Speaker 3 (01:36):
Good morning, Good morning?
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Every morning exciting.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
I I met a couple observations from last night's game.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Okay, what's that?
Speaker 4 (01:45):
The first is officiating is just as bad as I
think people have been saying. Like I came to the
conclusion watched that game. It is so inconsistent and I
can understand why fans are beside themselves. And then basically
the reactions to.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
That game.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Gave you a really detailed response to who bet on
who and what they bet on Because one of our
good buddies, Todd Furman was irate with how the game
was played in that fourth quarter, and I can guarantee
you he laid the points with Buffalo and he had
the over based on his commentary on Twitter.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
All right, I'll just gotta leave it at that.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
I mean, because listen, Tampa Bay had no business having
that game at six points with that much time remaining.
I mean, there was the touchdown pass to Evans like
bounced off the defender. Then they went for two, which
I didn't really understand.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
But well, that's the whole expected expected value, you know method.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
It's it's math.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
You go for two then when you're down fourteen, and
if you get it now, you're down six, so the
next time you only have to kick it and you win.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
It's all about looking at your greatest.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
Probability of winning the game in regulation, as opposed to
if you kick two pats, you're only playing to extend
the game into overtime.
Speaker 5 (03:11):
So that'd be the theory behind it.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
I mean, I agree with you, Jonas, but hey, listen,
kick the.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Guy dang field goal. You're not.
Speaker 6 (03:21):
I mean, I guess you could say, you know, it's
a struggling team, like, let's let's play for the win,
but kick the field goal.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Keep playing with the Pats.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yeah, Pat, Yeah, I mean, look, it's uh, but that's
like a larger discussion with Buffalo. Why why is it?
It seems like it's so much more difficult than it
has to be. And I know those are kind of
flukey plays and that you know, the ball bounced off
the defender, but why is the game that close at
(03:55):
that point? On a short week with Tampa Bay? It
felt like this was Buffalo at every opportunity to run
away with this thing. And it's like the same conversation
with them every single week. There's just something off and
I don't know what it is now. You know, Josh Allen,
you know, got nicked up a little bit with that
shoulder issue. But it just feels like they can't close
(04:17):
games and make you feel like, Okay, this is something
here they did against Miami and then since then they
just haven't been able to do it.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
I know it's Tampa. Is Tampa a little bit better
than what maybe? Like, is Tampa as good as what
the score indicated? Is what I left the game like
kind of wondering, not is Buffalo because it seemed as
though maybe they struggled, you know, they struggled a little bit,
(04:47):
but it didn't seem like they struggled because of the
stat line. Like when you look at Josh Allen's stat line,
it seemed like a really really like great game statistically
for him, but it just don't look like that in
the game. And I don't know why why that is
Like you see it and it's like, Okay, he's slinging
the ball. You know, at times he ran the ball,
(05:10):
but it was still kind of like, you know, for
for the better part of it, it was a manageable
a manageable game. I mean, twenty four, twenty four to
ten in in the fourth quarter is still a significant
that's a significant lead. I mean it's a two possession game.
That's still a significant lead. So I don't look at
(05:31):
it as being a close game. But was it closer
than what it should have been? Like if they play
against Miami or if they play against Kansas City, you know,
is this effort is what they are in this game?
Is that good enough to be able to win those games?
I think that's what I left the game wondering.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
I think what should concern you if you're a Bills fan,
is the fact that they couldn't close it out at home,
like where the game became close. Now, granted, if you
looked at the Tampa Bay Bucks in that final touchdown
scoring drive, for then they got bailed out by a
couple of fourth down penalties.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
However, those were legitim penalties.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
I mean dumb play to grab Baker Mayfield's face mask
on what was a game ceiling sack and then now
you give them new life again. It did feel like
though whenever there was a call, it felt like Buffalo
was the beneficiary of it, or a no call for
that matter. There was a play earlier when Tampa Bale
was backed up Tron Johnson literally grabs spun the back around.
(06:38):
I can't remember if it was Chase Evans or Shaun White,
but I was like, how the heck did that? Didn't
they like it didn't even get Amazon to give it
another look, And it almost was getting to the point
where I was like, man, there was some phantom calls.
