You know.

Speaker 6 (01:53):
We had a Christmas a Christmas concert last night, which,
by the way, my daughter rocked it.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Shouts out to Pimpachu orha.

Speaker 7 (02:00):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Yeah, we took him. We took sticks with us.

Speaker 7 (02:06):
Too, Yeah we did.

Speaker 6 (02:08):
He did well. He did really well. He was chilling,
so that was good. It was good. But I'm tired,
super tired. But I'm ready to go. Hell yeah, but yeah,
tell you the mascot is dope. He was a pretty
dope dude.

Speaker 7 (02:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Well, you know he was ready to go last night.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
I'll tell you who wasn't ready. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
That's been the entire season for the New Orleans Saints.
By the way, good riddance. Can we move on from
the Saints in twenty twenty three?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Tired of it?

Speaker 7 (02:35):
Okay?

Speaker 8 (02:35):
I was thinking, though, given how big of a favorite
they were to win the division, were they not the
biggest favorite to win their division before the season?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
One of them?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Yeah, he would have been a bigger favorite in the city.
Maybe Philly.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
No, I think Philly in Dallas was pretty they were
pretty close, pretty close, I would say, maybe. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
No, They're right up there.

Speaker 8 (03:01):
We're pretty sure they had the largest odds of anyone
to win the division. Which leads me to this question,
is it that fire Is it like this bad of
a season fireable in your mind?

Speaker 7 (03:11):
For like Dennis Allen, I just.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
I feel like this team's going out nowhere.

Speaker 8 (03:17):
Well, there's a good chance they could go well finished
at this point, were much worse than that. But they
just they should have been a ten win team in
the division that they played, the schedule that they had,
with the roster that they have, the fact that that's
not even in the cards anymore. I just I don't
know where this team is going. It feels like it's

(03:38):
on a road to nowhere at this point.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah, and you could look around the entire division and
you go, okay, well, you know, Atlanta, they didn't really
have a fix at quarterback. You know, they maybe misread
Desmond Ritter, as we talked about earlier this week. You know,
the Bucks added Baker Mayfield, and it was like, well,
you know, maybe it's just a stopgap quarterback. He's been
the best quarterback in the division by far, maybe his

(04:01):
best season of his career. Carolina had a new guy,
and New Orleans had Derek Carr, still some talent on offense,
still some names on defense, and it's just been black
the entire year, like the entire and then last night
was the same thing. And I don't know about you guys,
but it felt like every like after like they cut

(04:21):
it down to ten seven did New Orleans. But it
felt like every time the Rams got the ball, they
just drove down the field like it was chunk play
after chunk play. Puka Nakua, who had a monster performance
in last night's game, Karen Williams like it just seemed
like the Rams could do whatever the hell.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
They wanted with New Orleans, and New Orleans couldn't. Yeah,
and New Orleans weren't able to do whatever it is
that they want. In fact, I thought you were going
to allude to the fact that when they were coming
off the field, did you guys notice their their facial expressions.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
And their body language when they were coming off of
the field. It was Saints.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
There was like one moment where they showed Alvin Kamara
after they they went like three and out, and he
looked like he had checked out.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
He's looking for the elevator.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
I mean, there would have been more fight there, fight there.
It just didn't look like they were ready to go,
you know. And it looked like after after every after
every set that they went out there and did every
every you know series, they just didn't look like it
was like, well, you know, I don't think we're gonna win,

(05:29):
or it doesn't doesn't look good, or that wasn't a
good good whatever the body language was, it just wasn't good.
It looked like the defense was trying, but they just
weren't able to get it done, and the offense just
couldn't seem to find any type of rhythm. Like they
looked like a bad team and it made the Rams.

