Speaker 3 (02:50):
All right, paid hold only.
Speaker 8 (02:53):
Throw him up, burno, throw them up.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Damn right. It is Mexican Mother's Day. And the reason
why he knows that because I told him that.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yes, so it's it's today instead of is that always
May tenth?
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (03:09):
Am I horribly wrong?
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Advi?
Speaker 5 (03:11):

this morning?
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Okay, I get that's racist, that's missed up.
Speaker 6 (03:18):
I mean no, honestly, like the meat ones are really
the cheese ones too, with the halopeen is it halopeno.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
Peppers?
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Peppers?
Speaker 5 (03:31):
To make that so so good.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
Yeah, bro, I took down like six o'fo plus time
I was there.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
That yeah, yeah, Jonas was. I was not judging you.
I just thought that's early every every break.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
He was like, yeah, so uh which wild? They're so
good on them are so good.
Speaker 6 (03:52):
It just has brought me any end SnSe to wash
those down with coffee at six in the morning or
three in the morning out here.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
You drink a wine, man, Yeah, I had water. I
couldn't do coffee on that only because it was I.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
Mean, it had come out.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Now. I got back to the hotel and I needed
to spend some time.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Did you go to your office?
Speaker 3 (04:13):
I did. Had to make some calls.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
Cereal sereal.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Is that the word.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
That's what I say, cereal, cereal.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
With milk, with milk, cereal.
Speaker 7 (04:32):
That cereal, that's what you said, cereal and cetio means
like cereal like it like serious, like serious.
Speaker 8 (04:49):
It's like cereal, cereal, cereal.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
The good thing is everybody that's uh fruity pebbles. Well,
congratulations to both the Denver Nuggets and the Philadelphia seventy
six or so.
Speaker 6 (05:05):
They took three two series leads last night. I mean
like punched them in the mouth too.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
God.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
The Celtics are the most maddening team as far as
you can't figure out one game to the next. And
then for some reason they still get love from sports books.
They're favored in Game six in Philadelphia after that performance
last night. They got absolutely curb stomped by the seventy
six ers. That game wasn't close. They shot terribly, They
(05:35):
shot terribly. Al Horford didn't score.
Speaker 5 (05:38):
Oh Horford, man, he was boning them.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Man.
Speaker 6 (05:40):
Yeah, see, I oh, I mean not quite sure about that.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
But they were awful.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
And congratulations to the seventy six ers and Joell mb
you did and they got to feel good about it,
considering the Boston's owned them in the playoffs all time.
It's been a long time since Philly's taken them out.
But it feels like this is heading in the direct
unless who knows Celtics were down against Milwaukee last year.
They won Game six and then won Game seven. But
congrats to Philadelphia. And then how about Jokic and the
(06:10):
Sun's owner. Just I mean, Jokic is good and I
don't think I still don't think he gets enough credit
for him good.
Speaker 6 (06:16):
He he's a ninja man. That's what he is, straight ninja,
Like he's out there killing dudes and you don't see it.
It's the weirdest thing. It's like you looked up. I
looked up. It's like he had twenty points, Like damn
twenty one at the free throw lines.
Speaker 5 (06:31):
Like when when did it happen?
Speaker 2 (06:34):
You know that game A couple the last game, not
last night when he had that altercation with.
Speaker 5 (06:39):
The Sun's owner. Yep, that's yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
I remember that he scored fifty two that game. Yeah,
just kind of you.
Speaker 5 (06:45):
Don't see it. Yeah, it's like you don't see it.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
It's weird.
Speaker 6 (06:50):
I'm telling you, Like twenty like I was. I was sitting,
I was like, he's up to twenty already?
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Is he like Frank or where you look at the
end of his career and sixteen that.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Door when he was.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Yeah, that's true. Yeah, at least Jokic just wear compression shorts.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Shared three balls at once.
Speaker 8 (07:17):
Na, you actually saw right, there's Frank Gore.
Speaker 6 (07:22):
Yeah, the forty carry on is funny. That's thirty Oh gosh,
thirty wait, oh lord, the twenty further a he's actually
five yards back.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
About that.
Speaker 6 (07:42):
It was nice to see Yokic make up with mat Yeah,
that was the point of the story.
Speaker 5 (07:46):
That was the point that you were going to get to.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
He By the way, do we have Jokic postgame?
