Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox, and coming up on
this Thursday edition, we're going to break down that Ram
Super Bowl parade. I guess you'll call it a parade.
We're also going to talk about a scary moment in
which Matt Stafford did not come away looking all that polite. Uh.
I don't know if I'm gonna get in trouble for
calling him Matt or should I call him Matthew. Who knows.

(00:22):
Maybe I'll get a pretzel throw to me by his wife.
That's always a possibility. We're gonna talk about Sean McVeigh
putting his best player on the spot. We're gonna talk
about more bad news for a guy who's often injured
in the world of sports. We've also got a conversation
about pigeons and how they fly with beards. Yes, it'll
make some sense. Mike McCarthy sticks up for himself, and

(00:42):
the great Albert Rear stops by. All of it is yours.
Coming up next here on the Thursday edition, Two Pros
and a Cup of Joe. Right here, Fox Sports Radio,
you're listening to Fox Sports Radio yeah, yeah, yeah, it

(01:04):
is looking at fifty very differently now after the super Bowl.
Come on, that's not doing well? How do you look
at him like he's doing well in life, doing real well. Yeah,
he's been doing well, like I would say, since that
first album, he's been doing pretty well. Yeah. I don't
like that. I have to drop a damn on him.
I don't. I don't like cats doing well, man, I

(01:27):
like hate cats. I mean you know, I mean vitamin water,
all the album sales of production stuff. He's killing him
and I don't like that. I don't like that. But
I do watch all of his programs. Hey listen, you
know good forty second actor too, right, Yeah, he's he's
he's pretty multi talented dude. Yeah, I enjoyed watching. Uh,

(01:48):
he's got a new show out with Tommy. Tommy just
came out. You guys, you guys up on Tommy. It's
like Uprising, Power, Uprising. It's like this power. Yeah. Tommy's
like an Irish dude from New York. That was best
ends with Ghosts. Oh that's good. Was an Ozark? Yeah yeah, yeah,
I won't give away how that turns out because you

(02:08):
guys are up. Oh yeah, it's just called Tommy. Yeah,
well the show isn't called Tommy. It's I think it's
called Power Uprising, I believe. Yeah, but but Tommy is
the main character and he's from the original show. It's
pretty good. You guys should check it out. You know.
I like those ark too. Yeah. Well, you don't watch
very much TV, so for you to come out of

(02:30):
your face with like current TV was pretty that. Come
on a little help here. I think that was pretty obvious.
That that was obviously because I don't know who Tommy is.
Let me tell you something. That line of racism has
really really gotten blurred. Tell you that that's you on

(02:51):
this show. Uh, it is too frozen. That's a great point.
It's a LaVar Errington Brady in Jonas knocks to be
here on fs are you can hang out with us
is always on the I Heart Radio app. And we're
going to take you all the way up until six
am Pacific time nine am Eastern time here right on
Fox Sports Radio. And we've got a we've got a

(03:13):
champion here. So for people listening on the West coast,
it's a little past three am where we are based
at and hey, there's a champion. Was the man, of course.
I mean, listen, did you see the crowds at that
RAMS Championship parade? My god, I mean you could see
them for miles. Saw Aaron don Hey, hey pack packed

(03:38):
house to see U. You know, l A's new Superstar
team Chip because you guys are clowning on it right now.
And we talked to Petros about it. It was a
mile long parade track, which I don't know the histories
of parades that that might be the shortest I've ever
heard of Freddie Holiday or any celebration. That being said,

(04:01):
I saw some early shots it looked like it was
pretty scarce, but then I saw some stuff later on
where it looked like there's more people there. So what
was the actual feedback on on who showed up for it? Um?
I don't know the actual numbers, and I don't think
we'll ever get the actual real numbers. It's like, you know,
any sporting of that ego to UM, I just would

(04:22):
say there were some shots and some some you know,
nifty camera work. I still can't figure out why it was,
why it was at the Coliseum. They don't play there anymore,
so I I don't get it. Why couldn't it be
it sofa wall because you know the Colosseum's you know
more l A. This is about l A. Okay, is