(05:49):
I don't know if it made the Rams look better.
I mean the Rams have been playing pretty well. I
think we kind of talked about that, like seven and
seven going into the game, but they kind of looked
like a team that really really has been quietly flying
under the radar and improving. So I don't know you
asked the question is it fireable? I think we had

(06:12):
we talked about when the Raiders went their separate ways
from McDaniel, and I felt as though, and I think
a lot of people felt as though, when you lose
a locker room, then you're you're almost you know, certain
to lose your job. It almost looked like this was
a team that has been lost by their head coach,
So you might might assume that there could be a

(06:34):
coach in vacancy open in New Orleans.

Speaker 8 (06:37):
They have two games left at Tampa and then versus Atlanta.

Speaker 7 (06:41):
They're two and two right now in the division.

Speaker 8 (06:43):
Obviously, if they lose one more, that'll be the end
of the season in regards having a winning season, but
it also would be a point out that Dennis Allen
has never had a winning season as a head coach.

Speaker 7 (06:56):
He was four and twelve two years in a row during.

Speaker 8 (06:58):
His time in Oakland. When the Raiders were in Oakland
and then start off zero to four and twenty fourteen
and then got fired. Last year they were seven and ten.
This year they've got seven wins. They're now seven and eight.
There's a realistic chance that they don't improve at all.

Speaker 7 (07:13):
I just.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
You hate to talk about that, but if from the
outside looking in, I just, I am, I would be
incredibly frustrated if I was in that locker room to
see the roster. We have to see the division we
play in. I mean, you you there are two wins
in the division so far, because they still have two games,
whereas Tampa and Atlanta have come versus the Panthers, who

(07:38):
are the worst team in the league. Like, that's two
of their seven wins.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
I just it is.

Speaker 8 (07:46):
It has been such a frustrating year to watch this team.
And the score was not indicative of how far apart
this game was. I mean, they got a couple of
garbage time touchdowns. It really was not that close. It
was a blow up. This as bad as the Boca
Bowl did, which is a whole other conversations.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Thanks for selling me, Syracuse.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Thanks for selling By the way, I just happened to
check the score and I said, wait, what.

Speaker 8 (08:12):
There was that one moment when there was a like
a zone read option play where buying them the quarterback
threw it outside and kind of got like batted off
of the the It wasn't even it was like a
more of a lateral, but it got batted forward and
the Syracuse defender picked.

Speaker 7 (08:30):
It up Rannon back for a touchdown.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
They like let the play kind of play out.

Speaker 8 (08:33):
But that was literally the only momentum at any point
in time that Syracuse had in the game. That was
with like four minutes left in the first quarter. And
then on that ensuing drive, Syracuse went down and gets
points or on that very drive. And then the next
time or excuse me, USF did the next time Syracuse
had a chance for points on a field goal, bot

(08:54):
snap for turnback for a touchdown.

Speaker 7 (08:57):
That's your night right there. That was the end of it.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
That's really why nobody's got balls, like this show's got balls,
because nobody's willing to bet on these bowl games, especially
in you know, mid to late December like we are,
because you have no idea what you're getting, you don't
know what's going to happen, you don't know who's motivated,
you don't even know half the time, who may be playing,

(09:20):
or who's going to opt out last second, or who's
still hungover from whatever party they were at the night before.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
And then here we are just slinging it. Yes, just
just slinging it.

Speaker 8 (09:31):
Dan Valary was playing quarterback again. That's how That's how
down they are at the quarterback spot. I don't look,
I said lay the points with with Syracuse. I was,
I was figuring they just run the ball a thousand times.
That did not happen in this game.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
The positive though, the La Rams, they're hot. They got
a bunch of you know, they got a couple of
mid round draft picks like Kieron Williams. They've got Pooka Nakua.
These guys are studs. Matt Stafford, again, as we talked
about yesterday, is playing some of the best football that
he's played while being with the La Rams. It actually
might this might be the best stretch since being with

(10:08):
the Rams, even the Super Bowl year. But just seeing
the way that he's playing for and this team looks
like it could be kind of a tough out for
somebody in the first round of the playoffs should they
go ahead and get there.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
And their head.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Coach Sean McVay spoke after the game about their mindset
over the past several weeks.

