Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's two pros and a cup of Joe. Here Fox
Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks, and coming
up on a Football Friday, Brady Quinn is outrage he
couldn't even watch the game on Thursday because of an
issue he had at the airport in Dallas. Will have
all the details. They're speaking of Dallas, the Cowboys and Chiefs.
It's the game of the weekend in the NFL. We're
gonna take a closer look at that. A possible Super
(00:21):
Bowl preview we will discuss. We're also going to talk
about LaVar Arrington's debut in the booth this weekend between
the Browns and the Lions. That'll be featured in the
propt Monster, The Great Joel Clad stops by, and another
edition of Shot Callers. All of that coming up next. Here,
it is a Football Friday, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks,
(00:42):
and you two pros and a cup of joe right
here on FS are you're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
You know, right when you think he had gotten rid
of him, you can move on the nightmares. Over all
of a sudden, this happens. We will get into all
of that here coming up in just a couple of
(01:03):
moments from now. It's two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas knocks
with you here on fs ARE. You can hang out
with us as always on the I Heart Radio app,
and you can find us on hundreds of Fox Sports
Radio affiliates and wherever the hell you are making us
a part of your football Friday. We appreciate you doing so.
We're taking you all the way out until nine am
(01:24):
Eastern times, six o'clock Pacific right here on fs ARE.
And you talk about boots on the ground. We got
Sticks calling his first ever NFL game in Cleveland, Ohio
between the Lions and Browns. We've got Brady Quinn and
Norman getting ready for a big neon kickoff. And Iowa
State and Oklahoma. How are we feeling on a Friday? Boys? Well?
(01:46):
My first question that, LaVar, what's the weather like? Um?
I don't see any snow flakes. That's winning. That's all
I'm gonna say. What's your looking like? I mean Oklahoma?
I mean, and you know what's that looking like? Yeah? See,
I actually traveled out to Oklahoma not realizing that it's
a lot colder than I thought it was gonna it's
(02:09):
in the thirties, especially earlier in the day that it
starts to warm up. But uh, kind of an unpleasant surprise,
if you will, once I got here. Okay, yeah, but
weren't you there? Just not that long ago? Has a
temperature drop that much? Are you serious? For stuff? That
was like week two or week three, week three for
college football? If you go back and watch, it looked
(02:30):
like someone turned on a faucet on Liner's forehead. That's
how hot it was. At one point I was looking
at him, but I couldn't stop laughing because he had
a constant stream of sweat coming off his forehead. It
will be the exact opposite of that for this week's show. Okay,
now take me behind the seeds on that. So what's
the pit crew like? Are they bringing out like towels
(02:52):
in between commercials or they wait till the cameras not
on him and they rush. That's a problem. Are you
just got to deal with it? It's a real problem,
like everyone trying to deal with it. Reggie's a big pitter.
He his armpits getting really sweaty. So he was trying
not to wear his jacket because he didn't want to
pit out his jacket. He sure was already so bad.
It was more of that, so that was a concern
(03:12):
for him. Lighter. They constantly have to mop up his
face for some real I mean, coach Stoops is a
little hot for some reason. He was used to it.
He lives there, Norman, so uh, it's not as big
of a deal. And then Rob Stone and I were
the only ones who kind of figured out if you
stood in a certain spot on our set, they're actually
blowing cold air. So we were able to kind of
(03:35):
keep cool. But no one else on our set figured
that out. That's a really elaborage set up. There's one
spot that's got some sort of an ache air conditioner
swamp cooler type, and you guys found it good for
you see, that's that's that's a betteran move right there. Well. Yeah,
and and grading the coal gate grad and that's how
that worked out. I can't speak for the rest. I mean,
as I don't think we need to take shots I
(03:57):
like that at U s C or or some of
the jin listeners here on the blowtor Ch AM five seven,
but at least they do it to each other in
each other's faces, though at least this isn't like come
behind the back type stuff. You know, they go at
each other all on set, which is pretty cool. I mean,
I love the fact that you know that was a
golden age for Notre Dame in USC, you know, the
Brady time, the Liners and then I don't know, we
(04:19):
were tolden age. They were, they were one of the best.
