Speaker 5 (01:45):
What do you feel from Harrisburg?

Speaker 4 (01:47):
That's good man? Yeah, little eastern Risc Outside, a little
little east coast weather too.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
Fall there for you Southern Californians. It's it happened in
like a week. It litally ping like eighties and then
it just dropped down all of a sudden where it's
like fall weather. It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Yeah. I didn't like the feeling of it when I
came out of the restaurant last evening the hotel room.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
You're a Pittsburgh guy, Yeah I am.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
I'm just not now. You know, I'm from there. I
claim from there, not not I am there. You know,
I don't know it's cold, man. Yeah. Man. I went
from you know, very nice and bright outside and nice
weather and kid is in the pool and stuff like that,
to you know, I got a bundle up. You know,

(02:36):
life of the privileged. You know, at least I yes,
some of us on the West Coast privilege.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Are the Giants privileged to win last night?

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:45):
I mean like, well, I was gonna say, I looked
at that game. I thought there's one of three thoughts here.
Either the Giants, the youth movement, it's working. Eagles offensive
struggles are now really revealed themselves. Or is this just
just a divisional matchup? Like this this stuff happens like

(03:05):
you all build, I mean, every we know this. You
build your team to beat your division opponents when your
division go to the playoffs. Is that more what this
is about?

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Maybe? You know? My biggest takeaway was I think day
Ball has a stunt double on the sideline, Like I
don't know, but when Dark got hurt, there were guys
going over to the tent, and I thought I saw
day Ball and then I was like, wait, that's not Dayball.
And then I saw Dave Ball come over and I

(03:37):
was like, wait, these two guys are standing right next
to each other. Are they twins? Does day Ball have
a twin brother that's on the coaching staff that we
do not know about. I was confused That was my
biggest take away from that game. I got to tell you,
I don't know, but I was glad that Jackson Dark
came out okay because your boy, Russell Wilson got in

(03:58):
there and did What the hell was that with the
pass and the opportunity that he got when he got
in there. Now, granted, I know he was probably cold.
I know, I know, you gotta you know, you gotta
account for the fact that he has to find his
flow and his rhythm in the game for you want
to really judge him. But what the hell you couldn't

(04:20):
have thought of a better pass to happen to take
place in your triumphant moment of coming back when Jackson
Dart went down. That was what you gave us on
third down. Shsh. I don't know, man, I don't know, Q.
Your boy, your cue your boy. Q. I just don't know. Q.

(04:42):
I don't know, man. It could be to be in you.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Well, it's a tough spot for him to be in.
It's a rap with Brian Dable. I mean, look, I've
been around Davis. I know how he is. He's given
up on Russell's It's very apparent he's gonna go with
Jackson Dart and then Jackson Dart's gonna hit a rough
spell and he's gonna come it's sour on him. It's
it's it's a tale as old as time. That's that's
how he operates. So we will see how this thing continues. Clearly,

(05:10):
what they've found is they've found a run game, They've
found a physicality, they found an identity. That's what this
team hasn't really had. And I'm curious to get Jonas'
take on this because it's been kind of quiet so far.
I just I don't know how long this lasts. You
saw Jackson Dart go in the concussion tent or getting
evaluated for a concussion, and it's what a few games

(05:32):
into this thing, and that's kind of how he plays.
So if Brian Dabole wants to have any shot at
continuing to win games, he better have another optional quarterback,
and whether it's Russell wils or Jamis Winston, because how
he's playing this young man in Jackson Dart, He's going
to get hurt. Like the Bash Brothers. It's cool and
all until he get knocked out of the game. And

(05:54):
so his emotions and all that and how he acted
to me, I literally watched that and go, you the
head coach, be a man, like you need to make
sure like if this happens again, because the way you're coaching,
this way you're calling it, it's gonna happen again. You
better be ready for that next guy to step in.
You better not be whining over there to the team