Speaker 9 (10:29):
You know, we've been really in playoff mode in our
mindset in regards to since the buye based on being
where we were at after the first nine games.

Speaker 7 (10:36):
But we'll enjoy this one and then we.

Speaker 9 (10:38):
Got to figure out, you know, how to put together
a complete performance against the Giants, who guys have seen
they've done a lot of really good things over this
last month.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Yeah, okay, yeah, you'll be fine. Look all respect to
the Giants, but that should be fine. That should be
a winnable game. The Rams are probably going to the playoffs,
and then we get to see who they match up against,
because there is the potential, as we laid out earlier
this week, that we could Rams Lions, and there's a
lot of storylines there in the first round, and that's
a tough out for the Detroit Lions at home if

(11:06):
they if they get the Rams in the first round.

Speaker 6 (11:09):
Yeah, your name Jay, Sure, I wouldn't be surprised if
the Rams sent them home if that ended up being
the matchup. But clearly, with Bowl season in full swing,
I have not been the greatest of Bowl predictors, so
maybe my predictor is off right necessarily, I think I think.

Speaker 8 (11:30):
I'll ask this, like, as you go through the list
of quarterbacks or potential quarterbacks right that they're gonna be
playing the NFC, is there anyone you trust one Stafford?
I mean in the vikings right now, if you look
at the playoff picture, you're gonna have a backup.

Speaker 7 (11:45):
You've got Baker.

Speaker 8 (11:46):
Mayfield, which you know he's had a great year, you know,
maybe his best Jared Goffa, we've seen these been too.

Speaker 7 (11:51):
Super Bowl. Then you got Hurts, Dak and Brock Purty.
Stafford's won.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
I'd say party, I would go with Perty.

Speaker 6 (12:00):
Trust pretty yeah, I say I trust him more as
long as he's healthy, I'd say I go with Purty.

Speaker 8 (12:08):
I'm just pointing out the fact that there's only one
quarterback who has a ring.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
But true.

Speaker 6 (12:12):
I mean, but in terms of trust, like when you
break it down that way, I didn't even think about
it that way. I would want to say Jalen Hurts
and Dak Prescott as well, but I mean they'll sell you.

Speaker 7 (12:24):
And I mean I still trust the Cowboys in the
road though.

Speaker 6 (12:28):
I don't trust the Cowboys at all. You know, I
don't trust.

Speaker 7 (12:32):
I try to like that significant other that you know,
s Hey, I got a business trip.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
You're like, oh yeah, enjoy that. That is what they're
doing out there.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
Yeah I have fun doing that. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:44):
And the Eagles. I don't know what the eagles are
doing right now. I think they you know, they mistook
mistook themselves for a hibernating mascot animal. I don't think eagles.
Yeah not mister State, He's going to come out. I
mean the Browns are.

Speaker 7 (13:02):
Still outstairs, mister that's great.

Speaker 6 (13:04):
Yeah, now they're the Browns are out there hunting.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Was the browns mask got a bor bowl or is
it just a.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
Mass It should be a it's a bulldog English bulldog, Yeah,
which a borbo is a mastiff, So there you go.
But it's like a big it's a big ass mastiff.

Speaker 8 (13:21):
Like mister Styx would have literally absolutely choked out, taken
out boss hog.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Oh oh wow.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
First of all, that that is you have, you know,
cold styles make fights, that is true.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
And your mastiff would have had no shot.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
He's two hundred and twenty two pounds and you're.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
Gonna sit here, get bigger and bigger.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
You're going to sit here.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
That is a big ass.

Speaker 7 (13:47):
If it was, it was never that big. It was
like one hundred and fifty pounds.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
It wasn't. I'm telling you. It was easily to thirty five.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
Depending on English bulldog. Huh.

Speaker 6 (13:58):
Yeah, I know English English mastiff bull and bull mastiffs
don't get that big. Yeah bull English mastiff.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
Like he had a bull mastiff. He just he wants
to say.