Speaker 6 (07:51):
But he did talk about his interaction with the Sun's
owner and flipping him the basketball and hugging it out
here he.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Was afterwards call it so explain to me.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Is this how it works?
Speaker 9 (08:04):
You give matt ishbi of basketball and he pays your fine. Yeah,
just had a little bit fun at least, no heart feelings,
I know, of course. Yeah, I mean I don't have nothing.
I do nothing against him. If it's anybody else, I
will do the same thing.
Speaker 6 (08:21):
So, I mean, it would have been nice to be paid.
It's fine, I mean twenty five k chip in.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
But instead it's just what would kick his ass? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (08:31):
I mean you put twenty five up in what like
the first quarter? Yeah, had like ten seven, seven, eight assists.
Like his numbers go so crazy so quickly. Man, It's
just like when does it happen? And then you see
all these other guys getting off like you, it's like
totally they I wanted to say, it looks like the
(08:55):
Lakers are going to be the team that kind of
begins to run away with it in the West. I'm
not so sure that they don't. I mean it's it's
going to be a great matchup seeing uh the Joker
against a d Like, that's going to be that's going
to be must watch.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
So it's over. You're calling you're calling it.
Speaker 8 (09:13):
Yeah, KD.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
KD was like like Showgun Harlem man like his he
still has the glow, but it was flickering. It was
it wasn't like the new glow. It was like the
old glow like it was. It wasn't like the Showgun Harlem.
Look him up, the Showgun Harlem. You know the last
Dragon man, Bruce Leroy. You remember in the end when
Bruce Leroy found the glow, his glow was different than
(09:35):
the showgun. You remember, Eddie talked to me, Eddie, you know,
I mean like I've seen I have seen that before
when you were watching last night, Tell me you didn't
think of Kevin Durant sounding like looking like the Showgun
Harlem in the last in the last scene, right.
Speaker 8 (09:50):
Who is the master?
Speaker 6 (09:53):
That's right there you go show you know, but but
but he its flickering at the end, and I was like,
like KD was flickering man like. He was still showing
that he had glimpses, but he don't look like KD,
like the KD we've grown to know. And and Booker
can't do a bad self. And Aiden is out there
(10:14):
acting like he's like in Romper Room.
Speaker 5 (10:17):
He don't.
Speaker 6 (10:18):
He's got either the joker is just that freaking crazy
good or or Aiden just didn't Yeah, maybe so Aiden
just didn't show up this this series.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
I'll be honest with you, It was going to be
controversial one point if he ended up being m v
P again. And I think he could have made the case.
Speaker 6 (10:38):
I mean, he's making the case right now. Hell yeah,
he certainly is. He's more dominant. He is more dominant
in this playoffs right now than than any other player.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
How many times did the Lakers in Denver's play this
year is four times?
Speaker 5 (10:52):
I think?
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Did I see they split too?
Speaker 6 (10:54):
I think they played four times. That seemed the mass
seems about right. You know what I think they played
four times?
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Is that?
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Okay? Let me look, let me look, I think they
may have split those four too.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Can we get lead to effort? Just just a double
checker our math on this.
Speaker 5 (11:09):
Coop is in there too.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Coop, you could do this.
Speaker 6 (11:12):
Oh yeah, Coop is a little that they played Coops like,
I'm off the clock.
Speaker 5 (11:16):
I don't even know why looking at me, Coops.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
The Lakers cabana boy, Come on, Coop, you're always carrying
stuff for the Lakers here on the air, like did
they split with.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Did they split the Coop?
Speaker 5 (11:28):
We want to know.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
Split sevent for my paleass. Denver and the Lakers played
how many times this year?
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Coop?
Speaker 5 (11:37):
And who won? I'm gonna have to type.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
And by the way, speaking of conflicted, Coop's also a
Denver Broncos.
Speaker 6 (11:44):
Fan, so he was so excited to see Russell Wilson
there with with Sierra and and his coach.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
And I don't think Sierra was there. She was, I think,
but Sean Payton was there with his I think.
Speaker 6 (11:54):
With his chick that as well. I don't think. I
don't know. I don't know who she was. They did
split the serious how many times they play?