I mean, there was a holding call where the Tampa
Bay Bucks right guard like drove the Buffalo Bills detack.
(07:00):
I can't remember who it was, but drove me to
the ground. It wasn't like he held or anything like that.
They called a holding on a long run on the
slot and it wasn't like that was holding either. I mean,
it was just good blocking, honestly. And in both cases
they got called for holding, and You're going, okay, like
this is getting to the point where it's inconsistent in
(07:21):
this game. And it gave you a sentense like no
one wants to see this Tampa team. No one when
I say no, no one wants to see this Tampa
team actually being able to compete and make a run
this year. It feels like there were some powers that
be who really wanted Buffalo to make sure they took care.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
Of business in this one. Don't you that way? Don't
you penalty as it did.
Speaker 6 (07:43):
But Mike Evans, he I felt like his touchdown catch
was a penalty. I mean, it was clearly a push
off on Mike. Mike Evans clearly pushed off. Really to
get watch which one the last one on his tach Yeah,
on his touchdown catch, I pushed off. I thought so too,
But I think him for certain, Well, it was the ball,
(08:05):
the ball deflected off the defender, off the defender, it
made it look a little awkward, but it's almost it's
almost as if we just accept mediocrity when it comes
to officiating now, like, like, I don't know how many
more times you have to like the Hail Mary. There's
like three different pis there, offensive and defensive.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
I mean eight flags, Like I don't wonder.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
And it's just like, nah, whatever, it's just a hail Mary. Okay, Well,
everybody go home happy. And Mike Evans looked around and
we just realized that's to hell Mary, and he helped
two guys up and they walked off the field. That
was it. Like we just were resigned to the fact
that this is just what you're going to get it again.
Speaker 6 (08:44):
Poor play, it's poor calls, poor calls.
Speaker 5 (08:48):
It's just not consistent.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Yeah, it's not consistent.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
My issue is you're going to call it in one
part of the game. You got to call it all
parts of the game.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Truth.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
That's all I'm saying, Like, be consistent with how you're
calling it. And I know the penalties at the end
of the day probably looked even when it was all
said and done, but again, that was only due to
the fact that you had the Buffalo Bill was committing
some really bad penalties at the worst opportune time to
extend drives to give Baker Mayfield the Bucks life. Like
trust me, it felt like the Bucks were trying to
(09:18):
end that game and just you know, move on to
next week, and yet the Bills kept giving them a
new set of downs.
Speaker 5 (09:25):
It was a little bit bizarre at times.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
But I don't know, man, I just I feel like
I learned a little bit more about both teams. Where
like the Bucks still have some fighting them they can
keep things competitive and close. Ultimately, for whatever reason, like
their offense just is not going to be consistent enough
to allow them to I think, you know, end up
(09:48):
making a run if they do get to the playoffs,
Like if they get to the playoffs. Defensively, they made
some plays that they hung in there, you know, as
best they could. And Josh Allen for the Bills, I
was playing a lot of hero ball, which he has
to at times too. Like I feel like that's the
consistency there is. They have times when James Cook can
break off big run. Other times nothing's there. I mean,
(10:08):
as far as their offensive efficiency, it's really interesting to
look at the Bills and just struggling to like find
any sort of consistency throughout the course of a game.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Look that goal line stop for Tampa Bay. Like Buffalo
on fourth down, they're interviewing Todd Bowles right before they
come out. I think it was it might have been
the end of the first quarter. I think it was
the second quartion. Yeah, and then you know, Kaylee Hartung's
interviewing Todd Bowles and he's like, like, what do you
expect on this fourth down? Play goes? I expect the
quarterback to run the football. Everybody expected him to. What happened?
(10:41):
Dalton Kincaid in motion, You're at the half yard line,
they throw it and gets knocked down, and fans the
next time Allen scored on a touchdown run, we're almost laughing,
like or a cheering as if, yeah, where was that
the first time around? Like they're trying to avoid it,
but sometimes that's just their best option.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
I think the Buffalo defense is a question mark. I
think in particular they're up front, and I know they're
banged up, but I just think their defense is going
to be a question mark moving forward, and what are
they going to bring to the table that maybe because
(11:18):
I think their offense is their offense. I think they're
a little bit spurdy. I don't think they've shown consistency.
