(00:22):
Fox Sports Radio's gonna go ahead and bring in frank
Is Sola. He's at the frank Is Sola on Twitter.
Frank I know that that that that things have been wacky,
but we finally appear to have a lot of momentum
in terms of sports coming back, and now I believe

(00:43):
the next few days everybody has to let it be
known whether they're going to return in the NBA or not.
Avery Bradley has said no, uh Davis uh bertands I
believe Davis Bertans however you want to pronounce it, has
also said it, who else out there are you hearing
any rumors about? And will any of them be like
a wow moment for NBA fans when he terms to

(01:07):
when it comes to who might or might not come back.
The only one I had heard that Bradley Beale wasn't
too drilled about going. And if you think about it,
every Bradley is a little bit different than some of
the other players because he's a rotation player for the
best team in the Western Conference, whereas Davis Pertends was
playing for the Washington Wizards. Do they have a chance
to make the playoffs? Perhaps they do, but they have

(01:29):
a terrible record. They have a lot of ground to
make up to just even get into that eight nine game.
And he's a free agent. He's had two knee surgeries already,
so he's saying, you know what, I'll forfeit the five
thousand dollars that I would be making by going down there,
and I'm just gonna gamble on myself for for this summer,
and Troy, if I should say, it's going to be

(01:51):
the fall to sign a free agent contract. What's interesting.
You have a bunch of these players now on the
seclement of Kings, Alex Lend, Jabari Parker, Buddy Healed, and
I'm pretty sure all those guys expect to go down
to UH to Orlando to play. So even guys on Sacramento,
which is gonna have to fight to make the playoffs.
But Avery Bradley is probably the more interesting one, just

(02:12):
because he's a rotation player. He was kind of outspoken
about going down there and now he's not gonna go. Um.
Does it seem like things have calmed down in terms
of NBA players talking about the bubble? I mean, we
saw the Kyrie Irving explosion where he's like, oh, we
need to start our own league just doesn't make sense.

(02:32):
But for the last several days or maybe even the
last week, it doesn't seem like there's been as much
negativity being pumped out there. Has that sort of we
shouldn't do this, uh gambit failed or do you think
it might circle back up? I think it speaks to,
you know, Adam Silver's relationship with Michelle Roberts, who's the
executive director of the players Union, and the fact that

(02:54):
Chris Paul is involved. And let's remember Lebron James is
the most powerful player in the end be a and
notice how quiet he's been outspoken on things that are
going on outside of basketball. But he has not waited
when since Kyrie said what he said, you know, or
I should say, since the reports came out Lebron never
weighed in on that Lebron wants to go there. It's

(03:15):
gonna be a major Lebron is in a different position
than every player in the league. He's played in more
playoff games than anybody that currently in the League's played
more minutes than anybody. You know, everyone's gonna have to sacrifice,
and he's he's willing to put in three months because,
let's face it, there's a chance that he could make
the finals. So he's willing to be there the three
months and go down. Here's the interesting thing, like the

(03:37):
guy like Jamal Crawford. I think Jamal now is, is
he thirty nine or forty? He wants to he wants
a team to sign him in the worst way. He's
been out of the league all year. So here's a
guy who would be the oldest guy in the bubble.
He's hoping that the team signs him. He's willing to go.
And then you have j R. Smith. Now, I know
that JR. Likes to play golf, so that's part of

(03:58):
beating Orlando. He'll enjoy that. But think about j R.
Smith in a bubble. If there was any guy that
we can envision, like maybe sneaking out Jr. Fifth kind
of personality. He's like Mr. His kid, but he wants
to go. So I think it's it's interesting that you
think about certain guys that have like a ton of
money and aren't gonna play, like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Urban.

(04:21):
Kyrie doesn't really want to go, But here's a guy
like j R. Smith who wants to go down here.
He wants to join up with Lebron and make a
run of a championship. What did you uh so so
last question on the NBA for you, and we're talking
with FRANKI Sola at the FRANKI Sola, who do you
think should be favored? I mean, this is basically I
know it's an extension of the season in terms of

(04:42):
where people are likely to be seated for the playoffs,
but this is really like a whole new season, and
with all the time that's been off, and with all
the guys that have set out, no fans present, the
Orlando bubble, it's really almost more like a tournament than
it is a an NBA champion. Who do you think
should the Lakers be favored? Should the should the box?

(05:02):
How do you analyze this? You know, it's it's strange.
I actually think that the Clippers could be the team.
Like Kauai is such like a flat liner in terms
of his like emotion, Like you could just see him
sitting in perfectly down there in Orlando for two or
three months. You know, they did beat the Lakers twice
during the season. And the one thing about the Lakers
which is gonna concern you, I'm sure probably concerns Lebron.

(05:24):
He would never admit it, you know, with JaVale McGee Jr.
Dion Waiders Twite Hour, they got some you know, like
wacky guys that are gonna go down there, and a
lot of a lot of it is going to have
to do with focusing in on what you know your
job is. And I just gotta I just get a
feeling that the Clippers could be the team and the
fact that they did beat the Lakers twice during the

(05:47):
regular season. I would bet you that for Lebron that's
the team that he fears the most. What did you think,
let's shift gears year, What did you think of the
entire Bubba Wallace mess with NASCAR? Yesterday? We had poll
question up. I was saying, you know, who do you
think is most to blame the Bubba Wallace and his team,
NASCAR or the sports media. I think we had fifty

(06:09):
thousand people voting that poll and the sports media one
by a substantial margin. And I think it's because and
you've been doing this for a long time, but somewhere
along the way, and I'm curious if you can if
you noticed this pivot point in your career. We moved
from covering the news to covering what we think the

(06:31):
news might be. And that's a big difference that I
think fans kind of have noticed. But I feel like
when stories like Bubba Wallace come out, that's where it
really becomes paramount because you're not talking about this investigation
or what the facts are gonna uncover. You've already moved
on to covering the news as you think or want

(06:53):
the news to be, as opposed to the actual news. Well,
I will say this, I did actually watch the beginning
of the race to watch the end. The end was
actually pretty interesting, so they got me there to watch it.
I think what happened was when the story comes out,
originally the story brace and you hear it, so your
initial reaction is wow, that's that's that's terrible if it's true,

(07:15):
and you know, everyone is outraged, but it seems like
there's this race to be the person who's more outraged
than the next person exactly because then when the when
you heard the reporters explain it, you know, these are
things that I don't know. I didn't realize that. You know,
it's very limited access to that garage, and then, of
course because of the coronavirus is even less people there

(07:38):
are no I think I guess had five thousand fans there,
but fans aren't allowed to have access. So right away
that the general consensus was whatever happened, they're probably gonna
be able to figure it out because of all the
security cameras, and I had my thing was and I
was hoping that this was the case. I thought it
probably was a misunderstanding. I just didn't. I just didn't