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Four? It is? There you go, Brady Quinn, mister research.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
I didn't do anything. It was all Coop. Yeah, Coop
bringing the research, the data, the analysis.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
I'm talking about.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Coop fired up waiting for that that Denver Broncos schedule, release,
picking and choosing which ones he's gonna go to live.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
That will that will be intriguing to see what the
Broncos do this year, because I mean that was one
team I was dead wrong about last year.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
M Yeah, me too.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
I think everybody.
Speaker 8 (12:31):
I think everybody, Yeah, but.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
You're like fan point out on them. I was just like, oh,
you know, Russell's there and all the pieces and the
defense and all, and then it was like, oh.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Oh Coopers.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
At one point, Cooper was banging for Brett Ripping to
start games for the Broncos last year based on how
Rust looked. But at least he's taken in some playoff
games there in Denver, so he's hanging out. Uh so, yeah,
that that made look he looked very happy. He looked jovial.
You know, it looked very very happy to be there
with with and and so did did uh coach John
(13:05):
Payton coach looked looked happy too. They looked very happy
there together. His wife, I mean, that's his wife. Did
you not hear say was it as jump off? Was it?
We wasn't sure?
Speaker 1 (13:20):
Who what do you mean by that? What do you
mean by jump to jump off? Look it up by
the way.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
I feel like that could be considered like, that's got
multiple definitions. Yeah, that is is that there have said
that's that's one of That was one of like that
was one of those phrases where someone would say it
and you kind of had to continue to pay attention
to the conversations.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
It could go in a couple of different days.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
It could be a bunch of different things, Like it
could be attributed to let's just categorize it as like
a sickness or something you got you got to get
rid of.
Speaker 5 (13:50):
Yeah, you got that jump off, you get.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
That jump off. It could be it could be something
like what you just mentioned, persons.
Speaker 5 (13:59):
Get it pop in.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
You know.
Speaker 6 (14:02):
It just could be a good time, you know it
could I mean, yeah, you know, it could be conversation starter.
Speaker 5 (14:08):
You know. Yeah, it could be a couple of Yeah,
a lot of different things.
Speaker 6 (14:11):
Yeah, the sickness is the funniest though, the jump the
jump off with the sickness.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
That's what I said. You got to keep listening. Someone
might bring it up. You're like, oh, I don't want that.
Speaker 6 (14:23):
From the situation, don't want the jump off. No, oh man, okay,
there that'll night's games. You're western at Eastern Conference Semis.
We get ready for more action coming up later on.

(15:07):

Speaker 3 (15:14):
That's next.

LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas KNOCKX with you here. You
can hang out with us as always on the iHeartRadio app.
By the way, coming up in we'll call it twenty
minutes from now. We've got some really dumb honesty in
the world of sports.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
I mean, isn't that us every day? At least for me?
Speaker 1 (15:48):
This is worse, is it?
Speaker 5 (15:50):
Really?
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (15:50):
This is worse.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
I mean I kind of like the term that's a
that's a shirt, dumb honesty. I like, that's just stupid.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
Keep that one. We just got to keep that to
our store.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
Man.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
In fact, it all go as far as to say
this person may be considered an idiot. So we'll get
into that for you again coming up twenty minutes from
now from the ti raq dot Com stude.
Speaker 6 (16:08):
Honesty noun or not nown But what is that called? Adjective?
Not an adjective? What is it when it's the same
thing A synonym? Yeah, synonym? Yeah, synonymous? Yeah, idiot, yeah,
dumb honesty It could be. I like, dumb honesty. That's
(16:29):
that's kind of I think I might use that. That
might be my new thing, Like you're being called the
truth dumb honesty. Yeah, dang, that's a synonym too. Yeah,
it was kind of profound. Man. I had to stop
for a second. Merch lines really coming together, it really is.
I mean, and there's so many people that inbox me
(16:51):
and say they want to they want to do it.
I got a really reputable company that wants to do it.
By the way, whenever you guys are ready, my.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Only question is how fat can they rip those things
off the Can they do them bulk so we don't
have to hold inventory? They do? Oh, they do? Okay,
that makes easier, you know.
Speaker 6 (17:09):
I'm I'm right there with you, bro. I mean, I
don't I don't have any type of degrees. It has
to be a shirt, yeah, paa man has to be one.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
The Roger Goodell Grinch Christmas.
Speaker 6 (17:19):
Shirt that has to be one. Yeah, come on, man,
I'm really going to do this. I'm really going to
do this.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
We're going to do this.
