Speaker 2 (02:25):
How we feeling.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
I'm feeling okay, you know, kind of trying to recover still,
obviously was it with you guys?

Speaker 5 (02:32):
Friday was trying to rest up a bit.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
My voice is just hanging on by a thread. So
it's been a long time coming. But man, what a
day of football yesterday. That was awesome. Although I'll say this,
how many surprises were there as far as.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
The outcomes, I can think of one, maybe two.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
As for the rest of them, I feel like the
game's kind of went about the way I thought they're
gonna go.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Yeah, fair to say yeah, no, I think that's fair.
I think there there's a couple of surprises. Maybe teams
that you look at and go through through two weeks,
maybe a little bit better then and a little bit
worse than you thought. You know, Indianapolis and you know,
I think a lot of people look at Indianapolis and Noah,

(03:16):
by the way, I don't think they've punted yet this season.
Like I don't think the Colts have punted yet, Like
I don't, I mean, I don't know, Like through they
scored on the first ten drives of the year, uh
did the Indianapolis Colts And it just it feels like,

(03:37):
you know, Shane Steichen and Daniel Jones and you know,
we can talk to Dean Blandino coming up tomorrow about
the leverage call that was called on the Denver Broncos
that led to the penalty and the and the kick there.
But it just feels like, yeah, there's not not a
lot of people saw that coming. I don't think there's
many people that are surprised by.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
You're right, by the way, they have not punted this
They turned it over on downs, but they have.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Not punted this season so far. It's amazing. There's two games.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Well yeah about that punt team just collecting checks and
not not even on the field.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
That's sweet.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
So so yeah, I mean Indianapolis is definitely surprised. The
big game from yesterday obviously, was the Super Bowl rematch
between the Chiefs and the Eagles. Philly gets it done.
They pushed their way all the way to a win.
Yet again, did that game tell you more about where

(04:32):
Philly's at or tell you more about where Kansas City
is at?

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Probably more Philly. And the reason why I said that
Kansas City's missing Rachie Rice exam if you're worthy. I'm
not trying to give them a pass, but when you
watch that offense, it just it feels like they have
no bite. They've got no ability really to create much
in the passing game. And granted this is a game

(04:58):
that it wasn't some sort of offensive explosion, but I
look at Kansas City and I I kind of give
them a bit of a pass. Like they're the O
and two team right now. I'm looking at saying, well,
if there's one team that's oh and two that's gonna
make the playoffs, that's where I put my money.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
It's it's easy, bunny. But I mean, look, the.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Last time they started out to two was twenty fourteen,
then went nine at seven. They missed the playoffs that year.
So maybe this is a step back here for the
Kansasity Chiefs, and maybe they they've got to start thinking
about rebuilding.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
But I feel like.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
I probably probably gave Kansasity more of a pass.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
Learn more about Philly.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
I mean, they've won what this is, seventh stray whatever,
They're seventeen and one of their Ust eighteen games.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Something like that. Really they're they're incredible.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
This is this is a team that's built to win,
and we should talk to start talking about them about
repeating because that's a real possibility.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
It just feels like they know exactly who they are,
they know what they're gonna do. They're not gonna wow
you with a bunch of numbers and all that, and
they're you know, it's Siriana made the column a couple
of years ago. It's first to nine and when they
get to short yardage situations, they're going to use that
play however you feel about it, and they're going to
get a first down or they're going to score, and

(06:11):
they're just going to grind you down. And that game yesterday,
look Kelsey dropping that ball. That was a critical mistake
in that game. It felt like Kansas City was going
into the end zone to score there and then all
of a sudden, it's an interception. It's headed back the
other way. And I do wonder about Kansas City because
it feels like it feels like the past more than

(06:34):
a year, the questions about the Chiefs have been more
about offense and it has defense.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Is that fair?