Speaker 6 (14:09):
Bull mastiff that they barely get to like a hundred,
they'd be like one hundred and five hundred and ten.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Look, he was forty five, so I mean we could
say the English.

Speaker 7 (14:19):
This is the type of dude. It's never been fishing,
but he caught a bigger.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Right and I'll send you a pick on one right now.

Speaker 7 (14:24):
Yeh.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
By the way, I was going to mention this to
you guys earlier. Obviously it is the holidays, you know,
we this is the last show before Christmas. So a
little bit of a gift from myself to you. Okay,
it's a football Friday, Yeah, all right.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Yeah Briday. Yeah, the old school version.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
All right, if you put markup on game on on
the the fresher Brady Quick alternative to the Football Friday.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Songs I just let him feel what was good?

Speaker 5 (15:05):
Okay, all right, thanks Lee?

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Thanks football Friaday, Yeah, let's go. It's Friday.

Speaker 10 (15:13):
Come on, Brady and he just wont down.

Speaker 11 (15:25):
The studio is a it is a football Friday.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
I believe what have we got? Eleven games?

Speaker 7 (15:59):
Lee?

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Is that what I'm seeing? Eleven Bowl games? We gotta know.

Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

Speaker 6 (17:07):
Post Christmas music days can't come fast enough.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Oh you're over it already.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
The first day.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
And I love Christmas music within reason.

Speaker 4 (17:18):
I think it's the worst, man.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
Some of the stuff stand plays is a bit of
a stretch, like some ska band from like South Africa
with a Christmas song. It's not good. Just play the classics.
You stick to the classics. You're good like me. Some
Christmas music it's fun, fun time of year. I don't know,
a couple of cocktails still don't know what a yule

(17:41):
log is, but maybe that too. You know those little
missiletoe hanging from the ceiling Christmas lights.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
I did a missiletoe this year, did you Yeah? Nice?
Worked out one time, just once.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Only once. It is two pros and a cup of Joe.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
Here on Fox Sports Radio, Leavar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox with you so coming up in about twenty minutes
from now from the Ti rack dot Com studios.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
It does feel like.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
There's a team with a legitimate unfair advantage. A legitimate
unfair advantage. Will tell you who that is again, coming
up twenty minutes from now on FSR SO. This is
a report from NFL Media who says that Trevor Lawrence,
the quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, is set to most

(18:27):
likely miss the start this coming weekend against the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers. We mentioned the New Orleans Saints and how
they were looking at that division. We talked about Tampa Bay.
They're currently leading the NFC South and they are going
to get a little bit of a break here. The
Trevor Lawrence lists Jacksonville Jaguars coming up this weekend, which
would be the first time that Trevor Lawrence has missed

(18:51):
a start in his football career. So dating back to
high school, he has not missed a game due to injury,
so this will be the first one. So even Trevor Lawrence,
it's mister durable in a year filled with backup quarterbacks,
even he can't stay healthy as they are fighting for
a playoff spot down the stretch or to maintain their
division lead there in the AFC South. So it looks

(19:11):
like CJ. Bethard, speaking of Iowa, is going to be
the quarterback there for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Speaker 8 (19:16):
Is this the worst time to possibly miss a game
if you're Trevor Lawrence in his career so far?

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Not ideal?

Speaker 1 (19:22):
No, Yeah, because it doesn't feel like there's any letup
from Indianapolis. Jonathan Taylor might be back this upcoming weekend
for the Colts, and it just feels like Jacksonville has
been a little bit up and down. I mean, can
you recall another time in the NFL where there's been
this many backup quarterbacks playing prominent games for teams.

Speaker 8 (19:45):
Last year, At one point this season, they showed a
stat of games started by how many different quarterbacks.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
And I think goes on the same pace.

Speaker 8 (19:53):
So it feels like it's more but I feel like
we just tend to have a short term memory sometimes
with the stuff. It does feel like though the injuries
have that have been sustained have been longer in nature,
meaning like, guy, the backups have been playing, Like Joe
Burrow's been out, Jake Brown he's been in. You know
our gardner Minshew, he's been in for the majority of

(20:14):
the season for the Colts. So you start kind of
going through it, and yes, you've had a number of
different starting quarterbacks, but I think the number of starts
by those backup quarterbacks has.