Speaker 5 (17:26):
Racist that's got to be one too.
Speaker 6 (17:28):
You know, just Burdo dot dot dot question Berto, that's
how you know. Yeah, people listen to the show, real diehards. Yeah, man,
just another one that just says todd just for no reason,
that will do fun. I mean I'm telling you, we
got we got a whole store.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
Man.
Speaker 6 (17:44):
Yeah, there's a lot of stuff going on there. Put
them on a hat, T shirt. You know, I'm looking
pretty sexy these days. I got my waist trainer on
the day, Q. You know what I mean. I was
just telling. I was telling, Uh, what does that look like?
A waist trainer? Yeah, it's just like a whole bunch
of us like velcrow straps that you put around your
stomach and it doesn't let me breathe.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
It's a tool belt with no tools.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
Yeah, basically the tools are underneath. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (18:11):
Yeah, that's right, being compressed, you know, being being trained
not to be more.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
Toolish than what they are, like less tool you know.
Speaker 6 (18:20):
Yeah, that's why it's a waist trainer, because it's training
my waist. It works, I'm telling it's working. Some of
us just aren't naturally slim, you know. Some of us
have like beer guts because we drink a lot of beer.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
Does that kind of contract to be a natural then?
Speaker 5 (18:36):
Yeah? Maybe it does.
Speaker 6 (18:38):
Yeah, a beer gut. That's dumb, honest beer dumb honesty.
There you go, there, you go there, That was it?
Emotion dumb honesty. Emotion can we.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Talk about whether or not Robert sala is being honest,
now that we're on.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
The subject, dumb, honest or just honest. I just honest, period.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
So he spoke with Rich Eisen who said that the
Jets picking at fifteen and a thirteen made no difference,
and he was alluding to the fact that they would
still be taking Iowa State defensive end Will McDonald at
thirteen anyways. And look, I mean, we're splitting hairs here
and ultimately it doesn't matter. But do you mean to
(19:21):
tell me that if the Patriots hadn't traded out of
the spot right before them and the Steelers jumped up
and took Broderick Jones the tackle from Georgia that Robert Salin,
the Jets would have passed on taking a tackle there
and still would have gone with Will McDonald, Like, do
we feel like that was the direction they would have gone.
I know, he's not supposed to say anything other than yeah,
(19:43):
we love this guy and we would have taken him
here at this spot because part of the course when
it comes to the draft afterwards. But I do feel
like maybe New England and Pittsburgh pulled off a deal
that the Jets looked at and said, well, damn, we
would have liked to have had had the tackle there,
considering Dwayne Brown and and you know the stuff we
talked about with Makai Beckton, who at one point was
apparently over four hundred pounds and is going to social
(20:06):
media saying that he wants to be a starting left tackle.
So just feels like like maybe Robert Sala hasn't you know,
it's just kind of saying what he has to say,
but maybe would have gone in the different direction and
things changed there at fifteen.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Yeah, maybe, I mean, honestly, only they know. I don't
care either way. I mean, Will McDonald's one of the
more underrated players that went the first round that's not
getting a lot of buzz that I think could actually
have a pretty big impact. Like he's a very experienced
but also he comes into the league with a lot
of different pass rush moves. He was one of the
more developed players from his time at Iowa State into
(20:41):
the draft and he kind of got overshadowed I think
by guys like Will Anderson. But he's very capable of
make an impact. Man. I'm telling you, like, he's a
very good player. I wouldn't be shocked at all. I mean,
and by the way, their track record so far, basically
outside of Zach Wilson, has been dead on even at
some of their later round picks. I mean the Becton one,
(21:03):
if you're looking at it, I think if he stays
healthy and maybe the way this year is something. I mean,
he still obviously has an opportunity to prove himself this year.
But I mean, even he's got capability, but the guys
they've brought in this roster that they've you know, either
drafted or even signed to a degree, have all made
big impacts. I mean, it is a it's a roster
that's ready to win right now. So I I personally,
(21:26):
you know, it doesn't really matter Alteny to me. I'm
just curious to see the impact that he can make
this year.