(06:15):
doctor about figuring this out looking like a little bit
on the side, like like I hat to put it
that way, but well maybe it was a stunt double,
but I'm just saying, like, you're the head coach, you
can't be acting like that.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
My thought watching that game was, you know, it's fun.
This is really fun Jackson, Like there is an energy,
there's a new there's something. There's some juice as they
call it that's been you know, kind of infused into
what the Giants needed. And there's a vibe there in
the stadium, like you got camp Scataboo and he's a

(06:50):
maniac and he's doing flips and he's doing surf. He's surfing,
and then Jackson darts out there willing and dealing. They're
not good and it's not gonna last, but it's fun.
And I don't know Brian Dave All's reaction afterwards, like
just it just feels like something. It's almost like insanity.
When insanity was around, it didn't last for long. You

(07:12):
just enjoyed it while you had it, and you were like,
all right, well, it's probably not gonna there's there's no
real staying power here. But at least they've got it
while they've got it, and it's in New York and
there's some buzz and some juice back in the building.
But I just, yeah, I don't know how long this
goes because neither guy plays a style that you look
at and go all right, that's okay. Anthony Richardson couldn't
hold up and what's the what's the discrepancy on and

(07:35):
of the tail of the tape between Anthony Richardson and
Jackson Dart from a physical So I don't know. I
don't know how that lasts. And camp Scataboo, I don't
think cares. I really don't think he cares. Like he's
the white Craig ironhead. Hayward is what he is, and
he's gonna go after it. He does, and he does

(07:56):
not care like reckless.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Worry about looking for him. He's come looking for you
day ball.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
By the way, I was asked about the exchange with
the doctor afterwards and his reaction, and it sounded like this,
Brian Daball, have you.

Speaker 6 (08:13):
Ever been on an NFL sideline.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
There's a lot of emotions.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
I know.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
I was asked about gloves.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
The other day.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
There's a lot of emotions, and I certainly am an
emotional guy. I apologized directly to our team physician. I
just wanted his ass out there if he was okay,
but I wanted to process like we were getting ready
to go for it on potential for it down. I
would have burned a time out if he could have
came out there. So I was asking, how long is
it gonna take? So again, you want your guy out there,

(08:41):
not at risk of anything else. But you know, he
came out and I think he's gonna be good. I'm like,
is he gonna be good or I'm gonna call time out.
I'm fourth down and go for the summer, you know
what I mean. So I love our doctors and pat
I'm sure you're gonna ask me about that, so I'll
just give you the answer. I apologized housing the wrong.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
So there's your guy. Brian Davis well.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
There you go. Hope he doesn't think about it. That's again,
that's kind of more the status he is, you know,
apologizelator about it.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Have we gotten that soft? Maybe he gets fined fifty
grand for for talking to the doctor that way too too.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
You know what's interesting about this is this game was
really emotional. Can and I kind of gave you guys
the backstory between Brian Dable and Nick Sirianni who have
coached together before. They know each other well, but they're
also like brothers who are kind of trying to tack
each other off. I mean the Jalen Hurts rushing touchdown
where they ran the touch push what six times whatever

(09:37):
it was. I mean that in and of itself was
purely Nick Sirianni trying to get under the skin of
Brian Dabele. It wasn't schematic. They're gonna score in a
variety of ways they they wanted. He wanted to do that.
He wanted to keep doing the touch push until they scored,
just to tick off Brian Dable. Swear to God, that's

(10:00):
how these guys are.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Like.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
There's so many I wish I could go through. I
remember one time we were playing in Denver. All right,
so Eric man Jay's head coach and Brian Dables are
off its coordinator. Josh Matangiels is the head coach of
the Broncos at the time, and this is when they
got off and they're like six and a really hot start.
They beat New England and they just they were like
on fire those first six weeks of the season. And