(04:42):
definitely l cool, So then have it. So if it's
about l A, have it in front of it, in
and out, like what are we talking about here? Like
it was it was, it was a disaster. It won't
be a fake crowd of the fries will get cold,
you know, because it'll be waiting around for somebody to
say something without cursing. On to think that any given

(05:05):
point in time, there are just as many people in
an in and out draft through line. Yeah, it's look,
I just I mean, it's it's probably easy to to
pick on the Rams. I mean, this is also a
team that you know made at a point that don't

(05:25):
sell your tickets to Niner fans. Whatever you do, don't
say your tickets to Nighters fans. We're not gonna get
outnumbered at our stadium again. And then they were on
a silent count in the second quarter, So I mean,
come on, what you're talking about. It's got to start somewhere,
like in Pittsburgh, It's started with me and Joe Green.
It's got to start somewhere and and and it's like

(05:48):
until it starts somewhere. I mean, who better to start
with than Aaron Donald And and you know, obviously he's
not leaving from the sounds of things we'll get into
topically speaking, but why I mean, sometimes you have to
you have to bring the community. You have to you know,
in business these days, like and a lot of the

(06:10):
classes the mentorship UH sessions that I have, the one
thing that people drive home is building your community. And
and there's something to be said about growing and building
and branding and expanding your community. And sometimes you know what,
you got to start with very low numbers and that

(06:32):
could even you know, apply or maybe it does apply
to a pro pro football team that happened to win
the Super Bowl. So the UH it's not always about
the brilliance of what takes place on the field. It's
all about the balance of all the colleges, all of
the different things that go into the machine to make
it work that turns out the success. And and to me,

(06:55):
I think that that's now got to be something that
the front office of the RAMS are really really focusing
in on. You have a tangible asset that you can
now leverage to grow your community. They obviously have to
grow their community larger than what it is, or pique
the interests more of those who are more passive, passive

(07:15):
fans that are part of that community. Well, it would
also help if you had a couple of politicians when
they stepped up on stage weren't wearing St. Louis Rams jerseys.
That would probably help to know that. I think it
appeared to be a St. Louis Ramps jersey. I'm just saying, like, well,
let's set about mass on this time. Right, Well, they're well,
they're holding their breath. Come, I need know the roles

(07:36):
out here. That's how that works with all this hate.
This one just started it off. I hated all fifty
cent to start. I'll take full responsibility. Here's here's the reality.
Like they're they're champions, they won. I feel bad for
them not being celebrated the way it should be. Like

(07:57):
that's that's the that's the tough part. I think as
as a former athlete, you know you look at it,
you go, man, all these dudes have been waiting their
entire career for this. Now you know Whitworth for example,
forty years old, he's been waiting his entire career for
this finally gets it. And that's the kind of celebration
you received, you know, Stafford thirty four. Like you go

(08:18):
through that, you go through all the guys that have
been waiting for this moment. And that's the sad part.
I kind of looking at it and just go, you know,
but it is what it is. I mean, it's not
gonna take away the fact that they want. It's not
going to take away anything else from it. It's just
they're not going to receive in that market the type
of reception that you'd get in other cities that are
more about football. And and look, I challenge anyone like

(08:41):
as much as we would be like, oh well, there's
there's a demographic that's really about football. And I'm sure
that's the part portion that that came out. It's just
it's not quite the same to your point, John, as
the politicians aren't as involved or as excited about it.
You know, they don't think they view it as as
big of a portion of their economy. I mean it
was this year because they had the Super Bowl and
they hosted the NFC Championship Game, but in most years,

(09:04):
like they're not going to view it quite the same
way when you talk about smaller cities, when like football
season is it's a cyclical deal where businesses are thriving
off of that or they survive off of that. It's
an entirely different celebration than when they have success because
those businesses are having success along with the team. You
know that the longer their season goes into the playoffs