(08:00):
think that it but so few people being allowed to
go back there that that would happen, and it turned
out to be a misunderstanding. I think for Bubba Wallace,
I'll say this, I think that he's a young guy
kind of I think he kind of got caught up
maybe in the celebrity of the moment, so to speak.
He ended up and you know, doing a lot of
interviews in different places, and I when I watched them,

(08:22):
I watched them early yesterday on the Today Show, and
I could tell that he looked like a little beaten
down because he must be spending all day on social media.
I said, he's gonna come out with a statement at
some point today. And Sharon, if that's what he did,
I think. I think if if right away he had
just said after the story came out, he said, and
I'm happy to know that it was that it wasn't

(08:42):
a hate crime. And I'm glad what the drivers did
with NASCAR, because I gotta give NASCAR credit. I know
people criticize them, what was what was their motivation? But
look at this way, Clay, if the story came out today,
um that NASCAR is investigating a news that was found
in Bubba Wallace's garage. They learned about it on Sunday,
but now we're just hearing about it today, how many

(09:04):
people would have said, See, they don't take this stuff seriously.
All they cared about was the race going off. So
I actually thought that NASCAR handled it pretty quickly. And
let's face it, I thought that they'd wrap up the
investigation pretty quickly, and they kind of did. They did. Indeed,
do you agree that we've moved? I think the Outrage
Olympics is an interesting idea because there is definitely a race,

(09:28):
particularly on social media, to see who can be the
most outraged, the most emotional in their response to any incident,
because emotion tends to go viral more than logic on
social media. Yeah, and because I think everyone, anybody with
a brain or a heart or a soul, is going

(09:48):
to be outraged if that is really what happened. If
somebody did that, you're gonna you know, why would you
do that too? This guy? That's a horrible, despicable thing.
So you're kind of saying something that, yeah, everyone agrees with.
But the thing now is let's get to the story.
And I think once the story kind of got explained
of how many people are allowed back there, the access,

(10:10):
the fact that they have security cameras. I said, if
it's a person who did it, I mean, how miserable
is this person's life going to be? The only said,
before they even caught a person who thought maybe there
was a person who did it, he was gonna be
banned from the sport, So I kind of think like
being outraged by it. Yeah, everyone's outraged by it. So
there's no need to kind of go overboard until we
know what the whole story is. I'm talking to Frank I.

(10:32):
So how important was it for the p G A
tour commissioner to come out and say, Hey, we're sticking
to our schedule here, maybe we're going to continue to
amend the testing. But to me, if he had buckled
in any way and said, oh, we're not playing this
tournament this weekend, then once you start up there are
going to be positive tests. I think you just have

(10:54):
to power through. You know, I said this, yes and
and p T and I know you were either recording
the greatest show that has ever existed in the history
of sports television. I think I've told you this before.
But when I was in college before Wilbon and Kornheiser were,
you know, household names for opining on television. I would

(11:16):
read their columns in the Washington Post. Oh yeah, I
mean that that Washington Post sports section. Kornheiser is a legend.
You know. He also did a column for The Style
and how funny he was and how incredibly talented he
was with that column, and the same thing with Wilbon
and the way they would talk back and forth with

(11:37):
their columns, which was basically kind of an early audition
for p T. I Uh, those guys are legends, and
that show is a legendary, so you are very fortunate
to get to be a part of it like you do. Yeah. Yeah,
I'm always telling Tony he should be writing i MSS column.
I really do. Yeah he was. He's got he's got
a really good sense of humor. But I watched j. Monahan,

(12:00):
the PGA commissioner. I actually thought that he was a
little bit like Dr Fauci. First he said, you know,
the virus is with us. We're gonna have to learn
how to deal with it. It's not going anywhere. It's
not going anywhere anytime soon. It sounded like he was
kind of reprimanding the golfers and the caddies a little bit,
just to be taking this a lot more serious. I
thought it was an important step not to cancel. I
think this goes back to what they did in Germany

(12:22):
when the players were training to come back in the
German League, and like a couple of guys which test positive,
but they said no, no, we're going to forge ahead
and try to get this done. And I think, you know,
if you look at what happened with Novak Djokovic, the
you know, one of the greatest tenants players in history.
He played those exhibition matches over in Serbia and Croatia,
which is a good thing. He's doing it to raise
money for people that have been infected affected by the virus.

(12:45):
And yet you know, they showed him standing among like
a group of fans and nobody had a mask on,
and then they showed him out of the nightclub and
everyone's kind of, you know, goofing around having a good time,
and then he ended up getting it. So I think
I think it's kind of a reminder where you can
pull these sports off, but people just have to be
maybe a little bit more careful. And I think that's
what the commissioner of the sports said yesterday. I thought
it was good that he didn't cancel, and I think

(13:07):
that's what Adam Silver is thinking. We just got to
get down to this bubble, get everyone, you know, uh
quarantined a little bit, and if everyone could just file
the proper protocol, we'll be able to pull this off.
What are you hearing about Major League Baseball in their
return because one of the things that I think is
interesting is people are getting infected outside of their sporting
event itself, like we saw with L s U and Clemson.

(13:29):
And so if you're gonna go back to the cities
that you're based in in UH, in all these locations,
major League Baseball players are going to have regular lifestyles.
Right They may go out to dinner, they may go
take their kids to school or playgrounds or whatever else.
And some of those guys are gonna get infected by
living their regular lives, which seems quite a bit different

(13:51):
than the pathway that the NBA, for instance, has embraced. UH.
And the PGA tour obviously is a little bit different
because they're going all over the country. But those guys
go out for meals, they have to travel, they have
to get on airplanes, all those different things. How do
you handle this? Is the NBA plan, in your mind,
smarter than the Major League Baseball plan? Is baseball gonna

(14:11):
have to amend what they do, uh in terms of
guys testing positive. What's where we headed here? Yeah? That
that that's the interesting point because you know, you you
have two teams in New York, which means all those
teams on the East Coast will be coming into New
York a bunch of times, staying in hotels. I think
if they do the smart thing, they'll be able to
pull it off. But you know that there's gonna be

(14:33):
players that are gonna end up testing positive. You know
the fact that it's only you could tell the baseball
just wants to get this season on and then try
to get it over with as quickly as they can.
They're cutting down on travel obviously. You know there'll be
a bunch of teams at least in the East that
will that will be getting on buses to go to
certain cities. I just think it's gonna be tough. I'm
worried about where we could be headed because you do
you do see a lot of people testing positive. But

(14:56):
again it comes down to whether or not the commissioners
of these sports are willing to live with a couple
of players testing positive and be able to quarantine them.
And I think once it happens, maybe to a couple
of players, maybe the players will follow the proper protocol.
Because let's listen, even in New York, you can go
out and eat outside, but it's not like you're gonna