(10:23):
then they did have a really good team. But we
were trying to catch them like all game substituting, like
catching them off guard. And it was like almost like
they get extra brownie points if they were able to
find a way of like getting them catching them at
like their own game, like they I think they did
in New England. And I remember one time we got
caught where we were trying to like run up to

(10:46):
run a play quick, and so our lineman cut is
split and then we end up having to check out
of it, and so now he was in an impossible
position to try to block Elvis Duomerville. And it was
like this was the kind of stuff that would on sometimes. Yeah,
but again that whole sequence was purely because those two

(11:08):
have a red ass for each other.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Dang, do y'all think there's any correlation between the Phillies
and the Eagles, is it? Is it safe to say
now that the Phillies are officially gone from this year's season,
that now the Eagles are released from them and are
a because I gotta tell you all three of my

(11:32):
all three p A teams, which I mean there's Pittsburgh,
but all three active teams, which you know, obviously you
connect the Eagles to the you know, to the Phillies.
But Penn State lost too last week. It was a
three for it was it was a trifector. It was
a hat trick. Isn't the hat trick? Three?

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (11:54):
I'm scared to death for our game this weekend. I'm
scared to death. I don't want want to. I don't
want two in a row. I do not want I
do not want to in a row. I do believe
that the Eagles will be better moving forward now that
the Phillies are done.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
I mean, if it makes you feel only better, the
Flyers are own one on the year too.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Dang, dang, dang. I'm just I'm just I'm I'm shocked.
I'm surprised. I can't believe Jalen hurts like Jalen hurts
gets a lot of support. Jalen Hurts gets a lot
of scrutiny and criticism. That interception that that throw his
game last night was not one of his shining moments. Man.

(12:37):
I will say that, like I have, I tend to
be a more of a he knows how to win.
And we've talked about this, he that you know, this
team finds ways to win and they've been skating like
there's at least maybe two losses that they should have
based upon the way they played versus the way that

(12:59):
they finished the game. They were able to finish the games.
They were able to figure out a way to win,
and it happened, but it was to no real doing
of Jalen Hurts. And I just wonder, I just wonder.
I said that the Kansas City Chiefs they do not
walk around with that aura anymore. They don't have the mistique.

(13:19):
Now they may be a better team than what they
were last year. This may be probably the most talented
team when everybody's healthy, that the Kansas City Chiefs have
had in quite some time. Now. I don't think Kelsey
is still the same Kelsey, but nonetheless, this is still
a really good football team in terms of talent wise,
and they should be able to get to that point

(13:41):
of where they were at when they started their their
you know, their reign of dominance. I just wonder the
league is not looking at any one team as you're
the team. There's no team that has established themselves. There's
usually one or two teams that maybe Buffalo, but even

(14:03):
Buffalo has struggled. They have even the Colts, they have
even had to fight, not not like crazy crazy dominant
like and I would say cast.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
Them blow out Las Vegas. They blow out a.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Couple, I'll say, And looking at the Colts, that's a
like you got we got to see how that plays out.
Just based upon everything that has been connected to them.
I don't know that they're a dominant.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Team on and off the field.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
Dang well yeah, well you know how that goes.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
I'm just saying, you come to Indian Appolis, you better
better buft get ready for that.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
Jalen hurts Steel because yeah, last night, I mean, at
times you see the offense that's able to go and look,
there's a lot of things that are playing a factor
right now. You know, they've got a new offensive coordinator.
That's part of this too, because they've played enough games
where teams have an idea of what they're trying to

(15:02):
do and how they can try to take it away,
or at least the personality of this coordinator versus what
it's been in the past. So there's elements of that.
Hurts did not play well. I mean, you know, he
doesn't turn the football over, so he always gives this
team a chance to win because they are so talented.

(15:22):
They do have so many pieces that can you know,
win in a tight game or just be more supremely
talented than their opponent win more often than not. I mean,
he threw his second pick and what fifteen games something
like that was his first pick all year, So, like,
he plays this style of football to your point, that's
maybe you'd say conservative, and look, it's it's fine for now.