Speaker 6 (21:32):
I think he'll be a guy that has the opportunity
in this this division to have an impact, you know,
like like, uh, who's my man? Uh drawn Dougon or
what's my man's name? And New England number ninethe He's
kind of got to me. He kind of has that
(21:54):
type of like, you know, length, and he's rs been
a great signing for I think you could get some
really good production off of off of him off of
that edge. And you know at six ' three, you know,
he's uh, he showed out like he really helped his
stock in in the Senior Bowl week. If if people
(22:16):
recall watching watching the Senior Bowl practices, and you know,
I think he's just one of those guys where he
is a sneaky pick at fifteen. But if you really
think about it, they went oh line with their next
two picks. They picked up a center and an offensive tackle,
(22:37):
and and so they ended up they ended up addressing
their their upfront needs in the draft. And I mean listen,
it was round what round two, round four? That round
four they get the offensive tackle, but in round two
they get tipped in uh tip tipman, Uh leave it alone.
(23:00):
They get Hi about forty three in the second round.
And I'm certain that they'll be able to insert him
pretty pretty seamlessly.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
He's gonna be able to assert himself. Yeah yeah, yeah,
I mean some would say he's a day one starter.
Speaker 6 (23:13):
Yeah, Ok, he's in there. There you go, leading the charge. Yeah,
there we go. Yeah you you or something else? Boy,
I'll tell you big doing kickoff? What what?
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Just a class act?
Speaker 6 (23:26):
I can't believe you a glass act a couple of
couple of professionals here on this show. Also, I think
if you ask the Jets, hey, look, you can get Rogers,
but you know, you might have to drop down a
couple of spots and not not laying the offensive tackle
out of Georgia Broderick Jones.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
But you're gonna get Aaron Rodgers. They'll probably take that.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
Yes. So so here's how everyone's framing this is like, oh,
you know, they the Patriots, you know, end up you know,
trading out, and then the Steelers get the guy that
the Jets wanted, right, Like that's the whole narrative behind this, right, Yeah,
It's like, well, wouldn't both Steelers and Patriots take Aaron
Rodgers if they could have got him?
Speaker 5 (24:04):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Okay, yeah, then what does it really matter?
Speaker 2 (24:08):
I agree with because it's fun to think about, in
a couple of years from now, what if, like the
Patriots and Jets made a trade in the fourth round
and the Patriots used that pick to take a kicker.
So if a kicker ends up beating the Jets in
a close game between New England and New York, people
are going to look back on it and go, oh, man,
that was the guy they made the trade for. It's
just one of those what if she looked back on
(24:29):
you go oh, if this could have happened, if that
could have happened, And then you get reminded about it
later on, and it is the Jets. They do have
a history of being clowned by the Patriots, and it
is there. So really, I don't think it happens this year,
but there is, there is the potential it's happened.
Speaker 5 (24:43):
In the past. You know.
Speaker 6 (24:44):
It's interesting about the whole idea. You got Aaron Rodgers.
Think about this. Everybody's talking about how long will he play?
If you get if you get on the low, you
get him for two years on the low, yeah, all right,
on the high? What you get them for four to five?
For three to four, three to four? Yeah, okay. How
(25:08):
many years did they get out of Zach Wilson?
Speaker 5 (25:12):
A year and a half?
Speaker 6 (25:12):
Okay, think about that. Yeah, So with a top draft
pick from your draft, you got a year and a half.
If and if we want to say year and a
half at best, you want giving that half?
Speaker 5 (25:24):
We could give him a half, all right, at best?
Speaker 6 (25:28):
So if you get a year of Aaron Rodgers and
then now anything after that is a bonus. Then you're
talking about you got a draft pick out of Aaron Rodgers,
and I mean, I know that's what we're basically saying,
but I mean to me that that's probably what really
made their draft really as phenomenal as it is, because
(25:48):
you did address your defensive side of the ball further. Like,
your defense side of the ball is already nice, it's
already coming together nicely up front, and you added more
to it, more firepower, but then you add to your
offensive line to make sure that you're protecting them with
the free agents that you were able to bring in.
I mean, this was of a tremendous off season so
(26:09):
far for the New York Jet.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
That's what we talked about it at the time.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
If you would if you guys would have found out
that the compensation to get Aaron Rodgers was two first
round picks, would you have batten an eye about it?
I wouldn't have, Like, Okay, sign me up two years,
no problem. I'll roll the dice for two years with
that roster and Aaron Rodgers and take my chances and
I'll have zero regrets after that.
Speaker 6 (26:27):
That's like if you saw some hammers, would you be like, nah,
I'm good.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
Interesting, very interesting comparison. I mean you definitely give it
a good hard look. You definitely would in that case.