In fact, I know they haven't shown consistency in terms
of what they're capable of doing or what they have
done at the highest of levels when they've done it,
versus not being as as explosive as they are. And
(11:40):
you know, maybe the one one game, maybe I say
that I saw them look very very very good, very explosive.
But I just think their defense is the pass rush
isn't as pronounced as it as it could or should be,
and it doesn't look like the type of defense that
would be able to deal with the more explosive offenses
(12:04):
that they're going to have to face if they're going
to be indeed that team that can take that next
step in the AFC side of the bracket.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Yeah, I mean, I don't see it, man. And I
think if you're a Bills fan and you're being honest,
like if you see Kansas City in the playoffs, that's
a rap.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
Like I just, by the way, would you say with
Baltimore right now, the way Baltimore looks.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Yeah, Like I I they feel like there's there's a
tier level in the AFC and the Bills are nowhere
close near the top of the AFC, Like, just did
you not.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
See like von Miller last night and some I mean,
you've got it called for one off sides, But I've
never seen a defender get as good as a jump
as he was getting. I mean, it was like if
it wasn't off sides, it was the closest thing I've
ever seen or the perfect timing for getting a jump
off that ball. I mean, Acre every time he dropped
(13:01):
back had to step up immediately in the pocket because
Van was literally crashing around the edge Like it was
so ridiculously good if it wasn't off sides, but it
felt like it was almost off sides every time.
Speaker 6 (13:15):
But that was it, Like you got off the ball, great,
got up field, but that was that was it. Like
I just feel like prushures and sacks and all that.
I mean, I just didn't feel like he was under
duress like he should have been. From that that the
looks offensive line.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
Did a good job, like they kept highlighting worfs working
against a jpinessa And.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
I mean is that OK. Now that goes back to
my original point. Then is Tampa Bay better?
Speaker 3 (13:42):
In my mind? You know?
Speaker 6 (13:43):
What I mean, like coming into it, I'm like Tampa
Bay is like a pretty average team.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
They're five hundred team there, average team? Are they?
Speaker 6 (13:49):
Are they better than what I'm in my mind I'm
looking at them to be No, I didn't think so,
but I mean they they did some things that made
them look on the decent.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
I thought. I thought like.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
The Bills did a good job when they needed they
just for whatever reason couldn't kind of close things out.
And I think a lot of people were taking, you know,
frustration in Sean McDermott's decisions when he did have fourth
and twos. He did have fourth and I think a
fourth and one as well. Yeah, and he really really
played super conservative right, didn't go for in either instance it,
(14:24):
you know, tried to leave the team out there and
try to draw all the bucks off sides. And that's
so different than most analytical plays that we see nowadays,
where most teams say, no, I've jumped Shallen, I'm gonna
do a quarterback run, I'm gonna get the first down.
Games over, I'm never gonna give Tampa Bay the ball
back with any chance to throw a hail Mary, which
was a perfectly thrown ball hill, Mary. But as Jonas
(14:47):
kind of pointed out, like could have probably thrown the
flag on four or five different instances, isn't that would
never turn it around again other.
Speaker 6 (14:54):
Way, right, Like you could have thrown it on the
defense and the offense on the hill.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
It's just like, I wonder, has there ever been a
p I thrown on a hail?
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Mary?
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Like, I don't know this.
Speaker 5 (15:05):
I'm just saying, you know, you know I've got a
story of that about that.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
I really don't tell us.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Tell us, I swear to you, I don't tell us.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
We lost in when I was in Cleveland.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Literally when I was in Cleveland, we lost on the
final play of a game on a defensive PI on
Calvin Johnson and he gave Matt Stafford and the Lions
an untimed down. He threw a touchdown pass and they
kicked the pat and to win.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Was this when Stafford was a rookie he had the
shoulder injury, like yes, and he did the sneak and
it was like, oh, his toughness got it, gutted him
through it.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Oh man, you didn't they push a man on that?