(15:46):
It's good enough to get them into the playoffs, and honestly,
it's good enough to win a super Bowl. They won
a super Bowl last year. But if we're being honest
with ourselves, he misses throws, he misses reads. There he
leaves a lot to be desired a passing game. You know,
I really felt like when he got in the NFL
and from his time from Alabama, and Oklahoma, Oklahoma and Philly,

(16:07):
he continued to develop. I think we've now hit a
bit of a wall in his development as a passer,
and I don't know, And again it could be a
lot to do with what keeps changing, you know, for
his coordinator and a lot of out around him. But
when you have DeVante Smith and aj Brown, those guys
should be going off on a weekly basis. Like it's

(16:27):
just I don't know if it's a play calling situation
where they're not finding ways to get those guys the ball.
I don't know if it's a Jalen Hurts deal. I mean,
obviously he missed Smith on the one long throw last
night where he was white ass open. I mean that's
a touchdown. So there's just there's too many times you
watch it and just go, yeah, he could should have
hit that. Yeah he should have thrown that. And I

(16:49):
can understand the frustration of the receivers because now you're
talking about a standalone game Thursday night football, divisional opponent,
big game, and like they're not. I mean, Smith wasn't
targeted that much in the first place, But when you
get that one opportunity and you miss it, and it's
a layup, it kills you. It should be keeping Jayalen
Hurts awake right now. I just I feel like that's

(17:13):
the Achille Sieald right now in this offense maybe of
this team.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
So on the subject of the coordinator change, you know,
obviously it's a second time this has happened.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Or what third time this has happened?

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Now a third different coordinator because you know they after
stich and left, they hired somebody that didn't work. Now
Callen Moore left. Now they've hired somebody else. Like, so
coordinator change, I get it, But is there anything to
the fact that Baker Mayfield's also had a bunch of
coordinator changes And it doesn't seem like his play is

(17:43):
dipped at all, Like he just keeps seemingly getting better
and better over the past couple of years, whether it's
Canalis or Liam Cohen, Like it's the same Baker Mayfield
You're gonna get and the offense looks like it hasn't
skipped a beat. And to your point, if they've got
all those weapons on the outside, I don't know, man,
it just doesn't look It's tough to want.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
You should be able to do more. You should be
able to do more when you have that type of
talent and they're loading. Not to mention they're loading up
the Stop Saquon. It is first priority. Stop Sakuon Barkley.
Stop Saquon Barkley.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Never left. The Giants should have never left.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
They should have never not got him that God dang record.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Should have taken that deal.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
He should have took the record.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
You know, I was just thinking they should have left
him in so you could try to get that record.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
You know what, Q, I agree with you. You know,
we don't always agree, but I'll tell you what, boy,
that might be the best point you've made since we
started doing this show. God dang god Lee, well that
pure unrated genius just now.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Well that would depends speed, depends depends on. The Prostate

Speaker 3 (19:13):
By the way, he's really rocking. That is it a
chef's hat?

Speaker 1 (19:16):
That? What's that hat he's got on? Jalen hurts after
the game, he's got that Kangle is it.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Yeah, it's kind of like one of them. I didn't
see what he wore after the game, but I would
assume it's like one of those those type hats, you know,
like the showing what is it shown? It's shown whatever.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
That sounds great.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Col Co you knowl the bar, you know whatever, he's
Chuck Chuck Olate, you know, one of those type deals anyways,
you know, like you know, the the and they wearing
France when they're doing like artistry, is like one of

(20:04):
them art.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Hats, like a painter's hat, not a chef's hat, like
a painter's hat.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
Yeah, like a painter All right, that works? Uh you
know why not?

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Well I do.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
I do have some good news for you guys, even
if you're in Philadelphia and you're listening to this, We've
got good news for you.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
It's a football.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
It's too late to do this. We have to go
to pray. We gotta go to prey. We gotta go
to pray. We are really late. We gotta go to prey.
We are really really late, really late, really late. Were

(20:44):
more like like like like like like like get us
out of this segment, get us, get us out of
this segment. All right, Friday night, Friday, Football Friday, do it?