Speaker 6 (26:50):
Especially look, especially if you're adding people to your personnel
name tipman.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
It's just, uh, you know, it's funny.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Everyone seems to make going all in about free agency
and then the signing for guys, and it's like, this
isn't an essence going all in. I mean, it's using
draft capital. But essentially the Jets are doing. Isn't that
what's what's worked for Tampa?
Speaker 5 (27:16):
And yeah, going all the way? Yeah, I mean why not?
Speaker 3 (27:21):
Right, And you're just staying in as long as you can.
You're staying in that that that window of opportunity.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
It's a great point.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
It's all about the point.
Speaker 5 (27:31):
Yeah, and the tipman. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
And look, you get to see where they're at at
the end of you get you get to see where
they're at the end of their first.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
While you stuttered because what you studied, something was said
in my ear that was wasn't quite sharing.
Speaker 6 (27:48):
These new studios while it was on the air.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
That is, it never is as nice as the real thing.
Speaker 6 (27:59):
I mean, I mean you know, never times, like right
at the big okay, never mind, never times, never mind.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
Yeah, I mean I'm.
Speaker 6 (28:08):
Kind of wit you, Burnto, but I'm kind of with
you too, like I don't know, I.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Feel conflicted here.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
It only escalates from there.
Speaker 6 (28:16):
It does only escalate. And you have dilemmas or decisions
like you have real time decisions to make when you're
in that situation. Yeah, that's a great power, like should
I stay or should I go?
Speaker 1 (28:29):
And we'll get to see, Hey.
Speaker 6 (28:33):
Burto, should I stay here or should I go?

Speaker 12 (30:57):
Good morning, Good more into you, guys. In case you
missed this, a golfer set a course record. There was
a US Open qualifying at the Illinois Country Club on Monday.
Speaker 8 (31:12):
Hey, Lee Braday, Morning, LaVar Morning Jonas Illinois.
Speaker 12 (31:17):
Yeah, but it was at the Illinois Country Club in Lini, Illinis.
Speaker 8 (31:32):
Cedars Isleni, All right.
Speaker 12 (31:40):
Fellas, let me try this again. There was a US
Open qualifying events there and one golfer, a fifth year
senior at Illinois set a course record shooting at sixty two.
What was more impressive was it was on air rated greens. Now,
the problem with that is is that he found out
that he was making corrections to the air rated greens
and decided to tell official at the end of the match,
(32:01):
saying you couldn't sleep with himself if he did. But
by doing so, he basically disqualified himself because by rule,
you're not allowed to correct air rated marks.
Speaker 1 (32:09):
On the greens.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
You can make it. You can make.
Speaker 12 (32:11):
Corrections of course to ball marks and what marks made
by the flag sick YadA YadA, and animal damage, but
not air rated marks.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
The records is questionable statements that you're making.
Speaker 12 (32:22):
So the records now, the record stands.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
Actually, he disqualified himself.
Speaker 12 (32:27):
He disqualified himself from qualifying for the US Open, but
he did officially make the course right.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
Well, then give Lance Armstrong as trophies back if that's
the way we're gonna play this.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Come on, man, huh, what's he doing yourself? Tommy Cool by.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
Tommy Cool.
Speaker 12 (32:49):
U h L, which by the way, is a good
uh clothing brand.
Speaker 6 (32:52):
I like cool Interesting. I thought you smoked those, don't
you smoke?
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Cool Cool water? That's still a the alone.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
God, what you don't like cool water? No, why would
you bring it up if you don't like It's.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
Like liquor store cologne?
Speaker 2 (33:06):
Get it next to you want so you want to?
You keep mambo out of your mouth?
Speaker 3 (33:13):
Mambo?
Speaker 5 (33:14):
What about juice?
Speaker 1 (33:15):
Spice? Adams jupe? Get a little bit of.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Juice, little jupe? Yeah, a little jupe? Track our or whatever? Car?
Car is it? Ill I.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
What else we got?
Speaker 12 (33:38):
And Illinois fellas For the second time in a month,
The Athletics have reached an agreement on a potential news
stadium in Las Vegas.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
Uh.
Speaker 12 (33:46):
They've reached a deal to build a stadium at the
Troumpicana site.