(15:16):
be allowed inside a restaurant or inside the nightclubs. So
the players that are here, and they're here for a
couple of days for a series, it's not like they're
gonna be spending that much time. They'll be in their hotels.
But I don't think they're gonna be going out to
nightclubs and bars because they're not open right now. What
are they gonna be bringing in Instagram girls? That's the question, Frank,
because I think that's the life of the virus. Yeah,

(15:39):
I was gonna say, the life of a young single
professional athlete is not bad, not bad at all, frank I, Sol,
I have a great weekend. We'll talk to you next weeks.
But that's at the Frank Sol, I'm play Travis. This
is outkicked the coverage with Clay Travis. Let's go ahead
and let's bring in my guy, Danny g Or. We

(16:01):
haven't done an animal thunderdome in a wall that while
the people have been begging for it. What have you
got for us, ladies and gentlemen. I'm just glad I
was scared boys and good. I thought he thought I
was like this enormous piece of chicken dium times I

(16:29):
is Animal Thunderdog, all right. This story is that we're
in a positive story for we found out that UFOs
are real, not what causes UFOs, but the government came
out in the midst of all this coronavirus mess and said, hey,
by the way, yeah, UFOs are real, here's videos of them.

(16:49):
Check it out. And then like nobody even hardly noticed
because there were so many other stories that were worth chasing. Well,
this story hit was a yesterday day before. I don't
even it was trending all day yesterday, trending all day
yesterday that there is a new Locknest monster photo that
has gone viral. We had it up on out kick

(17:10):
and it's funny, like I tweeted it out and immediately
there was I mean, the site had tens of thousands
of people on it. Everybody clicked through. And I get
it right because I sit around watching that that Finding
Bigfoot show. Uh, the ghost Hunter shows are insanely popular
anything that explores a potential mystery, and the Locknest monster

(17:33):
has been a mystery for a long time. This photo is, uh,
it's pretty wacky. Whatever this thing is that was inside
of lockness. Yeah. Steve Shellice is the name of the
guy that recently took a picture of what he thinks
is Nellie Now. I tweeted out yesterday a post somebody
made their locally saying that it looks like a Wells catfish,

(17:55):
which can grow up to be over three hundred pounds
and eight feet long. I I texted that picture to
all you guys so you could compare and get your
opinions on it. So he says he thinks it's a
Wells kind of looks you know, the pattern on the
back of it looks similar. I did a little bit
of research on the lock nest yesterday. The first guy

(18:15):
who supposedly saw this in the Scottish about right eighteen
seventy one. Yes, and then it came to worldwide fame
in nineteen thirty three. And of course we've all seen
that famous black and white picture where it looks like
a dinosaur's neck and head sticking out of the water.

(18:36):
So yeah, man, this turned a lot of people's heads yesterday.
I don't know, I've I've always wondered about the locknest monster.
Where are you with this clay? Would you be more
prone to say that Sasquatch is real or the Locknest
monster you have Between the two, I want both of
them to be real. I am in favor, as I said,
like in general, I'm in favor of everything being uh

(18:58):
you know all these that I have. In favor of ghosts,
and I believe I have seen a ghost before. I'm
in favor of of the certainly Bigfoot, the abominable snowman.
I'm the Chuba Cabra, yes I uh and so I
said yesterday on the out Kick Afternoon Show that I do.
I was like, look, I'm in favor of everything except

(19:21):
for new poisonous snakes. I'm an anti new poisonous snakes.
Uh and uh and and I don't really like the
idea of anything that that could like put me in danger,
I said, I don't want to Megalodon, right, you guys followed.
You guys know how popular the megalodon is. If you
have a young uh son or daughter, YouTube megalodon and

(19:42):
look how popular it is that megalodon is a prehistoric shark,
which is basically a monster shark. So we've been watching
a lot in my house. We've watched I think there
are six Jurassic parks now, am I right about that?
Or five? There are a bunch of different Jurassic parks, right,
the original that came out back in the Jurassic Park one, two,

(20:03):
and three, and then they also, I think, have come
out with two more, the Jurassic Worlds. So we've been
watching these in my house, like a lot of you've
been trying to keep the kids entertained. So we watched
all five Jurassic Parks the last couple of days. But
my kids are obsessed with the megalodon. So I don't
want megalodons to exist because they'll never get in the
water again. We let my nine year old watch this

(20:25):
crocodile movie. Well, what's the name of this crocodile movie about?
It's set down in Florida. I think during a hurricane
uh and uh or alligator movie. I don't. I don't
even know. But anyway, my nine year old is like
terrified to get in any water, and I should mention
this this is a low level animal thunderdome. But last
night I'm sleeping and my wife shows up. She's all

(20:45):
the times falls asleep with our five year old when
they're reading, you know, books and stuff like that. So
it's the middle of the night, I don't know, one am,
and she and my five year old come downstairs to
get in bed with me, and I'm like, what's going on?
And she said, there there's a mouse upstairs, and so
they fled from the upstairs. We have a mouse loose

(21:06):
in the house somewhere, and uh and my five year
old and my wife were so terrified of the mouse
that they came downstairs to wake me up to get
into bed with me. Your kids can add this to
their presentation on why they deserve a cat. Uh, I
don't even I don't even think about that. I didn't
even think about that. Angle. Yeah, this doesn't help with
the power point presentation on why the family needs a cat. Uh.
So the locknest? Do you got? What do you guys think?

(21:28):
It's hard to say, you know, because you can't tell
from this guy's photo. You can't tell how big it
is you from where he's standing and taking the photo.
You don't know. It's like years ago when I thought
that spider was bigger than it really was. And it's
just because of you know, your perspective of where the
photos being taken for. I mean, like people can and

(21:49):
This is a good way to fake. Like if you're
a fisherman, if you take a picture taken and you
extend your arm far out in front of you, hoping
the fish, it looks like so much more massive. Same
thing like with the Let's say you see some of
those photos of like rattlesnakes, Like people got it on
a stick and they're holding it out in front of them.
The depth perception definitely impacts your ability to gauge size.

(22:11):
But this is a real photo and it's definitely super weird.
This has just been an insane year from top to bottom.
It would be perfect if we discovered what the lockness
monster was this year, and I hope people would actually
take note. I mean, I do think people need a distraction. Alright.
The next story here. You're gonna hate this headline though.
It's you might squirm a little bit, okay, And I

(22:34):
apologize to all of our male listeners right now for
this story. But the New York Post their headline yesterday
leech swims up man's penis, drinks, drinks pint of blood
before doctors pull it out. That's like the worst thing
that could ever happen to a man. I think alright,
So doctors in Cambodia recently removed this leech that had

(22:59):
entered an elderly man's dick cheney when he was swimming.
He uh this, this leech drank a full pint of blood. Okay,
so this is how big was the leech. Well, I'm
gonna get to that. The unnamed, the unnamed, everybody, every
man on the planet right now, who's listening to this? Uh,
this story is just cringing. The unnamed patient. I wouldn't

(23:20):
want my name on this either. Um. He knew something
was wrong when he experienced severe pain while trying to
use the bathroom. He wound up going to a local
hospital where they put a tiny camera inside of him,
which U huh, Oh that doesn't I mean they put
a camera inside of his yes, um okay, so then
that's how they found out it was a leech in there.