They played college falls. Let's say this, there might have
been more golden golden of golden ages at Notre Dame
than your time, but you certainly did what you did
while you were there, sir. So you know, if there
was no Notre Dame or if there was no USC
at that time, would you want a national title? Um,
(04:40):
I don't know. That's a tough question answer because I
mean we played like I always thought. Oh I was
State who beat us in the festival, who actually lost
to you know, yeah they lost the Texas earlier that
season where Texas went on to beat USC. We played
Ohio State, we played USC. Ohio State was a much
better team. Ohio State would have been a bigger challenge
(05:02):
for Texas again, only because that year Troy Smith, who
end up winning the Heisman. The following year, he he
had just gotten the starting job. There was a battle
between him and a guy named justine's Wick and it
was like the second game of the season. I think
they played Texas and and they struggled offensively by the
end of the year, completely different animal. And that's where
(05:25):
I was like, we played both these teams. Man, Ohio
State was a much more rounded team. That rematch would
have been better, and I think how it stayed out
of beat Texas at that point in time of the year.
So I don't know that there was and we played
ls to the next year in the Sugar Bowl. I
always thought, um, they gave Florida, who won the national
championship that year, they gave you know, they're a really
(05:46):
good game earlier that year, and so you you kind
of play different teams ago. Either they're a bad matchup
for us, or they just would have been a bad
match for anyone. It's always hard to tell. Um night
was a match up. Let me, hey, right when you
thought they were gone, you thought you buried the Patriots,
you thought you covered them up with dirt, closed the coffin.
(06:08):
It's a wrap. They roll this out and LaVar is
a defensive guy. You gotta love what you saw last
night when you pick off three different quarterbacks, When Josh
Rosen comes in throws a pick, When when Felipe A.
Franks comes in throws a pick, and you roll out
what they did on defense last night, I think people
forget their defense was pretty damn good a year ago. Uh.
(06:30):
Now they add Matthew Judon and some of those other
studs that have come back, and they look damn good
on that side. Is a goblin out there on that field, man,
what's a goon to a goblin? And nothing you ain't
saying up? Let me tell you something, man. I was
watching the game, and I'm like, all right, you know,
let me watch this with even more critical I after
(06:52):
our our exchange yesterday about the game and about the
Falcons and about New England and about the quarterbacks, Mac
Jones is, I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna do this, Okay,
I'm Joe mac Jones is ahead of Tom Brady right
(07:13):
now today. Wow, he's ahead of Tom Brad. Is the
hottest of hot takes on a Friday morning, all right. Now,
that's not saying he ends up being Tom Brady because
that's probably a long shot to ever happen for any
quarterback that plays the game. But in terms of where
Tom Brady was at this point in his career, he
(07:34):
wasn't even on the field. He was not even on
the field. So so for anybody who might fell out
of their seat or spilt their coffee or split their
coffee out of their their mouth, tom Brady had the
luxury of watching one of the greats in the game
play while he sat and watched and drew bledsoe no
such luck for mac Jones. Mac Jones not only has
(07:56):
come into a situation that is perceivably of volatile situation um,
but seemingly it didn't seem like it was going to
to change anytime soon, and all he has done has
continued to improve. He looked like a veteran quarterback out
there on the field. Let's start there, Jude On and
(08:18):
that defense they don't have, you know, they don't have
some of their their players, some of their best players.
I mean you you you lose? Uh what's the cornerbacks name?
Why am I blanking on the cornerbacks name? Gilmore? You
you lose? You know a couple of guys Chong and
all those guys you you lose guys after that COVID
(08:40):
year that did not they just did not return to
the team. So to say this was a good defensive team,
you know, not too long ago, is to say some
of the main cogs of why I was a really
really strong and and and good defense are gone. But
what we can't forget is is that Bill Belichick's DNA
(09:00):
is defense. He's a defensive guru. He's a defensive specialist.
They just happened to to have great offensive minds that
have been able to turn them into a really consistent, sophisticated, operating,
high compency, competency level UH offense. But he's a defensive
(09:21):
minded guy. So what you're seeing, you saw them totally
game playing. Cow pits. Bracket coveraged them, they changed up
different looks, they pressured, they stopped the run, They made
them one dimensional, and they did something that well, I
don't want to say I was right, but I'm just
saying they made Matt Ryan have to win the game
(09:42):
with his arm. And well we saw what happened. They
weren't able to run the ball, they had to throw it.