Speaker 4 (15:45):
Wasn't like that a push in it wasn't a sneak.
He threw a pass. After that, he came in, they
put Calpepper in. Carl Pepper came back out, and they
put him back in like after they took some time,
and then he threw a touchdown pass and then they
kicked the pat that was over.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
Oh man, Well that sucks. I do have something that's
gonna make you feel better, though.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
I mean, biggest buzzkill I've ever experienced, next to the
private bush push, but only because like you kind of
looked at the bush push like, well, like you kind
of like those guys are gonna be tough to stop
when you've got the game down to a hell Mary
and you're up on the other side and you're like, oh,
I gotta call p I yes they are, and there.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Goes the game.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
So when Rogers beat Detroit with that hell Mary, you
must have loved it, Like, how's it feel like? How's
it feel like?
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Now?
Speaker 1 (16:35):
You know what it's like.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
I gotta be honest, I didn't feel anything. I just
watched it. I was like, Wow, it's a really good
heill Mary throw. That's a hail Mary.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
What a catch I got.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
With me? Run quick?
Speaker 5 (16:52):
See what do we have here now do you want to?
Speaker 3 (17:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (17:01):
Goohead, go ahead, don't push me. Revenge is like the
sweetest joy.
Speaker 6 (17:05):
Next to come on, cute show shoot be showing they
are show You had big head What to think right now?
Q you had big headphones that you definitely had big headphones.
(17:26):
You had base headphones. You didn't have the little ones. Man,
your headphones covered your ears. Were you used to Were
you around when they had like CDs you had?
Speaker 3 (17:35):
Did you have to have a CD binder? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Yeah, I used to have the one where like you
could like drop kick it, but it was like patied her.
Speaker 6 (17:42):
Big as big as hell, like could carry like you
had like twenty pages of.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
Front and back.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Yeah, yeah, of course. Okay.
Speaker 6 (17:52):
I banged with you more and more, dog like, I
bet like I get to know some things about you,
like what you just didn't bang with you a little
bit bored every day Jonas, go ahead, man.
Speaker 1 (18:02):

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Come on, come on, it's Friday.
Speaker 6 (18:11):

Speaker 5 (18:19):

Speaker 1 (18:28):

Speaker 3 (18:32):

Speaker 1 (18:38):

he has soft, baby bottom ass hands.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
Listen, nothing wrong with putting some lotion on your hands.
Hard working man, you know, sitting here having to hold
a pen and jot down notes. You know you've developed
some blisters, you know, some calluses. That's what it's like. Man,
Oh my gosh, like the coal mines or.
Speaker 5 (20:29):
It rubs the lotion on its skin. It does this
whenever it's toll.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
What a great movie.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
All right, So it is two bros and a cup
of Joe, by the way, coming up less than twenty
minutes from now here from the ti rack dot com studios,
we have what may be the greatest birthday gift ever
and it's NFL related. So that'll be yours twenty minutes
from now here from the tirac dot com Studios. But
something that may not make some people have listening on
(21:01):
the zone in Nashville. Is the great Derrick Henry a
borderline hall of famer? I mean, if he just continues
on this trajectory, he's going to be a Hall of Famer.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
Well, I mean on this trajectory, Yeah, isn't he already
hall of Famer?
Speaker 1 (21:15):
I don't think so.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
And if you don't think you could deem him as
the best running back for like a three or four
year span, yeah, but.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
I think it's a down year for running backs or
down era for running backs. I don't think historically you
look at Derrick Henry and go, he's one of the
all time greats. I wouldn't, which sucks. I mean, I
love watching him play, but it just feels like the
game has changed.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
But what trajectory is he on?
Speaker 6 (21:39):
If not having a Hall of Fame career just yet,
how what's his trajectory today?
Speaker 1 (21:48):
What do you mean?
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Just like, I mean, if he gets like moving forward.
Speaker 5 (21:52):
What if he gets over ten thousand yards? Does that
change your opinion?