(21:06):
You can feel it.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
It is a Friday here on, two pros and a
cup of Joe. We are gonna have the usuals. Coming
up later on, we got another distion of in case
you missed it. We've also got our picks against the spread,
some Quinn's wins, the leftovers. All of it is yours
here on this three hour extravagance. Up next though, h yeah,
that wasn't the only thing that went really really poorly
for a big group of people in the world of sports.

(21:30):
We'll tell you what was, what else was going on,
and what went wrong coming up next here on FSR, I'll.

Speaker 4 (21:36):
Tell you what goes really well for the people in sports.
Everything just hits different after a football win, right now,
Eagles fans, I know that y'all don't know what that
feels like today, but you have in the past, and
all you other fans out there, Giants and all these
other fans, well, you know that the food tastes better
after a win. The drinks are colder, and the hot sauce,

(21:57):
the hot sauce, oh yeah, that better be the original
Louisiana hot sauce. Though, Okay, you know why, because nothing,
and I mean absolutely nothing brings the heat to your
team getting that dub outside of that amazing flavor, bold

(22:17):
handcrafted kick straight out of Louisiana, that peppery peppers kick,
that vinegar and salt kick. Yeah, the Louisiana flavor masters.
You've done your job, guys, and you've done it blending
perfectly for almost one hundred years. That's a long time, y'all.

(22:38):
Think about how many how many brew masters or excuse me,
flavor masters have done that. Yeah, it'll turn every good
meal into a great meal, and every great meal into
a party on your plate. Wings not jos Burgers, don't matter.
You hit it with that original Louisiana hot sauce after
a Sunday win, and suddenly it's unbeatable, like the touchdown

(22:59):
dance on your tongue. Yeah, they'd be dancing and listen
if they didn't pull off the wind. It don't matter
because if you pour some of that Louisiana hot sauce
on it anyway, it's gonna help ease the pain. That's
what we call a victory formation for your taste buds.
The original Louisiana Hot sauce. That's Louisiana Hot, buy you some.

(23:25):
He's Mike Krmen. I'm Dan Byer.

I mean I'm just saying, I mean they throw it.
Let me tell you something, Oh tell me, let me
tell you. Let me tell you something about Philly fans.
I'm gonna tell y'all about Philly fans.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Yeah, yeah, NASA.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
Did you know they got rated as the dumbest fan
base in all of sports. That's crazy. I don't know
how you would do that poll with it.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
What's the criteria?

Speaker 4 (24:47):
I don't know, but they were number one. They were
number one. There was a list that came out. I
forget where I saw it, but anyway, and listen, Philly
people are my people. So I feel like I'm allowed
to say this because I said.

Speaker 5 (25:01):
Because Pittsburgh and Philly are copa setting like they're all cool.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
No they're not. They're exactly mortal enemies. But I'm a
penn Stater, so I am a Philly represented representative. I
represent all all parts of Pennsylvania.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
So would you say there are more there's more Penn
State Philly connection or Penn State Pittsburgh connection.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
It's it's pretty, it's pretty evenly distributed, and and you
can sprinkle in a little giants. You could like put
a drop of jets because there's a lot of people
from New Jersey, a lot of people from New York,
so and Jersey obviously spans from Philly to New York.