(09:25):
and it was Super Bowl, the better they do. There's
a lot of other markets where it's like that. And
obviously in l A. It doesn't really matter, you know,
if the Rams have success or not. It doesn't really matters.
Taxes and and and the ms. They got taxes and yeah,
but even even then that's not enough. You are talking

(09:45):
about raising the taxes again. About that there's a lot
of taxes they'd be taken from you. It definitely is. Um.
Now here's the we're married to l A. Her head
and she doesn't care about you, and you know if
you every single time. Um. So look, we're going to

(10:08):
get into you know, the the dirty move by somebody
who put you know, a player who was trying to
negotiate a contract in a terrible spot. We're gonna get
into that here in a few minutes. I do think
it's worth addressing um the one of the stars of
the parade, matt Stafford, who was a phenomenal drinker. But
maybe I can tell he's never been in an earthquake

(10:29):
because he doesn't know how to handle things falling off shelves,
like I can just tell, well, I can just tell,
like he's he's not really experienced an earthquake out here.
Maybe he's very experienced experience. All right, So here was
here was Matthew Stafford. Don't dare call him Matt because
his wife will throw a pretzel that you had a
football game. But here was Matthew Stafford yesterday, just getting

(10:52):
after it at the parade. I'm damn happy to be
staying up here with you guys. Come on, let's go, y'all.
I'm gonna bring us a little sun in hospitality is.
I appreciate you all so much. You guys have been unbelievable,

(11:12):
unbelievable all year, and you know what, I appreciate you. Yeah, yeah,
all right, yeah those people, yeah, uh, who cares? I

(11:34):
just the whole plate out like cigars slash toque. It
seems like it was almost throwing shade at Burrow and
Tom Brady a little bit right, like Burrows like made
it like a meme of himself, you know, smoking cigars
after games, and so now when someone else does it,
it's almost like, all right, when's the last time you
saw Matt Stafford Matt using Matthew staff with with a cigar.

(11:57):
I can't think of a time ever outside of these
moments right like after the game or this parade, which
again it was more like a Joe Burrow thing. And
then you look at the celebration. Who's the last quarterback
we saw who won a Super Bowl? Who was hammered
off to killer Tom Brady? And so now he's up
there and you're like, all right, dude, I don't understand

(12:18):
by the way, I don't understand why he needs to
have that up there with him on stage while he's talking.
Maybe there's an endorsement behind it, but it's one of
those deals where like we almost feel like you can
let your guard down and act like that, but in reality,
like what it isn't necessary, Like the dude has been
one of the best people throughout his career and I'm
not saying this makes him like a bad person or anything,

(12:40):
but it just it doesn't seem as genuine, and it
doesn't seem necessary, you know what I'm saying, Like you
could still be up there hammered. You don't need to be,
you know, carrying out a bottle with you the whole time.
I just thought it was interesting that I believe that
Matthew Stafford and Brian Kelly had the same speech therapist
or speech up so their Southern style of therapist. You know,

(13:04):
we are in l A. They don't really use Yeah,
I get it. He's always talked. He's talked that way
since he was in Detroit. It just saved a little
heavier to me. I mean, just same, Brian Kelly. Is
your Pittsburgh accent comes out when you drink? It does
not when you drink. Var he starts the way he

(13:26):
starts talking. It sounds a little bit like a back
in Pittsburgh. How does that Pittsburgh accent? Do not know?
I haven't heard it in quite some time. I've heard it,
I don't know. I'm proud of that. If you did,
I look at that as a badge of honor. Right So,
but when the when the camera woman takes a step

(13:46):
back and falls off a nine or ten foot stage Um,
if you had a couple of options, what do you
think Matt Stafford does first? Was get shocked, turned around
and walk away and drink water and act like he
didn't see it happened. No, you know that was that
was odd? Odd to see how that all played out.