They weren't able to throw it as well, and then
you put in two other quarterbacks just to see in
garbage time and they throw the ball away. So this
is now looking like an opportunistic New England Patriot its
defense and it's now looking like a contender in the
(10:05):
New England Patriots. Yeah, I don't know that I'm there
yet to say that about just not they have. They've
only been one team with the winning record. They'd be
one team. And I get it's the NFL. You play
who you play. Mac Jones looks efficient, he looks good.
That offensive line for the Falcons is awful. Let's be real,
(10:26):
they were awful and Lavore didn't you have the over
and Matt Ryan touchdown passes last night? The hell you're
talking about? We talking about the next season, Bratt Rod
would sign a deal. You're over here acting like you're
saying they were gonna I'm the one who picks sacks pal,
I'm the one who had that for the Patriots. Well,
there's nothing wrong with that, because did the Belichick bet
(10:50):
Oh I know, yeah, we talked about that. We were
like Brady got the color right, you know, I mean,
it wasn't a color. He was right and it wasn't.
I should have known that one side, I saying, oh yeah,
why did I think that was gonna wear a hoodie?
I mean, it can't even get cold in those things
half the time. So because we just know him to
(11:11):
always wear that rusty as great hoodie, it was about
that was an easy bet. You could like wipe your
nose on those and no one You're fine. Yeah, Like
it's just it's like, those are the types of hoodies
you can wipe your nose on all that no one's
gonna notice. I'm gonna I'm gonna go off on a
tangent about the game last night. I want to know why,
(11:31):
because a portion of my trip I was in transit
and I'm I was flying through the great state of Texas.
Do you want to tease this? No, I don't know.
I want to go into it right now because it's
not that long and if you just let me say
my piece, I'll just ask this. It's Texas not known
for football. Barque. Explain to me how the hell at
(11:57):
one of the world's largest airports at d f W,
you could be at a bar and you can't get
them to put on the Thursday night football game. In fact,
they don't even have on the college football game, which,
if I'm not mistaken, Louisville broke out a can on
(12:18):
Douke last night everywhere and I can't watch any of
it in this state that is supposed me about Friday
Night Lights, all these shows, Johnny Mocks and Varsity Blues,
whatever you want to talk about, I'll tell you this much.
Df W, you're you should be ashamed of yourself, ashamed
(12:40):
and all the people who work there and all the
people who are traveling through there. You're in the state
of Texas and I can't get on the damn Thursday
night football game while try to sit there and have
a nice meal before I have the board to play.
Are you kidding me? I mean, why do you take
out the other people that work there so their fault
they can't get the TVs on the right? Who whose
(13:03):
fault is that? Whose fault is Blame the bartender, all right?
Tell him to get off and it's irrelevant. Like if
you're in DFW, you just turn them on every single day.
So whatever football is being played or maybe a highlight
back in the nineties of the Dallas let me ask
(13:23):
you guys this, what do you think is the more
popular team? You know? That's a great point. At La bar,
That's a good point. So this is uh. It is
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on Fox
Sports Radio. By the way, if you're a valued customer,
you deserve a simple gesture of appreciation from your credit
card company. And that's why I Discover matches all the
cash back you've earned at the end of your first year.
Discover exceptionally common sense, learn more, Discover dot Com slash
(13:45):
match limitations apply. All right, So coming up next, this
is one of the most important questions ever asked on
this show, and it is going to divide two fan
bases in the same state. That's next. Be sure to
catch live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington, and Jonas Knocks week
(14:07):
days at six am Eastern three am Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio. It's two Pros
and a Cup of Joe Here Fox Sports Radio. LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knocks. Are you here on FS? Are
We have got you covered? I mean wall to wall,
boots on the ground and multiple locations. We've got tell
LaVar Arrington getting ready to call Brown's Lions this weekend
(14:29):
with the great Gus Johnson. We got Brady Quinn in Norman, Oklahoma,
getting ready for Oklahoma Iowa State. Uh and we're gonna
also get into a hot topic of discussion via text
chain yesterday because if you've been driving around lately, you've noticed, uh,
you know, people cutting in line, basically basically cutting in line,
(14:49):
total disrespect. So we will get into that coming up
towards the end of the hour here on Fox Sports Radio.