(25:47):
So it's it's a it's an interesting fan mixed melt
melting pot of people that are fans for Penn State.
But nonetheless I represent those that are on the eastern
side of the state. And the point I was making,
they are some of the most flagrant fans, could be
the most flagrant fans in all of sports. I mean,

(26:10):
great to have them. They're like that teammate that you know,
you love to have a Bill Romanowski, but you hate
to play against them, like you hate to be have
him as an opponent. That's like Philly fans. I love
to have them as fans, I'd hate to have them
as as you know, they're the opponent's fan base. I mean,
because they are so flagrant.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
Bro, I'm showing. I'm showing.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
If you take the I ninety nine in the twenty
two west, one hundred and forty miles from State College
to Pittsburgh, but if you're going to Philly.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
It's a little further. It's like four hours.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
It's like a almost two hundred miles.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
Yeah, so there should be more further.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
There should be more Pittsburgh State College connected.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
There probably is, but it's a pretty healthy melting pot.
And right now in State College there's a lot of
front running fans that that make sure you know that
they're Philadelphia fans a lot a ton, and they're in
your face so I'm curious to see how that's going
to be this weekend because you know, people if had

(27:12):
Philly one, they be walking around with Eagles gear on
or something Eagles to go along with which, by the way,
even though green is like a variation of blue, like
I think that it's it's weird, you know, don't mix green.
Don't mix green with blue. You know, two different two
different days, two different deals.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
But you know, that's a great point.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
I mean, and what do you do, by the way,
if you're in Philadelphia and you just don't want to
watch sports this weekend because you just don't want the
reminder of what happened to your teams? Like what options
are there for you in Philly? Do you go like
apple picking or their orchards?

Speaker 4 (27:45):
So great, it's a great question, Jonas. I mean, it
is a festive time of the year about to say
it's almost almost Halloween and stuff like that. I mean,
you know, who knows, who knows? You know, I would
think that they're still going to do their normal sports
routine on the weekend. They're just going to be extra

(28:07):
ready to hate on other teams, like they're going to
pray for demises so that they can have company in
their misery. And that's how Philly fans work. That's how
they work. And listen. If you're a Philly fan and
you're listening, first and foremost, much love, much respect for
listening to our show. A lot of people come up
to me and say, you know, we get them going

(28:29):
in the morning, even yesterday when I was at Zimbies
and at the Legion. I went to the Legion yesterday
and that was pretty cool. Yeah, Legion, I'll tell you
the post. But the point is is that they listen
to our show. So I'm not trying to be disrespectful
to you guys. I'm really not. I'm just keeping it.

(28:49):
I'm just keeping it all the way one hundred with
what it is.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
Post seven thirty feels like you're dancing on their grave
little bit right now.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
I'm not. You want to be real, I'm not. But
I mean, they make it cute. They make it so
that when something like this happens, you have to take
your shots at them because you always sit there every
every single time you ever think about how one person
in your life.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
By the way, Brady, as we pointed out this week,
his behavior around Graves questionable at best.

Speaker 4 (29:22):
Oh dang, why what what else happened?

Speaker 3 (29:25):
I don't know, you know, well, let me.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
I don't know where you're going.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
Oh oh oh the red thong, the thong. Oh okay, okay, ca.
I mean, but listen, there's the there's always that person
in your life. And you, guys, we all know one
where you give them grace, like because you feel bad
for them, like you don't give them a hard time.
You let them go. But when something good, but when

(29:50):
something good happens for them, you talk about me. When
something good happens for them, when something goods, they make
sure you know about it. That is me. I guess
that is.

Speaker 5 (30:03):
That's you.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
I guess that is me because I am I'm a
horrible winner. I'm a horrible winner, and I'm a horrible am.
I Philly. I'm not Philly.

Speaker 5 (30:14):
You have a therapy session with.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Damn am I Philly? God? Maybe the years at Pitt State.

Speaker 5 (30:23):
Yeah, I don't you a big doll a big.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
Dang anyway. So yes, I am dancing. I did not
dance on your mom's grave, though. Johjeez, you're you're, you're you're. Yeah,
it was your niece.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
No, no, no, she was trying to make money, So
you can't you did this, Yeah, we can't tell you, so.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
Don't blame me. Dancing on that grave that was your
niece dance and she was doing a hell of a
job dancing on it too. He was not was not
waste that opportunity actually helped.