(23:42):
This poor guy told the doctors that he had went
swimming in a river earlier that day. That that day, Yes,
this all happened in one day. The hospital. The hospital
is warning locals right now. They put out a statement
saying the waters are rich with leeches and other insects
during this rainy season. Unfortunately, the removal was complicated by

(24:04):
the fact that this leech had ballooned up to a
much bigger size after drinking the pint of the victim's blood.
This is the worst story. I I really, I mean
I I it makes me just I mean, that's why,
that's why he obviously had pain urinating. Yeah you think

(24:25):
not only that, but it had already injured parts of
the man's organs with its teeth. Was he wearing pants
it doesn't say, or was he skinny dipping? Because if
he was skinny dipping, I don't know that there's a
man listening to us right now that's ever going swimming

(24:47):
without pants on for the rest of his life. You
said that your kid would never get in the water again,
never get in the water again as well. So to
safely extract this leech, doctors were forced to you is
a tiny probe with electricity and cutting tools at the
end to kill the leech before yanking it back out
the way that it came in. Oh my god, is

(25:13):
there an expert in this? I mean, in all honesty, like,
do you want how do they know that they electrocuted
the lech in his penis? How does that electrocute, you
know how I mean? And honestly, how do they stop
the electricity so it only hits the leech and doesn't
like you know, inspector gadget the poor bastard and just

(25:36):
like does get like damage from that shock? Man? How
old is he? It just says elderly. They don't give
an age. I just I I have so many questions
about how all this happened, Like was he naked? An

(25:56):
old man just like like on Ozark, like just likes
to go kids swimming, and and then that happens, because
I would think that if you had pants on, it
would be a lot harder for a leech to find
his way into your your dick Cheney, did he feel
it go in? Obviously not if I mean when he

(26:19):
went to the hospital, he didn't know what was wrong.
I mean, this might be the word. I know, you've
had the babies, you know, being being killed and like
kids being killed by animals and stuff, but this might
be the worst story you've ever found. I'm honor so
with the guys. He Yeah, I never thought I would say,

(26:41):
like we have monkeys throwing kids down wells again, But
I feel like that's a happier story than this one.
What so what happened? Well, like I said, they got
it out of him. Did he die? He death? No,
he was released from the hospital after spending the night there.
He said to be indecent, con decent condition conditions other

(27:06):
than the fact that his penis is now seems to
be faring Okay, what does that mean? He seems to
be faring over That's what it's like, the worst medical
prognosis ever. Yeah, that's the last sentence of this article.
You know, this is like, remember there have been bad
stories that you've found before. I remember the guy who
died after his penis was bitten off by the shark.

(27:27):
Remember in Brazil. Yeah, of all the places you could
be bitten by a shark, somehow the shark got him
literally in the groin. Like I mean, this is like
the worst shark of all time, of all the places
you could be bitten, he went straight groin and then
the guy died. He bled out. That's pretty bad. But

(27:48):
I don't I mean, did they put the guy to
sleep for this surgery? Surely right? Oh yeah, but they
let him leave that night. There's a lot of question.
A pie in a blood is a lot of blood.
I mean that sounds like a huge leech, right, Yeah?

(28:09):
Is this like a sociopath leech too? Of all the
places you could go on the human body, he went
in the pe hole. There is a there's a picture
of the leech in the article, the one that they
pulled out of you know. It says underneath of it
it says the leeches removal was complicated by the fact

(28:29):
that it was swollen from drinking a pint of blood.
You think. It doesn't say if it's the actual leech.
It's in a container, so I don't know that it's
not specific saying whether or not that's the exact leech.
That it would seem like a pretty good trick to
just put a random leeches picture up. I would say this,
And I'm not an expert on how to remove leeches
from the penis, but it seems to me, although this

(28:51):
would also be gross, it seems to me that you
would have to puncture the leech, right, because then all
the blood from the leech, wouldn't it come out? Now,
the problem is it might come roaring out of the
man's penis, right, But the leech is that big, so
you're you're doubling down like Bubba right now. No, I'm
just trying trying to save the man's penis and life. Potentially,

(29:13):
it seems like the instead of electrocuting the leach, which
by the way, is just I just can't stop thinking
about a man's penis being electrocuted. Benjamin Franklin got nothing
on this guy. I just this is the worst story ever,
and I have a much I was going to say,
have a much lighter story to end. I'm just thinking,

(29:35):
we have the medical technology, We're gonna have a much
heavier story. I would retire. Yeah, but I'm saying people
used to have to die of this, right because now
we at least have the medical technology. They could put
a camera in his penis to figure out what the
problem was. But you know where where was this Cambodia.

(29:58):
There's probably dudes all throughout history in Cambodia and other
places who have just died because they went swimming and
elite swim into their penis and nobody knew what happened
to them. And that seems like it might be the
most excruciating way to die, right. Yeah, I don't think
any no mail would argue with you on that. All right,

(30:19):
So well, now that you've ruined everybody else, Danny could
be worse. So out there right now. You got a
lot of challenges going on, but you don't have a
leech in your penis, So all right, you know, I
got one last one here. A Florida woman filed a
civil suit against a neighbor demanding a paternity test for
the five goats she purchased in December. The lawsuit, filed

(30:42):
by Chris Headstrom, demands that her neighbor, Heather Daner, either
refund the nine dollars she paid for the five Nigerian
dwarf goats she purchased back in December, or provide a
sample of DNA from the goats supposed father to prove
their lineage. Headstrom's lawsuit alleges she was under the impression
that she would be able to register the goats pedigrees

(31:04):
with the American Dairy Goat Association. Yes it's like Tica,
who even knew that existed. Heads from alleges to the
association told her that she would need to submit forty
hair follicles from the father goat to prove the lineage
of the babies. So she sent Danna a letter requesting
the DNA sample. Danna responded by offering to take the

(31:25):
goats back and give Headstrom a refund. Not a good sign.
I just why does it matter who the goat's dad is?
What did you say that the group was the America
American Dairy Goat Association. That sounds like the worst association
to be a member of, other than maybe the Leeches
and the Penis Association, which would be even worse. But

(31:47):
what a ridiculous thing. All right, no pun intended. When
we come back, this is OutKick the Coverage. We're gonna
read some of your reviews and if you've wondered how
in the world this show could get five stars, I
kind of wonder the same. This is Outkicked the Coverage
with Clay Travis. I appreciate all of you for hanging

(32:09):
out with us. This is a lot of fun as always,
and we got a couple of different news stories, one
of them breaking. I wouldn't say it's a massive surprise,
but the NFL's Hall of Fame preseason game, which is
typically what begins the NFL calendar, it has been canceled.
That game was scheduled. Eddie, correct me if I'm wrong.

