):
Lee dirt knapp.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Out a bunch here.

Speaker 8 (36:48):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with with horse crap.

Speaker 6 (36:52):
You are well the perfect there.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
You guys are off and running here on this edition
of horse name or horse crap?

Speaker 8 (36:58):
Is it it actually the easiest one? I will admit
that was the easiest one ever in the history so
far I took number one.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Is it an actual horse name of a horse racing
at Churchill Downs this weekend? Or completely made up? Next
up is Brady Quinn. We are tied at three apiece.

Speaker 6 (37:12):
Brady. The name for you, sir, is diddy Up.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
Oh no, I mean, I hope, I hope that's not
a horse's name. I really do.

Speaker 7 (37:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
Maybe maybe he's got one running in there? Is he
in jail? Where's he at right now?

Speaker 2 (37:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (37:32):
Yes, he's just turned down his spaking, Oh turn down,
all right.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
I'm gonna say horse crap at least I hope it's
horse crap.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
It's not a name that is correct, Brady Quinn. That
is a made up horse name. So we go back
over to Lvar here solely from cuff up LeVar. The
next LeVar. The next name for you here is Ivory
and Ebony.

Speaker 5 (37:58):
Oh so it's a black and white horse mixed together
that gave you Ivory and Ebony.

Speaker 8 (38:06):
I'm going to go with horse name.

Speaker 6 (38:09):
You are good, sir. That is correct.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
All right, Brady, we are getting late in the game here,
and speaking of which, the name for you her The
name for you here, Brady is too late to castraight.

Speaker 6 (38:20):
Horse name or horse craft that just that just took
the cake.

Speaker 8 (38:24):
That just took the cake.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Horse crap, LeVar final one here to tie the game.
The name for you, sir, is into pleasure. Horse name
or horse craft.

Speaker 5 (38:38):
Oh that's a goot one. That's a good one. I'm
gonna say horse. I'm gonna say horse nag.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
That is correct. We have tied it, which brings us
to our tiebreaker horse to try and win.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (39:00):
This year's edition of horse name or horsecrap. So here's
how it works. I'm going to give the name. It's
either the name of a horse racing at Churchill Downs
this weekend, or it's completely made up. In order to

(39:20):
take a guess, you have to ring in buzz in
with your first name. You can't shout out horse name,
horse crap, it doesn't count. You've got to buzz in
with your name. Your name is your buzzer, and that's
how we will decide who will get the opportunity to
win the game. And the twenty twenty five Kentucky Derby
edition of Horse Name or Horse Crap. So, if you
guys are ready, I have the tiebreaker name for you

(39:43):
here all right, here we go, Brady, Are you ready?

Speaker 3 (39:48):
I think I'm ready?

Speaker 8 (39:49):
Yeah, the name is hold on, hold on, hold on,
you said, Brady. Is he ready?

Speaker 5 (39:55):
As if you're singular singling him out?

Speaker 8 (39:59):
No, no, no, for him to do it. I was
making sure that both of us having to say name.

Speaker 6 (40:04):
Yeah, your name is your buzzer. I will give the
name of.

Speaker 8 (40:06):
The horse because I wasn't sure what you did right there?
You all right, Okay, you.

Speaker 9 (40:10):
Have to explain to him because he because when LeVar
is not here, that's when we do the headliner, lie,
and that's how we do the tiebreaker on that. Yeah,
so that's a tiebreak.

Speaker 8 (40:18):
I got it, all right, got it?

Speaker 6 (40:20):
So here we go it, get ready, Here we go.
Hands on the buzzer.

Speaker 8 (40:26):
The name is.

Speaker 6 (40:30):
Orchids of Hasia.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
Brady, Brady Quinn, you're in first, Brady, Is that a
horse name or horse crap?

Speaker 3 (40:40):
That sounds like horse crap? The Jonas.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
Orchids of Asia is made up, believe it or not.
And Brady Quinn you are the winner of this year's edition.
That horse name or horse Crap?

Speaker 8 (40:56):
I'm out. I'm never doing anything. Why not? It was great.

Speaker 7 (41:02):
I just love how Jonas really flexed his creativity.

Speaker 3 (41:04):
With those names this year. I mean, would you have one?
One horse? One actual horse is a part of.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
It, Table, flirt, naked eye. It was really weak into pleasure.
I thought that one was gonna trip LeVar up into pleasure.
Sounds like something would be and Ivory and ebony. That
was an actual horse name. It was a good one
racing later on today at Churchill Downs. So congratulations, there's

(41:29):
the there's the wind for Brady Quinn here on horse
Name or Horse Crap.