Speaker 1 (06:43):
And you can go back to the super Bowl last
year and you can go, well, they got blown out
in the Super Bowl. But even that wasn't like, you know,
Philly was totally dominant on offense. There was a couple
of explosive plays. That DeVante Smith touchdown was one of them,
but that pick six before halftime was was It was
a huge mistake. It just it feels like the Kansas

(07:03):
City concerns are more on the offensive side of the ball.
And that's been going on for a while now.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
And I don't know if you.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Chalk that up to injuries or what, but it just
feels like this is not the same explosive offensive team
that we've seen in previous years with Patrick Mahomes and
those guys. And I don't know if it's age, I
don't know what it is, but it just feels like
there's a different vibe around this team than there has
been a year's past.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
The one thing I kind of look at with Kansas
City that is always concerning is they've never really developed
a run game that's consistent. I mean, if you want
to look at the contrast, we could look at, you know,
last year's Super Bowl. We could look at these two
teams and simply say this, Philly, when they need to
make throws, they can and I know Jailor Hurts didn't

(07:51):
have a prolific day yesterday, barely through over one hundred yards.
You know, probably with sacks it you know, it took
away from that. But when they need to make throws,
he does. You know, They've got Saquon, They've got aj Dillon,
They've got Hurts who can run the football too. They
can push you around up front, and they can rely
on the running game and good defense. There's never really

(08:13):
that style of play from Kansas City that I think
they can win with.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
Like that's the one thing that I look at and say, all.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Right with Mahomes is off or if they're going to play,
you know, a bunch of different coverage types to really
force the issue and dare Kansas City to run. They
just don't have it. Man, When Patch Mahomes is your
leading rusher who more than doubled with your next player
running back was able to accumulate, that's a problem. So

(08:41):
I don't know if it's more of a matter of
missing up front with who they brought in and the
look at guys who are you know, maybe a little
better at protecting or just saying hey, we're okay with.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
Not being able to run the football as effectively.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
But but I look at it yesterday as an example
of where this league's going right now. You know, we
talked about the value of the running backs, and you know,
maybe the value of them is starting to skyrocket again
because you've got so many teams who are starting to
pay some of these guys because they see the value
and be able to consistently run the football.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
Kansas City doesn't do that. It's almost like they haven't adapted.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
They have an adjusted what everyone else has, or at
least some of the top teams have.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
So that's my big concerntive. If I'm looking at Kansas
City critically.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
It's I don't know if you'd say they rely on
Patrick Mahomes the passing game too much, but they sure
as heck don't care about running the football, and they
need to start caring about that otherwise they're gonna go
nine at seven and we sitting outside looking in like
they did in twenty fourteen.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Yeah, yeah, maybe the running back is back. You know,
all that conversation about you know, one of these guys
are going to become a factor. It's like, you know,
Green Bay's the other team you look at and there's
no question that. You know, when the weather changes and
it gets to the postseason, they'll just hand the ball
off to Josh Jacobs, like if they need to, they
can grind out games with him him. But Kansas City

(10:01):
doesn't feel like they have that guy now. Patrick Mahomes
did talk afterwards their leading rusher, the best running back
on the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes spoke afterwards about the Kelsey
turnover in that moment in the game.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
Yeah, I mean we got the defense that we wanted.
You know, we expect him to play that zero zero
with the whole player, with the safety I just got.
I think I put us a tattoo early, you know,
just trying to put it on his body low before
that whole player got there. And I think if I
can put it more on his body and not so
far out in front of him, then he can catch it,
take the hit and get the end zone.

Speaker 5 (10:33):
And a little bit low with the goal line, just
like that across the Hansom.

Speaker 6 (10:37):
Yeah, you want to put it low, just but more
on his body. You know, whenever you're in those tight
quarters like that, you want to give it to him,
especially a bigger guy, more on his body where he
can catch it. Brace for that contact. We knew the
whole player be looking for him. I mean, that's our
one of our big targets down there in the red zone,
and so he was breaking to kind of make a
hit and it was just unfortunate bounced up in the air.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
I went right to him.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Yeah, not ideal.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
If yet that you Chiefs plus one and a half,
that's not a great spot to be in. The bright
side is if they're looking for somebody to run the ball,
why don't you give it to Josh Simmons Because that
play he made chasing down that interception was really that
was really impressive. That was really impressive. And I know
Pete Prisco's coming up an hour three. He was a