Speaker 3 (21:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
I would think so, because then then it becomes the
conversation turns to can you tell the story of the
NFL without talking about Derrick Henry, and there's enough moments
and his two thousand yard season and the things that
he did that you would go, Okay, he's now he's
got the credentials. Now he's at the past the ten
thousand yard threshold, which is what they consider you know,
(22:19):
where you get in the conversation now, then yeah, I
would say that he's there for sure and.
Speaker 6 (22:24):
Coming at me this season, he's he's under two thousand, Like,
he doesn't have to get more than two thousand yards
to achieve that, So he could probably get that done
in the next what this season, next season.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
Yeah, thirteen hundred more yards. Yeah, but as atas Sands
right now, his career ended today, I don't know that
I would call him hall of famer.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
I mean, the crazy thing about his career is off
of the two thousand yard season, right, he went for
fifteen hundred yards two thousand yards.
Speaker 5 (22:52):
The next season, he was on pace to do that again.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
Yeah, he was averaging one hundred and seventeen yard per game,
but he missed half the year and he's still almost
had a thousand.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
Yards in eight games.
Speaker 4 (23:06):
Like he's been on a terror dude, Like I don't know,
Like I mean this year, it's been more of a
down year and maybe it has more to do with
what's kind of happened around him, But still, like, I
don't know, man, he's to me. I think you could
have viewed him as the best running back in the
NFL from twenty nineteen to argue i'd say last year.
(23:27):
Like that's a four year span where you'd say he's
proven statistically and I think a lot of people would
probably agree when he was healthy and out there, he's
the best running back easily.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
Yeah, but where does he go from here?
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Well, if you believe some of the reports could be
a Baltimore Raven now that is that would be a
match made in Heaven's that's a report.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
How do we say that? Though?
Speaker 6 (23:52):
Like they like to throw the football now, yeah, but
they've always liked their run too. They'd like to run
the ball. They just I'd rather see many injuries.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
I'd rather see him go somewhere like Buffalo and then
you just put him back there and he just dominates people.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
I mean, imagine having to deal with him.
Speaker 6 (24:12):
It will be hard to do it in AFC North.
But I mean Baltimore loves to run the ball, to
which I mean maybe not.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
What is it, Mounkin? I think it's Todd Monk. Yeah,
maybe it's not. That's not so much.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
You imagine having to tackle him and then Derrick Henry
comes out and Gus Edwards goes in and you got
to tackle him.
Speaker 5 (24:31):
They're both gigantic backs.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
They are big dudes.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
So this report is from A to Z Sports. Again,
it's just a report, all right, But okay, I've heard
of that, all right. So A is E Sports. Uh,
they uh that the Ravens are the most interested in
acquiring Derrek Henry from the Titans if he does get
dealt now. The trade deadline is October thirty, first of
this coming Tuesday, Halloween. Yeah, so you know, maybe this
(24:58):
is something that gets done. I just and we were
talking about this earlier this week. If you're Tennessee, I
know you don't want to part with him. You'd love
to keep everybody. It's like Tampa Bay probably doesn't want
to part with Mike Evans after the season, but they
didn't redo his contract, and it feels like that's where
that's headed. Why wouldn't you make the move now Buyerd's gone?
(25:21):
You know, you could move on from Derrick Henry DeAndre
Hopkins been floated out there. He just got there, but
he could be traded. It does make some sense, and
then it just becomes who are the most fascinating candidates.
I would also say the Chargers as well too. I
don't know what they've got that they can part with,
but I would love to see Justin Herbert get a
bruising back that could eat up some yards so they're
(25:43):
not having to rely on him to try and you know,
do what he does.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
And Austin Eckler when healthy, is their most.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
Productive player.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
He feels like more of a pass catcher though, like
and I would just that would be interesting to see.
But Buffalo Baltimore would be awesome. The Chargers would be fun.
Speaker 4 (26:03):
What if you had a team like the forty nine
Ers who just took him so no one else could happen?
Speaker 8 (26:08):
Oh please they had him?
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Yeah please? Or the Eagles at this point like why not?