Just we just want to point that out, all right.
Uh so this is a very important topic here. Brady
Quinn was bloviating about the issues he had at Dallas
Fort Worth Airport DFW is what I like to call it.
And you you're talking about how you couldn't get the
(15:15):
don't know what I call it, uh, but that you
couldn't get the football game on in a football state.
And so yeah, that is that is very strange. By
the way, was it one of those old school uh
boob tube TVs or was it a flat screen at
least like they don't they don't even have boo TVs anymore. Well,
(15:35):
you've clearly never been Just you just wanted to say
whether there are more or not Jonas what you're about
to debate. He's right, you did just want to say
boot was the last time you've seen the back of
a TV. So that wasn't as I was going to
tell you. You've clearly never been to the Update Anchor
studio here at Fox Sports Radio, where up until about
(15:56):
six months ago they had one of those VCR TV combas.
And I'm not making that up. That's a that's a
true story up until about sixth Isn't that correct? Eddie
Garcia still needs to be DVD VCR TVs available with
plus with with the ability to record uh that DVD
(16:18):
or VHS to that talk remotely, you just stream it.
You can DVR right there from your You don't need
all the extra gadgets. Let me tell you why, because
some people with some people would actually like to transfer
over real content that is on VHS or on DVD,
because DVD disc that's all I'm saying. Well interesting, I
(16:40):
mean listen, if you wanted to do it via VHS,
you could do it in the Update Anchor studio with
Eddie Garcia right next to you. Because it's uh, that
thing was in there for at least fifteen to twenty years, Eddie.
For as long as you've been here in Fox Sports Radio,
which is twenty plus years now. How long was that
TV R v C via tv VCR combo in the
update anchors? Well, when I first started, it was you know,
(17:03):
only old technology then at the time. But yeah, it
was around for a while, you know, the only old
technology when you started twenty some years ago, and twenty
years later it became a fossil. I always wanted to
bring in an old VHS tape just to see if
it would work, but I never did. Now I've the
(17:25):
chances gone, dude. That's how I used to watch film,
Like my sophomore year was one think that was to
rewind and and play like it's so much faster now.
People don't understand, man, But you know what, though I
(17:45):
liked it, there's something about the nostalgia of using that
VC or that beta, using that be kind rewind o, man,
I remember that. Okay, here that joy go. Remember that
that was considered like the a whole move. If you
didn't rewind your likes, your credit score that's terrible, Like
(18:10):
your credit score with Joe Dad is Blockbusters charging because
you're an ass hat. Yeah, and Blockbuster was like the
biggest phenomenon for a wow man, like I can go
get the movie I want to see. They had the
soft adult section as well. They introduced that wasn't it
(18:33):
wasn't it was soft. It was it wasn't not it
wasn't hardcore Blockbuster. We need to talk about the far
you're saying there's levels to it. There's like a progression
to the adult they're soft of this. Yeah, I didn't
know that. It's like tooth It's like a toothbrush. It's
like a toothbrush, soft bristles, firmer bristles. Yeah, you want
(18:56):
the firm section. You got to go to the local
video store. You can go into block soft, real soft.
You walk in, try not to slip. You know. I'm
glad we're on the same slip. You're not gonna slip
on anything stuck like a status. All right, So here's
here's the question I have for you. What do you
(19:17):
think is a more popular team in Texas the Cowboys
or Texas Football? What like the University of Texas. No, yeah,
University of Texas in the entire state Cowboys or it's
the Cowboys. Alright, So even NFL game on last night,
you still couldn't get it on in d F, which
is crazy. I'm telling you, I almost and like the
(19:38):
guy waiting on me was like a young gentleman, and
I asked him three times and then at one point,
I'm just like he doesn't understand, like this is a priority,
Like I would rather sit here and drink water, you
do nothing and watch the game, like not eat anything,
that drink anything, and just watch the game instead of
you waiting on me and me paying you a tip.
(19:59):
Like I'll rather just sit here and watch the game.