(11:20):
Josh Simmons fan and spoke highly of him afterwards. I'm
sure he's going to use that as more more proof that,
you know, he's always on the right side of things.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
But yeah, I.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Don't know, man, It just it doesn't feel like the
same the same team that we've seen in previous years.
And maybe this is just the end of the end
of the I don't know, the dynasty, the end of
the era for the Kansas City Chiefs, and this is
just more than likely how it goes.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
Because we can point to the Patriots.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
And their dominance that they had for all the years
that they had it, But there was a time there
where the Patriots went about a decade between super bowls.
So like the exception and the rule, this this is
more like what we see from dynasties when it starts
to starts to fade away. The exception is New England
and what they did with two different times that they

(12:14):
were able to make championship runs and hold that thing
together for twenty years. They've been doing this for you know,
the better part of a decade, and maybe this is
you know, we're at the point to where you know,
it starts to starts to fade away a little bit here,
I think.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
I think the other thing you have to acknowledge is
and I've said this before, and I'm not sure it
landed the way I wanted it to, at least when
Varr was with us, the AFC West is a much
more difficult division than the AFCAS. For as great as
it was a run for the Patriots, if we're being honest,
you know, the Bills hadn't gotten Josh Allen yet. Really

(12:49):
at least not into his prime. You know, the Dolphins
were not really competitive. You look the Jets. The Jets
are you know, outside of that run with Mangini for
a small a short period of time, even with you know,
Rex Ryan, I guess you could say too, weren't overly competitive,

(13:09):
like that was a division that they were able to
dominate partly because it was an EPT.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
You look at the s AFC Wes.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
They've got a Denver Broncos team that thinks, you know,
highly effective and will be as a bright future with
bow Nick. So the pieces there Bill to with Sean
Payton obviously, the Chargers who already beat this Kansasity Chiefs
team in Week one in Brazil. That's a team to
look out for. It looks like a playoff team. You know,
you kind of start to go through the division, just say,
all right, I mean even I think you'd admit the

(13:38):
Raiders have been better this year than what maybe what
we thought.

Speaker 5 (13:41):
So I look at the division as a whole.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
And just say, even if you wanted to try to
compare them to what the Patriots were, this is a
much tougher road just to win the division than what
Tom Brady, Bill Belichick had battle.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yeah, because it was always New England was going to
have a buy in the playoffs and all they had
to do was win two games and they were back
in the super Bowl. And now you know, the Chiefs
might have to go on the road, they might have
to you know, be a wild card team, depending on
how the division goes. Yeah, it's I mean the AFC
East was awful, Like they were really bad for a
long time. And it's almost like the Bills.

Speaker 5 (14:16):
Those are the pre dildo days. Yeah, at least you know,
it was until the very end.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Yeah, that was way way back before the og of
the dildo on the field the Buffalo Bills, which by
the way, they they missed their opportunity.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
To we had one Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Yeah, yeah, we had the field neon Green.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Again, I'm assuming was the I did not see video,
but I just saw somebody tweet about it and say, Okay,
well I guess you know, I guess that's what we're
gonna do it still doing. People don't know that the
joke is over and trn its core.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Bend over end though is the throw was the technique
and it hit on the tip and then it continued
to bounce a little bit.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
That's rough.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Yeah, that's a that's a rough way to go. I
would have imagine, you know, if you'd want to do it,
you want to throw a spiral, that would be that
would be my assumption, Like if you were going to
throw a dildo on the field, that you would go spiral.
I know that you were very classy and doing so.
Asking Dean Blandino last week about how he would pick
it up off the field as an official, which I

(15:17):
don't think people thought Dean was going to answer that
the way that he did, but he just rolled right
with it, and uh.