(14:08):
B would be uh jumped down, yeah, yeah, well that's
a little bit more realist. Or see jumped down there
and make sure that she's okay because she stepped back
and fell off, hold down off a ten foot stage
and hurt yourself to see if somebody else is open
to a good point, save yourself. I don't know, I

(14:28):
don't I don't know. That's why I'm assuming there was
no crash pad there, because they pulled back on the
camera shot to make sure. It was like when you
see somebody the cops finally get to a guy in
a car who's been on a high speed chase and
the guns are drawn. They're like, all right, pull back
just in case something happens. And uh so, I don't
know if she's okay, but I just a lot of
people making frantic movements with their arms and people crowding around.

(14:53):
You saw a couple of people running over there, so
I don't, you know, you don't never want to speculate
on something as serious in nature as that is. So
I'm gonna say this. I know for certain she was
not okay initially upon that drop. I know that for
certain something happened and odd odd situation altogether. But I mean,

(15:17):
so anyways, to the point right, it was a I
mean that cat Matthew Stafford said, oh my god, sipped
his water and walked away, like this is not for me. Well,
you gotta get hydrated, you know. If you're gonna booze
and drink the you gotta get hydrated. I just feel
like he's done that before, Like I feel like he's

(15:39):
seen somebody drop off of something before, and that was
his reaction, like oh my god, Like why does this
always happen to me? Not oh my god, fell it's
always me. It was like, oh my gosh, there's always
I can't believe this happened to me. Every game always
happened again, Yeah, people falling off of stages around me,

(16:01):
Lego I was falling off on our season or whatever.
Maybe I don't know, he's used to it. It's two
pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with here on fs ARE up next, Uh,
there's somebody in the NFL whose agent is probably not
thrilled with a comment made by his head coach. We'll
get in all that for you right here on fs ARE.

(16:23):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and
Jonas Knocks week days at six am Eastern, three am
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knoxy Here on fs ARE,

(16:44):
we're going to get into, uh, somebody in the NFL
whose agent is probably not thrilled with what happened yesterday.
We'll have that four year momentarily on fs ARE. And
now we were talking about the woman who fell off
the stage. There's a video going around of a Matt
Stafford sort of watching it happen and then turning and
drinking his water like oh God, and then his wife

(17:05):
going to see what was happening. Um, there's uh some
the woman here about it, though she'll talk about on
her podcast like that that's the no. But that's honestly,
that's the double edged sword of when you have a
podcast and you're gonna call people out, which is essentially
what she's done. At times, you're gonna call people out

(17:27):
for how they've talked or treated your husband or you
for that matter, no different than the pretzel incident where
she had to own up to that and talk about that.
This is another time. But then you've got to you've
got to answer the bell, You've gotta answer the call
to like, this is what you do when you thrust
yourself into the public's eye. Is now you have to
answer for yourself or your loved one in this case,

(17:49):
in that instance, so it was good that she at
least immediately went over to the woman to make sure
she was okay. Uh. And again it's it's a clip,
video clip. I'm not gonna judge want to wear another
because I don't know what happened after the clip. You know,
that's the hard part is we see a clip, we
think we have all the answers. We usually don't. And
that's the hard part right now with social media. Kelly

(18:10):
Smiley is the woman's name. The photography that fell off
the fell off the stage, and she tweeted out that
she fractured her spines spinal that's not awful. Yeah, I
broke my back, Like my back is broken? Is it
too soon for that? I mean yeah, because I got
back issues and you know what your head back, I

(18:33):
don't stop my lower back. I told you guys, I
am better moving around in a linebacker's ready position than
than standing upright. I literally would feel more comfortable backwise,
moving like a neanderthal than being a homo erectus. Like
you're like you're warming your hands on a fire something. Yeah, bro,
I'm telling you, like what, they can't roll it out

(18:56):
or I got one of those invert tables and on everything.
If you have a back issue and listen they I
do not have a deal with these people, but them
invert tables. Yeah, Like my back is so bad. I
get nerve, like the whole nerve deal going down your
leg and stuff like that. So it feels like like

(19:18):
hot acid is going all the way down your leg
to your toes. Then you try to ignore it, but
then you start like going to that to that side
because you'd like start losing the strength in that leg.
I got back issues like that. Have you a surgery
on it? Oh see, I've had surgery, Like I already
need more surgery. I'm just off. I'm trying to hold off.