(32:32):
August six, um, I believe was going to be the
first preseason game of this season, and it is now canceled,
and I think it raises the larger issue of whether
or not we're going to end up with a preseason
at all in the NFL. And frankly, I only people
care about whether there is any preseason football played. For

(32:54):
a lot of people out there who are season ticket holders,
you feel like you're getting jobbed having to a full
freight for two preseason football games, and I just think
it's a bad move by the NFL to try to
get fans in the stadium or even worry about the
preseason with everything that's going on, focus on the regular

(33:16):
season and being able to begin it. Now. Maybe they
go ahead and they say, hey, it's incredibly important that
we play at least a couple of preseason games, and
maybe that ends up happening. But I would be stunned
beyond belief if any fans are able to go to
preseason football games anywhere in the country. It just seems
crazy to me to open up a football stadium for

(33:39):
a game. Not that football really matters that much in
the grand scheme of things, but preseason football is a
pen prick as important as a regular season football game.
So I would just be stunned if there's any attendance
whatsoever for preseason football. So that story is out there
breaking this morning again. The cow Cowboys and the Steelers

(34:00):
not playing on August six, also a story that's out
there that I think is intriguing. In an effort to
keep fans and players apart and effectively end things like
the Lambeau Leap, they are ending the ability of of
fans to sit in theory. This is the report that's

(34:20):
out there in the first six to eight rows of
an NFL football stadium, and they're going to allow a
tarp advertisement to be used in NFL stadiums to help
to make up for lost seat revenue by covering up
those six to eight rows of seats. So those stories
are out there. Bubba Wallace, we talked a lot about

(34:41):
Bubba Wallace yesterday and UH and the way that NASCAR
had managed to handle this, UH, this issue with the
quote unquote noose which was actually just a garage pull
door after going on Don Lemon and basically sound like
an idiot, UH and making people start to compare him

(35:03):
even more aggressively to justse Smollett. Bubba Wallace finally yesterday
afternoon issued this statement, which I think was what he
should have said immediately after the FBI report went public.
It's been an emotional few days. First off, I want
to say how relieved I am the investigation revealed this
wasn't what we feared it was. I want to thank

(35:25):
my team, NASCAR and the FBI for acting swiftly and
treating this as a real threat. I think will gladly
take a little embarrassment over what the alternatives could have
been made. No mistake, though some will try that should
not detract from the show of unity we had on
Monday and the progress we've made as a sport to
be more welcoming and to be a more welcoming environment

(35:46):
for all. Now the challenge going forward, and I would
say this is, uh, this is pretty monumental for Bubba
Wallace is he's not a very good race car driver,
and so what in the world is he going to
be able to do to change the narrative around him
to something that has to do with his sport as
opposed to something that has to do within off the

(36:09):
track related incident And yesterday we put up a poll
question which tons of you ended up voting in. I
want to give you the final results. I said who
looks the worst in the wake of the NASCAR news debacle, NASCAR,
Bubba Wallace or the sports media. Over fifty thousand of
you voted in this poll and you can always go

(36:31):
vote in our polls at Clay Travis. Forty eight percent
of you said the sports media looks the worst, thirty
four percent of you said Bubba Wallace looks the worst,
and eighteen percent of you said NASCAR looks the worst.
So that is the final result there. Uh one more
little I would say a tidbit of news that is

(36:53):
circulating around out there. Uh. The p G A stuck
to their guns. They aren't going to change their plan
when it comes to how to respond and keep their
tournaments going, even though uh they have had more recent
positive test results. And UH the PGA Tour commissioner said,

(37:16):
we need to learn to live with the virus because
it isn't going anywhere. That is the right statement that
you have to make. I think whether you're the NBA commissioner,
Major League Baseball commissioner, uh, the head of college football conferences,
or the NFL commissioner. You need to stick with your plan.

(37:38):
Players are gonna test positive. You can't abandon your plan
just because a few players test positive. All right, So
that is all of the latest in the world of
sports news. As you wake up with us on the
West coast, or maybe if you're sleeping in as you
wake up with us on the East coast. Uh, let
me go ahead and bring in uh Danny G who
is in the process of sharing five star reviews. Now

(38:01):
we've got a little bit of a controversy here. Maybe
a Russian judge element in play. Maybe Danny G is
picking out people that he already knows so they get
rewarded with autograph copies of the books. Don't want to
impugne his behavior here, but just saying I'm not sure
he's very trustworthy and his judging. How would I know
who TC zero two four is because you could tell somebody, Hey,

(38:23):
if you want a free book, just go write a
review and then tell me what your what your number is,
and I'll get you a free book. I'm just saying
I think you could be bought, and I don't even
think it would be that expensive to buy you. I
think you're not a high class hooker. You're you're like
a street walker. I think you need a vacation. You
need to loosen up a little bit. You need a vacation.
In fact, I want you to take next Tuesday through

(38:44):
Friday off. I in fact, as a producer of this show,
I'm going to demand that you take next Tuesday through
from going to the beach. I haven't taken not to
bragger draw attention to myself, but I haven't hardly taken
any time off for this entire year. I have been
here like a like a fighter pilot in his plane,

(39:08):
just out there out there saving and making sure that
America is you know, like you know how you have
like remember back in the day they've patrol the no
fly zone. I have been like a pilot patrolling the
no fly zone, just making sure that everything is great.
But I'm gonna be in at the beach on Tuesday
to Friday, and I have been risking our lives coming. Yeah,

(39:29):
every day we've been coming into this broadcasting facility. By
the way, dub Is not has not been on the show.
The past couple of days, dubb is at a bachelor party.
Did you see the picture that Dubbed sent of his Yeah,
he's probably drunk already. He might not have been one
to bed yet. Did you see the picture of the
rattlesnake that he saw on his golf he was in Texas,

(39:52):
dubbed travels more. We need to figure out how much
Dub's getting paid everywhere Dub, remember we We I first
started a question whether we're paying Dub too much when
he took off a vacation and he went to the
Ryder Cup in France, and I was like, like, he
just he said, I'm gonna be out for a couple
of days, and he flew to France to go to

(40:13):
the Ryder Cup. And I'm like, what, what don't we
pay a guy to answer the phones here? I gotta
I gotta look at the books. And now he is, Uh,
he's out for like bachelor parties and like multiple weekends.
And I understand he's twenty five, so that's like kind
of bachelor party central. But the guy golfs like nine
days a week. I mean, I don't even know how
he managed it. Uh. Every time I text him, he's like,

(40:35):
I'm on the golf course. Sorry, Like, what the world?
I don't know where Dub is right now? Does anybody know.
I know he's at a bachelor party. Where did they go? Uh?
He told us on the air, remember, because we were
asking him if strip clubs were open there? Oh yeah,
san Antonio? Was it? I don't can't remember. Did you
see the story about the strip club that had the
coronavirus outbreak? Yes? At at like a Lake of the

(40:59):
It wasn't like at the Ozo, because it was somewhere
up Wisconsin Dells or something like that. I think was
the location. If I'm not mistaken. I don't know. I'm
not a strip club guy anyways. It's a big waste
of money. But this is definitely not a time to
go have fun inside of the big upset by the
way that there are you up? Uh? Did this surprise
anybody that Danny g is not a big strip club guy? Yeah?