Speaker 5 (15:23):
Well, I also would like to point out that he
is absolutely full of crap.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
There's not a designated official. Every single time we've seen
one of these, it's someone from security.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
It just so happened. One of the clips, unfortunately, showed
a guy with his ass crackout who was picking it up,
which I can't think of a worse Look, Oh, you
can't have your ass cracked out and you're picking up
a dildo off the field.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
But just that's that says way too many things potentially
be going on and people are.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Going to jump to conclusions about you as an individual.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
That's the case, Like you know, was his ass crack
hanging out intentionally or was that something that that was
by accident as he's picking up the dil dough. Yeah, no,
I'm with you. That's not a way to go. But
what is a way to go is the Philadelphia Eagles
are now two and zero on the season. They haven't
seemingly lost in a long ass time, and it doesn't

(16:13):
look like they're going to slow down anytime soon. So
good game for Philly. Kansas City's got to rally and
try and figure things out moving forward, and who knows,
maybe they'll get healthier and we'll see Josh Simmons in
the backfield. If they'll get for a running game, that
might be something. But it is Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you here, two Pros and a cup of Joe

yours here in just a couple of moments from now.
But right now, it is time for the tire Rack
play of the day.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
How sample goes behind the cornerback and shoves them.

Speaker 8 (18:26):
It's a touchdown Jake Browning with eighteen seconds left and
regulation has given the Bengals their first lead all day.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Bengals Radio Network on the call. That is your Tireract
play of the Day. For over forty years, Tireck has
been helping customers find the right tires for how, what
and where they drive. Ship fast and freeback by free Road,
has protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation
tirack dot Com. The way tire buying should be. People
probably thinking Jake Browning on a touchdown, why would that

(19:01):
be the play of the day, Well, because it's the
story of the day and thus far the story of
the year in the NFL. To watch because Joe Burrow,
According to reports, Ian Rappaport being one of them. Joe
Burrow is feared to have suffered a Grade three turf
toe injury, one that would require surgery and put him

(19:22):
out at least three months. Per the NFL Network, Burrow
is still evaluating options, but the ones that would keep
him on the field are dwindling. Doctor David Chow, friend
of the program, He commented on that report and said,
three months is very optimistic. Surgery means the end of season.
Horrible news. That just about.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Changed a lot everything.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Yeah, So I don't know, man, I feel like we've
been down this road before with Joe Burrow, but you know,
a game and change into the year and now we're
talking about next year for Burrow again.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
So he's played this is what is sixth season? Is
that right?

Speaker 4 (20:09):
In the NFL? And half of them he's missed time
due to injury. If I'm not mistaken. I mean, you
go into his rookie year when he started playing ten games,
you know he ended up was it twenty twenty three?
A couple of years ago, he you know, missed I
want to say six seven games at that point I

(20:29):
think it was seven games, yep.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
And now this, I mean, look it's.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Tough, and this is not a scenario where you're kind
of blaming it on any like a personnel group or
anything else. For that reason, he just seems highly injury prone,
especially when you go back to the days at Ohio
State and you know obviously why he didn't win out
the starting job at Ohio.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
State to be there, And so it's tough.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
It's a tough pill to small for Bengals fans because
with him, you're a super Bowl caliber team. Without him,
and this is no disrespect to Jake Browning, you can
maybe still make the playoffs, especially if he plays well
in this offense, and we've seen him play well in
spot duty before. But if he does need surgery, and
he'll go see doctor Anderson, who's one of the best
foot specialists and the guy that everyone goes to.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
You know, he's got a lot.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Of football left in him, even at the age of
twenty nine and going to thirty, like he can play
for a long time. This is something though that I
would be shocked if he does get surgery, he's able
to make it back in time and with a three
month let's just say that's you know, a very optimistic
way of looking at it. You also have to look
at it like, where are the Bengals at you know,

(21:42):
if this team and we're saying three months from that,
right what we're talking about in December, if they're out
of the playoff, what's the point You're not gonna rush
him back to come back for a team that's not
in the playoff hunt. So more than likely, even at
the most optimistic view of this, if he does need surgery,
does get surgery, yeah, I'm kind of thinking this season's

(22:04):
probably over now.