(19:40):
I'm trying to wait until I hear a better technology
before I go go under the needle. Good luck with that.
The hard part is still for this this this just woman.
It's gonna be. Once you start having back issues, usually
there's more and more and more. It's just to to
Levar's point about not wanting to go unto the needle.
Once you do, you're gonna to at some point. Again,

(20:01):
it is one of the most frustrating things you can
have to deal with in your life. So I feel
for her. That is just awful, awful here. Yeah, that's
a rough situation. So hopefully, um, she'll just a moment though,
right Like one moment you're sitting there, you're just filming
live on your camera or doing whatever it is that
she's doing. Next moment, like everything changes. Yeah, I mean,

(20:23):
look if I fell off, if I stepped back on
a curb and fell down like I you know, there'd
be seventy five ambulances nearby, Like she fell off a
nine foot stage and just like and you know, cameras
in her hand and everything, and then he I mean,
the way he walked away, it's like, I'm telling you,
he's gonna see the video of those Philadelphia fans that
fell over when they were trying to say hi to Hurts.

(20:46):
Oh yeah, stopped and yeah yeah yeah. So but I
mean his wife stayed, she sat down and she was watching,
and they were trying to whisk her away as well.
They were trying to get her out of here. And
also that's what I knew serious. It was more serious
than what it was like. Like when they was trying
to grab her up and clear to state, I was like,
oh snap, she's hurt. Well, and when they moved the

(21:08):
camera away as well too, it was like, oh boy,
something might happen. But to Brady's point, I mean, we
don't know. We just saw a clip, a video clip.
It doesn't look great. But you know, also, you know
he's hammered, and you know, people do things they you know,
probably shouldn't do in their hammered from times like what
I hear. Well, from what I hear, I mean not
myself personally, I'm a professional lot of drinker, so I'm
not walking with my pants around my ankles this past

(21:30):
Super Bowl weekend. I'm sorry too much information. Was that
a radio row? It wasn't a radio row, fortunately it
was only it was at home. Well, in fairness, I
think we were all delirious last week. My belly is big,
but my hips are small. So it's like when I
time my when I time my sweatpants, Uh draw strings

(21:54):
and it's over my belly. If it's some way, somehow
finds his way under my belly, it's it's too loose
for my If I'm carrying something in my head like
a drink, like drinks double fisting. I I mean, I
have to prioritize. Okay, good, I had to prioritize. And yes,

(22:17):
Jesus Roverno good Christ, I can. I can always. I
can always tell Brady what you just asked us. Even
I always have visual what is happening here? I always
have visual? Alright, I built like Aaron Donald. That's for certain.

(22:39):
It's two pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio, Sorry, Ericton,
Brady Quinn Jonas knocks coming up and again, baby, I
am just yeah, well I can tell you that's for sure.
So on coming up fifteen minutes from now, some some
not great news for somebody in the world is boards,

(23:00):
but it shouldn't be at all surprising. We'll get into
that for you here on fs Are So Um, we
had talked about the Aaron Donald rumblings. Rodney Harrison before
the Super Bowl mentioned that Aaron Donald, if he were
to win a Super Bowl, would consider walking away. And
I think it was Brady who pointed out Monday that, well,
you know, this could be him looking for a little

(23:20):
bit of a pay raise, because if you look at
all his accomplishments, his achievements, you know, he's he's probably
underpaid based on all of that. So Aaron Donald has
been very smart about not confirming nor denying any of this.
I'm just gonna wait. I'm just gonna you know, I
just want to enjoy this moment. We'll get into all
that stuff later on. And so he's on stage yesterday
at the RAMS parade, uh, you know, just kind of