I don't need food, I don't need anything. I need
football right now. I was beside myself that he didn't
understand like that. We like we locked eyes the third
time and I'm like, bro, I need the game on
all right, Like I need this game on. Okay, let
(20:19):
me let me go check for your sir. I was like, okay, great,
nothing happened. And I was just like, all right, check,
I'm out. I'm out. What's the check grab the remote? Yeah, hey, Eddie.
The last thing I need is they all of a
sudden have someone trying to like file and press charges
against because I reach across the border to try to
grab the remote. They're like, this guy's out of control.
(20:42):
He's trying to grab our remotes or clickers, trying to
change exactly. Yeah, he doesn't have any pants on. Now
be robed. Unbelievable, all right, at it. I'm just offended
that I don't look like that, and you need to
arrest him now, Yeah, exactly. Uh, it is two pros
(21:02):
and a cup of Joe. Here Fox Sports Radio, Savar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas stocks you here on fs ARE. Fifteen
minutes from now, we are going to have another edition
of Shot Callers. We've got to, you know, make our
predictions for the weekend. There's somebody on this show who
was red hot at Shot Callers, and then there's Brady
and LaVar. So we will get into that here in
about fifteen minutes from fs ARE. I'm just telling you, man,
(21:22):
listen to jump on the y. No idea, when to
find it, where to hear it. What the hell you're
baby weekend overnight. So you guys are being TV stars.
I'm working the graveyards and the coal mines of sports
talk radio. Damn right, all right, um, remember Antonio Brown,
(21:46):
Remember remember some of the Yeah, remember well he's in Uh,
he's in something because there's a report that it came
that come out yesterday from Rick Stroud of the Tampa
Bay Times that says that Antonio Brown is being accused
by his former personal chef of using a fake vaccine card.
(22:10):
Uh so, of course that made the rounds on social media.
Uh there's also some stuff out there now I'm hearing
that Antonio Brown's agent or his lawyer is saying, well,
you know, if you wanted to take a booster shot
on television, he can do that to kind of prove
everybody this is not the case. But here we go again. Yeah,
(22:30):
that that is a booster. I have no idea it's
Antonio Brown. I have no idea, you know. I guess
they're trying to use the logic of they wouldn't give
you a booster if you hadn't already completed the vacs.
That's what I don't I don't know that there is
any logic that gave it to you, Jonas you not
can you not get the booster if you hadn't, I
(22:52):
don't know. I mean if you can get, if you
can get a fake card, why can't you just take
a booster shot? Well, I mean there is those Those
shots are regulated pretty closely. So that's the the idea is, well,
booster shots, I'm saying, are are like it's simple, like
a flu shot. Those are regulated. I mean you get
that like a CBS. Yes you can't. But what I'm
(23:15):
saying is is that you can't fake the vaccination. So
so the idea of it is it's if you're if
they're saying I'm getting the booster shot, you you already have.
That's the Again, I'm not going to try to be
too logical about it. The point is he's saying, I'll
take the booster to prove to y'all that I've I've
already been vaccinated. I took the too vaccine. I think
(23:37):
he's saying he'll take the booster to prove that he's
not scared of whatever is in the vacs or the booster,
because that was supposedly from the chef's account, the reason
why he wanted to get a fake card was so
he could avoid whatever potential side effects that were from
the vaccination, which I believe he claimed. You got the
(23:58):
Johnson and Johnson, which if you recall, was one shot
facts and then that was the one that there is
supposedly side effects or if you're at risk to blood clots,
you have to be careful taking it. Um. So, so
that was more the idea. I think the booster is
only meant to boost the vaccination, so so that that
(24:21):
boost your immunity against the virus. The reason why you
need a boosters because the vaccination is no longer effective.
Otherwise you wouldn't need the booster. You know what I'm saying.
That's how that works. I think it's an addition to
it because now that yeah, you're not you're not talking.