Speaker 5 (22:05):
If he does a different story. Hopefully he can recover,
they can, you know, move on.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
But that grade of a turf toe injury, and mind you,
I'm telling you, it will nag him the rest of
his career, these different foot injuries. It could be a list, Frank,
it could be a chilleres, it could be a turf
toe getting surgery like that, they will they will nag
him the rest of his career. That's just how it works.
It's unfortunate and it stinks. But this is a huge

(22:32):
blow to the Bengals. And if you are the Kansas
City Chiefs, now say it ohen too. When you're any
other team that has playoff aspirations, you're thinking to yourself, few,
we don't have to worry about those guys.

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Like that's probably one team we might have dodged a
Bowl with.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Yeah, I just and I mentioned this, and then I
just get this bad feeling about Cincinnati and I wonder
if and I know he's got a lot of football left,
but this is now becoming routine to where as you mentioned,
there's always the injury. There's you know, he had the
hand issue a couple of years ago, he had the

(23:09):
knee his rookie season.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
He had a shoulder that popped up.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
I think he had like his spleen exploded or something
in training camp. It just feels like this is always
a conversation, always a talking point. And I just wonder,
you know, if you go back to that Super Bowl
they lost to the Rams, if that really was the
best shot. And I know, you know this is not
to try and say, well, you know that's it. You

(23:34):
know their their window is closed. But if this is
the case, more than likely Trey Hendrickson's not going to
be back next year. The defense is already struggling, you know,
with Trey Hendrickson in the lineup, He's not going to
be back next year, and it doesn't feel like Baltimore's
slowing down anytime soon. And it just feels like Buffalo's

(23:57):
found what they are. Josh Allen's got into another level.
You know, we mentioned Patrick Mahomes. That's that's still something
you've got to get through. You look around the AFC
in general, it's a much more difficult conference. I don't
I'm just skeptical that the Bengals are ever going to
get to a point or ever going to get to

(24:18):
a spot to where, yeah, this is a team you
can count on, because something always seems to pop up
before the season. It was, well, we're going to play
in the preseason because we get off to slow starts
and we want to try and avoid that. Okay, well,
mission accomplish. But then the other issue pops up and
it's Joe Burrow's more than likely going to miss the

(24:38):
entire year.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
And now you've got to go with Jake Browning.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
I if I'm a Bengals fan, I'm looking around going all, right,
here we are again, like this is We're so used
to this at this point, and now you just got
to hope and pray that you're in contention for a
playoff spot and Joe Burrow can come back, but it
feels like, based on these reports that it's a long
shot at this point.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
Yeah, and then again, you can't don't need to lose hope,
you're what two and oh, and Jake Browning again has
been in this spot. He's played some good football, so
I think there's optimism there. It's just what's your ceiling?
I mean, ultimately, and then again, not a knock at
Jake Browning, I just I haven't seen him in the
moments play in the NFL the way you have Joe Burrow.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
He's taking his team to a super Bowl. He's been
that giant.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
Slayer, if you will, where he can go up and
go toe to toe with a team like the Kansas
City Chiefs and take them down.

Speaker 5 (25:25):
So that's that's the big concern.

Speaker 4 (25:27):
A lot of football left to be played and when
we don't know yet, so we're only jumping to conclusions
about what the injury could be. But to your point,
it has to be lingering in the back of every
single you know, Bengals fans mind, you know, start of
every season. It just it seems like it's a reoccurring theme.
And again it's it's followed him since his days in college. So,

(25:50):
like I said, it's unfortunate. Bengals fans shouldn't lose hope.
They still have a shot with browning and being two
and oh, but it definitely changes the trajectory of what
you feel like this season could be.