Speaker 3 (26:13):
Yeah? Funny? Would that you would be a cheat code
if they had him?
Speaker 4 (26:17):
Seriously, like they're like, could you We just want to
make sure no one else gets so we're gonna take them.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Hey, would you just do the tush push every single
play of the game, Like just eat up yards, like
going like fourteen minute fourteen minute drives and just pick
up three four yards of carry just with him and
Jalen Hurd. It's like that that would be fun to
watch as well too. I just he seems like he's
still got enough left. It's just the situation he's in
(26:44):
right now in Tennessee. They're just terrible, like they're not
any good. And so I just wonder who would be
the most likely candidate out there?
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Lee?
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Can you see if there's betting odds most Derrek Henry
betting odds if he gets traded where he ends up?
Speaker 5 (26:57):
Why is Lee looking this up? Isn't that your department?
Speaker 1 (26:59):
He's faster than me. I'm not a great type.
Speaker 5 (27:01):
That's not so much.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
I'm not a great type.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
Where it is what it is not.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
Everybody has your gift man to where even when your
MIC's on mute, we can hear you typing.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
That is true.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
You know what.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
I have been consciously not typing because I'm so scared
of Levar's ridicule about my my type.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Yeah, why do you do that?
Speaker 3 (27:22):
If you if your name was Jonas Knox, you have
ten dollars going into the pot.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
I'm just being for you. It wasn't like being passive aggressive.
It kind of felt passive. It's a moment.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
Ridicule is a strong word for me just saying how
impressed I am with how quickly your fingers moved. Damn
it seems I was giving you compliments about how your
finger dexterity was and and you could hear it.
Speaker 5 (27:49):
I think it was said yesterday that I typed like
a jackhammer.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
I did say that, I mean.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Hammering.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
It might be hyperbole, but yeah, yeah, I didn't say that.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
It is fair.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Lee.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
We got odds on Derek Henry's next team.
Speaker 8 (28:03):
Yeah, some places.
Speaker 9 (28:04):
I'm finding the Bills as a favorite actually plus two hundred,
followed by the Chiefs plus three hundred, Dolphins plus four hundred.
Speaker 6 (28:10):
The Chiefs got a hold of Derrick Henry. Forget about it,
I know, forget about it Prochecko and Derrick Henry, or
even if you traded Prochecko to go back to you know,
Tennessee to get him. I mean, you put Dereck Henry
on that Chiefs team. I mean, what does that look like?
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Who else?
Speaker 3 (28:36):
We got Lee?
Speaker 2 (28:38):
In order?
Speaker 9 (28:38):
We got Bills, Chiefs, Dolphins, Cowboys, Stealers, Vikings, are tied
with the Ravens at plus nine hundred, followed up with Bengals.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
And Seahawks Miami.
Speaker 5 (28:49):
I mean, how are the Jets not on there? Don't
they like to get running backs or signed running backs
and not using.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
What geez?
Speaker 3 (28:58):
I'm just saying.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
It is fair. You know, there's a lot of uh,
you know, uh, Dalvidcook, a lot of discussion out there
and then foxting. You know, nothing's going on, nothing's much
stapping in there, and it just seems like I was.
Speaker 5 (29:12):
Like, wait, didn't he just gets rated like and now
he's there, and yet they don't really use them.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
No use them.
Speaker 1 (29:18):

Speaker 1 (30:46):
You should see the way Eddie Garcia looks at Sam
when Sam dances. Eddie, could you describe them that that
little diddy from Sam right there, it.
Speaker 8 (31:01):
Looks like he's practicing some karate moves.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
You know, you know what it reminds me of. You
remember the scene in Home Alone where he's got the
puppet and the shower and he's pretending like there's somebody
inside the house, and he's waving his arms up and
down like that's what Sam looks like, just arms going
straight up and down.
Speaker 11 (31:18):
I actually think you were conflating the first and second movie.
What do you mean, because there's the scene where he
tricks them with the cardboard cutouts at Jordan are on
the rotating train, and the second one it's the guy
in the shower. Yeah really, yeah, whatever, but I hear
what you're saying.