Speaker 7 (20:23):
Been the big significant part.

Speaker 8 (20:25):
So maybe to that point you're making it, it has
been an outlier, but man, it's it's starting to bring
back around the thought that you better have an insurance policy, man,
Like this is one of those deals where.

Speaker 7 (20:37):
A backup quarterback is an insurance.

Speaker 8 (20:38):
Policy for any team to help you get through that
game if your starter goes down or maybe for the
rest of the season. I'll be really curious to see
how teams handle the backup quarterback position going into the
future after this year. If it was eye opening or
if it's just Hey, it's an outlier year. We're gonna
keep doing the way. You know, how have we been
doing in the past.

Speaker 7 (20:58):
Is C. J.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
Stroud still be out? I know he's still in the protocol,
right Yeah. I mean you're talking about top teams that
that have backups in in their their division.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Will Levis has banged up that entire division is seeing
backup quarterbacks.

Speaker 6 (21:16):
But you have three teams that have the same record,
and three teams that ultimately i'd assume have still have
the ability or opportunity to win the division. Oh yeah,
so yeah, I mean this is definitely a tremendously big,
big game for the Jaguars.

Speaker 8 (21:36):
You had to make a bet, right now, who are
you betting on out of the AFC South that wins it?

Speaker 7 (21:42):
Given that they're all eating six? Are you? Are you
going to the mustache ride with Minshew?

Speaker 6 (21:46):
I am man, I am love me one of those,
right I am. I'm riding the mustache?

Speaker 3 (21:52):
You doing it again?

Speaker 7 (21:53):
At a magic? What a magic that mustache?

Speaker 3 (21:55):
You're going to do that again?

Speaker 4 (21:56):
Huh yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Yeah, Hey, let me go ahead, And.

Speaker 7 (22:02):
Who are you picking?

Speaker 1 (22:04):
I'll still go Jacksonville just because I trust that they'll
be able to figure it out down the stretch. But
I do like the idea of a little mustache in
the postseason, That's what I like. I do like the
idea of Gardner Minshew and the Indianapolis Colts getting into

(22:27):
the postseason and what has been a pretty wild season
and Shane Steichen, who you know, probably doesn't get enough
credit for what he's done there. But if you just
go back to where Indianapolis was before the year, rookie
quarterback Jonathan Taylor didn't want any part of the team.
Jim Mersey is talking about dying on the back of
a golf cart. And next thing you know, here we
are and they're down the stretch. They're holding onto a

(22:48):
playoff spot. Is Indianapolis, and you know you look around.
Also the AFC Cincinnati's got a backup quarterback.

Speaker 8 (22:56):
Yeah past this yet, Okay, odds to win the AFC
South Division.

Speaker 7 (23:00):
Let me see, who do you guys say is the.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
Leader Colts Jacksonville.

Speaker 8 (23:05):
It's Jacksonville scored the DraftKings by the way at minus one,
which isn't you know it's it's a favorite, but heavy.
And then the Colts are at plus two forty and
the Texans at plus three thirty, so probably.

Speaker 6 (23:19):
Was in this weekend. I mean CJ. If he was
in this weekend, I would say it looks good for them.
I mean, they they had the Browns, they had the Titans,
and they had the Colts to finish it out. I'd
say they had their own destiny in their hands. And
if CJ. Stroud is out there as a quarterback, if
they can get through the Browns without CJ. Stroud and

(23:42):
they can get him back for the last two games,
I would say that you leaned towards Houston. But that's
that's a tremendously large if. I mean, they were able
to get out of last week's game, you know, and
and that you know, I don't know how much that
plays a part when you have to repeat a team
in such a short short amount of time. You know,

(24:06):
they just played the Titans. They'll play one more game.
They played the bronze and they play the Titans again.
Sometimes those are the hardest games to win, yeah, you know,
And so I don't know how much that will play apart, but.