Speaker 5 (26:01):
And that's unfortunate.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
Because you know, obviously I was critical of the organization,
you know, calling them cheap, which I think again, most
rational people, most people who aren't drinking the kool aid
there in Cincinnati about their Bengals organization would admit they're cheap.
All right, That's okay. You know, we all got cheap friends.
We still love them. We just know when it comes

(26:23):
time to pay the bill, they're usually not going to
be able to reach all alligate arms. So it's okay.
The Bengals are that cheap friend that you've got that
you still love. There's nothing wrong with that. You know,
you just have to, you know, pay for a few
more meals. We've all got that personally.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
Now with the organization being as cheap as they are,
will he you know, if he does have to go
through surgery, is he going to get an actual splint
or are they just going to use duct tape and
a couple of popsicle sticks to try and keep his toe.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
When he recovers, he will go see Anderson.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
Doctor Robert Anderson is the best foot and angle specialist
in the country. That is who will most likely do
the surgery. You don't risk not going to one of
the best to do it. And on top of that,
you know the facilities that those guys use. You know,
as much as it's about the reputation of the doctor
and you know how players recover and get back in time,

(27:15):
there's also an element of how clean that facility is.
You know, usually you're going to those facilities getting surgeries
that almost have a zero percent chance of ever getting staff,
which is one of the greatest concerns anytime you're opening
yourself up for surgery.

Speaker 5 (27:29):
So that's part of it too.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
But I still I go back to the Bengals and
I just want to captis by saying, you got all
your guys back. You extended Jamar, you extended t Higgins,
you got you know, try Hendrickson back. You went and
got a great defensive coordinator who yes, it hasn't you
haven't seen the fruits of the labor yet, but you
will all in for this year and unfortunately now that

(27:54):
can all be in jeopardy.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Now, will they do you think that they'll like actually
invest in some anesthesia he's got to go through this.
Are they going to just have him bite down on
like a like a dog bone just to just to
kind of wear it so they can save a little
bit of money there, like how much what are we
talk like, how much money are they willing to save
on Joe Burrow's toe?

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Like as far.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
Asyah again, I know you're trying to make this portion
of it funny. I mean, if your insurance covers it,
you're gonna be having surgery at a you know, unbelievable
facility that's accustomed to seeing professional athletes walk in their
door all the time.

Speaker 5 (28:28):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
I believe doctor Anderson's down back down in Charlotte was there,
then he went to Green Bay, and then he might
be back down in Charlotte. I'm not sure, but wherever
that is. And I've my wife got her achilles done.
He evaluated my Liz Frank, you know, so I have.
There's a long history there. But that's the guy you
go to. They don't you know, they're not doing anything
cheap over there. Okay, even if the Bengals were involved,

(28:51):
they'll say, hey, man, we have a reputation to uphold.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Since we know you guys are trying to save money.
Don't worry. We got this from here.

Speaker 5 (28:57):
Take that dog bone somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Now, do you?

Speaker 1 (29:00):
So the turf toe grade three you mentioned this is
gonna be something that you know, he's gonna have to
deal with any foot issues or whatnot. And Dion Sanders
had to deal with this isn't his entire career because
he had turf toe all those times. Yeah, so you like, yeah,
this is something that's saying. And by the way, I've
actually had turf toe, all right, So I've actually, I'm

(29:21):
telling you, I've had turftow That's a real story, all right.
So so stick that and you're in your pipe and
smoke at Ryan Clark for you non players out there,
I've had turf toe. My foot's never been the same.
I've got a bunyan on my left foot that you
could hang clothes off of. Based on my turf toe,
it's it's never been the same. Shoes on the on
my left foot never feel the same afterwards. And I

(29:42):
don't even think that was a grade one. I think
it was a grade point twenty five, and Joe Burrow's
got a grade three that he's gonna have to deal
with for the you know, for the rest of his career.

Speaker 5 (29:51):
So well, right, I quit your thoughts on that. By
the way, on that Bunyan has.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Yet, I'm gonna have to take a closer look at
your toe Jonas's.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Yeah, it's the foot. It's awful. Yeah it's not it's
not great.

Speaker 5 (30:03):
Can you allow Laurenda during the break that to look
at your feet?

Speaker 2 (30:06):
I think you've looked at your feet before, haven't I yeah,
you looked at him because my toes are all jack.

Speaker 5 (30:10):
That ugly toes.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
But I want to see this bunion. No, no foot
model here.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
Yeah, So I was just say, how did that come about?
Gonna ask like there was just a moment where You're like, hey,
come look at my feet.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
No, remember we were talking about Yeah, well longer than
the other. Yeah, she can snap her toes. You know,
I'm not doing it again, like she can take her
and snap her toes.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
I know that probably turns on Lee gets all horned up,
but it's not too bad.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
That's totally Is that true?