(41:19):
What was? It's better to have a real TINDERRONI come
over to your house and dance for you in your
living room. Yeah right, It's better to have a girlfriend
that you don't have to pay or reality, you pay
way more money to uh than uh than than what
clubs are you going to if you don't pay that
much money? I mean, are you sitting there with dollar
bills at the rail. I have not been in a

(41:42):
strip club in a long time because in Nashville this
before a long time, pre coronavirus, they did away with
lab dances. I think, right, they have a three foot
rule in uh in the in Nashville. What's yeah, Like
we're gonna pay somebody to stand three feet away from
you and dance that. That seems I think even creepier
than getting a lap dance. It's like it's like looking

(42:04):
at somebody's window as opposed to as opposed to actually
be in there, doesn't seem creepy. Like you're sitting in
a chair and somebody's like three ft away from you
and you're just sitting there looking at them like it
killed the entire But that's been several Does the bouncer
come over with a tape measure? Now, I'm sure he does.
You know, you gotta be six ft apart from everybody.
But they were social distancing before social distancing was cool.

(42:26):
But that seems like that When as soon as I
heard that, I was like, well, that's so creepy. It's like, like, okay,
at least the girl dances on you in a normal
lap dance. But instead you sit in a chair and
she's three ft away from you, and you just kind
of creepily. It seems so much worse. So anyway, that
killed the Nashville strip club scene. And I don't know,

(42:47):
that's been like seven or eight years ago now. And
really quick, while we're on the topic, I met a
girl probably yeah, ties into Tinder a little bit, uh
this past weekend, and and so we got to talking.
We got to the text messaging point of what happened
to your girlfriend Corona virus? Broke up with her because

(43:08):
of the coronavirus, she disappeared, she turned into it. What's
what's the female version of a Corona bro? Oh? I
don't know. I mean they can women be Corona bros.
But that's that's probably a little bit aggressive. But so
that's the opposite of being a Corona Corona ho. I
would think with somebody who wants to come hang out
with you, I would think of the opposite of that.
So she gave you the heisman. No, it just mutually

(43:30):
it didn't work out. I mean, you guys have been
dating for a long time, So how did this happen?
Was it via text? Not take it down the phone? No,
like she just very focused on staying at home right
now and she's working out at home and um, her
mom has a pre uh health condition of pre existing
You were like, hey, I need to see you in person.

(43:52):
She was like yeah, that's not gonna happen. And then
you're like, okay, this relationship is over. I mean it
didn't exactly work like that. Good. Oh no, no, that
wasn't the issue. Well, I mean when was the last
time you saw her in person? In person? Uh? March
one time during this entire lockdown. Yeah, that's pretty crazy. Yeah,
she just she had a very bad schedule. She has

(44:14):
a child, no babysitter. Okay, so who's the new girl?
So she found out? Where did you meet her? What's
your tender handle? Uh? I don't even know why? Why
don't you single? Wh want to? What do you? What
is your what is your what is your Twitter? What
is your tender profile picture? What are you wearing? What

(44:34):
am I wearing? It's just it's just it's just like
you with a dog, Like it's like it's just like
standing in a selfie. Yeah, it's just your face because
they close in on the even if you put a
picture of yourself, they close in It's like, okay, so
it's just are you wearing a hat? Yeah? What hat?
It is a Black Lakers hat. All right, black Lakers hat.

(44:55):
What do you list your profession? As I put NASA?
Is your really? Yes? I really did. I said, I'm
a NASA engineer and I just got back from training.
All right, so this new girl meets a NASA engineer.
The Laker's hat thinks this is a man of my dreams.
And what's happened? What's happened with the new girl? Oh?

(45:16):
So the reason I brought it up is because she
was asking about where I work. So I told her
and she said, and this is the first thing she
texts back, do not tell me you work with that
Clay Travis guy. No, that's not true. I swear to
God on on the Bible, on the Bible. Yes, please
do not tell me you were. You said, did you
say you work at Fox Sports Radio? Well, I I said,

(45:39):
I work at a sports network. And she started digging more,
asking more questions like females do. Because when I first
meet someone, I try to be as vague as possible.
You don't want to give too many details. Um, and
by the way, you don't ever want to give your
last name, because the first thing a girl will do
is go investigate you, exactly, no doubt. So wait, so
she said, she said, please tell me you don't work

(46:00):
with that Clay Tropod. I guess it's good because, yeah,
when I'm with you at NBC, no girl would have
said that to me. Yeah, Like this girl is probably
she's probably not a big sports talk radio fan. Right,
that's the thing. She was like, at least you're not
with Fox News. And I was like, oh boy, here
we go, here we go. But that's I think that's

(46:22):
good for me, even like if her immediate reaction is
to know me, whether it's too like or hate me,
that's good for me, I think, don't you. Yeah, what
was it two years ago where you were trying to
figure out if you were a big enough celebrity to
be on a golf pro am? Right, it was golf
pro am, But it was also that I wanted to

(46:43):
go to the Taylor Swift and I wanted I I
emailed Direct TV to see like because they were like,
media can cover this, can cover the celebrity red carpet.
And I emailed Direct TV and I was like, am
I enough of a celebrity to get to walk the
red carpet, and I don't I mean, I think it
was right kind of on that borderline. But if people

(47:04):
are responding like, oh, please tell me you don't work
with that, Like, if they're knowledgeable enough of my name
that they have an opinion, that's a win for me,
even if they hate me. Like I was disappointed when
you got pulled over that morning by the cops. And
you know, it's three am or whatever the heck time
it was in in l A. And the cops were
not that pulled you over. We're not fans. The one

(47:28):
officer new Petros and a M five seventy, but he
wasn't saying your name right, which is and he was
working in the late shift. So I would think if
you're a cop right now, like our percentage of people
who listened to us on the West Coast has got
to be through the roof, because if you're a cop
and you're driving around at four am, what else are
you gonna listen to? Like that's kind of offended that
they weren't listening to me. Well, and here's the worst part.