Speaker 8 (24:17):
The Colts have somewhat of an easier path. Maybe they
go to Atlanta, Las Vegas, thank Houston to.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
Finish so I don't know, can tell you look at
that schedule.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
But next week kind of interesting that the NFL would
schedule a buy for the Jaguars, they're going to play
the Panthers.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
That they flexed that back so that they can get
Trevor Lawrence back.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Yeah, they just said Trevor once said of the next
couple of weeks, we need you.

Speaker 6 (24:42):
Well we set out this this sit this team out
for an entire week, right, So I mean I think
that should exist. Flex by weeks why not?

Speaker 1 (24:50):
But isn't this why Buffalo is so dangerous to get
into the playoffs, because like you like, outside of.

Speaker 6 (24:57):
Them, they played the way they played against Dallas. That's mean, yes,
they're dangerous.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Like just like we made the point of if you
look at the rams they get in as a wild
card team, who do you trust in that spotant Like,
Buffalo's played big playoff games year in and year out,
and although they've come up on the short end of
a lot of those big moments, Like I wouldn't want
to see Josh Allen as opposed to a Gardner Minshew
or somebody else like that getting in the postseason. Like

(25:23):
it just it feels like Buffalo is in a spot
to where they could strike and do some damage early
on as well too. So the AFC South been interesting.
I mean it's better than the NFC South, I'll give
it that. Like, at least it's not the NFC South
where Brady made the point that outside of Todd Bowles,
everybody could lose their job this offseason.

Speaker 8 (25:42):
There was even a thought that Todd Bowles could at
one point or at least a report that that was
potentially out there, especially if like a Bill Belichick would
be interested. Like that's becoming more of a narrative I
think as we get closer to the end of the season,
is if you're a team that's unsure about your head coach,
but you could get Bill Belichick, it might be a
motivating factor for you know, to have you move on.

(26:04):
If somehow that's worked out where Bill Belichick gets traded
to that team, right.

Speaker 7 (26:09):
Kind of interesting.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Yeah, he's been tied to several gigs, Like there was
that report that you know, maybe the Bears would be
interested in Belichick.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
I'll stop, Well, I'm just saying here's why that.

Speaker 8 (26:21):
Bears fans like put out everything Like I just I
feel like you representing the Bears, which yes, are you
calling yes? Because you are a Bears you grew up
a Bears fan. You've got family in Monmouth, Illinois, holder
and all the craft you say that comes with it.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
By the way, I believe the three one nine is
the area code there in Monmouth, close to Knox County,
next to Galesburg.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
I mean it's perfect.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
You know, we're just talking shop here.

Speaker 7 (26:47):
We're talking yeah, just talking shop about your Bears.

Speaker 8 (26:50):
So start representing the Bears and stop acting like you
haven't been a fan your entire life.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
I told you, if they start doing some things, then
they can reel me back in. But I'm not going
to claim the Bears as my team until they start
to show me something.

Speaker 6 (27:04):
You're not a fan then Hey. So I'm sitting here
and I'm thinking to myself as as it applies to
what were we talking about. We're talking about the Bears,
what was right before them? Because I totally just lost
my thoughts.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
You that story on the Alabama player that Brady sent
over yesterday.

Speaker 6 (27:30):
Sometimes you need to have a dump button on your life,
man like on decisions like bad decision, Dump dump that,
like oh did I.

Speaker 4 (27:39):
Really do that?

Speaker 3 (27:42):
Christmas?