Speaker 8 (33:52):
You just don't want to say. I'm right today.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
I can't do it. To the side of the bed.
Speaker 8 (33:57):
Oh yeah, we heard.
Speaker 11 (34:00):
Hurt.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Todd pushed over to the wrong side.
Speaker 12 (34:06):
I actually had to pick up Todd. He blew a
tire and I had to pick him up and draw
him home.
Speaker 5 (34:10):
Blew a tire?
Speaker 3 (34:11):
Tire again?
Speaker 1 (34:12):
Was that on his scooter?
Speaker 8 (34:15):
Didn't he because he don't have a car, Right, he's
got a scooter?
Speaker 12 (34:17):
No, I've got a I did he did have a scooter?
I did pick him up in his scooter?
Speaker 1 (34:22):
Does he have a vest?
Speaker 3 (34:24):
No? Wait, wait, this is the second time you got
to pick him up for car trouble issues or something.
Speaker 12 (34:28):
Yeah, this happens, Okay, happening.
Speaker 6 (34:32):
I mean, you guys think he wants you to come
get he is Todd's Triple A.
Speaker 12 (34:36):
It's sure, He's like, where's your Triple A car?
Speaker 1 (34:40):
He's like real life cable guy.
Speaker 8 (34:41):
Yeah, cable guy by day. If you guys have a guy.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
You guys ever stayed at the Tropicanad in Vegas? If
you stay there, you'll think you're back in the sixties,
that everything is so outdated, at least it was the
last time I was there. It's kind of a nice
little throwback reminder of how things.
Speaker 5 (34:58):
Went back in the day.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
Was he last time you were there?
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Staying at the Tropicana? Not that long ago, like two
thousand and seven.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Sixteen years ago, but you know, a little bit slow
and much.
Speaker 8 (35:13):
They may have renovated it, just a tat bit.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
Yeah, but I don't want to think about the renovations.
Speaker 6 (35:18):
I was trying to think about the time I stayed there,
all right, you know, sixty years ago.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
I just love would you give advice like that. Oh,
you would go see a place that's still decorated like
the sixties. Go to the Tropican I've been there in
two decades.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
And yes, yes, And if they get there and it's
been renovated, it's not my problem.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
Should have gotten out there sooner.
Speaker 12 (35:36):
They are going to tear it down actually and build
it back up across the street.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
Huh the Tropicana. Yeah, because they got paid to do it.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
Well, they got paid.
Speaker 8 (35:43):
To do it.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
Good for down that was part of the A's agreement.
Speaker 12 (35:47):
Yep, one point five billion dollars stadium, And yes, that.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Is part of the deal.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
You know how awesome it's going to be to have
a major League Baseball stadium on the strip. Does anybody
have any idea how much better it's going to be
for the A's and just Vegas in general. And Mark
Davis can cry all he once. There's plenty of people there.
Everyone's gonna be okay.
Speaker 3 (36:06):
Come on, And that's a new definition for moneyball. Huh.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Yeah, listen, Now, are they going to have a dome?
Because it gets really hot there? I hope so I
would make I would probably have to.
Speaker 5 (36:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Yeah, it's like uncomfortably like Arizona. The Diamondbacks are they indoors?
Speaker 6 (36:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, But the sun Devils aren't.
Speaker 5 (36:30):
They're not under sun roofs on the sun Devils.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
No. And I've called a game there in September.
Speaker 5 (36:36):
Let me tell you something.
Speaker 6 (36:37):
I did a football camp there in mid July and
and we had to like our shoes, our feet, our
soles of our feet were starting to burn. You had
to come off of the field so that they could
water the field.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Wait, Brady, didn't you tell a story? Was that you
were petros who called the game there and you couldn't
believe how bad the press boxes were, Like it was
just a setup at that time.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
I believe they were doing some construction. But if they
didn't have any AC, they had to bring in like
a temporary AC unit. So we just had one of
those like round, like silver like coiled like hoses like
just sprang on us. And I remember like profusely sweating
through my shirt. I'm like, I'm gonna be on TV
(37:23):
looking like an absolute idiot. I mean, not that's that
different from the normal, but like sweating through my shirt.
I'm like, we're gonna have to wear jackets and hopefully
I don't sweat through this jacket too.
Speaker 5 (37:32):
Wow, I had them going up downs, up.
Speaker 8 (37:35):
Downs downs.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