(47:49):
So we were talking a couple of days ago through
text and she said, well, when are we going to
meet up? You know, next weekend the weekend after that.
And then she said, by the way, how any tender
ronis do you see in person? Right now? During this pandemic?
She used the word tender ronis and I was like,
that is strange because on the Ben Mallor Show I

(48:10):
used to do a segment each week called Tenderni Tips
about online dating. So I wrote back, you know, wow,
how do you know that word? And she said, I
know lots of things. Uh, you know, she's laughing, and
I wrote back, I said, oh, that's crazy. I used
to do this thing on the radio called Tenderni Tips
a couple of days ago. Didn't think anything of it.
But then yesterday I'm texting with her and she says, okay,

(48:33):
whatever you say, Danny g Radio. Yeah. So she obviously
googled Tenderni tips and so now she's on my Twitter.
Now I'm worried about her because now she's doing all
this investigating. I don't know her last name yet. I
haven't been able to google her. So it's not fair.
It's totally one sided. There's no doubt, all right, So

(48:56):
let's get well to bring back TENDERNI tips now that
you're back on the dating scene and needing to find
a significant other, Well, and a lot of the women's
profiles right now say I'm only here for conversations because
of COVID. I'm not meeting anybody in person dot dot
dot No, not even for coffee. A lot of yeah,
a lot of women in southern California are saying, look,

(49:18):
I'll talk to you, but I'm not meeting up with
you right now. So is the strangest time ever they're
dating guys that have that on their profile. I would
every guy on the planet. If the girl is good
looking enough, it could be it could be the bubonic play.
And if the girls could look at enough, a guy
will show up somewhere to meet her. Yeah. I think
you're right about that. You need to play hard to
get and be like you know, I'm a big you know,

(49:39):
Corona brow. I'm not going to leave my house. You know.
We gotta save the world. Um and blame it on
you like that, Travis guy told me. Except the protest
um all right, the two final you want the two
final reviews to final reviews, two final reviews. Actually we
need should we go, well, it's go ahead to do it.
I think we got signed all right. This first one

(50:00):
from tc OO his title must Listen. This podcast is
like crack for the open mind. It makes you step
out of your ideas and forces you to think. Sometimes
I make tough choices between attending family events, going to work,
or spending time with the wife or listening to out
Kick out Kick always wins. I'm now homeless and divorced,

(50:23):
but well informed. That's not bad. It's not a good
job there. Next one, Papa Georgio. Clay loves when he
hears from that guy. Clay is on the right side
of history on the top three sports topics. One, When
considering a player or coaches contract, it's important to note
that it's after taxes after tax too. When discussing player trades,

(50:48):
the key factor is whether or not the player has
a no trade clause. And Three. Clay is very receptive
to feedback on the podcast audio and any issues listeners
bring to him is met with sincere concern. That's good.
By the way, we haven't heard from audio Guy in
a long time, from any audio guys. For people out

(51:10):
there who are new to the show. We used to
get comments from like it would always be like, there
are people who are obsessed, especially in the podcast with
the audio quality. And audio quality guy would always be like,
I'm listening to you on my bows forty thousand dollar headset,
and you're occasionally every forty six seconds there's a popping
sound that will occur in the background, and that pop

(51:33):
like it would just drive me insane, Like can you
hear me? Do you hear every word that I say?
Then the audio is good enough? Right. I'm not Audio guy,
but audio Guy was obsessed with telling us every minor minute,
infinitesimally small detail that might have been wrong with his
audio experience. Yeah, you love that when you hear I
just picture audio guys sitting like totally naked with only

(51:56):
headphones on and a notepad, like just writing out. I
don't know why I picture audio guy that way, but
just he's he's a fifty four year old virgin, just
writing down every time that his headset pops inappropriately. Uh,
and then immediately emailing us to let us know. Now
we haven't heard from audio guy, but recently we did
hear from the guy who wanted to give you input

(52:17):
on the caller portion of the show. Remember that and
that and that was great. And by the way, Vito
and I have been working on a new library of
OutKick Greatest moments we're calling at the Hall of Fame,
and that one was one of the first ones I
put in the library. I made that using that moment.
Take a listen to this real quick. I'm being grunting

(52:38):
and no night, Hall of Fame, my mind. Here's a
classic clip from OutKick. We got Adam in Indianapolis. Adam,
what you got? Hey? Can I offer some constructive criticism
for the call in portion of your show? Yeah? No,

(53:04):
that was from the OutKick Hall of Fame. That is
that is pretty outstanding. That is pretty great. I love
that entire concept. And a lot of times we have
time constraints and people come on and like, I could
tell that guy was not going to be very efficient
in offering his constructive criticism. So I was like, you know,
screw it, we gotta get out of here. But yes,

(53:25):
that's pretty outstanding. Um, all right, so we come back.
We got what Dr David Chow at Pro Football Docs
with us be sure to catch live editions of Outkicked
the coverage with Clay Travis weekdays at six am Eastern
three am Pacific. Dr David chow now at Pro Football
Doc on Twitter. He joins us every Thursday. Joins us Now,
Dr chow We got the news of the Hall of

(53:46):
Fame game being canceled on August six. Uh, if you
were predicting right now, what do you think the NFL
preseason is going to look like? Yeah? Absolutely, the UH
NFL preseason is certainly gonna look different. In the Hall
of Fame game being canceled is fairly predictable. I also
think they're going to cancel the first week of the

(54:07):
season in the preseason game and the fourth one. Based
on this, we're only gonna play week two in week three.
Week one is going to be canceled, I believe because
the lack of acclamation time without an offseason program, players
do not think. I do not think players are going
to report to report any earlier, so they're not going

(54:29):
to play that first week, and they're not gonna play
Week four because you know, no one really plays in
that game anyways. Everyone plays it on Thursday to try
and get extra days before the first week of the season,
to try and get ten days of rest. But if
you were to correct contract coronavirus. Playing that day, you
would end up missing the first week of the season.

(54:49):
So I believe that one's going to be canceled. And
some of you might say, well, why playing any games.
You have to play some preseason games to get the
dry dry run for players, coaches, chain gang members, referee,
stadium personnel, uh, new COVID protocols, new locker room situations,
and stadiums, and you probably need to play too. This way,

(55:11):
all thirty two teams can have a home game and
it gives you a road trip practice and a home game,
but each of the thirty two stadiums will have a
dry run. So I I expect two games well Week
two in Week three home in a way that's pretty interesting.
I haven't heard anybody else talking about that, but it
makes complete sense the way you just described it now.