I don't want to debate it. I'm just saying what
the point is is that debate. I'm just explaining it
to you. Yeah, I got you. But what I'm saying
(24:43):
is is that you're not going to get a booster
without having the vaccination. Like nobody's getting a booster without
the vaccination. Tonio Brown, Hey, but you know what's on
live TV? Hey, let's a league streaming. If we're gonna
watch a guy get a booster shot, why don't we
illegally stream LaVar? This is gonna be the worst ever
(25:06):
paid because it's gonna take about right. But what's there
between that and like a boxing fight. Mike Tyson fights
back in the day, LaVar, you remember that? How long
those last three minutes? Yeah, But there's a difference. There's
there's like excitement, there's there's the build up. You expect it,
you anticipated, like, what are you getting out of him
getting a booster shot? Well, here's what we do a Seriously,
(25:28):
what are you getting? Do you have some fetish look
at the way sticking a look at that show? You
guys sound graphic. You're the weirdo. Well, what I'm saying
is we could make this, you know, an event. LaVar
can you know, can do one of his spreads that
he refuses to bring in studio for us to have.
(25:48):
We're talking to bro Man that that pork belly was?
How did that? How that go? Later on the day?
What's that? Yeah? I told you right? Hey, hey Brady,
he did tell me it had it had devil devil
peppers sprinkled on it or whatever. Devil peppers those pepper
(26:15):
flakes you get like pizza chili pepperili peppers, Yeah, devil peppers.
You didn't tell him. The stomach is very Sensitive's gonna
give LaVar something like that? And I tell him that
he's gonna have to rush to a bathroom. Like listen,
you guys saw me do almost FaceTime. You got business
really does go down when I eat certain things, and
(26:35):
that's no good. And that would have been free of charge,
no pay per view includes Well, we could have did
a pay per view for that, and that would have
been way more entertaining than watching ab get a boost.
I'll tell you all I'm saying is people have paid
for worse on television. How are we missing the main? Okay, yeah,
because you really about a chef's score exactly, That's exactly. Okay.
It doesn't by the way, doesn't it seem like Antonio
(26:57):
Brown doesn't like pain his help? Like this story is
popping several times, Chef, it's always hold on Now. Shouldn't
a real story be why do people continue to work
for Antonio? I think that is a real story. Like risk, Well,
the holidays are coming off, you know, people gotta get
you know, it gets pricey out there. But it just
(27:20):
like this is gonna be this conversation that's gonna fire
up people over the next several days. They're gonna be,
you know, bothered by this. He's got a fake vaccine card.
And you know where this is gonna go. It's gonna
go to Tom Brady. They're gonna have like all the
other stuff that comes along with it. Baz about this
(27:40):
is so one are the headlines that came out and like,
like a comment that got slit in there this week was, hey,
Joe Flacca started for the Jets, by the way, it's
not vaccinated, and moving on like no one cared like
he said it. No one cared at this point. I
don't know if that had to do with the fact
that it was Joe Flacco or just the fact that
he's flat out said it. Uh, And and then it
(28:01):
led to like, oh, well he came out and actually
said it versus Aaron Rodgers or the situation now with
Antonio Brown, whatever the case is. I mean, are we
getting fatigued with the topic of vaccination status or is it?
Or is it to the point of it just matters
how you tell people about it. Like I just feel
like the agenda of the media is, Hey, if you
(28:24):
came out and you and you tell us right away
what's your status is, whether you're vaxed or not, You're
not going to receive our wrath. But a god forbid
you try to deceive us, and we find out we're
gonna come after you. We're like, we're gonna do everything
we can to bury you. So what's the NFL gonna
do now? Like that's gonna be the interesting thing about
all this, because the truth is, and and someone told
(28:45):
me this early on, I think, like this past summer
is they were trying to push out vaccinations so fast
that there was no database for it because there were
so many people rushing to get them. And obviously they
had a bunch of different people who or you know,
giving out you know, Fiser and Maderna and and Johnson
and Johnson. There's so many people getting that they never
(29:07):
had that database just to be able to call back
and go back and check it's. So I have no
idea how they're gonna find this out about whether or
not it's it's legitimate, outside of whether or not the
vax card itself doesn't look legitimate. See, I think there's
a lot of players that maybe can't go public or
can't say this because they don't want to catch the
heat or get some of the blowback that say Rogers
(29:28):
got or Cole Beasley because one of the things cold
Beasy said in the off season was look, if it
means I never play in the NFL again, then that's fine.
I'm okay. Financially, he's gonna be okay. He gotta deal
with with the bills, and so he feels like he's
gonna be okay. But there's some guys out there who
can't speak up, who maybe feel exactly the same way.
But to Brady's point, if you've got a name attached
(29:50):
to something like this, they're going to keep you alive.