Speaker 8 (31:34):
Yeah, thank you. That is my dance.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
Yeah, there it is. Looks good by the way, coming
up top the next hour here on two pros and
a cup of Joe. We'll call it a little over
twelve minutes from now we are you know, listen, we've
got updates.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
All right.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Somebody is, you know, defending themselves, and somebody may be
defending themselves against one LeVar Arrington. I mean again, I'm
just saying, you.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Know, against me.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
I'm just saying I.
Speaker 3 (31:59):
Am no Brady Quinn.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
Bro Okay.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
People don't look at what I say.
Speaker 6 (32:03):
And here we go, have you know, inflammatory inflammatory reactions
to the things I say.
Speaker 1 (32:09):
Look, I'm not trying to stir anything up. I just
think that there there could be something that's directed at
one LeVar Arrington. So we'll get to that here coming up, sure,
hope not. In a little over twelve minutes from now.
Before we get to another edition of In case you
missed it that, I want to let you know we

Speaker 9 (32:48):
Last good corning everybody, morning, Jonas Morton, Brady, morning LeVar.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Guys.
Speaker 8 (32:54):
In case you missed this, there was a very special birthday.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
In the world of sports.
Speaker 9 (33:04):
That's right, baby, there was a very special birthday in
the world of sport. Hey, guys, that mean the thirty
eighth birthday. Hey Brady, Hey, they're Brady, shut up, Yes,
I get that right now, Okay, here we go, all right, Okay,
(33:24):
it was the thirty eighth birthday for Miss Sierra. That's right,
Russell Wilson's wife, Sierra was her thirty eighth birthday, so
mister Russell Wilson went all out, throwing her the birthday
bash of a lifetime at the one and only, well,
I won't say the one and only, the one of
many waffle houses, decking out the whole place, renting it
out with red carpet, balloons and everything else. She had
(33:45):
a sandwich and a platter of birthday donuts. Good job,
mister Russell Wilson.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
Oh man, that's what's.
Speaker 6 (33:50):
Gotta be something connected to that. What do you mean
that's like like that's her favorite spot or something today?
Speaker 1 (33:55):
Oh yeah, it's gotta be.
Speaker 8 (33:58):
She does say. He knows me very well. He knows
how much I loved the waffle house.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
And if I took my wife to waffle house, she'd
have me stabbed out in the parking lot. It wouldn't
be her thing. I still haven't been to a waffle
house smothered covered in pepper. Really, that's all you need
to know.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
How have you not been to the waffle house?
Speaker 8 (34:13):
I was that was like that was the hunt. While
we were in a Columbia.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
Yeah, we got away from us a little bit then though. Yeah,
oh what smothered covered in peppered until you get your
hash he smothered, and what it's crazy. Yeah, it's like
gravy cheese.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
And alop say, smothered. That's that's great.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
Yes, that sounds great.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
It's really good. It's really good. He knows what he's
talking about.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
And the Hawks last time I went.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
And when do you eat that?
Speaker 6 (34:44):
Because that's breakfast food, Jonas, So when exactly did you
eat that to partake in knowing how good it is?
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Well, waffle house is twenty four hours, isn't it. I
believe breakfast food.
Speaker 6 (34:55):
Yeah, so you like eating breakfast food during throughout the day? Well,
I mean you would go to the waffle house throughout
the day.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
Hey, when you're mangled, you'll eat anything you'll ripe.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
When are you mangled?
Speaker 1 (35:05):
I mean, listen, back in the day, I used to
get after it a little bit.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Okay, you know I don't know that, Jonpan.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
So I'm just asking lick the lid a little bit
and then go to like a Denny's or someplace like that.
We don't have waffle house out here in southern California.
But it's really good. And then Brady and I went
to a waffle house before the Ers Cup.
Speaker 5 (35:24):
Last year, and you remember what the lady said to us.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
She's like, you guys going to prom Oh no.
Speaker 5 (35:33):
I was planning on starting my day.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
Well, I mean.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
We're kind of Brady was really dressed up. I was
kind of a little bit dressed up. We were going
to the horse track. You're like, hey, why not? And
then we walk in there five fifty.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Are we supposed to wear suits to the horse track?