(23:42):
giving his thanks and having a few drinks and acknowledging
I've had a few drinks. And then um, his head
coach Sean McVeigh, who was becoming more and more of
a blowhard as the weeks passed by, he decides to
grab the mic and put Aaron Donald on the spot.
Aaron Shaun McVeigh just tapped me on the shoulder. He
wanted to know if you were interested in running it back? Yeah,

(24:12):
run it back, run it back, run in back, run
it back, run in back. Give it up for Aaron Donald.
What a stud everything we we we built a super team.
We could bring a super team back. Why not running back?
We could be I mean, I mean, oh, twenty of

(24:32):
them were into it, though, Man, why did it sound
like there's no one there? Because there? Man, it sounded
like what it was cast. This is it was it
like a bunch of RAMS employees who came down for
it to make it look like there was more people besides,
like because some of the shots looked like there are
people there. But that sounds like there's no one there.

(24:53):
It's just, uh, I don't look. I don't know. If
it was the fact that it was in such a
small area, I would assume that would make it easier,
make it better, But I just I don't know. To me,
it looked it looked weak. Uh, it looked nothing like
any of the Laker parades and chant run it back.

(25:13):
I can reenact it perfectly right now. He tried to
create the chance and there was an echo. Run back. Listen,
y'all listen, I get two savers obviously, run it back, run,
run it. He's looking around like, like, hold on, there's somebody.

(25:34):
Why would Sean McVeigh put Aaron Donald on the spot
like that? I mean, is this just the boot Bruce
Arians do it? Yeah, Brucerians do it last when he
said you're you're coming back and they would franchise tag yeah,
which which you know, it didn't end well for him. Yeah,
but don't worry. Antonio Brown stepped right up and everything
was fine. So he's they were good. Yeah. But but

(25:58):
but it goes back to the original. I mean, it's
not like we haven't seen this done before. The difference was,
you know, and both like I don't think there's any
doubt that Bruce Arians was going to come back. This
offseason was the doubt of all right, will Bruce Arians
be there? Nope, they said he's coming back, He's coming back.
There was a little dealla shop McVeigh. So the fact

(26:18):
that he would put him in that position, it's kind
of odd. It's not it's not good for Aaron obviously,
his agent if they are trying to make a case
for Hey, you know, would I rather retire or come back?
I mean, if that's your leverage, you know, maybe the
Rams just say okay, go and go and retire. That's
the hard thing. When you don't have something else that
can compete with the offer that the team can make

(26:40):
for you, it becomes hard to create that additional value
outside just saying yeah, if you want my services, you're
gonna pay me more. And it's hard to do that
because their cap situation isn't great. I mean they're a
little bit over the cap, not much, but they've got
to figure out what to do with some veteran guys.
So it's it's an awkward it's an awkward situation for
McVeigh to put him in. But that being said, like

(27:01):
I don't know that he is the one that has
all the leverage as far as getting outside of his
production on the field, getting more money. It's it's more
McVeigh if he is indeed coming back, and if that
was the time in which he's kind of portraying it
to people, or at least his fiance has portrayed to
people through social media. They're the ones that are hurting
his ability to maximize what his leverage could be after

(27:24):
a Super Bowl and with broadcast you know, uh networks
out there saying we would like him to be a
part of what we're doing right now. That's the one
that I think hurt their leverage. You're talking about mcveigh's fiancee.
She posted on her Instagram from what I which is
which is still because she said she said he's not retiring. Yeah,

(27:46):
she didn't put herself in the photo. It's just it's
just McVeigh. So that one's not gonna excite you. I mean,
LaVar while you're there though, I mean, just look around.
There is nothing wrong with your significant others stepping up
to the plate to say things straight. But you know
what's funny, I feel like that would uh like they're

(28:07):
the ones taken the blame. You look at why Tom
Brady retired. Everyone said, well that's because at Jaselle, like
like the family wants him to be done. Even with McVeigh,
it's like, well, they're getting married, he wants to focus
on his family. It's almost like they get blamed in
all of this, which is completely unfair. But I also
wonder if that's why maybe she felt it was necessary
to post that. Well, I would. I would certainly ask

(28:29):
the question, is it possible to find yourself being upset
at Giselle saying that she wants Tom to be at
home or or wants him to work. Would you would
you find yourself being upset? What's the Beyonce's name? Veronica?
I think it's crazy. I just I went to go
type it in and it automatically popped up on my phone.