But that can't be the reason why though, because in
the end, if you're saying, if you're saying they can't
speak up based upon them wanting to maintain their job
or or whatever it may be, that that can't be
the reasoning. Because if you're that, if you're in a
desperate situation where you need to make money and this
(30:10):
is generally the only way you know how to make money,
then you're just going to get the vaccination. So this
is a different This is you gotta go more into
elitists in my opinion, when you're talking about this vaccination,
not not the latter, because to me, if you're not
talking about getting this vaccination, if you're trying to make
(30:31):
it a conversation where I'm not I'm not putting something
in my body that I'm not aware of. That's generally
people that had the resources to know exactly what it
is that they're doing with their bodies, exactly what they're
doing with with their lives and and and you know,
a structured manner. So now you're talking about the most
elite players, like a Tom Brady, like an Aaron Rodgers.
(30:55):
You know, those are the people you're gonna pinpoint. And
now you gotta ask yourself the question, why would they
not if they're if they're standing on the fact that
they don't want to get the vaccination, you gotta ask
yourself the reason, you know why, or ask the question
question why are they not? Why why are they not
getting it? In the sense that they are not going
to talk about it, like like you said, Brady, just
(31:17):
say I didn't get it, like just so I didn't
get it, and then go from there. But that's not
that's not good enough. Joe Flacco says it, it's a
big deal. Kirk Cousins said it. He got ripped apart
for it. I mean like it. It just depends. But
now nobody's ripping on the part now, so just ripped.
I do wonder when when we'll get kind of moved
past this. And maybe it has more to do with
(31:38):
the protocols and all that kind of stuff, but I mean, again,
it'll be interesting to see how the NFL tries to
investigate this because what what what what really it calls
into And the question is, much like with the Roger situation,
is the protocols. So if Antonio Brown was you know,
following protocols as just as if he was vaxed, which
(31:59):
you know, if he and then that's a different protocol
than what Antonio Brown, uh, the unvaxed player would be
dealing with. So so that's more of the issue here
moving forward is how they go about investigating it, How
how they go about, you know, proving it. Does he
have to prove it? He already gave a vax card?
Is it now just identifying whether that's legitimate? I mean,
the whole thing is crazy. But on top of that,
(32:22):
on top of that, guys, okay, it comes back that
he falsified the information they charged. They they find uh,
Aaron Rodgers fifteen thousand dollars. So for all of that
what we're gonna say, Oh, we're upset with him not disclosing. Oh,
he needs to be punished. Fifteen thousand. Okay, moving on
(32:42):
now what well, the differences is he would it's technically
a federal crime and so now it's like legally, could
he be in trouble because of this? That's the differences.
Rogers cities immunized. Antonio Brown tried to year about no table.
Now that's clarity. Yeah, it's uh yeah, it's clarity. A
(33:06):
bigger deal for sure. It's Two Pros and a Cup
of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. So well listen,
you know, right, what do you think he turned the corner?
This stuff happens. Uh, it is LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn,

Here on Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn Jonas
knocks with the Here on fs are uh coming up
top of next hour, It is a busy weekend in
the NFL and there is a big time match up
we are going to get to see. It could be
(34:31):
a potential Super Bowl matchup. We'll get into all that
here top of next hour. A little over ten minutes
from now here on fs are some people chiming on
on Twitter about Brady's behavior over the TV situation at DFW.
I like to call Dallas for Worth Airport. To the
common man, I called DFW, but you know some people
just saying, you know, defending on the restaurant. Um. You know,
(34:53):
TV programming is determined by corporate not by the local establishment.
So basically what they're saying is you have no pull
at df W, Brady. I know what they're saying is
apparently a part of the corporate culture there. DFW is
not watching football. So again another knock to the great
state of Texas and this idea that they're all about football.
Apparently they're not anymore, at least not at the airport.
(35:15):
Another guy writes in uh, this is Brady Quinn's burner account.
I listen to Knox Locks every week and then I
bet the opposite so that guy can kiss my First off,
I wouldn't even know how to have a burner account.