Speaker 5 (31:01):
That actually has described a lot of things for me.
Just like seeing it that funeral, I was like, man,
Kelly's kind of like this got some wild stuff going on?

Speaker 4 (31:11):
What was she saying? What were her final words? Like?
Your whole asses out? What? What's your final words while
your red throng and your whole asses out talking to
your your great ant what what? What's well? What's your
final words?

Speaker 3 (31:31):
Probably?

Speaker 1 (31:32):
Uh hey, at least it matches the rose, you know,
I mean that would be my guess.

Speaker 4 (31:39):
I mean, I guess that's why women wear red lipstick
or red shoes when they wear all black, right, I
mean everybody had all black one. You know, her splash
of red came unexpectedly. The situation cadillact too, you know,
the Cadillac. It's just a very It's just that's the

(32:00):
very unforgettable day in my life. I had no idea that.
I mean, I had no idea that jonas your family
would have such a lasting memory in my mind space.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
Well, listen, the last thing we want to do here
is dwell on the negative any longer.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
I mean, but speaking of dwelling in the negative and
speaking of Graves, I mean, we talked about it last segment.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Well, yeah, I mean, but.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Philadelphia Phillies, they their season is in the grave.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
But we don't want to pile on here, so that
you don't want to, we'll move on. Yeah, it is
time for the tire rack play of the day. The
old One swinging a broken back comebacker Kirkering knocks it down,
picks it up.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Why don't they hold to the back stop? And the
season is over?

Speaker 5 (32:51):
The Dodgers rushing out past o'rian Kirkering, who stands with
his hands on his knees bent over.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
That is courtesy of the Phillies, cold blooded for that
we're gonna lose, Philly Man, Philly's not gonna want to
listen to uh to this showy logger.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
But did it to yourselves? That is the tire rack
play of the day.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
For over forty years, tyrack has been helping customers find
the right tires for how what and where they drive
shipped fast and freeback by free Road has a protection
with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation, tire rack
dot com. The way tire buying should be. Well, haven't
we did to land on those losses coming up here?
Those losses landed on us.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
By the way, Brady, how about our cubs? Huh?

Speaker 1 (33:38):
How about them staying alive? Let's go baby, refusing to
go away? Fellas refusing to go away only to set up,
only set up a game five.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
That they're going to get annihilated in.

Speaker 5 (33:51):
That's how it's gonna have faith. Now have faith. Oh
my cubbies can do it. Dodgers took care of business.
No panic, bros. But cubbies can do it.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
Man.

Speaker 5 (33:59):
I love to see that for the of the NLCS comes.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Dodgers of be awesome, it'll be this It'll be the
third time in the last nine years, twenty sixteen, twenty seventeen,
and then uh it would be this time. But you know, yeah,
I'm not optimistic. And also, nobody's beating the Dodgers like
it's just they're so loaded, man, They're they're they are loaded.

Speaker 5 (34:21):
Hey man, that's why we play the game. So let's
see what happens. But game five, baby, let's go.

Speaker 4 (34:28):
Yeah, oh, you can't tell about the way up man,
Come on, saga, do so do so? But the way y'all?

Speaker 1 (34:43):
All right, well listen. The only thing better than that.
And by the way, if you're in Philadelphia you want
to feel better about yourself, Yeah, it's just put his
nuts and advice.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
Because he was way up here when he was singing
the zone.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
If you're in Philadelphia and you want to do something
to get your mind out things because it hasn't gone
well sports wise, go to home depot.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
Is it the home depot?

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Makita tools are built for the pros who show up
early with tools built to last job after job, year
after year. When the job calls for the best call
on Makda available at the home Depot, how pros get
more done? All right, it's coming up next year. We

sports or entertainment.