Speaker 1 (35:48):
It's three in the morning.
Speaker 3 (35:50):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
I don't know if we're trying to impress the horses
or not.
Speaker 8 (35:54):
But people do dress up for the Kentucky Derby.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
Oh yeah they do.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Yeah, I know that. But what about Santa Anita? Readers come?
Speaker 1 (36:03):
Depends on the day, Okay, you know, interesting crowd there.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
And is it for a funeral or is it to
watch the races?
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Right? Oh god, wow, you know I'm I'm not going
to partake in that. I love Santa Anita.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
Okay. I was just basing that off of what you
always have. What do you mean? I okay?
Speaker 1 (36:27):
Fun place?
Speaker 3 (36:29):
All right Ley?
Speaker 1 (36:29):
What else we got guys?
Speaker 8 (36:31):
In case you missed it.
Speaker 9 (36:31):
The NHL just handed down its first ever sports betting
related punishment in league history, suspending Outowa Senators center Shane
Pinto forty one games for quote activities relating to sports wagering. Now,
it's unclear exactly what Pinto did to draw the band,
but the league did state that the investigation determined there
was no evidence that he bet on any NHL games.
Their CBA says they're prohibited from betting on NHL games,
(36:54):
but are free to throw money on any other sport man.
Speaker 5 (36:57):
Wait, so explain that again, if you didn't bet on.
Speaker 9 (37:00):
No evidence that he bet on games, but he does
have activity relating to sports wagering, and it must.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Be throw his money down on any other game.
Speaker 8 (37:09):
Correct? So yes, there that is the uh, that is
the question mark here.
Speaker 9 (37:13):
So he might have done something related to sports wagering
that was different than actually hockey, than actually laying down
money himself.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
Inside the team facility inside like what is this? Is
this just you know, more of a make a statement,
like to let everybody know if you even sniff around
these parts, you're gonna get popped.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
Hockey guys school, they all have bookies if they want
to lay bets. Let's be real, all right, that's the
most old school sport there is still in the history
of sports today. Like they they still probably call their
bookies not a land live.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
It just the whole thing that's that makes me laugh
is like all these sports teams that are getting popped
for gambling and all of the It's like you notice
how it's never like a Las Vegas Raider or a
Golden Knight. It's always somebody else. Like you think one
of those guys have ever walked by a sports book
in Vegas and like placed a bed. They're right there,
Like I find that hard to believe. This is all
(38:07):
just tracking. People can't have some fun and gamble a
little bit while they're you know, getting their knee iced
or getting ic and stem on their ankle. You know,
it's unfortunate, man of the people. I have a big
Shane Pinto guy. That's my guy right there.
Speaker 8 (38:22):
You guys like Pinto.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
Beans, I'm okay with them.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Uh yeah, I'm in.
Speaker 8 (38:27):
On Pinto beans.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Yeah, random, Sorry, not bad, Thanks Sam.
Speaker 8 (38:33):
What else got chipole get Pinto beans?
Speaker 3 (38:36):
Yeah? Cool? Yep?
Speaker 8 (38:39):
Big gulps say, all.
Speaker 5 (38:40):
Right, what.
Speaker 6 (38:43):
I found out yesterday that big gulps have a button
that equally distribute all of the flavors.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
What in to your cup?
Speaker 6 (38:51):
Really, it was such an amazing conversation that that that
came about, but it exists.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Go ahead, Wow, that's amazing.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
Since we're talking about food and stuff. Go ahead, go ahead.
Speaker 8 (39:04):
What elseady, guys?
Speaker 9 (39:05):
Matt Rule, Nebraska are pulling out all the truck stops
to land a big commitment Grant bricks Line offensive lineman.
They parked a eighteen wheeler outside of his high school,
Logan Magnolia High School that has a big Nebraska football.
It's signature posted on the side of the semi truck.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
There you go.
Speaker 5 (39:22):
That's pretty sweet.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
Actually, yeah, you gotta keep that. It'd be great all money.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