Speaker 6 (27:42):
Well, that's ask. So if Bill Belichick gets traded I mean,
isn't that kind of I feel like that's lightweight making
a mockery of a coach, like lightweight, Like, God, we
traded them like for Bill Belichick, I don't. I don't

(28:04):
find that to be proper.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Yeah, but didn't that Like Sean Payton there was compensation involved,
John Gruden, there was compensation involved back in the day. Like,
I just wonder what sort of compensation at this point
are you looking to get for Bill Belichick? Like it
almost feels like Robert Kraft would just would love to

(28:26):
just move on no matter what, but he doesn't want
to be disrespectful about it.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
M That's what it feels like.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
I think if it sounds if it's his trade, Bill
Belichick is traded away, I don't. I just don't feel
like that that has the right right tone to it.
Traded away Bill Belichick from the Patriots, traded away. I mean,
that's you'd ultimately say that's the ultimate Patriot way. Oh

(28:59):
maybe you might not. Maybe you say you kept him
a few too many seasons, you know, as you know longer,
because they do say that the Patriot ways to get
rid of them a few seasons earlier than before the
the two with two paces all all used up. But
I just think that that would be wild man announcing
that that Bill Belichick has been traded, Like, how are

(29:22):
you viewing the Patriots after a move like that?

Speaker 1 (29:25):
If we're being honest, I mean, you're partly to blame
for that, LeVar, because Brady and I have been trying,
we've been trying to talk about Belichick in this hot seat,
and you've been proclaiming for months that the seats getting
warmer and the seats getting.

Speaker 4 (29:37):
Well for over a year. Actually the first off, damn.

Speaker 8 (29:42):
I mean, Jonas always misplays like how this, how this
really went?

Speaker 7 (29:45):
I mean.

Speaker 8 (29:47):
All I've ever said on the subject is I just
don't think it's gonna be fired. Like you're not gonna
see Bill Belichick fired you Like I'm not saying that
they don't agree to go their separate ways the trading things. Interestingly,
because if you're Rob Craft and you can get something
back for Bill Belichick and you work it out where
he's going to be going to a place he wants

(30:07):
to go continue to coach, maybe makes some sense. But
I mean I don't know how this works because it's
so seldom you see a coach have an in a
minute situation like this.

Speaker 7 (30:18):
Does that mean his contract goes with him?

Speaker 8 (30:20):
Like, whoever is going to be paying for or trading
for Bill Belichick has to pay him that same contract.
It's a pretty hefty contract from what at least most
people say around the NFL, because he's got that general
manager title and head coaching title. And that's the other
thing is like, is that team trading for him to
sign on for that?

Speaker 9 (30:38):
Right?

Speaker 1 (30:40):
I can't imagine they would, like, based on some of
the decisions in the draft, I can't imagine that that
would be part of it.

Speaker 6 (30:48):
Well, think about how many coaches have been hired from
his coaching tree. If they're willing to hire his coaches
from his coaching tree, then why wouldn't they want to
hire him to come in and build the program like it.
I don't think that that's not you know, permissible to
see that happen. So, I mean, sure, there's probably a

(31:10):
team out there that believes enough in what Bill Belichick
brings to the table and how how he you know,
is associated with building what took place in New England.
But I think, I mean, I think for what it's
worth I think people have to kind of embrace the
fact that what took place with that, that streak, that

(31:31):
era of time with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, it's
something that really, if you're able to witness it, it's
it's like a once in a lifetime thing we may
never see. We may never see a dominant run from
a quarterback and a coach and a team like that
in our lifetime, and that's kind of hard to ever

(31:54):
live up to that once you're not playing at your
team isn't achieving at that level.

Speaker 7 (32:00):
Yeah, equally that's important.

Speaker 8 (32:02):
The Pistons dropped their twenty fifth game, Yeah, a roal
last night. Never see a streak like that, A kid.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
You know what, if you're gonna do it, if you're
gonna do it, do it better than everybody else.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
All Right.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
That's that's the philosopher philosophy.

Speaker 1 (32:15):

team has a legitimate unfair advantage in sports.

Good morning everybody, Good morning Jonas, morning LeVar, Morning.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Brady, guys.