(55:32):
As well as maybe playing two preseason games, one at
home and one away for most teams, we also heard,
I don't know if you've seen this news that the
first six to eight rows of NFL stadiums won't be occupied.
They'll be able to put banners for advertisements potentially there,
but it would eliminate the possibility of let's say a
Lambeau Leap type situation, which would mean there be no

(55:55):
way for players to come into contact at all with
fans based on that distancing. Does that make sense to
you as well? That certainly makes sense. And there's certainly
be a room to block off the seats, right because
you know, who knows, uh it's gonna be, uh what
the fan situation is going to be like. But I
don't think there's anyone out there that thinks it's gonna

(56:15):
be a full stadium. And even if it was, I
think there's still enough potential of fan worry in the
community that that it wouldn't be full. I think it's
somewhere between zero and fifty is where the ultimate fan
number is going to be. I did find something that
was a little bit humorous, and I'm not trying to
be snarky, but there were some reports that the yesterday
the NFL said, hey, we're gonna let local authorities decide

(56:37):
with the capacity of stadiums. Will be well, local authorities
have been deciding the capacity of my business for the
last three months and the capacity of restaurants for the
last three months. I mean, I don't think that was
a shocking statement. The NFL, A private business is going
to let local government authorities tell them how many people
can be in the stands. No, that's uh, that's a

(56:59):
good point and uh, and it is interesting to think
about what the differences might be not only four cities
at the start of the season, but right now. You know,
the outbreak situation may be different in different places by
November or December, and it's hard to forecast exactly where
those Maybe now I canna give you credit, you've been
ahead of the curve in terms of predicting. Hey, every

(57:21):
NFL team is gonna have somebody test positive, and the
p g A Tour right now is dealing with some
positive tests. The same thing is happening with the NBA,
major League Baseball, you name it. What is to you
the standard of reasonable positivity? And what I mean by
that is like how many people can test positive right
as opposed to it tipping over and becoming such an

(57:44):
issue that you have to reconsider what you're doing. And
the reason why I asked that question is the p
g A I think sends an important message, Hey, we're
not gonna shut down because of a few positives, and
uh that if you're if you're going to shut down
for a few positives, you should never start back up.
But what's the number? How do you assess what a
reasonable number of positives is? Well, I think you have

(58:07):
to look at the situation in an individual sense. And
and you know, even as we were talking about stadiums
and so forth, and if there are fans, you really
have to look at it locally. And it's not necessarily
the same week one or week sixteen versus week sixteen. Uh,
you can't look at it by state. In California, it's
such a big state. You can't treat San Francisco the

(58:28):
same as Los Angeles in terms of what the situation
might be. But in terms of golf not shutting down, well,
you could argue brook Brooks Brooks Topka got shut down.
And you know, as an individual team, the whole league
isn't gonna get shut down over some positives. But there's
a real potential a team could potentially forfeit a game

(58:51):
with some positives. How many positives? You know, here you go,
if it's just some asymptomatic positives and here's some corn
team in a way, you go, that's fine. But imagine
if the entire QB room goes down or you know, uh,
five offensive linemen. So it depends, you know, certainly, if

(59:11):
you're in double digit numbers, you better do something pretty significant.
If you're in low single digits, I think you might
be able to quote Soldier on. But this is also
where I've said, hey, we need to change. Major League
Baseball announced it, but I've been saying for a while
the NFL needs to do a coronavirus roster exemption. Why.

(59:33):
Number one, you've got to keep teams going, assuming you
want to keep the season. You have to make it
look competitive and and you need the roster spots with
regular injuries, you know, the fifty three and with the
seven inactive. Sometimes they're stretched. Then sometimes you're you're only
being able to dress the minimum numbers. Sometimes you can't
even dress the minimum number, so to speak. And you

(59:55):
add coronavirus to the situation. Either you have to add
more players in the roster total or give teams a
coronavirus roster exemption where you can replace someone for one week,
two weeks or four weeks or whatever is needed to
keep the roster size up and keep playing at a
reasonable level without risking further injury to other players, And

(01:00:16):
the other advantage of that would be you don't want
a team or any medical official inadvertently or a player
inadvertently being rushed back because of the team's need that week.
You want to give them the room to say, look,
you have you can add other players. Now they may
not be as good, They're still gonna be pressure, but
you never want to see that roster pressure. And I

(01:00:38):
expect that to happen in the NFL and an unusual
coronavirus roster exemption for the year. We're talking Dr David Chow.
What do you think about the difference between the way
that the NBA and Major League Baseball are approaching the
returns of their season. The NBA is going to a
bubble down in Orlando, UH, and Major League Baseball, it appears,
is going to play in their home stadiums, no fans president,

(01:01:00):
but players will have normal moveability for lack of a
better way of phrasing it, UH and not be in
a quarantine bubble like state. Is one plan better than
the other? Do you think that either league will end
up adopting some of the platforms of the other league. Well, honestly,
I don't know that there's any plan. That's gonna be great.

(01:01:22):
But the problem with the bubble plan. I've said all along,
it's all your eggs in one basket. I certainly would
not declare failure right now. As teams have people testing positive,
this is the norm. This is you know, hear your
your your news update. This is the norm, the daily
coronavirus player positive, player cow, this team, this player, this golfer,

(01:01:43):
this team, this whatever, that's going to be the norm.
And why is it a There's lots of testing, be
as players report, be it for baseball, be it for basketball,
be it for NFL. They're getting tested as soon as
they come and guess what there are going to be positive.
The key for the success of let's say Orlando, is
are there positive after everyone has reported? That will be

(01:02:07):
the determinant I get right now, there's a lot of
fear that the NBA won't happen, in other leagues won't happen.
But this is just the uptick from the UH testing
when players arrive because in the communities they haven't been
This is why the NFL p A suggested to players,
don't gather like the four uniners have in Nashville, because

(01:02:28):
you're not testing before you gather, and you know, one
of the four uniniers had a positive and so I
haven't heard the further reports of other players getting positive.
But that's the worry and that's why they're they're saying that.
So there's a lot of different things that will go
on here in terms of bad news that we hear
with testing. But really, once you're in the bubble, if

(01:02:50):
we start hearing about positives, that's where the bad news
really is and that's why worry about the bubble. And
it's also enforceability. You know, uh, you know I heard
reports about what are you gonna do with if your
wife is pregnant, is or girlfriend? You know they're coming
into the bubble or staying out of the bubble a
you're gonna go see them when when the birth of
your child happens or someone gets sick. It's the enforceability

(01:03:13):
issue is quite big as well outstanding stuff as always
quickly here as we go out, last question for you,
what do you think happens for purposes of NFL testing?
Will they test once a week for the coronavirus, daily
for temperatures with a thermometer? What do you think the
protocols actually look like, I think for sure they're going
to test daily and maybe even more than daily for

(01:03:36):
temperature because that's fairly easy to do. As far as testing,
I think they're testing between the two and three times
a week right now, as long as you're asymptomatic, trying
to do what they can to uh, to catch what
they can. But you know, be aware of the other
big changes. I think you're gonna have a a Saturday

(01:03:58):
coronavirus temperature report if you spike a fever on Saturday,
even if you test negative, you're not playing on Sunday
in the NFL, to protect the gambling situation and integrity
of the game is going to make that announcement as
soon as it knows. It's gonna be like preschool. Right
if you're sick the day before, even if you feel
well the next day, you're supposed to stay at home.
It's gonna be wild to see. He's Pro Football Doc

(01:04:20):