I hate having a Twitter account. The second thing is
that sounds like a loyal listener who's followed Jonas throughout
his radio career, who knows that no matter what he
(35:36):
bloviates about how this show is that he is awful
when it comes to sports betting. Man, I've been handing
out winners left and right here right, No, you can
always claim that on a show that you actually don't
hand anything out. Well, yeah, listen, that's the great thing
about weekend overnight. Everybody's bombed for the most part, so
I can get whatever I say. If they accuse me
that I'm wrong, I just say you're drunk. How would
(35:57):
you know what I said? Did you guys see the
one post on Twitter? Would they say Brady's everywhere? He's
on balance with Brady? Oh? Is that David Anderson? Yeah,
our buddy David Anderson found somebody that looked like looks
like Brady Quinn. Yeah, yeah, there's there. There's like some
show and I think Fox News or something like that,
(36:18):
one of the news channels, and that David Anderson's what
David Anderson watch Fox News. I don't know how. I'm
just saying. Now you're cornering that's how you're saying that
you talk about the former NFL watching David. Yeah, David
Anderson watched this Fox. In fact, not only about he
doubled down. He not only sent the tweet, but he
sent me a text message he just said, I mean,
(36:40):
and he thinks you looked like the guy, so he
kind of looks like he could be like related to you.
But it's close enough where it's funny. I'll tell you. Yeah,
damn David Anderson that I don't even know. He's a
good Yeah, he's good. And here's here's all this want
of something about it to he watches Fox Day, Thank you?
(37:02):
Thank what's this twitter handle? There? What's the Twitter handled?
That's David Anderson? If I remember correct, which one should
be more of a secret watching Fox News or getting
the vaccination? Which point right now? That is a good point?
All right? His time for something we do on the
(37:24):
show every single Friday. It's called this. So you think
you're running these streets, let's find out. Here's your shot colors.
All right, So we're gonna make some predictions here. So
we're gonna go around the room. Let's start with the
man himself, the one and only Brady Quinn, who's going
to make his prediction for the weekend. Brady, what do
we got? Yeah? I gotta we got a real great,
(37:47):
great prediction here for you. I think Tennessee Titans, who
are playing the what is it? What is it used
to have that one way? Yeah, I think they're gonna
win the game. That is such a That is such
chicken ass. Come on, at least like the point spread
or something. Man, they're definitely underdogars. Come on. I mean,
here's the deal. You take that four hundred seventy five
(38:09):
dollars that you have to weigh right right now because
from minus four seventy five it is a guarantee a
hundred dollars. Now again, you have to have four hundred
seventy five to bet the money line, but I'm guaranteeing
you a hundred dollars in your pocket if you have
enough cash to put up there. So there you go.
You want to you want to make you have to.
(38:31):
I have to wow one. I'm I'm I'm predicting I'm
gonna get lucky one. That's one all right in Cleveland
by that that Cleveland nightlife is something okay. And to
West sixth Street there's some advice and too, and everybody
out there is tripping. My wife is flying in the day.
You just come uh and then to um I'm thinking
(38:58):
Michigan State, Welcome to Spotta is going to give day
his first big ten law Wow, all right, now that
that's a ballsy pick you the nineteen points spread? Is that?
What it is? That it's huge? Um? You you think
that mel Tucker, with all that money he's gott now,
is going to be focused on this game. I mean
(39:19):
he's he's playing on vacations and about in Montana. I
just know how that ten works. Man Bryan Day has
has has navigated very nicely. But I'm just saying, I
just feel like this is vintage Big ten football this year,
and somebody's going to knock off Ohio State and it's
(39:39):
not going to be somebody you expected when I think
it could be Michigan State. Pick. Are you ready for
this one? Let's keep it in college football, Oklahoma minus
three and a half against Iowa State. When your head
coach comes out and rolls out that that bag of
diaper crap that Matt Campbell rolled out about, Oh we're
not you know my goal is in the Big twelve.
Coach Campbell went third person. Oklahoma's piste off about what
(40:03):
happened a week ago. Lincoln Riley's got a red ass.
I think the Sooners are gonna lay it on Iowa State.
I like Oklahoma minus three and a half. I don't
like the half point, not not not pleased about the
half point. Stay away from it. They call that, They
call that a hook. You know. That's what they call that,
the hook. You know. I like the hook. Yeah, you do.
(40:26):
Were really good. You were talking about smither hooks talking. Yeah.