Speaker 14 (33:59):
In case you missed it, The Dodgers continue to make blobs.
Hey LeVar, how you doing, buddy? Dodgers continue to make
big moves in the off sea. Hey Brady signing free
agent sensations. Yes you Nobo Yamamoto to a Twilve or
three hundred and twenty five million dollars deal, Hey Brady,
Twenty five year old Ace puts the Dodgers a lot

(34:20):
a billion dollars inked in this off season.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
By the way, good morning everybody. Lee's ability to just
like walk through all of that.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (34:33):
And the thing about Lee is Lee's such a nice guy.
He's supposed to be like, hey man, what's up.

Speaker 15 (34:40):
Dude, dude hand yeah, and so, like he said, you know,
you always want to be rude, So of course he
wants to say, like, hey man, what's up.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
What's happening?

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Does it bother you?

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Guys at the Dodgers have done it again, Like we're
talking over a Bill again.

Speaker 7 (34:57):
Secured one hundred and twenty wins in a first round.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
The oh geez, I mean like that kind of summed
it up. A billion dollars between two players this offseason.

Speaker 7 (35:11):
Yeah, but one's deferred, so yeah, to.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Your point though, if they don't want it, like there's
no more excuses. This is when I miss Burdo because
I just want to I want to hear the mood
that he's in, because if he was already willing to
swear off social media because they didn't fire Dave Robb, of.

Speaker 7 (35:30):
Course, now he's back now South Oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
Oh no, oh yeah, he.

Speaker 7 (35:38):
Was responding to last night that I saw it. I
was like, what the hell is going on?

Speaker 3 (35:44):
Yeah, he's back.

Speaker 14 (35:49):
What else we got lee, guys, In case you missed it,
we talked about it earlier, kind of. Bama offensive tackle
Elijah Pritchett was charged with a Class C misdemeanor and
its facing fines and up to three months in jail
for for knowingly spreading an STD.

Speaker 4 (36:03):
You said, you said, no, I cannot say that a
classy miss. Oh classy? Oh I thought I heard. I'm sorry,
my bet.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
Look, I told you guys, I.

Speaker 7 (36:17):
Don't even know how to address this.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
How do you figure that out that he's knowingly doing that.

Speaker 8 (36:23):
It had to have been through like a text message conversation,
right O. That's the old They had to have proof
that he said something or new or something.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
I mean, look, you guys know what what I wrote
to you last night about this whole thing.

Speaker 5 (36:36):
I mean, I don't.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
I just said, listen, I me personally, I would never
knowingly do that to you guys.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
Oh yeah, I just say that.

Speaker 5 (36:43):
I just wanted to be clear. All right, glad we
got that out there.

Speaker 7 (36:47):
Hey, I can I ask you this? Does it matter
depending on what it is?

Speaker 6 (36:52):
I think it matters because we were talking during the break.
I was saying, listen, a couple of these things, you
get up some pills, or you get a you know,
shot in the booty cheek, whatever, and you move on
from it. I mean, that's might be the old school
way of understanding it.

Speaker 7 (37:07):
That's the That was what I recall for the NFL.

Speaker 8 (37:09):
The guys been coming to midweek with some different ailments.

Speaker 6 (37:15):
Yeah, neat that shot a penicillin. But then there's the
other ones that that is just the gift that keeps
on giving. Then there's the magic Johnson. I mean there's
you know, there's levels to it.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
It is a pretty fed up thing to do if
you're knowingly if you know that's what's you know? So
the and why you would brag if it was through
proof through a text like why.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
You would have to be? How else would you not?
And yeah, it's weird. How else would you not know?

Speaker 1 (37:48):
It's just it's weird how somebody could think that was appropriate.
It's just I don't get it. It's a different way
of saying roll tide, right, Yeah, that's for sure.

Speaker 7 (37:56):
What else?

Speaker 3 (37:58):
The games?

Speaker 4 (38:00):
You guys? Big love for the Big Man? Thirty D mcgert, Hey.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
Za, do you guys hear that tugle War outed to.

Speaker 6 (38:06):
The Pro Bowl game? That's why I was still saying nicknames.
You know, it was more interesting than the tugle War