(28:51):
Can you believe it's like they know we're talking about it,
or might have looked around. I'm just saying, certain times,
certain people have the right to leverage what they're leveraging.
And I would just happen to venture to say that
in these two situations, these two instances, McVeigh and Tom
Brady can leverage and and and hide behind their significant other,

(29:16):
and I think it would be um successful. Yeah, that's
that's I'll just leave that there. Do you think so? Yeah?
Hell yeah? Yeah? So like here's the here's the picture.
I'm telling you my respect level went up so for him,
not even based off of winning the Super Bowl. I mean,
I wasn't at the parade either, you know what I mean.
But you're like everybody else. But I bet you if

(29:38):
they had that's that might be going too far that
deep with it. All i'm gonna say is I'm a
fan of McVeigh, and I hope that the announcement, what's wrong.
I hope that the announcement that she made on her
I G is good, you know whatever it is. Yeah,
I'm sure I'm showing hold on it's good. I don't know.

(30:06):
I'm generally not going to read much. You know, it
would have to be in video form, That's what I
was saying. I mean, I'm trying to do the research. Yeah,
I just hope it's good. The production value, no, whatever
the message of it is that, well, let's say this much.
She's not in it much. If that's what you're looking for. No, No, no,
I wasn't looking. I wasn't. It wasn't saying that at all.

(30:29):
I was just saying about McVeigh. Yeah, what do you
how tall is McVeigh? Not tall? It's not tall. He
was only six ft he Actually I was hiding behind
that two bottle on stage, was he really? Not? Really?

(30:50):
That's a big bottle. It's good tea. Let me tell
you something. You're all this discussion about McVeigh and his
family and all that stuff has gotten Lee obvious, Lee
very very excited because the door is open to the
control room again. Lee is pacing, friend. Is it cropduster? Thursdays? Again? Thursday? Man,

(31:11):
you can't wait till the weekend? Gasp? Understand Why does
Lee smile like that? Because he knows this guy is
younger than I am, Because he knows what's leaving his
body is to happen to everybody's health. Lee, Well, what's
going on? Man? Is it the blue cheese from the
excitement about McVeigh and the parade? It was Carney's chili dogs?

(31:33):
Chili dogs? What is your diet? Dog? I think Lee
eats whatever is on Carnival eats that that night. He
just goes around it eats carnival food. It's corn dogs,
it's burgers, when deep fried twinkies. At some point, I mean, Lee,
you got problems, dude. All I know is when it

(31:53):
happens and you laugh and you smill like what you
can see Lee doing back there, and then he's near
the doorway. I just can't even imagine. Yeah, I can
just I just can't even imagine. All Right, it is
uh two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio. Good luck to you McVeigh. You're you're
good either way, sir. Stop coach, don't coach retired. You're

(32:16):

(33:19):
two pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with here on fs are. Well,
you know, Jared Goff had a point you want to
touch that that's why he gots raded. I'm just wondering.

(33:42):
I mean it puts it signs some light. I'll tell
you that. Yeah, there's some of those of you a
curious there's um, you know, was a rumor out there
that that Jared Goff part of the demise of him
and Sean mcvey's relationship is a text that was uncovered
between Jared Goff and um what exactly some teammates. What

(34:04):
exactly did that text say? Um? Apparently he majored in plumbing,
so so he made a comment about Sean mcveigh's fiance
and that might have led to the thank you Jared.
That was Jared Goff jointing us here on Fox Sports Radio. Um,
or maybe he was texting Lamar. I'm not quite sure.