Good thing.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
The guys are here to bring you in case you.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
And for that we turn it over to our executive producer, the.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
One and only rowdy Ian Roddy. All right, good morning guys.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
Before hey, before you give them an in case you
missed it, give them a little original Louisiana hot sauce. Okay,
that perfect balance of peppers and vinegar and saltan putting
it on your food wings hot not cho burgers. Yeah,
just make sure you bring that to the Stick City
tailgate everybody out there. I becomes the Sti City tailgate
you can tomorrow, right, Yeah, that's Louisiana Hot Bay you

(39:31):
some go ahead, go. I just thought I got a
little hot shots the crow bar that in there, because
you know, I'm kind of like a Philly fan, you know,
at hard I guess, so there you go.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
No, perfectly, I will be doing that absolutely.

Speaker 4 (39:44):
Let's expek, sir. Let's start with this piper.

Speaker 9 (39:47):
In a bit of a surprise, Jalen Carter sat out
last night in the Eagles Thursday Night Football lost to
the Giants. It was a heel injury reportedly on the broadcast,
though Ian Rappaport reported that it was his under standing
that the infamous MetLife turf was a big factor in
the decision to keep him sideline.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
Though, what do you guys think that's real?

Speaker 5 (40:08):
There's a lot of medical staffs. They don't want their
players playing on that turf. I get it, especially coming
back that.

Speaker 4 (40:15):
We didn't mention his name, but they don't do well
when he's not in the lineup, and and so he's
his health is going to be, you know, something to
pay attention to. So he's not in the lineup. They're
a different team.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
So the turf's reputation is so bad that one of
the best players is not playing because he doesn't want
to risk injury on that turf.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
And the NFL is still.

Speaker 4 (40:39):
Like, or is it they don't or is it they?
The team doesn't want to Is it him or is
it they? Or is it both? One doesn't have to
be false, I guess. I mean, I would say it's
probably the team. He's not making that decision.

Speaker 3 (40:51):
Well, I would say he probably has some saying it doesn't.

Speaker 4 (40:54):
He uh, if he can play, I don't think he's
going to sit there.

Speaker 5 (40:59):
And yeah, player wouldn't sit out the game because that's herved.
The medical staff would determine that. But there was someone
else too. I thought I read he was coming off
an ACL or something, and they it was somewhere in
the last week and it was the same thing. It
was like, yeah, they're thinking about not playing them this
game because of the turf something crazy.

Speaker 4 (41:21):
Since you got to take those things, I mean, if
you're a smart medical staff, that's something that you got
to take into considerations.

Speaker 1 (41:26):
Okay, But if you're the NFL, shouldn't you also take
that into consideration and be like, hey, maybe we need
to do something about this.

Speaker 5 (41:32):
Yes, Okay. Here's the thing is, if you really want
to get into this, the fact that the World Cup
is being hosted in North America and all these NFL
stadiums are going to host games, and what are they
doing for these games? They're bringing in grass Oh yeah,
they're literally they're literally saying to you, you imbeciles in
the US, you imbeciles. They're like, you guys don't care

(41:53):
about your players like we do. We're bringing in all
grass fields and they're not great. That's good as the
ones we play on, but we'll rather play on that
than your crap turf fields you guys play on and
subject your players to injuries.

Speaker 9 (42:07):
On the worst part, they're actually switching it back after
the World Cup. They're going back to talk when they're
actually moving it.

Speaker 4 (42:16):
There's way more maintenance making it up funny.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
For how many.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
Billy as Yeah, yeah, beaver is all natural.

Speaker 5 (42:33):
There, man. Let me give you the example. If you do,
you see all the nice horse stalls, all these beautiful
racehorses flow the world. If you go just a little
bit yonder, you'll see a pig pasture. All right, that's
what That's how the NFL have used the players versus

(42:54):
these like major soccer clubs across the world, and how
they view their race horses. They would they want them
on the best turf possible. Don't let the big pasture.
Go ahead and play the turf fas

Speaker 4 (43:05):
You gotta trim that beaver, you know, stadium