Speaker 3 (30:40):
Rocked up back there.

Speaker 5 (30:41):
Oh yeah he does.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Anyway, rack a beer and watch me snap my toes.

Speaker 5 (30:47):
That's just a great party trick.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
That's just nasty.

Speaker 5 (30:51):
The heat and snaps and toes.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
That is Yeah, that's not not great. So not great
either for the Cincinnati Bengals, But that that news does
come out throughout the course of the show if we
do have confirmation that Joe Burrow is gonna miss extended.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
To sus to come out before n AM so yeah,
it can actually go throw this out there. Though.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
One thing that we should be very keen to and realize,
can we get a round of applause for the Cincinnati
Bengals fans because in the past, this this stadium, this city,
their fan base, they have been the best at consuming
the most alcohol per volume of any stadium in the NFL.

(31:31):
And let me just let me just say, I think
you're gonna inward again this year. I think you're gonna
win the championship. This news is going to accompany a
lot of drinking in Cincinnati. So congrats to the Bengals fans.
I know it's only a couple of games in the season,
I am announcing early.

Speaker 5 (31:47):
You will win. You will be the drunkest fan base
in all of the NFL.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
And by the way, I think Lee did a deep
dive on this. As far as beer prices at stadiums,
I think the Bengals were near the bottom, right how
much it was for a beer, So that makes sense.
Six dollars in change for domestic beer Cincy.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
Lee's going to take a trip, that's how cheap they are.
He's going to convince himself to fly across the country
just to okay cheap here at a Bengals game.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
You know, if anybody recalls when Jake Browning was starting
a couple of years ago, for an extended period of time,
I know this is coming. What do you think, all right?
Since you know so much? All right, mister know it all?
So what do you what do you think my next
statement was going to be?

Speaker 4 (32:28):
I think you're going to make a statement in regards
to Jake Browning, I believe his wife and the snow
bunny outfit or stormtrooper outfit, whatever the hell you want
to call that. Yeah, that's going to be the very
next thing you're going to discuss.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
That's correct, I mean, listen that that was a real
talking point for a lot of people, not me, not myself,
but that was a lot of people who are big
fans of the Let's point up to the press box
and see your point up to the suite rather and
see see who's there to accompany Jake brown into these games.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
So at least about point, Joe Burrow's never really given
us that.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Now he's he's been reportedly dating different models and things,
but they're usually staying at the house quote unquote working
for him where his house gets wrong.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
This is it's a personal assistance, you know, person is different.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Yeah, because Stay Browning's wife shows up and shows out
for everyone.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Because if you were going to hire a personal assistant,
why wouldn't you hire a rocket ship to do with
the job, you know, I mean, why why can't they
also do the job? So yeah, so listen, I think
there's still still some hope there for the Bengals, even
though this is bad news. On Joe, can we have
a problem all right? It is a two pros and
a cup of Joe. Here on Fox Sports Radio, Brady

Lead Lap.

Speaker 9 (35:13):
Good morning everybody, Good morning Jonas, Good morning Brady.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
Guys. In case you missed this.

Speaker 9 (35:19):
Following that uh that loss to the Patriots for the
Dolphins this weekend, Mike McDaniel was at the podium and
had a few things to answer, including what he thought
about his job security and uh, how he goes about
winning games.

Speaker 5 (35:30):
Take a listen.

Speaker 10 (35:31):
I think if I worry about my job security, I
won't be doing my job. I've never felt entitled to
this position. There's a lot of people affected. So yeah,
I won't spend one moment thinking about all the things
that people want me to think about. I need to
do a better job supervising all of the orchestration within
our multiple personnel groups. To win games, you have to

(35:52):
win the game, not lose the game, honestly, and that
that is how you lose the game. You're moving the
you're moving the ball down the field, you're first and ten,
and then you find yourself at second and twenty.