(34:28):
All right, Uh so we're going to get into uh,
somebody in the NFL who finally stood up for themselves
a head coach and good for him. That'll be happening
here ten minutes from that. That could keep expanding thinking
who did Jared congratulate first on the victory? That is

(34:49):
uh yeah, this is so dangerously it is. Alright, So
right now it is time for something we do on
the show called this. Sometimes he can't get to everything
in the world of sports or entertainment. Good thing. The
guys are here to bring you in case you missed it,

(35:10):
and for that we turned it over to the great
lead to laugh find out what the hell is going on? Lee, guys,
in case you missed it. Last night, Lakers Anthony Davis
was carried off the court early in the game against
the against the Jazz last night and they were one
oh six, one oh one win. Was it a box?
What was it? He was carried off? He was he was.
They brought up the carpets, carried off. He couldn't put

(35:31):
any weight on the ankle. But initial X rays came
back negative. He has set for an m R right tomorrow.
There's a still shot. His foot is completely folded in
like he like he stepped down leg to the floor
and everyone thought, oh my god, this is gonna be uh,
this is gonna be it. And you know, thankfully the
X rays are negative. But like, do you guys have

(35:51):
teammates that just no matter what, something happened and they
got injured all the time and just never realized their
careers based on the constant of injury issue into one
of them. That's that's got to be the most frustrating
thing in the world. Man, to just know, Man, I
get out there, I look good, and then there's another

(36:16):
I was going to ask that though, when you talk
about reaches full potential, I don't know that there's another
player that I looked at, especially once you know Lebron
came to the Lakers and thought, man, they're gonna win
titles for years because of how good Anthony Davis is
going to be. I mean, at one point, I think

(36:36):
he was looked at as being like a top three player,
could be a top three player. Never what has happened
to him. I mean, I know injuries are a portion
of it, but I don't know that even when he's
been healthy, it's it's ever really evolved into that. Well,
doesn't it psychologically? When you're injured that much, aren't you
just worried man if I step wrong here. This is

(36:59):
just what it's like to be injured in that tall
It's like, yeah, that's gotta beat That's like, it's gotta
be scary being up that far, like being that far
away from the ground that somebody's shoulders. I mean, speak
for yourself, bro, that dude, like you're that tall. I'm

(37:21):
just saying that you're injured a lot, and it's your legs.
That's just that's gotta be an unnerving feeling, man, like
the way you're but like I just I can't comprehend it.
And if he falls over, you know, Matt Stafford's not
helping him. He's just gonna say, oh my gosh, it's
gonna take a sip of his water and look at
a d like man take off. Hopefully my my, my

(37:44):
significant other. We haven't even gotten into the Zion Williamson stuff.
At some point we can talk about that. I mean,
that's another guy who cannot stay healthy, like you just can't.
Now they're talking about another surgery which is gonna shut
him down again. Like, I just feel bad for these guys.
He's on the same diet lead I was like one one,
you're like okay, Like it's just injurily riddled. He doesn't

(38:06):
seem like he's out of shape. The other one, I
don't know if we're just calling big bone or I
think that's just insulted. Yeah, I think I think Roberto
should should call himself out on him. I mean, you
know we're gonna be honest here, but yeah, you know
what she did, it's good for the goose, is good
for there. You can believe it. I mean, when that
man blew up a shoe, you knew there was something

(38:28):
going right. I mean, if you understand how sturdy basketball
shoes are and those are Nikes, right, and they were
Nikes and that bad boy exploded like poof, you should
have known something was was going on. Now, is there
like a shoe brand you would have expected that from

(38:50):
or do we not want to alien to that? But
I'm just telling you basketball shoes are generally sturdy, and
he dispelled that myth sturdy show. No, I've never thought
Nikes for that sturdy. Wow. I can't you believe that.
I mean, I'm not going to do that, just do it.