Speaker 5 (36:06):
That was critical.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
I mean, at this point, if you're if you're a
Dolphins fan, you know, watch you know, watch UCLA games
from this season and just feel better.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
Oh Jesus saying that that's a little bit worse. No,
I would say it sounds like a sinking ship. Yes,
it's kind of wild to think too. How you know
your window when you take a head coaching job. Do
you even get three years? I mean it feels like
even if you have success, even if you make the playoffs,
that can run out so quick, like doing away with

(36:44):
some of the like how fragile the fan base can
be with liking you or not. I mean, when he
first got there, he's an offensive guru, He's able to
get the most out of Tua, and then since then
it's like that's kind of been it was.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
How's the end of it is concussions change the course
of his career in Miami like that things changed.

Speaker 5 (37:03):
But again, the injuries were something that he wasn't blind
to coming into it.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Because, like I think a lot of they wanted, they
wanted the opposite of Brian Flores, and they got it.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
The problem.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
The problem is it's just and I do I will
say this. He does feel like he's reverting back to
his original cadence, which is great for our show because
LeVar loves to imitate Mike McDaniel. He can't he still
can't say his name correctly, but he does love to
imitate Mike McDaniel.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
McDaniel. That's not an ass on the end of it,
And so you know, at least we've got that to
look forward to. What else we got, Lee, Guys, In.

Speaker 9 (37:46):
Case you missing what is being described as the largest
crowd ever assembled for a boxing match in Nevada, Terence
Crawford defeated Canelo Alvarez in unanimous decision at Allegiant Stadium.

Speaker 5 (37:55):
Yeah, oh, take away, Jonas, because I did not watch
this far.

Speaker 1 (37:58):
Well, by the way, I don't blame me for not
watching it. The fight didn't start until like one Eastern time.
Absolutely ridiculous, and like you would think that, you know,
Dana White's taken over boxing. He wants to get involved
in boxing because he wants to right the wrongs of
boxing and all this stuff. And it's like, all right,
you know, we're past midnight Eastern time, we're approaching twelve

(38:20):
thirty Eastern time, and they've got like fifteen Mariachi's out
And I get it. It was Mexican Independence Day and
I get all that, and it's Canelo and whatnot, but
I felt like we could have sped up the process
a little bit. It was a good fight. Terrence Crawford
plus one point fifty was a bank heist. A bank heist,
and so for that, we appreciate you, Terrence Crawford. And

(38:43):
you know, the two judges who had at one fifteen,
one thirteen, they should never be allowed to score fights again.
That was ridiculous, But yeah, that was the That was
a quick quick summary of what happened in Then what
did you score to us? One eighteen, one ten? Thank
you for asking.

Speaker 5 (38:57):
Wow, So Crawford really dominated him?

Speaker 1 (38:59):
Yeah, he dominated him at at worst we're talking one
seventeen or one sixteen at worst.

Speaker 5 (39:08):
So the the the one to fifteen down up to
the weight class.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
No, Crawford went up two weight classes, they still be
disassed at Yeah, he went up two weight classes.

Speaker 4 (39:19):
I did see a couple like digital streamer guys like
switch their bet last minute too, like big big bets.

Speaker 5 (39:27):
They got some inside information on this fight. Yeah, and
they switched to Crawford.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
It was but they did over seventy thousand people at
Allegiant Stadium for that fight, and you know to think,
like you know, a couple of days later, they were
showing the process of how they're look we made we
made the point a couple of years ago Vegas and
Miami should be the two Super Bowl cities. Like if

(39:51):
you want to rotate them like Vegas and Miami, just
do that if you want to get some West Coast
and East coast.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
Love to see the process they go through.

Speaker 1 (39:59):
Because they had UNLV, they had Raiders game coming up tonight,
they had the fight mixed in. It just feels like
Vegas has figured this whole thing out, like they wanted
to do sports as well as.

Speaker 5 (40:09):
Yeah it's safe to say, buddy, yeah good call. Yeah,
safe to say yeah, good scoring too.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
By the way Hey, that's what I'm here for.
